Switched (Part 3)

(Back Ria...)

Meanwhile, back at the shack Waddles was rolling around on the carpet in the new room. Ria was nearby, vacuuming. She turning off the vacuum, she looks over at the pig.

"Waddles, you've got it good." she said. "I mean, no one thinks it's cute when I lie naked on the living room floor. I wish I could be a pig."

She scratched Waddles' belly, and with a ZAP they switch! Ria sat up, looking around.

"Yes!" She cheered. "I should do out loud wishing more often." She sniffed the air using Waddles' nose.

"Is that a corn cob I smell?" She crawled over the couch and out the window. "I got little legs."

Waddles looked around the room, confused now that he is in Ria's body. He attempted to walk out the door, but bumped into the wall three times before succeeding. He walked out to the gift shop, looking at the vending machine. He licked the glass and accidentally knocks over the postcard stand.

"Hey Ria," Dan said, walking into the gift shop. "Have you seen my-"

He looked at Waddles in Ria's body. Waddles chewed on a t-shirt, staring at Dan.

"Uh, I'll come back later," Dan said nervously, quickly leaving.

Meanwhile, Ria was walking through town in Waddles' body. "I wonder what frolicking adventures I'll stumble into," she said before coming across a mud puddle. "A mud puddle! Do I dare live out the cliché?" She jumped into the puddle, laughing as Crazy Chiu walked around the corner.

"Chiu, Chiu, Chiu," she said. She gasped upon seeing Ria "Wow!"

"Haha, I'm a pig!" Ria laughed, rubbing mud over the pig's body. "Oink, oink, ami'right?"

"Free meal!" Crazy Chiu said, pulling a fork and knife out of her hair. Ria turned around upon seeing her shadow.

"No, wait! Don't eat me!" Ria cried. "I'm a woman trapped in a pig's body!"

"That's what they all say," Crazy Chiu laughed. Ria ran off and Chiu chased after her.

"Help! Someone!" Ria yelled. They passed by Deputy Durland and Sheriff Blubs, who were sitting on the sidewalk. Durland looks up from his newspaper astounded.

"A witch chasing a talking pig!" Blubs gasped.

"My horoscope came true," Durland said.

"Ooh, read mine!" Blubs said.

"Haha, what're you, a Gemini?" Durland asked with a smile.

"You knew?" Blubs smiled back.

"Of course, I knew," Durland chuckled.

(Back With Stan)

Stan ran down the hallway. "Bro? Where are you?" he and the others had been looking for Ford for about five minutes now, with no success. "Look I know you're still mad, but you don't have to be. I'm giving up the room!" He shouted, hoping that would do it.

Nothing.

"Did you find him?" Cooper asked.

"No, I yelled defeat at the top of my lungs." Stan said. "If he was in here, he'd be screaming victory."

"Then where could he be?" Heather asked as she walked back in herself.

"He finished the Golf Cart, where there any other chores outside?" Cooper asked.

"Well besides painting the house, Grauntie Mabel asked us to take the trashcans to the end of the road."

"He must be there!" Susan declared.

The team runs back outside in a huff since the shack was further away from the main road it would have been easy to miss Ford. Stan just hoped he wasn't spewing Trash all over the yard now that would be taking things a bit too far. Then again, he did deface the golf cart. Which wasn't something

Ford would usually do, come to think of it being the responsible twin wasn't something Stan usually did either. Oh Man, were they adopting each other's personalities? Was he slowly turning into FORD!

"There he is!" Bud shouted as he pointed at Ford in the distance. He was dragging a trashcan to the curb, and he was doing it very poorly at that. Worse still, just as Stan feared trash was falling out of the can as Ford allowed it to tip this way and that.

"Ford, will you quit it already?!" Stan screamed.

Ford abandons the can and runs for it, there was no way he was going to keep all of them from forcing him back into that room. For a moment he wonders why he is being so rash, this wasn't like him, but he was tiered of Stan always getting what he wanted. For once, he wanted his brother to know just how much crap he put him through.

"Ford? Hey wait, come back!" Fids, Heather, Susan, Bud, and Stan race after him.

Mabel watches out from the window and sighs, why couldn't they get along? She glances at the hat in her hand. The white and blue head ordainment sported a blue pine tree, she gripped it in her hands tightly. Who was she kidding? She knew exactly why the kids didn't get along; it was in their blood.

"What am I supposed to do?" She asked the hat as if it would know the answer. "You would know what to do." She fought back tears. "You always knew what to do."

The phone rings, snapping her out of her fit.

She picks it up. "Hello? Oh, hey Filbrick, how's things?" Of course, Ford's and Stan's father would chose now of all times to call.

"Fine, everything is fine." He said. "Luckily all the evidence on Caryn is circumstantial at best, no one ever bothered to record her over the phone."

"Well, that's good." Mabel thought as she shoved moved to the vending machine and punched in the secret code. "Would you like to talk to the boys?" She knew what he would say the moment she asked, which is why she didn't bother to turn around, but just kept walking into the secret door.

"Not at the moment, very busy." Filbrick said as the door closed behind her. "The boys are behaving, yes?"

Mabel couldn't help the smile as she entered the elevator. "What? Of course, they're little angels I honestly don't know what you were so worried about."

"Right." He said, as unimpressed as ever.

The elevator doors open, and she enters the control room, placing the hat next to a new picture of

Ford and Stan. Mabel smiled at it fondly, these boys had already changed her life so much.

"Well, I've got to get going, tell the boys we send our love, and we'll see them soon." Filbrick said.

"I will, goodbye now." Mabel said and hung up.

She looks up from the picture and takes in the large structure before her its triangle like shape stared back at her, reminding her of the greatest evil she had ever known. Mabel felt a shiver crawl down her spine as she began to remember...NO! She would not go there, she still had too much to do to let her mind wonder. She looks back down at the picture and then the hat. "I can't wait for you to meet them."

She said as she turned and walked away. "They remind me so much of us." She admitted.

Wondering if the fact was actually a good thing.

(Back Ria...)

This didn't look so good; Ria shook to her core as Crazy Chiu had backed her up into an ally.

"I'm gonna make you into bacon," Crazy Chiu said.

"Oh, that sounds pretty good," Ria said, then realized. "No wait, I mean NOOOOOOOOOOO!"

She dives through the woman's legs and runs back towards the shack.

(Back at the Shack...)

In the gift shop, Waddles is still walking around in Ria's body. He grabbed a box of tissues and began to eat them. At that moment a man walked into the shack, looking at a map.

"Can you help me?" He asked. "I'm looking for directions."

Waddles looked at the open door and oinked happily. He stumbled out the door.

"Oh, you'll show me the way?" The man asked. "How sweet!"

He ran after Waddles just a boy rushes past him and into the Shack.

Ford had been running all around the yard like crazy, trying to lose his pursuers but they just kept coming.

"Hey, come back!" Stan yelled, chasing after him. Ford ran into the room, locking the door behind him.

Stan banged on the door. "Open the door, Stanley! I mean... Ford." He groaned, this wasn't good, he called his brother Stanley, but he was Stan! Worse he said Stanley, just like Ford did when he was mad at him.

"This is bad!" Heather realized.

"You're turning into each other." Susan pointed out the obvious.

"That's creepy." Cooper voiced fearfully.

"Yes, but it just might be our answer." Fids said thinking out loud.

"What ya thinking?" Bud asked.

"Well, if Stan is acting like Ford, than Ford is acting like Stan, so what would Stan do right now?"

Everyone looks at Stan.

San thinks for a moment, what would it take to get a Stan to open this door? He smiled and knocked once firmly. "Ford Aunt Mabel wants to give you the keys." He lied. "She said you won fair and square."

Ford, who was laying on the floor in HIS new room scoffed. "Do you really think I'd fall for-?"

"Ford!" Mabel's voice called out from downstairs.

Wait, he wasn't making it up! Grauntie Mabel just called his name! She was going to give him the key

"YES" Ford said happily, opening the door. "In your...face?" He stops as he sees Stan, smiling evilly.

Worse their friends were there, each of them moving in to bounce.

"NO!" Ford tried to close the door, but it was too late, they tackled him holding him down as Stan walked over, dragging his feet on the carpet. "Great work Guys, Now let me add one. Final. Touch."

He poked Ford's, no, his own nose, and the twins switched back into their own bodies. Everyone rubbed at their eyes, confused at the sudden light.

"Ah, my own body," Stan smiled as he got to his feet.

Ford blinks repeatedly, man that felt even weirder the second time around, he looks up at his brother angrily. "You tricked me, Stanley, Mabel didn't give me the room at all.

"No, she didn't." Stan admitted as he sat down beside him. "Look bro I get it I do, being you is so much harder than I realized.

Ford raised a brow. "What are you talking about?"

"I talking about how we both ruined Grauntie Mable's Stuff and only I-I mean only you, Ford got in trouble." Stan admitted. "I never realized how much you put up with when it comes to me."

Ford sighed as the anger seemed to deflate out of him. "Oh man I can't believe we ruined the shack.

"And the golf cart." Cooper added. "Plus, you broke-"

"We get it!" Ford and Stan said in unison, before laughing.

"So, we all good?" Susan asked.

Ford looked at Stan and smiled. "Yeah, we're good." Everyone goes into a hug, but Ford frowns as he sees everyone's hair sticking on end. "WAIT!"

Everyone freezes.

"We should probably touch the door handle or something before we touch each other." He advises.

"Oh right." Stan jokes.

Everyone laughs as they get up.

"Good thing you warned us." Cooper said because that would have been a-"

"HELP!" Ria suddenly runs into the room in Waddles' body with Crazy Chiu hot on her heels,

"Come back! I wanna deep fry your ears!" Crazy Chiu yelps as she trips on the rug, knocking into Bud. In seconds everyone switched bodies multiple times as they bump into each other in a domino effect.

"No!" Stan cried. He was a HEATHER!

"Haha! I am guy now!" Heather laughed. She looked over her new body. "Well, our plan was poorly thought out." She admitted.

"I told you guys I would not be happy if I got swapped!" Cooper's voice growled from Ford's mouth.

Ford who is stuck in Bud's body laughs. "Ha poetic justice!"

"I'll show you justice!" Cooper yelled tackling Ford.

"Guys, stop fighting!" Fids cried from Cooper's body. He and the others tried to pull them apart, but they ended up swapping bodies again. Now Ford was in Cooper's body, Fids was in Heather's body, and Stan was back in Ford's body.

"Aw, man!" Ford said. "Then again, I like having at least a little muscle."

"Hey I have muscle!" Stan said slightly outraged.

"Not as much as me." Cooper joked.

"Wow, I feel like such a midget," Fids said, seeing how the others were taller than him.

"Welcome to my world," Heather folded Stan's arms. "At least you're not an old lady."

"Woah, I'm old," Heather said in Crazy Chiu's body.

"Whoo-hoo! I've regained my innocence!" Chiu laughed, dancing around in Susan's body.

"This body is like, the exact opposite of my old one," Ria said now in Bud's body.

Well, I guess I'm a pig now," Bud sighed in Waddles' body. "So, I guess that's a thing." He grabbed an apple core and started eating it.

"Ok listen," Ford said. "Everybody swap back." The all started building up electricity. "In three... two..."

Just then, Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durland show up at the door.

"We got reports of excessive giggling," Blubs said, as they run in bumping into the group causing Chiu and Ford's bodies to be swapped with the two cops.

"Woah, what the-?" Blubs said in Chiu's body.

"What's happening to me?!" Durland screamed in Ford's body. He ran into a wall, screaming.

"Ooh, I'm a cop now," Heather said, looking in the mirror at Blubs's body.

"Let's go solve some crimes!" Fids giggled in Durland's body.

"Guys, can we please focus?" Ford ask, getting a headache Man this was hard to keep up with.

Everyone nodded, and they all started building up electricity again before grabbing each other's hand, switching them all back.

"Ford?" Stan spoke. "Are you-you?"

"Yeah. I'm me," Ford smiled, relieved. "Guys?" He asked the others. Everyone nodded to overwhelm to speak.

"What is going on in here?" Mabel asked.

Ford looks up and sighs. "Sorry Aunt Mabel, Stanley and I were just discussing the mess we've made of our chores."

"Yeah." Stan agreed. "Maybe we're just not ready for our own rooms."

Mabel feels a smile forming on her face as the boys nod at each other. "Well, that's a very grown up decision. You kids may not be ready for separate rooms, but I think you made progress all the same."

"Thanks Aunt Mabel." Ford said.

"Yeah, thanks." Stan agreed.

"So, if neither of you are getting it, than what's going to happen to this room?" Bud asked.

"Well, I was thinking." Ford said. "Ria how would you like this to be your official break room?"

Ria smiled. "I would like that very much. Also I am so glad I am no longer a pig."

"I will still eat you," Crazy Chiu said, rising up behind Ria with a fork and knife.

"Ok Lady, that's enough of that," Ford said, as he and the cops usher her on out. Him and Stan

"Move along, weird old lady," Stan said. Waddles walked under Ria's foot. She looked down at him.

"Heh, I guess being a pig isn't all that great after all," she said. "Hey, let me get that spot you can never reach."

She scratched the top of Waddles' head, and he grunted happily. The doorbell rang and Ria went to answer it. Standing outside was the man from earlier.

"Hey, I've been thinking," the man said. "And the answer is yes! I will marry you!"

"W-wait, I don't remember anything about-" Ria began, but was cut off by the man kissing her. She shrugged, returning the kiss.

Meanwhile, the kids set to work cleaning up their mess, it takes a few days, but finally everything is as it should be.

"And, there," Stan said as he finishes repainting the shack.

"Hey kids should we keep this rug?" Mabel asked from inside.

"Get rid of it," Stan told her.

"Burn it with fire!" Heather screamed.

"It's not that ugly." Mabel laughed.

"Fire!" Everyone yelled.

"Haha, alright, alright I get it." Mabel laughed dragging the carpet outside. Stan sighed happily, as he looked to Ford who was finishing the golf cart.

"Looking good Sixer." He praised.

"You too." Ford says.

At that same moment in the new brake room, Ria and the man were sitting on the couch.

"Is something wrong?" the man was saying. "You just seem so different."

"Look, I'm playing a little bit of catch up here," Ria explained. "I was in a pig's body for most of the day.

Wha- what's going' on?"

The man looked at her. "Can we kiss again? Is- is that an option?" he asked.

Ria shook her head. "You are really nice, but you are right, I am different."

"I appreciate the honesty." The man said, and gives her hand a kiss before he gets up. "I will never forget you. Goodbye."

The kids watch as he leaves.

"Okay does anyone else know what the heck that guy is doing here?" Fids asked.

Everyone shrugs as the sun sets on another perfect day.
