Adrien and Marinette were just getting out of the meeting when Adrien's phone rang and he answered. "Hello?"
"Mr. Agreste, this is Stella, one of the caretakers of the hotel's daycare. I'm sorry to inform you that your son Hugo Agreste is missing."
"WHAT!?" Adrien exclaimed.
Philip put Juleka's bags on the couch of their living room. "Okay here you go now I have to go to work."
"Wait, why don't you take the day off from work? It has been a while since we had time for ourselves." Juleka stated.
"I would love to but I have something urgent that I have to do at the office." Philip replied with a fake sweet smile.
"Can't it wait until Monday? I mean what's the rush?" Juleka asked.
"No sweetheart, it can't wait until Monday. The sooner the better." Philip replied before walking away, not even giving Juleka a goodbye kiss.
Adrien hung up and Marinette could see the concern look on his face. "Is everything okay?" Marinette asked, getting worried.
Adrien wanted to tell Marinette what was going on but at the same time he didn't want to worry her… maybe he will be able to find Hugo without her even knowing that he was missing after all every employee of the hotel was looking for him right now.
"Yea um a music video is just being delayed. Hey honey you look tired, why don't you go to our room and I'll go get Hugo." Adrien said, trying to find a distraction for her.
"Yes I'm tired but I can go with you to get Hugo." Marinette replied.
"No no it's fine you go get some rest while I go get Hugo and maybe we'll order room service." Adrien stated with a smile.
Marinette slowly nodded. "Okay I'll see you two soon." Marinette walked away.
Once Marinette was out of sight Adrien rushed to the daycare. "Please tell me that you found my son." He asked Stella, the one who called him.
"No sir but we are still looking for him." Stella replied.
"How did you even lose him in the first place!?" Adrien exclaimed
"We don't know. I was talking to him about how he wanted to go to the beach and I told him that he couldn't until he was with you and your wife. Then he asked if he could be with you and I told him not until you were done with your meeting. He went on to play and I went to stop two children that were fighting and when I turned back around he was gone. I'm really sorry Mr. Agreste." Stella replied.
"If he mentioned the beach maybe he would have gone there." Adrien said trying not to lose hope.
"That's what I thought too and many are looking for him there." Stella replied.
Adrien wasted no time and hurried to the beach hoping to find Hugo because if he can't Adrien would never forgive himself. Hugo was his son the other part of his life Adrien would be broken without Hugo and not to mention how Marinette would react without Hugo.
Adrien ran to one of the lifeguards. "I'm Adrien Agreste, the little boy that went missing is my son. Please tell me that you found him."
"We only found this." The lifeguard replied before handing a shirt to Adrien.
Adrien took it and saw that it was the same shirt Hugo was wearing that day. "This is his shirt, where did you find it?"
"On a rock near the ocean." The lifeguard replied. "We'll keep looking but it's most likely that he drowned."
Adrien's heart stopped as he struggled to breath. "No no no you have to find my son he couldn't have drowned…he couldn't."
Meanwhile Marinette was in the elevator heading to the hotel room. Two women were in there with her and they were talking to each other. "Poor boy, can you imagine if they found him drowned?" The first woman stated.
"The poor thing I wouldn't want to be in the place of his parents." The second woman replied.
A bad feeling went inside Marinette's heart and once the elevator doors opened she ran out and to the stairs. She looked everywhere for Adrien and Hugo but she couldn't find them. In the end she ran to the beach and saw Adrien so she quickly went over to him in a panic and out of breath.
"Adrien! Adrien what happened!? I heard a little boy drowned. Where's Hugo!?" Marinette asked while freaking out.
Adrien put a hand on her shoulder trying to calm her down though it wasn't working since Marinette could see in Adrien's eyes that he was freaking out too. "Marinette honey calm down I promise that we'll find him."
At that moment Marinette saw Hugo's shirt in Adrien's other hand. "That's - that's the shirt - shirt of Hugo." Marinette stuttered before she suddenly fainted.
Adrien caught her in his arms. "Marinette! Marinette wake up." The ambulance was called and Marinette was taken away to the hospital.
"Are you crazy Philip? What do you mean you want him dead?" Francisco, a spy of Philip's and his only friend, stated. They were in Philip's office talking.
"I want that jerk 50 miles underground." Philip replied. "No matter what I do to push him down he always finds a way to get back up. I want him out of my way once and for all."
"We're talking about killing someone, Philip, that's a big deal." Fanscisco stated.
"I'll pay you whatever you want." Philip replied.
"It's not about the money you know I would do anything for you but is killing him really necessary?" Francisco asked. "Think about what you're getting yourself into."
"You might be right but one thing is for sure Adrien Agreste will pay I promise you that." Philip said sternly. "I'll destroy him."
"Daddy!" Adrien quickly turned around when he heard that familiar voice and he sighed in relief when he saw Hugo running over to him.
"Thank goodness Hugo you're alive." Adrien ran to him and bent to his level as Adrien hugged him. "Hugo you got us all worried, where were you?"
"I went to look for you and mommy." Hugo replied. "I walked all over the building then at the beach but it was getting hot so I took off my shirt and put it on a rock."
"Hugo mommy and I told you many times to not walk off alone, it can be dangerous." Adrien stated as he broke the hug and checked if Hugo had any injuries but he looked fine. "Someone could have taken you or you could have gotten hurt. Mommy and I were so worried about you. Don't ever do that again."
"Okay daddy I'm sorry… where is mommy?" Hugo asked.
"I'll take you to her but first put your shirt back on." Adrien said before handing Hugo his shirt.
"Okay daddy." Hugo puts his shirt back on. Adrien took Hugo to the hospital that Marinette was taken to and after checking in Adrien took him to the room Marinette was at. Marinette was sitting down on the bed as the doctor was checking her as Hugo and Adrien walked in. "Mommy!"
Marinette was overjoyed as she saw Hugo and she hugged him while still sitting on the hospital bed. "Sweetie, I'm so glad to see you. How are you? Are you okay?"
"I'm fine I was just looking for you and daddy." Hugo replied.
"Sweetie when we leave you somewhere it's for your own safety and you're not supposed to leave especially with no one knowing." Marinette replied as she broke the hug.
"I know I'm sorry I promise that I won't do it again." Hugo replied with a bright smile.
Marinette hugged him again. "I'm just glad that you are okay."
"I'm okay but are you okay? Why are you in the hospital mommy?" Hugo asked.
"I just got really worried for you and I got dizzy." Marinette replied. "I feel a little better now."
"Mr. Agreste, Mrs. Agreste still has her blood pressure really high and I think that it would be best if she stayed overnight under observation just to be safe." The doctor told Adrien.
"Well I'm okay with that, what do you say Marinette?" Adrien asked Marinette.
"Well if the doctor indicates that it's the best thing to do then I'm okay with that." Marinette replied.
The doctor nodded. "You'll be under watch and be able to sleep better."
"I guess that you and I will spend the rest of the day all by ourselves Hugo. It'll be like a boys' night." Adrien stated playfully.
"Yay!" Hugo said happily.
"Oh and what do you guys plan to do on this boys night?" Marinette asked while raising an eyebrow playfully.
"Eat junk food and watch movies and /or play video games all night long." Adrien said going along with their playful game.
"Alright but if you two get sick tomorrow don't expect me to take care of you two." Marinette said teasingly.
"Don't worry we won't get sick." Adrien replied.
"Now say goodbye to your mommy. She needs to rest." The doctor told Hugo softly.
Hugo hugged Marinette one last time. "Goodbye mommy."
Marinette hugged him back. "Bye dear, take care of your childish father."
"Hey I heard that." Adrien whined playfully.
Hugo laughed. "Don't worry mommy I will."
"You guys are so hilarious." Adrien stated before grabbing Hugo's hand. "Let's go Hugo." Hugo nodded as they left Marinette's hospital room.
Lila walked into Philip's office. "Philip honey it's urgent that you get me a car or chauffeur. The head producer of marketing can't be seen without a car or chauffeur."
"What a coincidence that you came to ask me that I just found the perfect chauffeur for you and he's of all my trust." Philip said before gesturing to Francisco who was sitting across from him.
Francisco smiled as he stood up. "Nice to meet you Miss. Rossi, Francisco Garcia at your service." Lila looked at him up and down unimpressed.
"Okay Hugo, time for bed. I don't want your mommy getting mad at me tomorrow for letting you sleep late." Adrien said playfully as he tugged Hugo in his bed.
"Can you tell me a bedtime story?" Hugo asked him softly as he was hugging his cat stuffed animal.
"That's more of a thing your mommy is better at than me but I will try my best." Adrien replied before starting to tell Hugo the story of the three little pigs. Once Hugo was asleep Adrien smiled before kissing the top of his head.
The next morning Adrien woke up and was about to wake Hugo up when he saw that Hugo wasn't in his bed. "Not again I'm such a terrible father." Adrien was about to leave the hotel room to look for him when he saw that Hugo was at the balcony and Adrien sighed in relief as he walked over to him. "You almost scared me Hugo. What are you doing here?"
"Oh I woke up early and didn't want to wake you up daddy so I came to see the view." Hugo replied.
"Well your mommy will be back today. What do you want to do while we wait for her?" Adrien asked.
"Let's have breakfast then play soccer at the beach!" Hugo said happily. Soccer was Hugo's favorite thing to do; he was even in the junior soccer team of his school.
Adrien nodded. "Sounds like a plan to me."
When Marinette came back to the hotel from the hospital she found Adrien and Hugo playing soccer at the beach and she smiled as she watched them having a great time.
"With this computer code you'll be able to enter any computer system of the company." Jake told Philip on Monday as he handed him a CD.
Philip smirked. "Perfect, this is just what I needed."
Jake left and Francisco walked in frustrated. "I can't stand your mistress, little Miss. Rossi keeps making me go back and forth doing errands for her."
"Don't forget that the main reason I made you her chauffeur is so you can keep an eye on her." Philip stated.
Francisco nodded. "I know and that's what I'm doing but she hasn't done anything suspicious yet."
Marinette walked over to the reception. "Hey Alya is Adrien in his office?"
"Yes he's working with Nino and Edward." Alya replied.
Marinette nodded. "Alright I should probably go there now so I can finish putting my project together."
"Wait first you need to tell me how the trip went." Alya stated.
"Well it was fun though on the first day Hugo got lost and I got so worried and stressed that I passed out and I was taken to the hospital but luckily Hugo was found safe and sound while I was better by the next day." Marinette replied.
"Well at least everything turned out well. I can only imagine how you must've felt. I can't even think of what my reaction would be if Mayla or Kevin ever got lost." Alya stated and Marinette nodded.
Juleka suddenly walked over to them. "Hey girls."
"Juleka, what a pleasant surprise I didn't expect you to come today." Marinette said with a smile as she hugged her.
"I decided to come visit everyone but mainly to get Philip to have a day off so we can have a day to ourselves. He has been working so hard lately that I barely spend time with him." Juleka replied.
"Well everyone in this company will be happy to see you." Alya stated with a smile.
"Thanks so where's Philip?" Juleka asked.
"I think he's in his office but you should talk to Rose. She is his secretary and she knows more than I do." Alya replied and Juleka nodded.
Juleka walked into Philip's office and saw Lila there talking to him. "Hi Lila, how are you doing?"
"Hi Juleka, I'm doing fine. It's a pleasant surprise to see you in the company." Lila said with a fake smile.
"I came to visit everyone but I especially came to take my husband away from work. I made an appointment for us at the spa since he's been stressed out about work lately." Juleka stated while walking over to Philip and stands by his chair.
"I'm sure that will help him and can I just say Juleka you look better with your health." Lila replied.
"Thanks I have been doing everything the doctor has ordered and I have been feeling better." Juleka stated with a smile. "I'm glad you noticed it."
"How can I not if you're glowing with how healthy you are." Lila replied while hiding her irritation.
"Well let's go honey." Juleka said to Philip.
"Love I can't, I have to work." Philip replied.
"That's what you always say. I'm sure nothing bad will happen if you miss one day of work." Juleka stated.
"I really can't, I need to give your brother a financial update." Philip replied. "I promise we'll go next week."
"Philip I rarely ask you for anything and when I do you're always busy. I'm starting to reach the limit of my patience." Juleka stated before looking over at Lila. "Excuse me." She leaves the office.
"I think that the goth will explode soon and you know why? Because you're not making her happy." Lila said, mocking him. "And if you don't she might ask you for a divorce."
"I'm not in the mood for your mockery Lila, I'm fed off with everything. I'm fed up with Adrien Agreste with this project of his that actually might work and on top of everything I need to make my wife happy." Philip said, irritated.
Adrien suddenly walked into the office. "Lila, I need to talk to Philip. Can you please leave."
Lila nodded. "Sure." She stood up and left the office.
"Okay Mr. Finance, on Friday everyone was supposed to get their paycheck obviously Marinette and I didn't because we went on the business trip but can you explain to me why my team Nino and Edward didn't get paid on Friday? Not to mention that when Marinette went to get our paychecks a moment ago she wasn't allowed to get them." Adrien said sternly.
"Simple, your whole team paychecks will be frozen until you guys present your famous little project." Philip replied with a smirk.
"It's not a little project with this project the crisis of the company will be gone and the gains will be unimaginable." Adrien replied. "Plus it's particularly ready."
"I don't believe you and if it is I demand for you to show me." Philip commanded while standing up.
"Marinette is almost done and you'll see it today or no later than tomorrow." Adrien replied.
"It's incredible that you are letting an assistant be what will save this company." Philip replied with a laugh.
"Marinette isn't just any assistant, she's one of the reasons why this company was built in the first place and why you have a job right now." Adrien said with a smirk. "I should be the one demanding you to pay my team."
Luka walked into the office. "What's going on?"
"Luka, Philip has the paychecks of my team frozen because we haven't presented the project yet." Adrien replied.
Luka looked at Philip sternly. "Philip, that's against the policy of our company especially if I didn't authorize it. Make sure that Adrien's team gets paid immediately."
Philip sighs. "Yes Luka."
"Now Adrien, how's the project doing?" Luka asked Adrien.
"Good you should see it today or no later than tomorrow." Adrien replied.
Luka smiled. "Good that's what I like to hear."
Later Philip went to a jewelry store and he took Francisco with him. Philp brought a bracelet and a necklace but they were literally from the same set. "Why are you buying two pieces of jewelry from the same set?" Francisco asked.
"Because I need to make two women happy that make my life difficult." Philip replied. "So tell me what does Lila do all day? Where do you take her? Where do you bring her from?"
"Home to work and work to home not including the rare times she has business meetings." Francisco stated and Philip nodded.
"So how's work dear?" Emilie asked Adrien that night as they were sitting in his living room while Marinette was helping Hugo take a bath.
"Work is fine. My whole group is working hard on the project which will help the company out." Adrien replied with a smile.
"Well if Marinette worked on it for 6 years it must be great and I know that all of your hard work will pay off." Emilie stated returning the smile.
"Thanks mom." Adrien replied.
Marinette soon walked over to them. "Adrien, Hugo is waiting for us to tug him in bed." Adrien nodded before following her to Hugo's room.
"Dear, that's such a beautiful bracelet." Juleka said in adoration as Philip showed her the bracelet that he got for her.
"I'm glad that you like it. This is why I really couldn't go with you to the spa today. I had to get the bracelet at that time and I got this one because you deserve the best." Philip stated as he put the bracelet on her right wrist.
Juleka smiled softly. "Thanks for the bracelet Philip but I don't need you to buy me jewelry, perfumes or take me out to expensive fancy restaurants. All I need and want is your love."
"You do have that without a doubt." Philip replied with a fake smile.
"Maybe so but you don't show it anymore. You always come back from work tired, tense in a bad mood. This basically stopped being a marriage." Juleka stated softly.
Philip was going to hate and regret what he was about to do. He took both of her hands in his. "I do love you and tonight I'll show you how much."
"Wow, this necklace is amazing!" Lila said loving the necklace that Philip was putting around her the next day in her office. "All of my friends are going to envy me."
Philip smirked. "I'm glad that you liked it."
Adrien and Marinette walked in the company. "Okay I'll go get Nino and Edward so we can all meet up in my office to review the project before we present it to Luka."
Marinette nodded. "Okay." Adrien went in the elevator and headed to the second floor.
"That sounded promising. Did you finish putting your project back together?" Alya asked Marinette from the reception.
Marinette smiled and nodded as she showed Alya the booklet and CD she was holding in her hands. "Yea I finished last night."
"Girl, that's great! I'm sure everything will turn out great for you and for the company." Alya replied.
"I hope so." Marinette replied. "I'll see you during lunch." Alya nodded as Marinette got in the elevator and headed to the second floor. When she walked into Adrien's office the three men were waiting for her and Marinette started explaining her project idea to them.
"Wow I like it, it's an interesting idea that we haven't tried before." Adrien stated.
"Where did you get the idea from?" Nino asked.
"Well there are many people in the world that have the talent or skill to be a professional but they aren't able to because of money and/or other obstacles so with this we can give people the opportunity and be more diverse especially when talking about something cultural." Marinette replied.
"Well I'm sure Luka will love it. We should show it to him." Edward stated and everyone nodded.
Adrien walked into Luka's office with the rest of his team. "Luka we have the project ready for you."
Luka smiled standing up. "Great, let's see it."
Marinette handed him the booklet and CD as she started explaining the main concept of the project. "The main idea is obviously besides the main celebrity for the music videos and even cermercials we add people that aren't exactly part of the industry. For example for background dancers instead of hiring just professional dancers we hire dancers of the city either high school dancers or even street dancers too. Another example would be if we were doing a commercial or AD about farm life instead of hiring actors to pretend to be farmers we hire actual farmers and show what they actually do. This way we are more diverse, give anyone with the talent and skill the opportunity and be as real as we can be. I'm not saying that we need or will stop hiring actual models, actors and singers because obviously in music videos we need the actual celebrity performing but this way we can extend out more and we could start small by just the city of Paris then we could very soon do this internationally."
Luka listened to Marinette while looking through the booklet. Kagami was there too obviously and she was looking at the booklet too while standing next to Luka. "This is a great idea Luka, we should do it."
Luka nodded. "Yea I like it too and it doesn't hurt to try it out. Tell Alix to call Philip and Lila in here." Alix was Luka's and Kagami's secretary.
Kagami nodded and left the office before soon coming back in. "They're on their way."
Soon Philip and Lila walked in the office. "Did you call for us Luka?" Philip asked.
Luka nodded. "Yes Adrien and his team just handed me their project idea and I decided that we would do it." Luka started explaining what the project was about and both Lila and Philip hated it but they didn't say anything about it. "So for this project Marinette will be in charge of it so basically she's your boss and you'll have to talk to her about everything that goes on during the project in your area."
"What?! But she's only an assistant, we can't take orders from her." Lila basically exclaimed. The project was ridiculous to her but having to take orders from Marinette was the last straw for Lila.
"If I'm making Marinette the head of the project then you can and will absolutely take orders from her no matter what her overall position in the company is." Luka stated sternly.
"I'll be working directly by Marinette's side so if you don't want to take orders from her you will from me even though it will be basically coming from her." Kagami added.
"Don't worry Lila, I won't ask you to do anything that is above or lower than your job requirement. I'm sure that you'll be able to handle that." Marinette said with a smirk and Lila glared at her.
"How much will this whole project cost?" Philip asked.
"Right now it will barely cost the company any money since I put in the capital amount of money and we will start with just the city of Paris." Adrien replied.
"Either way Philip if you want you and I can make a financial analysis for the project." Luka added.
Philip nodded. "Yea I'll feel better that way."
"Alright, the rest of you can go back to work." Luka stated. "Oh and Marinette did a great job on the project."
"Thanks Luka." Marinette replied before leaving the office with everyone. The only ones left in the office were Luka Kagami and Philip.
After a few hours of working on the financial analysis Juleka suddenly walked into the office with a smile. "Am I interrupting something?"
"Juleka I'm so glad you came any longer with this business talk and I would have gotten crazy." Kagami said playfully as she hugged Juleka.
"And you're not interrupting you never do." Luka added as he walked over to Juleka and hugged her too. "I'm glad to see you."
"What a pleasant surprise dear." Philip said with his fake smile as he took her hand.
Juleka smiled and looked at Luka. "Look at what a beautiful bracelet Philip got me yesterday isn't he a sweetheart?"
Luka nodded. "It is beautiful."
"Phillip, that must've been expensive." Kagami stated.
"It was nothing to what Juleka deserves." Philip replied. "So what brings you here?"
"Well this time I really came to take you away from work and I won't accept a no as an answer." Juleka stated.
"Dear, you wouldn't believe the amount of work that we have." Philip replied.
"Luka, can I have permission to take my dear husband away please?" Juleka asked Luka with a sweet smile.
Luka chuckles. "You don't need my permission to take him out of work. You can do that whenever you want. After all, you are also the owner of this company. Go on, Philip, have fun with my sister, we can finish the analysis later. Family should always be on top of work."
"Thanks Luka I'll just go to the restroom and I'll be right back." Juleka stated before leaving the office.
"Philip, you're a great man. Thank you so much for making my sister so happy." Luka told him.
"No you have nothing to thank me for I do it with all my love." Philip replied lying through his teeth.
"I'm glad you turned out just like Adrien and I and not like the cheating husband types." Luka stated.
"I would never be unfaithful to Juleka." Philip replied.
"Good because if you ever cheat on Juleka she dies of a heart break but first I'll kill you." Luka said with a stern tone.
"And he's not joking when he says that." Kagami said from behind Luka. Philip nodded before leaving the office.
"Juleka it's a pleasure to see you -" Lila started as she walked in the restroom and saw Juleka but she quickly put her hands over her necklace when she saw Juleka's bracelet and acted as if she was in shock of how beautiful the bracelet was. "Wow what a beautiful bracelet."
"It's beautiful right? It's a gift from Philip." Juleka replied with a smile.
"Well he sure knows how to make a woman happy. It's breathtaking." Lila stated.
"Yea Philip knows exactly how to make me happy." Juleka replied.
"Well congratulations you two are a great example especially during this time where morals don't seem to exist anymore, that marriages still work." Lila stated. "I mean the marriages of Agreste, Couffaine and even Lahiffe are great examples of that too."
"Thanks Lila and I really hope that you find a man one day that knows how to treat you right." Juleka replied with a smile before leaving the restroom.
Lila let her hands go to her side and she was angry. "You're a jerk Philip."
Juleka bumped into Adrien in the lobby. "Hi Juleka, I'm glad to see you. How are you?"
"I'm good, how are you?" Juleka asked. "And Marinette and Hugo?"
"I'm good Luka accepted Marinette's project so we'll work on that and my family is doing fine, nothing to complain here." Adrien stated with a smile.
Juleka nodded with a smile. "I'm glad that everything is going well with you. I need to go, Philip and I are going to have a day together."
"Oh, have fun." Adrien replied.
"Thanks." Juleka stated before walking away.
Lila stormed into Philip's office. "You don't have limits Philip, how could you give me and the goth jewelry from the same set? Not only is it a risk for her to find out about us but you are also putting me on the same level as her and I'm way better than her!"
Philip stood up from his chair and gave her a cold look. "Calm down Lila Juleka can come in at any second and hear you. Plus I won't let you speak to me like that."
"And I won't let you treat me like this." Lila said sternly. "It's enough that I have to deal with you being with her but this is the last straw."
"At least she's my wife from all the laws." Philip said, mocking Lila.
"Well I don't want this necklace anymore you can have it back." Lila said before taking the necklace off and handing it back to Philip.
At that moment the door was opening and Philip quickly put the necklace in a drawer as Juleka walked into the office. "Oh hi Lila, Philip are you ready to go?"
"Yes bye Lila." Philip said before walking over to Juleka and they both left leaving Lila there and she stormed her foot angrily.
"Mommy daddy you guys are coming to my soccer game on Saturday right?" Hugo asked Marinette and Adrien as they were having dinner that night.
"Of course we are, we wouldn't miss it for anything in the world." Adrien stated.
"Your grandma Sabine and grandpa Tom are even going to close the bakery for a couple of hours that day so they can go to your game too." Marinette added.
"Yay! Are grandma Emilie and grandpa Gabriel also coming daddy?" Hugo asked Adrien with hope.
"Well your grandma Emilie is coming but your grandpa Gabriel said that he isn't sure if he's going to be able to make it but that he would try." Adrien replied.
Hugo was sad. "I hope that he can make it."
Adrien nodded. "Me too."
Philip and Juleka just got home when his phone rang so he answered knowing it was Lila. "Hello…Yes…Yes of course…no problem I will tomorrow…okay bye." He hangs up.
"Who was it?" Juleka asked.
"Someone from the company told me that I forgot something in the office and I told them that I would get it tomorrow." Philip replied and Juleka nodded.
"So I heard from Adrien that Luka liked Marinette's project and now you guys will work on it. I bet it's an amazing project." Juleka stated.
"It's alright nothing special." Philip replied.
"I'm sure it is if Luka is hoping to recover from the Lindo Sparks fiasco with it." Juleka stated.
The rest of the week went by very quickly and soon it was Saturday the day of Hugo's game. Adrien and Marinette took Hugo to the game and they met up with Marinette's parents and Adrien's parents both of them since Gabriel did go.
"Grandpa Gabriel, you made it!" Hugo said happily as he hugged Gabriel.
Gabriel hugged back. "Of course, I wouldn't miss my only grandson's soccer game."
Adrien mumbled. "Yet you missed important events of your only son."
Emilie walked over to Hugo. "Have a great game Hugo, we are all proud of you."
"I'm sure that you'll hit the goal that will have your team win the game." Tom said proudly.
"And remember no matter what the outcome of the game is to always have fun." Sabine added and Hugo nodded with a bright smile.
The game soon started and the whole family cheered on for Hugo and his team. In the end Hugo scored the winning goal and the whole family stood up clapping in excitement for him.
"I knew that he would score the winning goal, he's a Dupain after all." Tom said proudly.
"Actually he's an Agreste and that's why he succeeded." Gabriel stated.
The two men started to argue about if Hugo is more of an Agreste or Dupain as Marinette and Adrien glanced at each other amused at their fathers silly debate.
"Men he's both an Agreste and a Dupain that's why he succeeded." Sabine stated.
"Yea because Hugo got the best qualities of both his parents." Emilie added.
"Yes you're right." Tom stated and Gabriel nodded.
The family went over to Hugo and hugged him. "Did you guys see? I made the winning goal!"
"Yes we saw and we are so proud of you." Marinette stated with a smile.
"Yea but we would have been proud of you even if you lost because we could see that you were having fun." Adrien added before picking Hugo up. "Now let's go celebrate!"
"Yea!" Hugo cheered. The whole family went to Adrien and Marinette's house to celebrate. "Daddy don't forget about the father and child field day that is coming up at school."
"Don't worry Hugo I didn't forget you and I will have a lot of fun together and I bet we'll win first place in every game." Adrien replied with a smile.
"Yay. Are you coming to watch?" Hugo asked Marinette and his grandparents.
"Of course I will." Marinette replied.
"We sadly can't make it. It's a weekday and the bakery is always busy on weekdays." Sabine stated.
"But have fun for us." Tom added.
"I'll try to go but I have to film another scene for the new movie that day." Emilie replied.
"I'll be busy with work." Gabriel added and Hugo nodded.
Later that day Emilie went to the store when a man suddenly walked over to her. "Hi my daughter is a big fan of yours and I was wondering and hoping if you could give me your autograph for her." The man asked while taking a picture of Emilie out and a pen.
"Sure it would be my pleasure." Emilie said with a smile as she took the pen and signed the picture.
"Thank you so much." The man said before walking away.
The man walked to a corner and met up with another man that was waiting for him. "Did you get it Francisco?"
Francisco nodded, giving the man the autograph. "Yes Philip here it is. It was easy celebrities are so naive."
Philip looked at the autograph with a smirk. "The important thing is that you got the signature of Adrien's mother. How's the documents I asked you for going along?"
"That's where we are going to have problems Philip." Francisco stated.
"Why?" Philip asked.
"A lot of time is needed if you want them to look perfect." Francisco stated. "Especially if you want them to look legal."
"It's urgent for me to have them as soon as possible, Francisco." Philip replied. "Would the process go faster with more money?"
"Now we're talking differently. You know how things are with making fake documents." Francisco stated.
"Shh discretion." Philip hissed before handing Francisco money.
"With this they'll be ready by tomorrow." Francisco stated. "What time do you want them?"
Hugo was playing video games in his room sitting on the couch when Adrien walked in carrying a tray with a bowl of popcorn and three milkshakes. "Hugo, I have the snacks."
Hugo paused the game and walked over to him. "I can carry it daddy." Hugo tried to grab the tray from Adrien.
Adrien didn't let him. "No Hugo it's too heavy you might drop it."
"But I can do it." Hugo and Adrien basically started doing tug a war with the tray but that led them to drop the tray and the milkshakes along with the popcorn spilled all over the floor and on them.
Marinette walked in and looked at them in shock. "It was his fault." Adrien and Hugo said at the same time as they pointed to each other.
Marinette couldn't help but giggle at them. "This isn't what I was thinking about when you guys said you wanted a family game night. Adrien, go take a shower I'll help Hugo take a bath and then I'll clean up the mess and make the snacks again."
"Sure thing honey but for the record it was Hugo's fault." Adrien said playfully as he started to leave the room.
"No it wasn't, it was daddy's fault." Hugo exclaimed with a smile.
"I wasn't the one trying to take the tray away from me!" Adrien called out as he left the room.
"It doesn't matter who is at fault, the only thing that matters is that this mess is cleaned up." Marinette said before taking Hugo to his bathroom so he could take a bath and as Hugo was taking a bath Marinette cleaned the mess in the room before going back to the kitchen to remake the snacks again.
Adrien walked over to her after he took a shower. "Your son is stubborn just like you."
"Oh so he's only my son when he's stubborn eh?" Marinette asked playfully. "I hate to break it to you Adrien but you're stubborn too."
"No, I am not, name one time that I was ever stubborn." Adrien said acting hurt. Marinette started naming all the times Adrien was ever stubborn and Adrien playfully glared at her. "Alright alright I get it I guess he got it from both of us."
"Mhm but mainly from you." Marinette said playfully as she picked up the tray of snacks. "I'm going to take this because I don't trust you or Hugo anymore when it comes to snacks."
"I would be offended by that comment but after what happened earlier I don't blame you." Adrien said with a chuckle as he walked with Marinette back to Hugo's room.
"How was your evening dear." Gabriel asked Emilie as she walked in the house.
"Well I went to buy some things and I was asked by a man to give him my autograph for his daughter, so pretty normal." Emilie replied.
"Well I'm glad that you had a good evening." Gabriel stated.
Alya was with her 8 year old daughter Mayla and her 5 year old son Kevin in the living room when Nino walked over to them. "Hey guys why don't we go watch a movie then eat out for dinner tonight how does McDonald's sound?"
"Yea! Can we mommy?" Both kids asked Alya with puppy eyes.
Alya smiled. "Of course we can but you two need to go change first." The two kids ran to their rooms. "You sure do know how to make them happy."
"Of course I do, after all they are my kids." Nino said playfully and Alya laughed softly.
On Monday Adrien and his team started working on the big project. Meanwhile Jake walked into Philip's office. "What is the important thing that you had to tell me?" Philip asked. "Is Adrien and his lame team advancing on the project?"
"Yes but that's not what I came to tell you sir." Jake replied. "Mr. Agreste is adding all the money from his last paycheck in the account he has for his son."
"Hm all the money huh? This could work in my favor especially for my plan." Philip said with a smirk. "Do you have something else to tell me?"
"No sir, that's all." Jake said before leaving the office.
Philip's office phone rang and he answered. "Hello?"
"Mr. Gain first I want to thank you for forgiving me for my outburst the other day and for giving me the necklace again. Second, I need you to come to my office. I have something to say to you." Lila said on the other line with a sly smile and even though he couldn't see her he knew what she was doing.
"Fine, I'm on my way." Philip replied before hanging up. "It better be important Lila." He stands up and leaves his office. Just at that moment Philip's phone rang and he answered knowing who it was. "Hi dear."
"Hi honey, am I interrupting something?" Juleka asked from the other line.
"No, not at all. What do you need, love?" Philip asked.
"You left so early today without even eating breakfast that you didn't give me the chance to tell you something I was thinking about for a while." Juleka stated.
"What idea do you have in your pretty little head dear?" Philip asked with a fake sweet tone.
"Well I made an important decision." Juleka replied. "It is-"
"Juleka, you know that whatever decisions you make you have my support." Philip said wanting to get rid of her as soon as possible.
"Let me explain to you -" Juleka started again.
"No, that's not necessary. I already told you that you have my support with whatever it is." Philip replied.
"Well there's no doubt that I have the best husband ever, love you." Juleka said before blowing a kiss on the line.
"Love you too." Philip lied before hanging up.
Philip sighed in relief and continued walking to Lila's office. He bumped into Adrien though. "Adrien Agreste, what an unpleasant encounter. How are you doing with your ridiculous project?"
"My ridiculous project you say? Well first of all it isn't ridiculous and second of all it's not mine it's Marinette's and this project is going to do wonders for this company. This is why I'm the head vice president and your boss. Now if you excuse me I have work to do because unlike others I actually do work." Adrien stated with a smirk before walking away.
"You won't be head vice president for long Adrien Agreste, count on that." Philip mumbled with a smirk before going to Lila's office.
Juleka walked in the company and to the reception. "Hi Alya."
"Juleka girl, it's great to see you." Alya said as she stood up and walked around her desk to hug her. "What brings you here today?"
"That's a surprise. I need to talk to Luka and Philip first before I tell you or anyone else." Juleka replied as she broke the hug. "Is Philip in his office?"
"I don't know if Philip is in his office. You will have to ask Rose but I do know that Luka is in his office." Alya stated before going back to her seat.
Juleka nodded. "Okay I'll go see Luka first then but first tell me how are the kids?" Juleka asked.
"They are doing well. Mayla is in third grade and Kevin is in kindergarten now." Alya stated with a smile. "They are just as energetic as their father."
"I bet it's hard to believe that they are already that big." Juleka stated. "And Hugo, Marinette and Adrien's son, is 6 now, right going to first grade?" Alya nodded. "Time goes by so fast I wish that I was able to have kids."
"I'm sure that you will have them one day after all you're still in your 20s. You are still young to be able to have kids and you are getting better with your health." Alya replied.
Juleka nodded. "You're right the doctor did tell me during my last check up that unlike before I am in conditions to be able to have kids. Maybe the miracle of me being able to have kids will come sooner than I think."
"Does Philip want to have kids?" Alya asked.
Juleka nodded. "It was one of the first things we talked about after getting married. Since with my bad health it was very unlikely that I would be able to have kids and he has always told me that even though he wishes for us to have kids he would be happy with me no matter if we have kids or not." Juleka replied with a smile not knowing that it was a lie from Philip.
"Well don't lose hope." Alya stated.
"I won't. Are Adrien and Marinette here?" Juleka asked.
"Yes they are working on Marinette's project." Alya replied. "Everyone is excited about the project. Well everyone except for Lila who isn't happy that she needs to take orders from Marinette because Luka put her in charge of the project and you know how they can't stand each other."
"I know and I can kinda understand Marinette. Even though I'm always nice to Lila she always gives me a bad vibe for some reason." Juleka stated
Alya nodded. "Yea I feel it too and Marinette says that she feels it too but maybe it's just us. It could be just how her attitude is but she's a good person anyway."
Juleka nodded. "Maybe you're right it could just be the way she represents herself. Well I'm going to go see Luka now, see you later." Juleka replied. Alya waved goodbye to her. Juleka waved bye back as she went to the elevator and then pressed the button to the second floor. Alya was curious about what the surprise could be as she saw the elevator doors closed.
