A few hundred years into the Third Age, Lord Cirdan of the Grey Havens sends an elleth named Elluin and her family to Greenwood the Great to make their home under King Thranduil. They bear a prophecy that hints at fruition when Elluin, now a servant in the palace, finds herself falling in love with the troubled Elvenking.

As an Elleth trying to help save Middle Earth, I was far too busy to be looking for romance. Despite this, I ended up finding it with someone I would never have expected. Stolen from her family and given a new name an elf maiden is raised in the service of the Dark Lord. Aica's earliest memories are of pain, as she was trained to become Sauron's deadliest weapon: A silent assassin. Raised and trained in secret she will begin a journey that will help decide the fate of Middle Earth, and perhaps her own. Eventual Legolas/ OFC. This is a rewrite.
