Alexander explained his plan. The silence was rather telling.

"Well, if you can get everything you need, it should work." Giles said. "It's just a matter of getting the military to agree."

"The Prometheus should be back by now, it can help. I'll need to take the Altimah out to get some of the pieces in place."

"But only if Jack agrees." Corda pointed out. "He's going to think you're insane, I'm not sure he's not right."

"Oh, ye of little faith. If it works, I get to pick our next date night."

"And if it doesn't work, we may all be dead. But if it just fails, you have to wear a tux when I choose our next date night."

"Agreed." They shook hands on it.

Alexander called Jack. "Jack, I need to ask a favor." And explained his plan.

"I agree with Corda, you're crazy, but it might just work. I'll talk to Hammond and make arrangements."

"Corda and I will head out in the Altimah to get the other pieces in place."

"Good luck."

"I'm pretty sure, I'm going to need it."

Alexander and Corda took the Altimah out the next morning and found what they needed a couple solar systems away.

"Descending into the atmosphere." Alexander said. "Approaching target. Engaging tractor."

"We're looking good, Alexander. Heavy as that thing is, it's nothing compared to that asteroid." Corda commented.

"So true. Now that was kinda a scary trip, but you as usual, were a steady rock."

"Thank you. Do you have a good spot to drop it?"

"Yeah, I see good place. Putting it into orbit. Now."

"Here's hoping this works."

"It should. It's not like she can throw lightning or fly or anything. Strength and speed seem to be all she has going for her. Setting course for the outpost. One more ingredient to pick up."

Alexander set the Altimah down on the cleared area by the outpost and just in case McKay hadn't yet learned his lesson, set the security protocols and he and Corda exited thru the airlock.

"Captain Harris." Dr. Weir said icily when she saw him. "The President himself called on the sat phone and ordered that we give you what you want. Are you certain you need it?"

"It's necessary for my plan. And no, you're not cleared to know anything, so don't ask."

"Very well. I'll have some guards help you load it."

"I appreciate that, but I have something that can help."

"What is it?" Dr. Weir asked when she saw him attach a device to it.

"An anti gravity unit. The Nox like to float their cites. They make really good anti gravity devices of many sizes. And no McKay, you can't study it. It goes back to them when we're done here." Alexander back may have been to McKay, but he didn't need to see him to know he was pouting.

He maneuvered everything onto the Altimah, secured it and they returned to Sunnydale.

"Everything is in place." He said. "Now it's just a matter of baiting the trap. Wish me luck." Corda gave him a long and deep kiss. "Incentive for coming back alive."

"It works." He agreed and headed over to the penthouse apartment where the Hell goddess was hanging out.

He knocked on the door, when one of the ugly little warty guys opened the door, he put his plan into action. "Oh, finally! I have found the home of the great goddess. Is the beautious one at home, that I may pay my respects?"

"Finally, a human that understands and wants to worship me. Up 'til now, I just thought all you were good for is brain sucking."

"Most amazing one, I must tell you of both terrible and great news. The foul monks that dared to hide your Key from you, have banished the Key to another realm, but I know the magics that will open a way to the realm where they dared to hide it from you." Gods, he should get an Oscar for hamming it up like this.

"They dared! Show me the way to this realm human and I won't brain suck you."

"I thank you, most precious one. If you will follow me." He led her to the park. "Here, most awesome one, this will open a portal to the realm they sent it to."

"Open it, worm."

"Yes, yes, of course." The portal flared to life.

"You will be rewarded, once I have reclaimed my place." She walked into the portal. The little warty guys ran after her.

"Do not leave us, Great One!" And followed her into it. The wormhole in the Stargate shut down.

"It's a good thing we had Buffy get close enough that we could actually hear those creepy little things talking to her over her communicator. And she really is stupid." Alexander commented.

"Where'd you send her?" Jack asked, as he came out of his hiding spot.

"To a gate we put in a decaying orbit around a sun. Gravity will pull her down, she'll probably try to retreat into the human she's imprisoned in and the sun will kill him and since they're life forces are tied together - ."

"She dies too."

"She was stupid and she wanted to be worshiped. It made it easy to lure her into the Stargate." Corda said. "I still think it was crazy, but at least you were wearing an energy shield, just in case she tried to brain suck you."

"Too bad Anubis isn't stupid. You were right, he did get off that world Carter sent him to. Now he's out and we still have a big problem." Jack said.

"We need a way to deal with his half Ascended ass." Alexander agreed. "We get the plant up and running, we outfit the SGC and we finish planning the expedition and we see if we can find something in Atlantis that can help. And deal with the Wraith if they're still around, while we're at it."

"Well, it helps to have goals." Jack agreed.
