A/n: Here's another update. I edited the last chapter the bit where she said she could only see faces. I changed it to where she could see where the murders take place. Anyway, enjoy! Thank you for reading!

Chapter 6: No Exit Part 2
I was shivering with fear. I tried not to be afraid, but I was. I was stuck inside some sort of chamber in the walls. I heard movement next to me and I wondered what it was but I was afraid to ask.
"Hello?" It was Jo!
"Oh my god. Jo!" I cried out with relief.
"Hey. Yeah. I take it Teresa got out in time."
"Yes!" I cried with happiness. "She did."
"Well, this won't make you feel any better, but I'm here to rescue you," Jo said.
I laughed bitterly. "Great. Look, he's out there. He's going to kill us."
"No, he won't. We're getting out. Sam and Dean are looking for us," she said.
I drew in a deep breath, trying to calm down.
Quietness settled in, until heavy footsteps could be heard within the walls. Fear struck me once more.
"Oh god…he's here!" I cried anxiously.
"Shh. Just be quiet," Jo ordered.
Just then a hand snatched some of Jo's blonde hair in her pwn prison. Jo yelled in pain. Tears ran down my face as I tried anxiously to get out by kicking my foot at the bottom of my prison chamber, but it was no use.

"Who is this guy Jo?" I asked after awhile in silence.
"H.H Holmes, the first serial killer," Jo said gloomily after she attempted to escape her prison. "Shh, shh, I think he's coming back."
"You're so pretty. So beautiful."
"Go to hell! " Jo yelled and then stabbed him with her knife. He yelled out in agony.
"How do you like that? Pure iron, you creepy-ass son of a bitch!"
Jo was still. I was still. Afraid.
"Is he gone?" I asked timidly.
"I don't know, I…" she stopped. He wasn't gone. He was still here.
"Shh," Holmes whispered as he came closer.
Jo struggled against Holmes' as he put his hand over her mouth. I tried to get out of my prison furiously.
"Get away from her!" I yelled.
"Hey!" Dean said, catching the serial killer's attention and shot him with his shot gun to get away from Jo.
I sighed with relief that the Winchester's were here.
"We're going to get you out of here, all right?" Sam asked me. I nodded as he started to dig with the crowbar in his hands until he finally reached an opening. I crawled out into his arms and leaned against his firm chest. I was shaking like a leaf.
Dean grabbed Jo and she stood on her own two feet.
"Sam!" Dean cried.
"You all right?" Dean asked.
"Been better. Now let's get the hell out of here before he comes back," Jo said. I was with her on this one.
"Actually I don't think you're leaving just yet," Dean said.
"What?" Jo asked.
"Remember when I said you being bait was a bad plan? Now it's kind of the only one we got."
He turned to Sam who still had me in his arms. He shrugged.
Sam knelt me down beside one of the prison chambers and I hugged myself to stay quiet. I looked at Sam in horror. He shook his head.
"I'll do it," Jo said. "You've played enough bait today."
I nodded thankfully.
Jo was sitting alone in a circle with her arms wrapped around her knees. Holme's came close to her.
"Now!" Dean cried. Jo crawled out of the salt as soon as Holmes was inside it.
"Scream all you want, you dick, but there's no way you're stepping over that salt!"
The grate slammed shut, sealing the room. We climbed upstairs outside of the prison chamber into the sunshine. I was glad to be out of there.
"So? This job as glamorous as you thought it would be?" Sam asked.
"Well, except for all the pee your pants terror, yeah, sure. But that Teresa girl's gonna lie a life because of us. It's worth it, isn't it?"
"Yeah, it is." Sam said.
"No more trauma either," I added. Jo nodded.
"Hey, what if somebody finds that sewer down there or a storm washes the salt away?" Jo asked.
"Both very fine points," Sam said. "Which is why we're waiting here."
"For what?" Jo asked.
Dean came through with a cement truck.
"A cement truck?" I asked.
"You ripped off a cement truck?" Jo asked dumbfounded.
"I'll give it back," Dean grinned, backing it up and pouring out the cement to cover the chamber sewer down below.

I was smushed in between Sam and Jo in the backseat of the impala. Dean was in the passenger side while Ellen drove back home.
"Boy, you, you really weren't kidding about flying out, were you?" Dean asked, trying to lighten the mood in the car.
The three of us looked at each other silently.
"How about we listen to some music?" he reached for the dial on the radio and turned it on.
"You're as cold as ice…" he turned it off. Nope.
"This is gonna be a long drive."

Ellen stormed into the roadhouse, dragging Jo's shoulder. Sam, Dean, and I followed.
"Ellen? This is my fault. Okay? I lied to you and I'm sorry. But Jo did good out there. I think her dad would be proud," Dean said confidently.
"Don't you dare say that. Not you," Ellen said. "I need a moment with my daughter. Alone."
Sam, Dean and I nodded and we walked outside into the morning sunlight. I was exhausted from the drive, the emotions that came with me saving Teresa's but from being traumatized by the monster at hand.
"So, how was playing the hero?" Sam asked me.
I shrugged. "It was all right."
Sam gave me a look. "Kaylee…it's silly for you to do this," Sam said. "I know you think it's noble, but you could've gotten killed."
I looked up at the sky. "But I didn't. You guys showed up and saved me and Jo."
"But what if we weren't there?" Sam asked.
"I would've found out a way to escape," I said in defense. "Maybe I do need the practice of being a hunter, but I'm no hunter Sam. That's you, Jo, Dean…I'm just a psychic who wants to save lives like you."
"So what are you saying?" Sam asked.
"I'm not saying. I'm asking. Let me come with you," I said.
Sam scoffed. "Kaylee…."
"Come on. I can tell you wehre the victim is, and get in the middle of it. Be bait for the evil sucker and none would be the wiser." I said. "I can handle the emotions that come with the job, Sam. I can do this."
Sam shook his head. "No. I won't allow it."
"Why the hell not?!"
"Because it's too dangerous."
I scoffed.
Just then Jo came walking out of the roadhouse. She looked pissed. She and Dean had a word together before she finally left. I gave one look at Sam and ran after Jo.
"Hey Jo! Wait up!" I ran after her. She nodded at me and I looked back at Sam. Sam gave me a rueful look and I just shook my head.
"So much for hunting," I said with a quiet sigh.
"Don't worry, we'll make something work" Jo promised. She wrapped a hand around my shoulders as we walked out into the field.
