Kicking Grimms' Butt with Four Spirits!
Krillin hadn't stop staring off at the new face of a beautiful young woman he just met with his very eyes of Lazuli, his heart is racing a bit faster than normal and look frozen.
But hopefully that doesn't give off the impression that he's a weak fighter as he is riding on a Bullhead with Kakarot, Violet the Huntress they are shadowing for their first mission and Lazuli who is tagging along for this mission and alone because her team are still resting from having just return from the last mission.
"What's with your friend here, does he need to piss at the bathroom or something?" Lazuli asked, noticing how this short guy is staring at her strangely.
"I don't know, I think he might be getting nervous about the mission, but he's always ready to go." Kakarot confused of this as well.
"Krillin, buddy?" Kakarot waved his hand in front of Krillin's face, but no reaction from it.
"Krillin! Are you still alive!" Kakarot shouted loudly and shaking Krillin crazy rapidly that finally got him to wake up from his trance.
"Kakarot! Stop that, I'm alive! I'm alive!" Krillin yelled back.
"Oh good, I thought something bad might've happen to you." Kakarot chuckled, relief to see his buddy all okay.
"Really? Sorry about that, I just huh, thinking if I let the water from our sink running. Wouldn't want the school to get a big bill for that nor having our room underwater." Krillin chuckled.
"Then you might have to wear a swimsuit to sleep at night." Lazuli advised.
"I don't mind, my home is an island, so I'm use to living surrounded by water though I never actually sleep in the water." Kakarot mentioned.
"Let just hopes it doesn't come to that." Krillin exclaimed.
"It looks to me like you're finish getting your act together." Violet said getting their attention.
"Sorry about that, ma'am. Guess I can be a little worry about some things." Krillin apologized.
"A Hunter must always sharpen his mind and focus on what we are sent out to do such as fighting off the Grimms, our biggest and sworn enemy." Violet stated.
"Way to make it more serious than it already it." Lazuli rolled her eyes.
"But she does have a point about the creatures of Grimm being our biggest problem with how dangerous they are, especially with slowly becoming stronger." Krillin pointed out.
"Those guys would be exciting and awesome to have for training if they weren't all evil bent on destroying us." Kakarot commented.
"Of course, you would see them like that." Krillin sighed.
"At least some of us have a sense to see that while the rest are just being idiots for not trying to put a big blow on the Grimms." Violelt clutched her fists in anger.
Kakarot can tell this woman does not like those who are too focus on themselves for some yet obvious reasons like those who wants and became Hunters are just in it for money to make themselves rich or to become famous, or both at the same time which is mess up in the means of being a Hunter.
"Bet being a Huntress is harder than it looks." Kakarot commented.
"More so than you think, monkey boy." Violet sighed.
That's when they felt the Bullhead stumble a little for a slight shake and the hatch door opening up showing a different scenery than back at the dock in Beacon.
"We've arrived." Violet said as she and the students come out.
They are now standing at the border of the kingdom, at the very edge of Vale where the big wall is in place to keep the Grimms out along with a small building that serves as a living quarter, but they notice the place looks a little worn down.
"Alright team, our mission here is to find any Grimm that has been sighted close to this border and end them before they become a problem in the future." Violet told them of the mission.
"For the next seven days, we will be working as a team, and I will be the one to see how you all will fair against the threat. Show me everything you learned from your school and strength you carry with your fists and heart, if you dare to lack off even a little then I'm sending you back to school." Violet crossed her arms.
"I'm ready for action!" Kakarot pounded his new gauntlets together.
"I'll do what I can to help." Krillin nodded with his turtle shell ready.
"Whatever gets in my way, I'll destroy them no problem." Lazuli moved her hair up a little with a strong glare.
"(Whoa, that's so hot! Be still my beating heart!)" Krillin thought amazed of this girl.
"Alright, let' go check in with one of the guards here then we'll go hunt some Grimm." Violet nodded.
The Hunter group went up to one of the guards that is station here to help protect the border and along the way, they notice several Atlas soldiers are here as well doing their own guard duty and a few interacting with the Vale guards.
"Hi, we're the Hunters here to help with Grimm problem." Violet greeted.
"Hello there, glad you answer the call. We were worried that we have to wait a bit longer for any help to arrive." The guardsman relieved.
"Well, we're here and kicking monsters' butt is our game!" Kakarot smiled exciting.
"I can see that, but I think you should be careful considered this is Grimm we're talking about." The guardsman pointed out.
"How many are we talking about?" Violet asked.
"Over a dozen, and I fear there might be more even though none of us here are making any negative feelings that could draw in so many. We managed to deal with most of them, but the stronger ones dealt a major blow to us and retreated in the woods." The guardsman explained and pointed at the woods.
"Even with the Atlas help?" Lazuli asked.
"Yeah, them coming did help increase our numbers though that's all we seem to manage when those still came at us." The guardsman looked down in shame.
"Sounds like you guys haven't gotten any sleep as well. No wonder you look like shit." Lazuli said.
"H-Hey, don't go trying to piss off the guy we're about to help! We're supposed to be working with them!" Krillin gasped of Lazuli saying that out loud.
"Do we now? I guess you can see that much." The guardsman chuckled.
"He's okay with the insult!" Krillin shocked.
"Alright then, we're gonna go in that forest to find as many Grimms as we can the report back here for sunset." Violet nodded.
"Please do and be extra careful when you go in deeper. According to two of the guards who manages to come back reported about two Grimms that look like two gorillas and a big elephant." The guardsman informed.
"Okay, thank you for the info." Violet thanked before turning to the students.
"Prepare yourselves, we're about to have ourselves a game of Grimm Stalking." Violet declared.
"Don't you mean hunting?" Kakarot asked.
"I know what I said, now move out!" Violet ordered.
The four Hunters did a last second check with their weapons though Lazuli doesn't appear to have any weapons on her right now, this worries Krillin thinking her weapon must've been damage from the last mission she was on and wonder if she'll fight using her bare hands.
"Is there something you need?" Lazuli asked.
"Sorry, I was just wondering where is your weapon?" Krillin asked nervously.
"Oh, guess it's alright to show you." Lazuli pulled out a hilt from her coat.
"Huh, just a hilt? How do you fight Grimms with that?" Krillin confused.
"You're about to find out." Lazuli grinned as she pressed the button on center and dozens of little blades came out from the back of jacket that were like metal plating come and forms together into a single long sword.
"Now there's a sword, that's so cool!" Krillin amazed.
"That's right, the metal plates on my back are actually pieces of my sword in "Resting Mode" you could say until I press the button, activating the gravity Dust in the plates to form the sword." Lazuli explained about her weapon.
"That is something, I don't think I've ever seen a weapon like that. You must've put a lot of thought in this." Krillin amazed.
"Not really, I mean I did want a plain sword that is durable to defend and sharp to cut through even the toughest Grimm, but it was actually my brother who gave me the idea of using Dusts like gravity." Lazuli mentioned.
"Oh, guess that means your brother is the imaginative one in the family." Krillin commented.
"You could say that." Lazuli grinned a bit.
"Look alive, you two. We're going in." Violet said before walking to the forest.
The group are walking through the forest together being on guard and keeping their eyes sharply open to see if there are any Grimms around, but so far nothing as they go deeper into the forest.
"You know, this is reminding me of those horror movies I secretly watch behind my parents' back." Kakarot said whispering to Krillin.
"I've been trying NOT to think about those horror movies." Krillin gulped.
"Man up, it's the things of things Hunters always face when they're out in situations like this. You should know that by now." Lazuli scolded.
"O-Of course, how stupid of me to be scared at a time like this!" Krillion buffed himself to feel brave, but still a bit scared on the inside.
"Halt." Violet said with one hand up stopping the group.
"Over there." Violet whispered and pointed the way as she slowly approaches to the right behind some trees as the others follow her.
They peek over the trees seeing a small group of Grimm, about twelve as some are Beowulves and Ursas along with some Creeps, but the ones that makes Violet feel a little scared and worry are the two Beringel and one huge Goliath as they are in the back of the pack.
"Damn it, it looks like we got ourselves some nasty ones." Violet cursed a bit.
"I've never seen a Grimm that big before." Krillin surprised to see an elephant Grimm like that.
"But it's kind of odd about those Beringels here, I thought they're mostly seen in Mistal." Lazuli looked at the two Beringels.
"Sometimes life can surprise you like Grimms that aren't normally seen around here can suddenly show up." Violet stated.
"You should be mindful that not every Grimm are mindless for some can grow mature to be a little smarter to know when to attack, they just wait for the perfect opportunity to strike and clai their next kill." Violet explained.
"Okay, now that just got me scared, but it also got me thinking the Grimms who attacked the border might be planning on attacking again since they took out some of the guards." Krillin stated.
"Which is why we're going to stop them before they get the chance to attack again." Violet nodded.
"Krillin, how about you lead the charge. Show me what you got." Violet ordered.
"Me lead?" Krillin shocked to hear this.
"Good thinking. My buddy Krillin here is smart and knows when to attack after defending." Kakarot nodded.
"Well then, I hope you can impress me today." Lazuli smiled.
Seeing the girl, he has been crushing on smiles directly at him causes Krillin to blush with his face turning red and his heart racing, but he quickly calms himself down knowing they have a mission to complete, and he is going to do his best to lead them to victory.
"Okay then, first thing we got to do is get their attention and have them focus on us. That should get them to forget about the border." Krillin suggested.
"Allow me to make the first move, I'll make those guys have a reason to attack." Kakarot volunteered with a smirk.
"Okay, that should give us a distraction to make our own move towards the horde while their guard is down." Krillin nodded.
"Already sounding like a leader, I'm almost impressed." Lazuli grinned.
"(She's almost impressed with me! There's hope for me yet!)" Krillin thought believed joyfully.
"Kakarot, you should go over there about thirty feet from us then you make start the attack." Krillin pointed at the left.
"Got it." Kakarot nodded before making his way to the left.
Kakarot carefully make his way to the thirty feet mark while looking at the Grimm intensely, but not so much intense to let them feel his negative emotions as he is also very calm and focus on the mission.
Once he arrives at the thirty feet mark, he smirks getting excited to fight off those three strong Grimms in the back.
"Time to fight!" Kakarot said before jumping in the air about sixty feet then throwing down an aura blast at the ground close to Grimms.
The sudden attack got their attention to look up seeing the culprit in the sky and blasted a few more aura attacks at them to make sure they don't take their eyes off from him.
"Now!" Krillin shouted and the three charges at the Grimms.
Violet took out her small gun firing the first two bullets as they are glowing light purple making first contact on a Beowulf, but the bullets slightly change course flying hitting the Grimm and flying around fast to hit it again and again until going through the eyes and killing it through the skull.
"Die my Purple Ricochet, you undead bitches!" Violet insulted the Grimms.
Lazuli jumps in slashes at the Creeps down with her sword showing her mighty swings and strength to cut them in two or four with her sword, she moves out of the way as a Beowulf was about to pounce on her and impale it through the stomach and slash in two.
"You puppies are not cute." Lazuli mocked and lightning sparks emits on the sword through the Lightning Dust.
Lazuli charges in slashing some Beowulves and Creeps for a while until she was stopped when an Ursa came in front of her, but its head was cut off when Krillin launched his Destructo Disc Semblance and fired a few missiles on two other Ursas.
"You okay?" Krillin asked.
"I would've handled that, but the save you did was good and even went after the other Grimms. Good instinct." Lazuli complimented a little.
"I'm quick to take the action when it calls to me." Krillin chuckled.
"Less lover talking and more Grimm killing, you two!" Violet shouted and fired six bullets for three Grimms, and this time they're infused with fire Dust.
"Right, sorry, ma'am!" Krillin apologized and rammed two Creeps in one charge.
"Take this!" Krillion unleashed his disc Semblance destroying them while Lazuli kept charging in slashing at the Grimms fast and strong.
"Okay, let see which one of you two will fight me?" Kakarot smirked at the three strongest Grimms here.
The Beringel on his left roars in rage before coming in with a punch to the head which Kakarot easily blocks with one arm, then throwing it off and blitz for a powerful kick in the stomach and jumps above to punch with an electric punch on the head so hard the Grimm became dusts.
"Nice to see their doing well." Kakarot smiled at the gauntlets.
The second Beringel charges in throwing some punches that Kakarot easily dodges while throwing some punches of his own and send it flying in the air, Kakarot charges up in the air and unleash a barrage of punches and kicks then ending it with a neck twist by the tail before throwing it at a tree.
"Now for the big guy." Kakarot smirked at the Goliath.
"I want to have fun with you, but I got to make sure you don't cause trouble for others." Kakarot said charging up his fist with aura and the lightning dust enhancement.
"Thunder Ape Descend!" Kakarot charged at the elephant going right for the head.
Kakarot's fist made contact with the giant Grimm that it only holds out for literally one second, then went right through destroying the Goliath in one punch.
"What the…?!" Violet gasped.
"He just destroyed that Grimm in one punch?" Lazuli shocked as well.
"Yeah, the guy's strength is like above the strength of a Huntsman." Krillin chuckled.
"Aw, I was hoping to fight it some more." Kakarot disappointed the fight is over now as now all the Grimms here have been dealt with.

Kakarot and Krillin have started their first mission with the Huntress Violet and Lazuli who has caught the eyes of the bald trainee, and it looks like Kakarot seems to be stronger than he thought against one Grimm.
