Taking place shortly after my fanfic "The Story Of Helping", these stories centers around Shower, a pegasus pony, and Fergus, a unicorn pony. It tells the stories of their romantic relationship.

7. Rescuing A Problem

Rescuing A Problem

After leaving the 'island' the three ponies continued to sail on the ocean. "This time, we are in control!" said Fergus, "Well, not really." "We know," said Shower, "But." "We must sail on," said Hercules, "And something off the port side!" "What?" Fergus and Shower called out together.

They saw something unsual in the ocean. "Oh," said Fergus. The three ponies saw the unicorn pony named Smarty Nerd in a sailboat. A poorly made one at that.

"Oh boy," said Hercules, "That scallywag is in trouble now." "You're right," said Fergus.

As soon as they said that, Smarty Nerd's boat finally collapsed and it began to sink into the sea. "Help me!" Smarty Nerd gurgled. "Oh dear," Fergus said.

Quickly, Shower flew over to where the boat had sunken and pulled Smarty Nerd out of the water. Then she brought him safely to Hercules' boat. "Do you think he's okay?" Fergus asked. Immediately, Smarty Nerd woke up and acted tough. "Hey!" he said. He stormed onto his four hooves.

"We've asked are you okay?" Fergus said. "Heh!" Smarty Nerd said boastfully, "I can take care of myself all the time!" "Like back there?" Hercules asked. "Yes!" Smarty Nerd said, "I don't need help from the likes of you! Not even you!" Shower was shocked. "Hey!" she replied.

"My girlfriend just saved your life, you idiot!" Fergus shouted, "That's the way you're going to repay her?!" "I don't need anyone's help!" Smarty Nerd said, "I can take care of myself all the time! In fact-"

A strange object floated by Hercules' boat. "Uh, guys?" Hercules said. "In fact," Smarty Nerd said, "I'm leaving this wreck! Goodbye and good riddance!" "Wait a minute!" Shower said. Too late as Smarty Nerd jumped onto the mysterious object.

"I see the problem!" Hercules called out. All three ponies saw a familiar fin on the object. They all knew what it is. Then Smarty Nerd realized his mistake.

He had thought he had landed on a whale, but then, he realized that he had not landed on a whale, but a shark instead, which is hungry. "Uh oh," Smarty Nerd said, "WHAT! Whoa!" the shark tried to eat Smarty Nerd. This time, he swam away fast, with the shark chasing after him.

"He'll learn eventually," said Hercules. "Not really," said Fergus. "Oh well," said Hercules. And with that, the three continued on their way out onto the ocean.

As for Smarty Nerd, he did get away from that shark safely. Not really of course.
