Heath Pov:
"The human world. It's not exactly all that bad, I've heard they got good stuff to enjoy like television shows and games. Though it can be confusing since they enjoy starting conflict with each other, that's what my dad says since fire imp's main goals in life is causing trouble for humans and anyone that has a peaceful life and hasn't been in any trouble. It's possible I'm getting into the habit now since that mangy Shisa threw me and Rhodey into a portal to travel with Junior and the others to a place called 'Seattle'. I mean the city doesn't even sound exciting or anything like the places I've been at, though the places I've been were always on fire and lined with brimstone. Hope they at least have good food since will be walking around a lot."
Human World-Seattle
When the realm of Kaiju's had begun to be open amongst the human world, Pandora had placed numerous portals around the world in order to help monster kind travel there without any fear of being found out or tracked by humans or anyone that had any kind of aggression towards them. Especially in human cities due to how most monsters lived there to be around an area of resources or food, the portal was in Seattle was located underneath the memorial bridge. Appearing from the side was a purple light appearing which showed Junior stepping out to where he saw himself underneath the structure and seeing the human city from the bridge. He continued to look around the area until he noticed by the side a statue of a troll by the side of the portal which startle him, since the details of the troll statue looked genuine.
"Human fascination with making monster sculptures, music I get. Art? Not so much."
He grumbled at the sight as well noticing another figure coming from the portal which was Frankie coming out. Surprised by how they got through without any side effects or falling over, Frankie took a second to look around where they arrived along seeing the buildings.
"If we weren't on a mission to save our friends as well figure out why a possible witch wants with Draculaura. I'd like to take a visit to the space needle and great wheel."
Frankie expressed an interest in looking at the sights and places the city is known for. Junior couldn't help but smirk at the positive outlook they had no matter what situation the group was in, though the moment was interrupted with another set of footsteps coming out which showed Deuce who saw the two and smiled at them arriving together. Before he could say anything, there was a yell coming from behind him which led to Heath falling right on top of Deuce and falling on the ground.
"Before you start thinking I wanted to come here, blame your ex for being worried about you. She got some kind of side I don't you know about, first minute she's scary and the second she's nervous."
Heath telling Druce and the others as he got off his friend to then helping him up from the dirt he got covered in. Just as it would get complicated for them to walk around the place, they soon saw another figure coming out of the portal which was Rhodey who flew out like a bat out of the underworld. The four teenagers saw the flying bird coming out and heading into the skies in excitement.
"When he comes down. Remind him to rip his wings off for possibly getting us caught."
Junior informed Frankie since this type of show boating would get them noticed by humans and possibly captured by humans who would take them to places and do experiments on them. The fiery kaiju soon descended back on the ground to regroup with the others due to how he had to stretch his wings before arriving to the human world.
"Couldn't help myself. After getting thrown by Caesar and traveling here, I thought I'd make my arrival a bit more epic. It's lucky I didn't burn up and blow up the place like my man does after waking up from a mountain."
He joked with his friends upon making it through as the others didn't think it was funny since it was vital that they didn't draw any attention to them. With that in mind they heard several horns blowing above them as the group hid in the shadows to avoid being seen. Taking a moment to look, it seemed like a parade was happening with several of them appearing in sports gear.
"Looks like our kind of party. What's happening up there?"
Deuce asked out of curiosity since his snakes were able to take a moment to look at the passing people seeing them cheering on for numerous sports that the city enjoyed. Frankie took out their Icoffin to check out what was happening, it took them by surprise seeing how it was an exciting occasion.
"It's the city's annual parade of sports and entertainment. Numerous team's that represent Seattle have a parade with hundreds of humans attending and following them across numerous places."
They explained about the excitement and showing the group where the parade was going. Hearing that sparked an idea from Junior since this was their best way to walk amongst the town without getting noticed. Making his way up from the bridge and near the edge, the lizard boy noticed three humans and two mascots that resembled a dinosaur and eagle that were big enough for himself and Rhodey to wear. Taking a moment to straighten out his throat and not sounding serious, he decides to lure them over.
"Help! Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!"
Using a fake face to lure them over as he could tell the humans were to wound up and excited to not be focused on how Junior sound. Walking down to the side where his friends were curious at what he was trying to pull off, the lizard gestured them to hide behind the troll statue and any place where they could hide in the dark. The group of humans arrived to notice no one around along checking out the troll statue looking down on them.
"It had to be that rival team from the hockey side. They always like to mess with football, they should do it to those Lacross players. I mean who plays Lacross anyway?"
One of the football fans asked as they thought it was a trick to get them out of the parade in the hopes of scaring them. The eagle mascot decided to take a selfie of himself near the statue since it seemed worthwhile before retreating back to the parade, as he took a photo of himself. He took a moment to notice a surprising sight was Heath who had photo bomb the feathered man.
"Nice look. I know several harpies that can pull off that look better."
He spoke with a smile and ignited his hair to scare the mascot as the others soon walked out of the shadows to 'scare' the humans. Just as the five were cornered and to the point of passing out, Junior stood right behind the frightened individuals and growls softly in a manner that indicated he'd eat them.
"Boo."
The lizard said as his eyes glared at them and decided to test out his special ability Kaiju fury on humans since it could intimidate any Kaiju's around him. Panicked and feeling an intense feeling of fear and intimidation coming from the lizard, they collapsed to the ground in a frightened state and passing out from the look of him.
"Okay, you three grab their hoodies and glasses. We get the suits."
He instructed to the group as he whistled to Rhodey on dragging the hawk themed mascot to the side which made him groan since it be weird removing clothing off a human. While the boys handled with getting their suits, the monsters were careful enough to not wake the humans as they borrowed off their hoodies and glasses.
"While I don't like doing this type of stuff because it's mean, it is a clever plan. Most movies that I watched with Clawdeen always have people wearing disguises like these and no one noticing them."
Frankie explained the concept of wearing such disguises as they placed a pair of shades on themselves and smiled to the pose thinking they appeared as someone else. The boys nodded as they heard scuffling from the side which was Junior and Rhodey who came out wearing the mascot suits that were causing them trouble since they felt uncomfortable.
"You know if we put your average clothes on. No one would notice you wearing a mascot suit."
Deuce making a joke to Junior about his look as the lizard was aiming to let out a roar at him due to how sweaty the suit was feeling on his scales. Though the moment was cut short with someone yelling out and coming underneath the bridge, Heath quickly hid the humans from the side and regrouped with the others as the five saw a human with a clipboard and headset looking stressed out as she noticed the group.
"There you are! The crowds getting restless waiting for you two, I thought you three had them ready for the performance."
Exclaiming at them for not having the two mascot wearers ready as they merely played along nodding at the manager on the pair being ready. Deuce decided to take charge and shrugged to the manager now the two were just getting their suits properly ready as he helped the two Kaiju boys up to rejoin the parade. Frankie stood by Heath who seemed both excited and confused on where they could be heading off to. Coming up top to the streets, the disguised students saw a whole crowd of humans celebrating their sports along having all kinds of music and people cheering on one another.
"Alright, so they already instructed you on the music they picked and where to go when it starts?'
The manager asked the two which left them nervous since it seemed that they were going to be a part of a performance. Having no choice but to nod their heads, the manager looked over to the band behind the float of what was prehistoric football field. While that was happening, Deuce asked Frankie about the address and saw they were a few blocks away from the location. In which he waved at the pair of how they needed to go along with it until they arrive to their destination.
"Does Junior know any songs that aren't rock or metal? Cause this could turn out awesomely bad."
Heath asked Frankie since they could be in trouble due to how Junior doesn't do anything that had an upbeat feeling. The reanimated ghoul merely looked at the fire imp with a disapproval look seeing how she knew he could do it, though it was a matter of feeling the groove of the moment. Just as the parade started to go off, the band behind the float started to hit their drums beginning the performance and had several cave themed football players take Junior and Rhodey up on the float.
"Boom-boom, acka-lacka-lacka, boom! Boom-boom, acka-lacka, boom-boom. Boom-boom, acka-lacka-lacka, boom. Boom-boom, acka-lacka, boom-boom!"
The players sang which caught the two off guard due to how aggressive they said it, while Rhodey had trouble with going along with the performance. The lizard boy was able to recognize the song and felt embarrassed since he heard the song when he was little. Tapping his foot to get into the rhythm, Junior played along with the band and started to move with the beat.
"It was a night like this, forty million years ago. I played my favorite songs, picked up a monkey skull to go. I heard the sound of drums, didn't know where they were from. Wherever I was it stared to buzz, and now I'm having fun."
He started to sing which took his friends by surprise since he sang in a positive way and swayed his tail left to right. While Rhodey stood on the moving float surprised by the king's change in voice, he heard the human woman waving at him to join in since his part was coming up.
"Everybody want the dinosaur, you can do the dinosaur. Put your back into it, do the dinosaur. They'll be shocked, do the dinosaur!"
Rhodey joined along as suddenly several cave cheerleaders came up in front of the float and begun to dance in unison. With how he had a group of dancers following his move and an audience cheering him on, Junior felt some type of excitement that he hadn't felt back in the realm. To which he follows the cheerleaders moves and added a few moves of his own.
"Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur. Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur. Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur. Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur!"
The cheerleaders sang with him along following his moves perfectly while Rhodey tried to join in with flapping his wings around in a playful manner to keep the act up. Seeing how the parade was going down the street and the humans remaining there to watch the other floats moving forward, Frankie and the others moved down the crowd of people since they needed to follow the address where Frankie and their missing friends were at.
"Boom-boom, acka-lacka-lacka, boom! Boom-boom, acka-lacka, boom-boom. Boom-boom, acka-lacka-lacka, boom. Boom-boom, acka-lacka, boom-boom!"
Repeated the words again and looking to the dinosaur mascot to continue his moment. While it was a surprise having back up dancers by his side and them smiling towards the dinosaur mascot, Junior's attention when to his friends on the side and mostly to Frankie since he hope that they were enjoying the show since it was there first time amongst humans.
"I met you in a cave, you were painting buffalo. I said I'd be your friend, follow wherever you go. That night we split a rattlesnake and danced beneath the stars. You fell asleep, I stayed awake and watched Physical!"
He sang loudly which had the crowd cheer for him as well the others who watched him keeping up with the act. Though Frankie noticed how Junior looked at them and couldn't help but blush at when he noticed them, along moving over to the light pole and caused it to short circuited. It affected the other poles and changing the lights to different colors which surprised the audience except for Rhodey who could tell it had to come from Frankie.
"Everybody want the dinosaur, you can do the dinosaur. Put your back into it, do the dinosaur. They'll be shocked, do the dinosaur!"
Rhodey calling out as he decided to add his own style to the performance and moved his wings to create a wing blast sending several things flying off. It excited the crowd and didn't notice how it came from his actual wings, though the gust of air almost made Junior's mask come off and made him chase after Rhodey.
"Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur. Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur. Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur. Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur!"
The band and humans singing along since they though Junior chasing after Rhodey was a part of the show. Getting on stage and grabbing two large bones, the two fought one another which got the crowd excited. With that happening, Heath did a small part and used his powers to ignite the bones from afar. No one noticed how they got on fire but thought it was for the show, in which the two continued to play fight on the parade until the two put out the bones with the water that was on the float.
"Boom-boom, acka-lacka-lacka, boom! Boom-boom, acka-lacka, boom-boom. Boom-boom, acka-lacka-lacka, boom. Boom-boom, acka-lacka, boom-boom!"
The performers continued to sing as the Kaiju boys continued to play along with the show since they didn't know how long it be until they'd arrive to the location. Deuce's snakes hissed underneath his hood at how they were coming up on the street which was time they got ready to depart. Trying to wave at Junior to signal him into heading off, the lizard nodded as he glared at Rhodey to make sure to make it look good for their finale.
"Everybody want the dinosaur, you can do the dinosaur. Put your back into it, do the dinosaur. They'll be shocked, do the dinosaur!"
Rhodey sang loudly and spun in the air with his wings spreading out which left the audience speechless at the sight. Landing the ground in front of the float, Junior could see he was trying to upstage him as he leapt over Rhodey and decided to do some free movement as the cheerleaders tried their best to keep up with him.
"Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur. Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur. Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur. Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur!"
Finishing the song and having several fireworks going off in the air taking everyone by surprise. With everyone applauding the performance how it went, it was the perfect time to sneak out during the commotion and get a new look since the suits would get them noticed. Sneaking off amongst the excitement and avoiding getting noticed, the students were able to avoid detection and made their way off to see where Clawdeen was at and possibly the others.
Later on
Traveling on her own was nothing special for Clawdeen since she had to learn quickly when growing up being half wolf and human. Its was natural for her to walk amongst others without standing out, so right now it was her advantage in finding Draculaura and Mira. She arrived at the address that Frankie was able to look up, in which it took her by surprise since it was a company building.
"Coleman Eves."
Clawdeen read the name of the company as she walked over to the signs around the place as it was known for helping out people with making the environment better for the community. Deciding to check out the scarab that Cleo had given her to see if there was witchcraft around the place, it didn't blink leaving her no choice but to investigate inside of the building if there was a clue if her friends had visited there. Preparing herself to step inside, Clawdeen's ears began to twitch as she heard scuffling from behind one of the food trucks that was parked amongst the street.
"Please it let people arguing about their food orders."
She hoped for who might be arguing as Clawdeen could recognize the voices due to her hearing and had no choice but to investigate on who was causing the commotion. Trying to think it was another group arguing amongst each other, she found the group and was able to recognize them through their hoodies and disguises. Clawdeen saw Frankie, Deuce and Heath who tried to not look suspicious and saw how the half werewolf girl noticed them quickly.
"Before you possibly yell and or bite our heads off. This was Junior's idea, and Cleo's cat of a bodyguard kicked us with them for moral support."
Heath telling her which got Clawdeen look even more frustrated as she noticed behind the truck was a familiar tail which made her walk over to see Junior and Rhodey, who had on a different set of clothes on to cover themselves but them being ripped up and looking more monstrous like.
"What, in the name of all that's howling are you all doing here?!"
Holding back a possible yell since she didn't want everyone to know about five monster teenagers hanging around a populated area with humans. Her friends kept close to Clawdeen so they didn't attract attention since they had a lot to explain to their upset wolf friend.
"We're here to help, especially how Junior needed assistance in understanding the community. Plus we're in disguise and have the element of surprise."
Frankie explained in an optimistic tone since no one was able to recognize them when they'd arrive through the portal. Clawdeen, on the other hand looked at Junior for having tracked them and everyone else here thinking she might need help. The reptile boy said nothing since he could tell from the look from her eyes she was frustrated, to which Deuce wanted to have his say in the matter.
"Along that my sister is here. Despite us being adoptive siblings, I'm not going sit around and wait to see what happens. She's family."
He explained in a serious tone due to how protective he was over the moth girl despite what might be going on. With having listen to him and noticing the others looking prepared to help out with whatever dangers lied ahead, Clawdeen merely breathed in and accepted the fact that her friends wanting to help out regardless of what could happen.
"Alright. Just stay out here and try not to draw any attention to anyone, okay?"
Clawdeen asking them as they nodded in how they could stay out of trouble and keeping an eye out. Walking over to a table to seat down and watching Clawdeen heading inside, they saw on Deuce's Icoffin was a video cam starting up as Clawdeen would make sure everyone would be able to see what was inside of the building. The interiors was massive along having a theme of helping out the community and nature out, while also having its signature being a green leaf.
"Wouldn't have been better for us to go at night? Let us go all Kaiju and stomp around the place?"
Rhodey asking how instead of keeping hidden they'd infiltrate the buildings and get their friends back. Junior, tail whipped the back of his head since he didn't want to start any confrontation. The five continued to watch the cam as the place seemed both dull and not suspicious looking, that was until the cam shifted in Clawdeen's hand as she took out the scarab from her pocket and saw how it was glowing in an ominous manner.
"Guys. The scarab is sensing magic, a whole lot of it."
Clawdeen responded on the other side which made them concerned about why a human building with technology would have magic. Frankie took a moment to look at the sign which made their bolts shock with electricity and having a terrible realization.
"Coleman Eves, it's not a name. It's an anagram."
Informing Clawdeen and the others as Frankie brought out their Icoffin and quickly typed in the words and started to rearrange the words one by one. Unable to understand what made Frankie act up, they turned the device around showing the hidden word within the company's name. 'Salem Coven', reading the words got them nervous as they looked at the building with a different perspective.
"Salem Coven. As in the same town that forced Pandora to travel to the Kaiju realm? Along the coven that took out hundreds of humans after avenging the witches deaths?"
Deuce asked out of concern since he and the others knew about the town that was responsible for casting Pandora away. It had changed with a coven taking over and destroying the humans responsible for the killings, along becoming the strongest covens of the witch world. Junior's reaction came to him glowing at how Clawdeen and the ghouls could be in danger if anyone found her out, though he restrained himself so he loses control and decided to think than lash out.
"Clawdeen, just come back and will think of a plan."
He said through the Icoffin since they could possibly detect Clawdeen's monster side if they noticed her. While it made her upset about leaving, she had to agree and head back outside with the others to think of another way of getting in. That was until she noticed by the side of the counter table was a technician phone number that made her smile, 'Apollo and Johnson Technician support'. Coming out of the building with a smile as well new plan brewing in her head, she found a way to get into the building without drawing attention to her or the others. Though only hoped that Draculaura and Mira weren't in danger within the company building.
