A couple of hours later, Sabrina, making breakfast, when her mom came down the back staircase that led upstairs.
"Good Morning, Nana," Sara said from her seat at the kitchen table.
Good Morning, sweet pea," she said, walking over and kissing her on the head.
Sabrina looked up and said, "Good morning, Mom."
"Good Morning, my pebbles," she said, walking over to her and kissing her on the cheek.
"Breakfast is readiest, Mom," she said, picking up her cup
Linda stopped her, and asked, "I hope that is not coffee, Sabrina, knowing that you are pregnant."
"No, this is not coffee its herb tea that I drank when pregnant with your grandchildren."
"Okay, honey, just making sure; that you are not drinking coffee during your pregnancy."
Sabrina smiled and said, "I appreciate that, Mom, but I made you some coffee."
"Thank you, my pebbles," she said, smiling and pouring herself a cup of coffee.
"You're welcome, Mom," she said, placing the eggs on the platter.
Linda poured some milk into her coffee and then sugar and stirred it.
Linda sipped coffee and said, "Mmm, good coffee."
Sabrina chuckled. "Well, I learned from the best how to make coffee, and cook meals."
"Good answered Sabrina Alexandria," her mother said with a smile.
"I know, Mom," she said, picked up the platter, walked around the island, and placed the platter on the table.
Sabrina placed some scrambled eggs on Sara's plate, then place them back down in front of Sara.
"Thank you, Mommy,' she said, smiling at her.
"You're welcome, pebbles," she said, smiling back at her.
Sabrina placed some eggs on her mother's plate and then on her own plate, then sat down at the table. Linda walked over to the table and then sat down.
"Smell delicious pebbles," Linda said, with a smile.
"Thank you, Mom," she said, eating her breakfast.
"You're welcome, pebbles," she said, eating scrambled eggs.
"Good, Nana?" Sara asked with a smile.
"Yes, sweet pea, good," she said with a smile.
"So, my pebbles, what are you are doing, today?" her mom asked.
"I am going to make some calls and check in on my husband," she replied.
Linda chuckled. "Miss him, huh."
"Yes."
Linda chuckled, "That's normal, sweetheart. I miss your dad when he is on the road."
"Daddy missed you and me too, Mommy," Sara said, Sabrina chuckled.
"Yea, and how do you know that pebbles."
"I know, Mommy."
"Sabrina, I can take Sara with me while you make your calls."
"You don't mind, Mom," Sabrina said.
"Nope."
"Are you sure, Mom, Sara is a handful," she said
"I am not worrying, pebbles, and I dealt with you, and your siblings too."
"Okay, Mom. Be a good girl for grandma pebbles."
'I will, Mommy."
An hour later, Linda left the house with Sara, and Sabrina grabbed her cell and made some phone calls to check in with her husband.
"Everything okay with Sophia, Joshua, and Julian?" she asked
"We're fine, baby, just missing you and Sara," John replied.
"Well, Sara and I missed you too."
"Um, we are coming there p for Mother's day this weekend,"
"Okay, great, what day; I asked Mom if my OBGYN was still practicing medicine, and she was. I will make an appointment to be checked out by her."
"Okay, see if she has any for Saturday so I can be there with you."
"I will, babe."
"I don't hear my princess right now."
Sabrina chuckled. "That's because she is out with Grandma Linda."
"Looked out, Grandma Linda is spoiling her already," John chuckled. Sabrina laughed.
"I wouldn't be too surprise either. My poor dad might end up in the poorer house because my mom cannot control herself spoiling her grandkids," Sabrina laughed.
John laughed. "Mom is like all grandparents. They cannot help themselves when it comes to their grandkids."
"Yes, love. Let me go. I need to call the doctor's office to make the appoint."
"Okay, I love you, baby."
"I love you, too, baby; baby."
"Bye, love. Text me the day of the doctor's appointment."
"I will," she said, ending her call with her husband.
Sabrina began to dial the doctor's phone number, when the doorbell rang; she stood up from the sofa, walked around it, then out of the living room, toward the front door. Sabrina unlocked the door, then turned the doorknob opening the door to see her sister Stephanie there. Sabrinawaveds her in, and then closes the door and relocks the door.
"Good Morning, Dr. Collins medical office."
"Good Morning, my name is Sabrina McMahon Cena. I used to be a patient of Dr. Collins."
"Okay, how can I help you, Mrs. Cena."
"I would like to know if Dr. Collins has an appointment for this coming, Saturday?" Sabrina asked
"Let me look," the nurse said, typing on her computer to see if there was an appointment for this coming Saturday.
"Um, there is a 9:30 a.m.. appoint avail?"
"Okay, 9:30 is fine."
"Okay, Mrs. Cena. Birth of date?"
"Dec. 4, 1980," she answered, the nurse typing on the computer.
"Reason for appointing?" The nurse asked
"I took a home pregnancy test, and it came back positive," she answered.
"Is it your first pregnancy?" the nurse asked
"No, it's my fourth pregnancy," she answered.
"Fourth pregnancy."
"Yes."
"Okay, brings your medical insurance card and picture I.D."
"Okay, I will see you Saturday."
"Yes, you will, Mrs. Cena.'
Sabrinaendeds her call with 's office, saying, "Hi Steph."
"Hi, Brie, Dr. Collins office."
"Yes, I want to be checked out, and seeing that John and I moved back here. I need an OBGYN doctor, and Dr. Collins use to be that doctor."
"True. When are you heading home?"
"After Sunday," she replied, sitting down on the sofa.
"Mother's Day."
"Yes, you will meet your niece Sophia, and nephew Joshua this weekend."
"Really"
"Yes, John, Joshua, Sophia, and Julian are coming on Friday."
"Great. Um, would you mind if I brought them something?"
"Of course not, Steph. You are their aunty. I do feel bad that I couldn't make you godmother to one of the girls. But if this baby turned out to be a girl you are definitely going to be the godmother."
Stephanie smiled and said, "Sara is not here, right?"
"Yes, Sara is with Mom right now."
"Good. It's not your fault Brie; it's Paul's fault that you had to go into hiding, causing Mom, Dad, and me to miss out on birthdays, births, christenings, and holy communion."
