Chapter 7 Dino Battle

Sora groaned as he laid on the ground of a dark cavern with Riku, Donald, Goofy, Pogo, Gori, Beru, Zaki, and the Kuu Chief. The ground had some weird moss on it that had softened the fall a little bit, so no one was seriously injured. Sora got up and looked around the dark cavern taking notice of all the human and animal bones scattered around. The others started to get up as the air was filled with a loud roar that was very close by. The ground began to shake as the sound of enormous footfalls filled the air.
The Kuu Chief stumbled to his feet and went racing towards the sound of the approaching steps. He believed because of his faithfulness and loyalty to Odo, he would be spared and he would present the others to Odo as a sacrifice. It didn't matter that Zaki was among them, the warrior had failed to stop the intruders and lost a fight with a child, so he deserved to be punished for his failures. The Kuu Chief's main concerns were surviving and pleasing his deity. Soon Odo appeared before the Kuu Chief.
Odo was an enormous adult Tyrannosaurus rex. He had dark brown scales with pale tan stripes on his body and tail while his underbelly was of a pale gray color. Odo's left eye was completely orange and his right eye was crossed by a big scar..
"Odo! Odo!" Said The Kuu Chief happily as he got on his knees and bowed repeatedly before the dinosaur.
Odo studied The Kuu Chief for a few seconds. The Kuu Chief looked up at Odo with joy and hopefulness. Odo then let out a roar and lashed out with his jaws wide open.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Screamed The Kuu Chief as he was instantly devoured and his life snuffed out by the deity he had worshiped for most of his life.
Sora and the others winced at this and The Kuu Chief's headdress went flying though the air and landed near Zaki's feet. Zaki stared down at the headdress in a mix of sadness, shock, and rage. Odo let out another roar as he approached the others.
"This is the source of the evil in this era." Said Sora as he readied his keyblade.
"I can feel a great sense of darkness and hate coming off this guy." Said Riku.
"We need to put a stop to him!" Said Goofy.
"Right!" Said Donald.
A dark aura emitted from Odo before he roared and charged forward. Sora and Riku dodged out of the way as Donald, Goofy, and Gori tried to rush the Dino from behind, but he whipped his tail at the trio and sent them flying back. Sora leaped high into the air and delivered a couple of blows to Odo's head, but the dinosaur recovered and retaliated with a headbutt knocking Sora to the ground. Odo tried to stomp on Sora, but he quickly rolled out of the way to avoid getting stomped on. Riku fired some dark blasts at Odo striking him in the head and chest making him stagger back. Sora and Riku both charged forward and delivered a few combo attacks to Odo making him stagger back. Odo recovered and swung his head into the two teens knocking them away. Pogo charged in and struck Odo's right eye making him roar in pain, before he headbutted the little cave boy knocking him to the ground. Odo approached the down cave boy and had his mouth wide open to devour him.
"Pogo!" Cried Beru in dismay.
Odo swung at Pogo, but Zaki leaped in from the side and stabbed Odo's left eye causing the dinosaur to rear backwards roaring in pain! Pogo looked up at Zaki in shock as he offered Pogo, his hand and helped him up.
"Kuu Tribe no sever Odo anymore!" Declared Zaki.
Pogo and Zaki leaped forward and attacked Odo together inflicting some damage on the big dinosaur. Odo tried to retaliate, but Goofy flung his shield at him, Donald fired a thunder spell, and Gori threw a rock at him that struck the big dinosaur making him reel back as he took more damage. Sora and Riku joined Pogo and Zaki as they all attacked Odo together inflicting a great deal of damage. Odo staggered back unsteadily from the heroes. He let out one last roar and then he collapsed to the ground dead!
"We did it!" Cheered Sora.
"The evil of this era has been dealt with." Said Riku as he watched a dark mist exit from Odo's body and vanished.
Pogo cheered as he and Beru kissed. It was a happy victory.
