Laki groaned as she pushed herself up. "So this is where the rest of your friends were hiding." Dan chuckled looking into the church. "Now take this!" He dived down and tried to stab Laki. She rolled out of the way and Happy was hit, shrinking him down.

Romeo threw a pair of fireballs at Dan, who blocked with his shield. The fire bounced around the room and forced everyone to dodge. Laki covered Happy from the volley and took a hit. "Don't worry, we'll fix this." She said.

"Come on, punks. Let's go!" Dan smirked before Romeo tackled him. The knight flipped him over before Laki grabbed him from behind. "Well, someone's excited to get married in this church."

"Like hell I am!" She said before grabbing the lances handle. She pulled and stole the weapon before tapping Happy. The cat returned to normal size with a happy cheer. "Now let's get this over with!" She tossed the lance to the side before Romeo pulled on the shield arm with his magic. "Wood Dragon Redwood Fist!" She slammed her hand into Dan's face, sending him flying into the church wall.

He fell off the wall unconscious and crashed onto the floor. "Man, he is much more pleasant to deal with like this." The emblem in the church glowed before it faded away, revealing the massive clock piece. "We found it!"

"Way to go, Laki!" Happy cheered. "You killed two birds with one fish."

"I'm pretty sure you have your metaphors mixed up." Michelle said.

Out of the room, Coco looked in and stared at it in amazement. "There it is."

"How are we supposed carry that home?" Happy asked.

Dan popped up from behind and tried to hug Laki, who pushed him back. "Dude, you are really starting to piss me off." She said. "Now get lost!" She kicked him in the chest sending him tumbling back. "Some guys just can't get a clue."

"To be fair, Natsu was like that before you told him." Happy replied.

Dan popped back up and raced over again. Romeo triggered his sticky flames and grabbed the knights feet, hanging him upside down. "Please, PLEASE let me show him my art projects." Laki requested.

"Absolutely not!" Lucy shouted. "We're here to collect the clock piece, not kill him."

"Wait, where's the other member?" Michelle asked making the others looking around.

The church roof crashed open to revealed Byro and Kanaloa standing over them. "Enough of this foolishness. I shall deal with these insolent children myself." Dan was struck on the head by a falling rock, knocking him out.

The guild members looked up to see the older man holding the clock piece. "That belongs to Lucy! Give it back!" Laki shouted.

Library of Sorcery

"Eat this!" The Guy pulled off a glove and a shadowy hand reached out and grabbed Wendy before throwing her. She bounced off a shelf and pulled her fist back. The girl threw a punch only to be meet with a surprise inferno that stopped her.

Erza glowed before entering her Flight Armor, hoping to out speed the mercenary. "Hard to See!" The tattooed man increased his own speed and matched Erza before slamming his bat into her stomach. "I thought Titana was supposed to be tough. That's why Jellal hired us."

The red head growled before entering her Heaven's wheel and sent the blades at at her opponent. He batted them away with ease before slamming his weapons into the floor, sending vibrations all through the tower. Cana stumbled back into a shelf which fell over, revealing a hidden chamber. "Cana, are you okay?" Carla asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." The brunette replied before looking into the chamber. "Talk about a lucky break." She chuckled before the two raced down the hall. The two burst through a large door and stared at the clock piece. "We just struck gold!"

"I guess we should thank those ruffians for showing up." Carla added, reaching into her pocket. "We should call Wendy now."

"Thanks for doing the hard work for us!" Both turned around to see absolute darkness fill the room. Punches hit both in the gut before a motorcycle was revved up. Chains wrapped around the clock piece before it tore the wall down.

"So how much do you think we can get for this?" Knucklehead asked from ontop of the piece. A sword slashed the front tire and sent it crashing to the ground.

"You bitch!" The cloaked man shouted, studying the damage to his bike.

Paying no attention to him, Erza turned into her Blackwing Armor before swing her sword. The chains snapped before Wendy jumped down, her cheeks puffed with air. "Sky Dragon Roar!" Wendy unleashed a powerful roar, sending the two shooting outside the library.

Cana and Carla raced out of the room with smiles on their faces. "So, how do we carry this thing?" Cana asked, looking at the piece.

"Oh, I'll just carry it with the rest of my luggage." Erza said, stunning the other three.

With Shadowgear

"Why haven't found it yet?" Levy asked.

"Stop working your mouth and keep working the shovel!" Gajeel replied as he continued to dig.

He froze in mid air before returning his arms to normal. "Is something wrong?" Levy asked.

"I get the feeling we're being watched." He mumbled, catching everyones attention. Glancing around, the Dragon Slayer looked up to see Samuel floating above them. "Why are you here?"

"That should be obvious." The cat replied. "We're after the same thing, aren't we? I've come to claim it. I am Samuel, the brains of the Legion Platoon."

"He must be the Exceed Laki mentioned." Levy mumbled.

"You want that clock piece, come and get it Sammy." Gajeel growled out.

"Refrain from abbreviating my name, thank you." Samuel requested.

"I'll take him down." Pantherlily said, gripping his sword. "You guys find the clock piece as fast as you can."

"Pantherlily and Rose, correct?" The light gray cat asked as he took to sky. "An honor to meet a pair of elder Exceeds. When you think about it, that makes you like older siblings to me."

"You're not worthy to call yourself that." Lily said, drawing his sword and growing his wings.

"Don't be so cold hearted." Samuel said. "After all we're both Exceeds. We should at least try to get along, brother."

"You'll have to do better than that to vex me, Sammy." The black cat teased.

"Let's go. We can dig up the clock piece while Lily keeps him busy." Levy whispered to Gajeel.

"Lily! Don't blame me if you lose!" Gajeel shouted before turning back to his hole.

"I know all about you." Samuel said. "Tell me, how did our brothers feel after you sided with the humans?"

"What I did was based on my convictions, and I've never regretted it." Lily replied.

"Seems like you have a temper... you could learn a great deal from me." The other cat said, pushing up his glasses. "Logic triumphs brute force, after all."

"Do you plan to fight or just talk all day!?" Pantherlily asked, growing to his battle form.

"I more than plan on fighting." Samuel said doing the same.

Lily swung his sword only for Samuel to dodge every strike. He then raised his claws, which started glowing, and swung them at Lily. The black cat blocked them before getting hit in the stomach by a kick.

Gajeel dug through the ground before it exploded, sending the others falling into a chamber. "Where are we now?" Jet asked as they looked around.

"Those are some weird statues." Droy mumbled as Jet climbed one.

"Do you really think we should climbing that thing?" Rose asked.

"Hey, there's something written here." Gajeel said, making Levy walk over.

"It says... 'I'm hungry'?" Levy repeated in confusion.

"Guys!" Rose asked, flying up. "From up here it kinda looks a clock piece."

"So we need to point it at lunch time?" Droy suggested.

"Not a problem." Gajeel chucked before punching the stones into position. A statue sank into the ground before the group walked up. "This is too easy." The Dragon Slayer chuckled before pulling out the clock piece.

The ground started shaking before they jumped off as the statue suddenly grew. "You idiot!" Levy shouted. "It also says that you will face the wrath of the rock guardian. Why didn't you listen to me?"

"Next time, talk faster!" He shouted back.

"Could you save the arguing for later?!" Jet and Droy shouted. The arm of the statue swung and forced the group to jump. "You just relax, Levy. We'll take care of this for you."

"Solid Script: Oil!" Levy chanted before black goo flooded the floor, making the stone lose grip on the ground.

"My Turn. Grip Plant!" Droy shouted before throwing seeds to the ground. Vines grew out of them and wrapped around the stone, trapping the rock. Jet ran up the vines to hit the glowing tip only for the vines to snap and him to fall. The speedster hit the oil and tried to run again, only to slip and crash into Droy.

The statue broke free and chased Gajeel around. "If we can't hit that thing, this will go on forever!" He complained as the exceeds flew into the room. He jumped out of the way of hand before an idea crossed his mind. "Hey, shrimp. Catch!" He hucked the disc at her and the statue chased her.

Gajeel ran up its foot and jumped, holding his arms over his head. "Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Karma Demon - Iron God Sword!" He swung his massive sword and cut the statue in half, impressing Lily.

"How-What-when-Why!?" Samuel mumbled in shock before Pantherlily slammed the blunt side of his sword into him. The platoon member crashed into the wall and was rendered unconscious before falling to the ground.

"Seems like you need to work on your adaptation, Sammy." Lily teased.

Fairy Tail Guildhall

Alzack walked outside to find his wife and child sitting on a stump. "Hey, hon." Bisca said as he reached rhe two.

"So what book is reading now?" The husband asked.

"Key of the Starry Heaven." She replied. "She wanted to the guild, so we borrowed it from the cathedral's library."

"Mama?" Asuka asked, catching their attention. "Is this really how the book ends?"

"Yeah. Why, is something wrong?" Bisca asked.

Inside the guildhall, Kinana placed a cup of coffee in front of Macao. "Is something wrong, Master? You seem a little down."

"Oh, he's just worried about Romeo." Wakaba teased. "He's like an old man."

"I AM his old man." The guild master replied. "What do you expect?"

"Calm down, man." The smoker chuckled back. "Laki is with him, remember? He'll be fine."

"I hope you're right." He sighed out, making Kinana nervously smile.

With Laki's Group

Byro glared down at the group from on top of the octopus. "You know, standing on top of seafood isn't really that intimidating." Laki said.

"I care not what you think. I will destroy you." Byro said before the cephalopod shot ink out of its mouth. Laki and Romeo jumped back and black goo corroded the ground.

"Whatever you do, don't let it hit you!" Happy shouted as he lead Lucy and Michelle away.

The octopus swung its tentacle at the two and hit Laki. She unleashed a roar and the spiked logs bounced off the skin. Another shot of ink went out and crumbled some of the buildings where Coco and Dan were hiding. "Run!" Lucy tackled her away from some falling rubble.

The two crashed into a wall and chuckled at each other. "You need to watch out for your teammates!" Laki shouted holding Dan over her shoulder. "Hey! Watch the hands!"

"I thought you were supposed to be on the same side." Lucy said.

"That may be, but any proud member of the Legion Platoon would be glad to give their life for the cause." Byro replied.

"Why don't you ask her that?" The blonde replied. "You don't own her and neither does Zentopia. She can make up her own mind."

"You are in no position to make demands." The man replied. "You fail to truly understand the reality of your situation. There are more lives ay stake than you could ever know."

With the Strauss Siblings

Lisanna swam underneath the lake in her mermaid form until she found a puzzle. Quickly solving it, the lake drained from one into another before her siblings joined her. "Nice work, sis." Mirajane said.

"Thanks." Lisanna replied. "Honestly, I was starting to feel like a third wheel. Silly, right?"

"Nah, I noticed it too." Elfman said before walking over to the exposed clock piece and ripped it out of the ground before throwing it to the side. "Oh, not her."

Mary Hughes walked next to the piece and chuckled. "Thanks for doing the work for me." She chuckled, holding her baton up. Elfman charged her with his magic, only to try hitting his sisters. "Did you really forget about my magic, idiots?"

"Fight me like a man and take it from us!" Elfman shouted in anger.

"Nah, I'd rather watch some brother-sister drama." She chuckled, pointing her wand at the group.

"Why are you doing this?" Mirajane asked.

"Because the archbishop told us to, that's why." Mary Hughes chuckled.

"So you're nothing but a puppet?" Lisanna asked.

The church girl growled at the sisters before pointing her wand at them. "Fine, then I'll just make you my puppets." The wand started glowing before a second finger extended. Mirajane screamed in pain before a demonic scream started. "I can do more than just control bodies. I can control magic itself!"

Mirajane glowed in a dark aura before her Satan Soul left her body. The human half fell to the ground before the soul turned to the siblings. Elfman entered his own Take-Over and tried to punch the possessed Take-Over only to get blasted into a rock. The spirit charged him and created another explosion. "This is the best thing ever!" Mary chuckled.

"This is what you get for defying the archbishop! Now you die!" Elfman crashed to the ground and returned to normal as the soul grasped Lisanna by the neck.

Mirajane regained her senses and looked up to see the scene before her. The soul tossed Lisanna into a rock wall and she gasped in pain as Mary chuckled. "Alright, funs over I guess. Time to put you out of your misery."

"Do you enjoy this?" Mirajane asked. "Causing pain to others?"

"Yeah, because that means I'm the weakling I used to be." The church girl replied. She waved the wand and the soul summoned a ball of dark energy. "Sadly, this is where you die! Nothing you do can save you now that my wand controls your power!"

The ball turned into a beam and fired it, only for an explosion to rise where Mirajane was. "Oh, no..." Elfman mumbled as the younger siblings looked up. A blue tail rolled down Mira's back as she held out a hand. "Mira, calm down."

"Impossible, she has another Satan Soul!?" Mary asked.

"What is this, Elfman?" Lisanna asked.

"We need to leave now." Her brother declared. "This isn't like her normal Satan Soul. Master forbade it for a reason." The dust settled to reveal the eldest sibling in her new form.

Her ears are covered by sky long blue scales, extending backwards, and gain pointed edges, bearing resemblance to those of elves. She also gained similar scale-like armor in their forearms and hands as well as in their legs. Each forearm also received a fin-like protrusion on its outer side. She also grew a large, sky blue, stocky tail seemingly made of metal plates or scales, getting smaller and smaller near its end.

The clothes also change, with her swimsuit having been replaced by a light blue and dark blue, one-piece suit revealing their arms and legs, which is open on the front and the back, exposing most of the belly, wide cleavage and upper back too. Completing this Satan Soul form were s pair of angel-like wings that are pointing upwards.

"It's known as Satan Soul: Halphas."

I think this is a fun stopping point after all the fights in this chapter. And I don't think a single person saw the second Satan Soul coming. Say what you want about this arc as a whole, but that is a freaking great moment.

Not really a whole lot left to say. Bye.
