Disturb
Tao groaned, flopping an arm out at the offender. "Five more minutes." He was sure he said that anyway. That was what his brain had wanted to say. He wasn't sure how long he'd been asleep but he knew he'd gone to bed way too late after finally finishing a stubborn project.
The offender kept tugging at his blanket though and Tao yelped, grabbing the blanket before it disappeared. "Nooo, I'm WARM! No cold air!"
He rolled around, wrapping himself up in the blanket again.
The offender didn't give up, climbing on top of the bed to pull from a different angle.
"Why?' Tao whined, doing his best to stay in his cocoon of warmth.
He paused when he got a huff and a soft growl in response and Tao peeked out to see a silver wolf standing on his bed, one corner of his blanket held securely between the wolf's jaws.
Oh.
Tao continued blinking, M-21 gazing back at him.
"Do you wanna go outside?" That was one of the biggest reasons Tao could think M-21 was trying to wake him up, and really. They had to install some kind of door that recognised M-21 when he was a wolf so he could go outside by himself. But that usually involved a collar and that wasn't going to work…
M-21 shook his head and nosed at what he'd managed to pull free.
Hmmm. Tao wriggled free and lifted his blanket up, scrunching his face up as the cold got in.
As soon as he'd done that, M-21 dived under with him, pressing up against him with a huff.
"You coulda woken me up better ya know," Tao grumbled, tucking them both in and aaah, blissful warmth.
M-21 growled at him, his tail thwacking Tao in the leg.
"Okay, maybe not," Tao admitted, yawning as he wrapped an arm around M-21 and buried his face into M-21's ruff. "But still…"
He didn't finish his sentence, already drifting off again.
