The Spring Festival marks the beginning of the season in London. The debutante were presented in society while young lords from Oxford and Cambridge participated in games to entertain the Queen and her guests.
Kathani was dressed in white and golden gown that morning as her mother in law fussed over her dress and straightened her tiara. "This is so exciting! I cannot believe the Queen demanded a special presentation to introduce you in front of her court."
Kathani nervously wring her hands as she tries to keep her breathing in control. "Please make sure I would not stumble in front of everyone."
Violet smiles assuredly as she promise. "Do not worry my child, I will hold on to you until this Presentation is done."
They both walked towards the door and then they heard a loud voice from inside announcing their names.
"The esteemed Dowager Viscountess, Lady Violet Bridgerton is presenting the new Viscountess! Lady Kathani Bridgerton!"
The grand double doors were opened and Kathani stepped inside the court room where entire nobility was standing on both sides.
She saw surprise look on many people and supporting look of her entire family.
Anthony was gazing at her with loving eyes and it gave her strength as she walked towards the Queen who was looking at her with great pride and a hint of amusement.
The entire ton gasped as the Queen stood up from the throne and held out her hand.
Violet gave her daughter-in-law an assuring squeeze as everyone watch Kathani approaching the Queen and curtsying in perfect posture before taking Queen's offered hand.
The Queen smiled as she noticed how soft her precious Gem's hands were. She then turned towards her loyal subjects. "Welcome to the Spring Festival! This season many beautiful girls and dashing men are ready to take their place in society but on this special occasion I want to introduce you all a most precocious Gem I have come across."
The Queen then beckoned the young Lord Bridgerton and watch as young Viscount confidently marched up to her and bowed respectfully before taking his place by his wife's side.
The Queen smiled before turning to face her subject. "It's my pride to give blessings to another great Love match from the same family. So welcome my new Gem and Lord Bridgerton's darling Viscountess, Lady Kathani Bridgerton."
The Queen then took off her signet ruby ring and placed it on her finger as she told everyone. "This is rarer occurrence that instead of season's Diamond a Gem is chosen and it bring me great joy that after many decades we have found our New Gem! And I hope she shine brighter then ever and inspire other young ladies to shine more."
Kathani watched as the entire crowd burst into cheers and applause and even though she knew in her heart that in another scenario they would never deemed her worthy but now they have to accept her with open arms not because she was a member of the most beloved family but she was also chosen by the Queen as her precious Gem.
After successful morning of young debutante Presentation everyone took break and then gathered again outside at Palace Gardens for young gentlemen from Oxford and Cambridge to take part in sports competitions to represent their universities and entertain the Queen and her guests.
Anthony watched as Kathani donned on her brother's attire and nervously tried to bind her cravat. Since he was finished getting dressed he walked towards his wife and gently took over. "You are nervous Sharma?"
Kathani grimaced as she watched her husband binding her cravat with ease. "Never thought I will get displayed in front of the entire nobility and especially not twice in one day. I never knew how hectic this day could be playing two roles one after another."
Her husband smiled in understanding as he finished tying her cravat before placing a sweet kiss on her forehead. "Do not worry my love, you are not alone, our entire family, Bassett and I will be by your side until you achieved your goals."
"Promise." She asked nervously as she yanked her signet ring off and placed it in her chain along with her engagement ring.
"Promise." He replies by placing a last assuring kiss before they grabbed their fencing swords and stepped outside.
The Fencing competition began and The Queen and ton watched as one by one group of two gentlemen from each year of their university participated with their opponents.
The rule were simple a fight will continue until one pair defeated its opponents in the given time otherwise the match will be drawn.
Finally the first year contestants were approaching the field and Queen noticed a familiar looking man walking beside young Lord Bridgerton. "Who is that young fellow with Viscount Bridgerton?" She asked Oxford Principal Professor Hector.
Professor Hector smiled proudly as he informed the Queen. "That is Mr Karan Sharma, our university brilliant student and sports prodigy. I must say that lad is one of the best students we had in years." Professor Hector Chest puffs in pride as Queen looked intrigued by Sharma.
Finally the competition began and both teams were fighting their hardest but everyone has to agreed that Bridgerton and Sharma were forced to be reckoned with.
Queen sons and many high Lord were cheering for them and the Queen can see how perfectly synchronized their movements were but what was even more fascinating was that they both were protecting their partners back from any attack their opponents were taking against them.
Finally after a nail biting competition and just before the last seconds were up Lord Anthony Bridgerton and Karan Sharma disarmed their opponents and claimed victory for themselves.
"Yessssssss!" Simon yells as he and other Oxford students rushed towards Bridgerton and Sharma and embrace them for winning this competition.
By the time it was sunset and the Oxford rowing team won once again against Cambridge, Professor Hector seemed to bursting with enormous pride.
Finally all the winners were called one by one to receive trophy from the Queen herself.
Kathani and Anthony cheered as Simon walked proudly ignoring his father while winking at Lady Danbury as he received trophy for his boxing match and rowing competition.
Kathani squeezed Anthony's hand when he left to receive trophies from Queen for fencing, Chess and As a captain of rowing team.
The Queen smiled as she presented these young brilliant men with their trophies. She was getting tired and was thinking one of her sons to take over when Brimsily announced another gentlemen. "Mr Karan Sharma for his outstanding performance in Chess, Fencing and Rowing competitions."
Kathani nervously walked towards the queen who was staring at her with great interest.
"Congratulations Mr Sharma, I heard a great deal about your achievements from Professor Hector."
Professor Hector beamed with pride while everyone watched as Karan Sharma bowed respectfully as he replied. "I feel honoured that Professor Hector deemed me worthy of his praises."
"You are worthy my boy! The best student of our university we have ever seen!" He boasted in front of entire ton and royalty.
The Queen smiled and beckoned Sharma to collect his trophies.
Kathani receive her trophies with shaking hands and then grabbed queen offered palm to kiss it in respect.
In that second, Queen's eyes narrowed as she leaned closer. "Are you related to my Gem, Viscountess Lady Kathani Bridgerton?"
Anthony stiffen while Simon felt his heart failing but despite her previous nervousnes, Kathani replied in confident voice. "I am her elder brother but since I am of not noble birth, we decided our father's friend Lord Rokesby to present her when she and Bridgerton came for your blessings."
The Queen squeezed her hand weather in understanding or something else Kathani could never tell because in next second she released her hand and said. "Smart move Mr Sharma, it's seems without any noble blood you and your sister are going to leave a mark in our society."
With that she dismissed her and by the time Kathani returned to her husband's side she was greatly relieved but still had a little inkling that something had changed in that moment.
That inkling stayed with her the entire time as she got ready for her first official ball.
As Violet requested Kathani was once again wearing her wedding lehanga and jewellery for this ball because they thought she will be more respected if she appears in her traditional style.
Once again her nerves were catching up on her but before they could create doubts in her mind her husband arrived looking dashingly handsome as he was too wearing the same suite he wore at their wedding.
Dismissing her maids he locked the door and then walked towards his beautiful wife who was standing nervously in front of the mirror.
Kathani relaxed when she was enveloped in her husband's arms, who placed a kiss on her neck as they stared at each other through the mirror. "Tell me? What is bothering my beautiful wife?"
"Can we skip this ball?" She inquires jokingly but Anthony knows how serious that joke was.
He began to sway and Kathani felt herself relaxed as he prepped soft kisses on her skin as he says. "As tempting it's sounds, we cannot anger our Queen with her Gem missing her first ball."
His wife sighed dejectedly and Anthony knew he needed to act quickly to make these doubts disappear. "You know, I have the best remedy for your nerves."
"What? Don't tell me you have stolen Simon's disgusting whiskey again?"
She inquires feeling hopeful and a little annoyed. Her husband, on the other hand, scoffed before placing her on her vanity chair and then dropping down on his knees in front of her. "I have something even better to calm your nerves."
Before she knew it he was lifting layers of her lehanga before disappearing between her legs.
Kathani watched in shock, which soon turned into a pleasant surprise as she felt her husband wet tongue licking her folds.
"Ah! Oh! Jaanu!" She began to moan as her husband's hungrily lapped her honey pot. She clutched his head through her layers of red silk while one hand was holding onto her chair as Anthony devours her cunny juices like he was thirsty for days.
Finally a wave of pleasure crashes her as Kathani screams her husband's and lords name together.
By the time Anthony appeared outside the layers of silk his wife looked satisfied and drunk on pleasure as great smiled etched on her face while he was left smirking in pride.
Anthony couldn't wipe that smirk off his face as his wife's smile didn't left her face by the time they were presentable to walked towards their families and while children couldn't understand why their sister is smiling like that, his mother and aunt red cheeks and his uncle's poorly concealed snorts made Anthony realize that apparently he did great job.
The best reaction by far was Bassett's who gave one look at his wife before staring disgustingly at him as he hissed. "What had you done with my sister Bridgerton!"
Anthony laughs while Kathani smiles prettily at them still in her pleasurable high.
Simon scowl as he annoyingly pulls them aside before making his sister drink a small amount from his flask to snap her out of Bridgerton's sexual trance.
To his relief it worked because she made a disgusting face and coughed before glaring at him. "Great you are back! Now let's go before the entire ton finds out how disgustingly romantic you both are."
Kathani smacked her brother's arm before she looped her husband's hand as they walked inside the ball and everyone seemed to be astonished by this traditional Indian beauty.
Turns out there was nothing to fear because after curtsying The Queen all she had to do was stick to Violet's side as she introduced her to other ladies of the ton.
So far she liked Lady Danbury who stared at her with critical eyes before proclaiming loud enough for everyone, especially Simon's Father to hear. "I like you girl and I cannot wait to know the girl better who not only won Lord Bridgerton heart but also make my Godson her brother."
Feeling happy to get her approval and to see other women impressed by Lady Danbury's approval, Kathani felt she could finally enjoy this ball.
The first waltz were announced and her husband lead her towards dancefloor.
Kathani put her hand tentatively around her husband's shoulders as she tries to remember her dance lessons.
"Hey, do not worry about anything." He assured her as he hold her in his strong arms. "Just keep looking at me and forget about everyone else because no one matters."
They began to dance in perfect harmony and Violet, Billie and George could hear how everyone is praising this beautiful couple.
"They look quite beautiful indeed." The Queen's voice reached their years as Lady Danbury agrees. "I believe they both are setting standard high for upcoming seasons Matches."
The first waltz ended and as much Kathani wanted to kiss her incredible husband they were disturbed by Simon who come to claim her next dance.
So as the night continues she danced many dances with Anthony and Simon and a few other men who Anthony and Simon approved of because they also studied with them at Oxford.
Kathani also danced with Uncle George and Simon's cousin when suddenly she felt parched.
Excusing herself, she grabbed a glass of lemonade and since she can see her husband and Simon are busy conversing with lords she decided to walk towards the balcony to get some fresh air.
Here outside in the starry night Kathani was thanking her blessed stars for getting her through this stress full day.
Feeling triumphant she raised the glass to take a sip when a voice reached her ears.
"For how long are you impersonating your brother?"
The glass dropped and break on the ground as Kathani turned around and gasped horrified as she came face to face with none other then The Queen.
