M-21 breathed in as he woke up, something warm under his cheek. This had happened enough times he just sighed, recognising Takeo's scent.
"M...?"
"Yeah?" His head was on Takeo's lap but there was something off about his hearing... It was better than usual. His senses hadn't been sensitised when he'd gone instinctual before.
"You with us?"
M-21 raised his head to frown at Tao. "What's wrong?" It was obvious he wasn't instinctual anymore so why was Tao still checking?
"Weeell," Tao drew out, then motioned towards his own head, like he was running his hand through his hair without touching it, "you've kinda gotten new... Uhm."
New what. Except M-21 had a sinking feeling he knew, and then Takeo's hand descended on his head. There was something there, brushing Takeo's hand and he could feel it as it twisted around.
There were two, and they had to be ears. That explained his better hearing.
Then Takeo rubbed at the base of his ears and the tail M-21 wasn't even aware he had thumped against the sofa as blood heated his cheeks. He couldn't stop his tail, not when Takeo kept rubbing where it felt good.
"Shit," he groaned, dropping his head when Takeo stopped.
"Yeeeah," Tao said, "we kinda assumed those would go away once you came back."
"They didn't." Obviously. "Frankenstein?"
"Downstairs," Takeo said.
"Do you want to go down, or do you want us to call him?" Tao asked, his phone already in his hand.
"I'll go down," M-21 said, grimacing. This didn't feel like his regular transformation, so the faster he got used to walking with a tail, the better.
Erokoneko talked to me about werewolves' lack of tails, and I really can't have too many wolf!M-21 verses, heh.
