The Altimah arrived at the staging area just prior to the Prometheus. When the order was given, Alexander didn't hesitate and jumped to hyperspace along with the Prometheus and the Free Jaffa vessels. They came out of hyperspace near the planet and were confronted by the ships Ba'al used to defend Dakara.

"Johnathan, monitor the sensors, I can't be distracted right now, I need to concentrate on flying and shooting. Oz, I'll be using the pulse cannons for the first time, they're going to take power, watch the Potentia. Corda, all over monitoring. Keep an eye out for Bra'tec and Teal'c's assault. Let me know if they run into trouble. May the gods be with us."

The Gou'ald launched their fighters first. The Altimah darted in and out, taking out fighters.

"The Prometheus is launching fighters." Corda reported.

"Too bad they couldn't bring their pyramid ship, but I understand Earth wanting to make sure they had enough for their protections. Jon and Sheppard might be able to fight off a force with the chair, but if it's a large one, maybe not." Alexander had commented before they left. Corda had agreed. There was wisdom in the Earth expression 'not putting all one's eggs in one basket.'

"Alexander, I'm reading more Gou'ald pyramid ships about to drop out of hyperspace!" Corda called out.

"Where? Send me the coordinates!"

Alexander saw the window begin to form at the coordinates Corda sent him and tried a very unsafe strategy.

"Firing forward pulse cannon at the developing window!"

"You're trying to collapse it?!" Corda exclaimed.

"Trying. Firing again."

"It's destabilizing!" Corda called out. "The pyramid ships can't handle the stress, they're breaking up. One managed to exit. The Prometheus is firing rail guns at it. It's shields are buckling. The Prometheus has destroyed it!"

"Good. We're running low on drones. Damn, we need to add those to the things we're going to be manufacturing."

"Bra'tec and Teal'c's assault looks like it's working too. They've taken the Stargate and are pressing on."

"Have we lost anyone yet?"

"Two of the Free Jaffa ships have been destroyed. The Prometheus couldn't beam them out with their own shields raised. There's only one enemy pyramid ship left. The Free Jaffa are closing on it."

"The Prometheus is going to let them have the victory. This is a physiological battle for the future of the Free Jaffa after all. Finishing off the last of the fighters."

And just that fast, the battle was over and the Free Jaffa and their allies had won.

"Alexander, I've been monitoring the battle on the planet. My scans have found something else. That very tall mountain is covering Alteran tech. I'm reading a massive energy potential."

"A weapon?"

"I think so. We should check it out."

"Agreed. Colonel Pendergast, this is the Altimah."

"Reading you, Altimah."

"Colonel, we're reading Alteran tech on the planet. Possibly a weapon. It needs to be checked out. It looks like Bra'tec's forces have captured the enemy Jaffa. Unless you have an objection, I'm going to set the Altimah down so we can check it out."

"I have no objection. It might come in handy if the Gou'ald forces attack."

"I agree. We'll let you know what we find."

Alexander set the Altimah down near the mountain and after securing it, the four of them exited through the airlock.

"A well fought battle!" Alexander called out to Bra'tec when he saw him.

"Indeed. We have achieved a great victory." Teal'C agreed.

"We've only won half the battle, if I understood the purpose of this battle." Corda said.

"And what do you know of battle, Woman?" One of the Jaffa sneered at her. Then he was blinking up at the sky.

"Little piece of advice, don't piss off my wife." Alexander grinned, enjoying watching Corda put the guy in his place.

"And she is not wrong." Bra'tec pointed out. "We have only won half the battle. Now we must hold Dakara."

"We may have found something that could help with that." Alexander said. "Our orbital scan showed that there is Alteran tech inside this mountain. The energy potential indicates it may be a weapon."

"One that could help us hold Dakara?" Bra'tec asked.

"Possibly, if we understand it and can get it working."

"Then let us attempt to do so."

Alexander pulled out his small scanner and ordered a scan. He was moving the scanner around to get as much information as he could when the scanner passed over Corda. A blip had him aiming the scanner back at her. Something had changed. He compared his current readings to the one already recorded and the scanner gave him some very interesting information. The scanner slipped from his fingers as he stared at her.

"Alexander? What's wrong?" She asked.

He gulped and said. "Our date night, two nights ago. Something happened."

"Yes, I was there. I remember what happened."

"Something else happened. Something we've waited nearly 460 years to happen."

She stared back him as she put the pieces together and slowly raised a hand to her stomach, a questioning look on her face.

"Yes. You're two days pregnant according to the scanner."

The questioning look became one of wonder. Corda launched herself into Alexander's arms.

"A baby." She whispered.

"A baby." He answered.

Oz and Johnathan could only stare themselves.

"Uncles." Oz said thoughtfully. Johnathan just nodded.
