Disclaimer: This will be the final part of the pilot to Paw Patrol X, I promise. After this part, the story will be dedicated to the missions that the Paw Patrol have, and also their own slice of life adventures where they learn more about each other and so on. Paw Patrol X

New Recruits arc Episode three: A New Beginning Part Three

Flare was in the Paw Patrol lookout elevator as the scene opened up and he went up to the top floor and walked out with a smile to the sight of Snow, who was waiting for him at the top. Flare was a little surprised to see her there, and when he walked up to her, he couldn't help but wanna know why. "Were you waiting here for me?"

"Yeah. Don't ask why though. Something just...told me I wanted to make sure I was right about how Ryder took this." Snow admitted. She seemed a little confused, and didn't know what to say. It wasn't like she was in love, right? She'd only known Flare for a day. She decided to brush it off for now however, and instead let Flare know where Marshall is. "Ryder and Marshall are in Ryder's room. You'll be fine so long as you didn't steal anything in that complex."

Flare laughed a bit at Snow's joke, being ready to assure her that he wasn't a thief. "Don't worry; I'm clean. And thanks." Flare went into Ryder's room, having a good idea as to where it was, since it was literally through the only door in the top floor. When he went in, Ryder and Marshall were waiting for him patiently, leaving Flare more optimistic about the outcome of this. He still felt he should apologize for his tardiness however, doing so as he sat down and set his backpack next to him. "Sorry for the wait. Mr. Porter insisted he make me lunch to thank me for saving Alex."

"Not a problem." Ryder assured Flare, and then he started getting down to things, knowing he would have to point out the flaws he noticed in Flare and Marshall today, starting with the pup who was actually a member. He did his best to be considerate and kind, knowing that they only had the best intentions at hard. He was fair, but he knew he also had to be tough. "Marshall. You did alright for your first mission, and succeeded in saving a lot of people. But we'll have to work on your 'freak attacks' as Flare worded them. (Marshall's ears start to drop) I know it's hard, but you have to get better at handling intense pressure."

Marshal took note of that, still giving Ryder his full attention as he spoke up, feeling awful for how he acted in that moment. "I know. I'm...I'm sorry."

Ryder signaled Marshall not to beat himself up about this, knowing that his anxiety attacks could be worked on. He just needed time, and the right help. He then went to Flare, grateful that he saved a life, but knowing that it was done with a hasty action. "Flare. I commend you for saving Alex. And I know your heart was in the right place. But I know that you went in without a plan. You have the right attitude of someone who wants to help people, but you have to work on rushing in blind."

"Yeah, I know." Flare replied while giggling about how often this happened. "Marshall reminds me at least once a week."

Ryder took note of that, glad to see that Marshall was looking out for his younger brother. Flare was a naive pup, but he was also good hearted and wanted to do good things for the world. Ryder knew he could use anyone like that, and decided to make Flare an offer. "I can't make you a member right away, since you're below ten, and that's usually the acceptable age for new members." Flare nodded in response with Ryder smiling as he then declared his offer. "But I CAN train you to help you become a member overtime. That's what Snow did to join too. (Holds his paw out) What do you say?"

Flare was psyched when he heard that news. Was he really about to start training to be a member of the Paw Patrol? This had to be a dream! But if it was, he would've woken up at this moment, right? He knew he couldn't hesitate. He quickly shook Ryder's paw and was beyond excited to start his training. "Thank you so much Ryder! I promise, I won't let you down!"

"I know you won't." Ryder then went to shake Marshall's paw, who accepted as he commented on the situation. "As you both already know, the Paw Patrol is famous for helping everyone they can, big and small. That includes helping our members, and potential future members, work on their flaws, including you. And I'm more than happy to have the both of you aboard." Flare and Marshall looked at each other with immense excitement. They both knew that they would be great friends with everyone in the Paw Patrol for a long time to come.

Ryder then got serious as he prepared to tell the Dalmatian brothers about Charm. He knew they had to know about their most dangerous threat, especially since the criminal they caught today was working for him. "I think you two caught notice to how we were talking about Charm after we caught one of his minions." Flare and Marshall took notice to the reminder of that moment, wondering who Charm was as Ryder began the explanation. He brought up something on his pup pad and showed them a virtual screening of Charm. "Believe it or not, this dog is our biggest enemy."

Flare and Marshall paid close attention as Ryder talked about Charm while also giving some pictures on all of the things that he did. "Charm is responsible for all kinds of terrible acts around Adventure Bay and beyond, from stealing priceless artifacts to arson on important buildings." Ryder pulled up a list of Charm's minions with Flare and Marshall being shocked by what they saw. "The closest he's gotten was an attempt at genocide. He's sick in the head, and needs to be stopped."

Flare was horrified that someone like this excited in this world. He didn't think people were capable of doing terrible things like this. Hopefully he never befriended anyone like that without noticing. "You guys are always stopping criminals. But they can't ALL be as bad as Charm."

"That's right Flare. Some just need a push in the right direction. And I should know, because I tend to do the pushing for some of the ones who do." Ryder put the pages down and got serious about Charm again as he brought up his sadism. "But Charm is far gone from saving. (Flare's face drops) You two are dismissed. I'll let you know when we start your training Flare."

"Yeah. Okay." Flare and Marshall left with Marshall putting a paw on Flare's shoulder after noticing how hard the situation hit him. Flare was naive, but he knew that Charm wasn't someone to be messed around with under any circumstances. Ryder then gave a look of concern for Flare. One look at his face told him that he'd never heard of someone like Charm before. He'd hoped it wasn't too much for him.

Flare was currently sitting outside contemplating what he just learned about Charm, and while he did this, Snow came out onto the balcony and surprised him. "Oh, hi Snow. What're you doing out here?"

"Marshall told me about how you felt after Ryder told the two of you about Charm." Snow explained, sitting down next to Flare, who was on one of the two stools of the side of the table that was next to the balcony. "I was hoping you'd feel good enough to talk, since Marshall felt trying to soon after a revelation like that would've been bad for all of us."

Flare thought about Charm and figured that he didn't have to let it loom over his head. Since he was now in training for the Paw Patrol, he would get the skills needed to help stop him if need be. "This whole criminal thing is kinda new to me. (Looks at Snow) Believe it or not, the town Marshall and I lived in was full of nice canines who never wanted to hurt anyone." Snow was surprised to hear that with Flare then putting on a smile in regards to the situation. "But Ryder offered to start training me to join the team one day, so I'll do what I can to help stop him."

Snow was glad to hear that. The last thing she wanted was for someone to get emotionally wrecked. Especially someone as happy and cheerful as Flare. "That's good. It's best to do something about your feelings than to let them overtake you." Flare was extremely happy to hear that and then blushed softly, which caught Snow's attention as she pointed it out. "You okay?"

"Yeah. Why?" Flare asked, and then he noticed that he was blushing, much to his surprise as he commented on it. "Okay, that's weird. Can I turn that off?" Snow giggled a bit at what Flare just asked, leaving Flare confused as to what he was feeling right now. He'd never had these feelings for anyone before, and he started to worry that he was ruining the mood of the moment. "I didn't ruin the moment, did I?"

"No, you're good." Snow assured Flare, having to admit that she found Flare's behavior to be kind of cute. Either way, she knew that Flare was going to make a great friend to have, team member or not.

Later that day, Rocky was looking through the dumpster with Flare and Marshall coming by to find Chase and Zuma waiting for Rocky to come out. When Flare and Marshall came over there, Flare couldn't help but ask what Rocky was doing. "What's Rocky doing in a dumpster?"

"He's dumpstew diving." Zuma explained. He could also tell that Flare didn't know what that is and commented on it before explaining. "Geez, how much did your hometown leave you out on dude? (Flare shrugs) Anyway, dumpstew diving is when you go into the dumpstew by your house, or the local dump, or whatevew, and you see if you can find anything cool."

"Rocky's been doing it every week since he joined the team." Chase added, having gotten used to this behavior by now as he then cracked a joke about it. "Of course, he always forgets he'll need a bath after he's done. I guess the trash fumes mess with his brain whenever he starts."

The other pups started laughing with Rocky coming out and speaking to them about what he found. "Joke all you want, but I found a treasure!" Rocky hopped down with a gas mask, intriguing Flare as Rocky explained what it was. "Can you believe someone threw this out while it was in perfect condition?"

"If it was in perfect condition they probably wouldn't have trashed it." Marshall quipped, and that caught the calling out of those around him.

"Marshall!"

The pups then laughed with Rocky putting the gas mask on and going next to Chase, since he knew he would be the best fit. "Cmon Chase; let's see if it works."

Chase stood on his hind legs and bent over to where his butt was pointed at Rocky with his butt shown as he looked back with a confident grin. "You got it Rocky!" Chase then crunched his face as suddenly, (PHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHT) he cut a loud and bassy, ten second fart at Rocky on cue, hitting him with a big yellow cloud that made his butt vibrate with Flare and Marshall being surprised by this as Zuma snickered a bit upon sight of it.

At first, Rocky seemed okay in the fart, but that was just when the cloud started surrounding him. "Fresh as a daisy." As Rocky continued to stand in the fart cloud, his nose started burning, indicating that the mask had stopped working and he started gasping for air and gagging as he ripped the gas mask off and threw it aside. "Ah! My nose is like a volcano now!" Chase went back to standing on four legs with the rest of the pups gagging and wafting the gas cloud away as it lingered on over to them. Chase whiffed the fart with a proud grin and sighed of relief at the butt bomb he'd just unleashed.

Zuma was in the living room with a guitar beside him as he helped Rocky with getting Chase's eggy butt blast out of his nostrils as Marshall spoke to Chase while helping Flare hook up his game console. "So...do you always take the opportunity to fart on your teammates, or do you just do it when they need you to do it?"

"It all depends on the mood I'm in really." Chase admitted, still being quite proud of the butt bomb he hit Rocky with. "Sometimes I'll rip one when we're watching TV, other times a butt bomb will just sneak up on me without me noticing, and on the rare occasion I'd hold one in during a mission, it'd burst out." Flare snickered at the sound of fart talk with Chase then explaining what that last one meant. "Sometimes my food comes back to haunt me during missions."

Marshall took note of that with Flare then pointing something out that he felt would help Marshall. "I guess that shows how even longtime members can make mistakes."

Marshall got what Flare was getting at and smiled at the idea, glad to find that he wasn't alone in mistake making. "Yeah. Otherwise we'd all be robots."

Everyone started laughing at the thought of being robots as Zuma finished fixing Rocky's nose, making Rocky glad that he could finally stop smelling Chase's farts as he sighed of relief. "Thanks Zuma. Finally I don't have to smell Chase's butt the whole day."

"Admit it Rocky, you love what you saw." Chase bragged with a smug grin, leaving Rocky to roll his eyes while smiling as Flare finished setting up the game console. When that happened, Zuma started playing his guitar, and when Flare heard it, he started smiling and swaying his head to the laid back beat of the song. This caught Chase's attention. Knowing Zuma would love this, he spoke up. "Hey Zuma; I think you have a new audience member."

Marshall saw an opportunity and brought his attention to helping Flare show off another hobby of his. Conveniently, this was at the same time Snow and Skye overheard Zuma playing from the kitchen, turning off the crockpot they were slow cooking in and heading over to listen. "Hey Flare, why don't you go sing to Zuma's guitar playing? I think he'd be cool with some vocals."

"Ya really think so?" Flare asked, and then fater Marshall nodded, Flare looked at Zuma, who signalled to sit next to him on the left couch cushion, as Rocky was on the right, and Zuma was in the middle. When Flare came up there and sat down on the couch, he had to admit that he wasn't sure what to sing. "I should let you know; I'm a little in over my head about this."

"Just wing it dude." Zuma instructed Flare, being cool with on the spot lyrics being made. "I've never had vocals for this before, so now will be a great start, planned or on the spot."

Flare nodded with a smile and happily synced his voice with Zuma's guitar playing the best he could as he started singing A New Beginning. "My older brother managed to join the Paw Patrol. I snuck onto his boat ride and that almost took a toll. But now we're here, residing in Adventure Bay. And the vibe I'm getting is making me want to stay. I loved my life back in my hometown, but there's so much about the world that's so new to me. And now I can finally discover, what I've been missing out on, and there's so much in this world for me to seeeeee."

Flare hopped off of the couch and continued singing with Zuma continuing to play as everyone else moved their heads to the beat. "There's so much about this world that I've never seen before! And now I've got my new friends here to help me see it to the core! (Marshall is shown to be smiling at what a good time Flare is having) My life back home was great, but despite somethings befrightening...(Flare starts to walk off)I really do believe that this is a new beginning."

Flare headed outside as the others followed him with Flare continued to sing as Zuma continued playing with Zuma speaking up about it. "I like the way you think kid. Keep it up!"

Flare was glad to hear that and continued to sing about how excited he was to experience the world beyond his hometown. "I know there will be hard times where it'll be a bumpy ride. (Sees the damages apartment complex in town) And now I know there's a lot of cruel things one can see. (Flare shudders at the thought of being caught in destruction like that, but then continues singing to feel better about it) But I'm still excited to see what I'll find in this stride. (Continues walking with the rest of the pups) And while exploring, I'll work to be the best hero I can be."

Zuma was starting to get the theme of Flare's on the spot song, finding that these were the feelings that Flare was expressing from within himself. He had to respect that, and happily continued playing as Flare held his paw out for a bird. "I can only think of the things that I'll discover, (Nuzzles the bird) and whether or not there's something rare I'll uncover, (The bird flies off and chirps with Flare continuing to sing) it's all so new, and so amazing, and I wanna see it all, and I'm not gonna let this news on Charm make me faaaaaall."

Flare started moving around the trees and flowers as he continued to sing about his desire to see the world. "The waves will continue to crash, and the birds will continue to soar! (The sun started shining to highlight Flare's optimism and excitement to see the world) The sun will continue to shine, and the rain will continue to pour! (Flare looks up to the sky) I know it won't always be easy, but I'll find all that I can see, and along with that, I'll work to be the best hero I can be!"

Flare arrived at the edge of the land the Paw Patrol lookout is on with Marshall sitting next to him as Zuma continued to play for him and the other pups continued listening as he sang. "This new place. It's just the start of what I'll see. The start of it all. And how awesome it can all be. (Rocky smiles to Zuma, who smiles back as he continues playing) There's still so much. That I have year to learn about. And I'm ready to have as much as I can make be sought out!"

Flare stood up proudly as he looked over the horizon, being ready to see the world the best he could, and also to help people the best he could. "The chance to help people and to see all that I can! (Picks up a flower) It makes me feel glad (Puts the flower up to his ear, catching Snow's attention) that I can be (Skye gives a sly grin, seeming to be catching onto something) a part of this plan! (Flare continues to look over the horizon with Marshall) This is all so new and some of it may be frightening! (The camera spins as Flare turns around and finishes the song) This is the time for a new beginniiiiiing!"

Flare walks over to his friends with Marshall as the latter puts a paw on his shoulder with Zuma playing the final strums of Flare's song. "A new beginning." Flare was beyond excited to find that he could help people while also seeing the world, and then he became astonished as he forgot something and looked at Marshall. "Marshall! We were so distracted by you joining the team and what happened this morning that we forgot to call mom and Margareth!"

"Oh, you're right! (Runs off with Flare) See you guys back at the lookout!" Flare and Marshall rushed off as quickly as they could with the others happily heading back as Zuma played a peaceful melody on his guitar to set the mood.

Flare and Marshall were giving their mom a video call on Marshall's laptop, waiting for her to answer as she did after two rings. After that, they saw the happy and loving face of their mother, who was excited to see that they called her. "Hello my special boys! Enjoying your time in Adventure Bay so far?"

"We're loving it mom!" Marshall exclaimed, being proud of what he was doing in Adventure Bay as he then spoke up about the calling tme. "Sorry we didn't call yesterday. We were so stoked about my initiation that it slipped our minds, and today I had my first task because someone set a fire to the apartment complex and-"

"Marshall almost died of fear!"

"Flare, cmon."

Flare and Marshall's mother laughed at the sight of their banter and congratulated Marshall on his accomplishment. "I couldn't be happier for you if I tried Marshall. "You've come so far from when you were born and you're only ten years old. If your father was here he'd be as proud of you as I was." Marshall grinned happily as their mother then turned to Flare with a sly grin on her face. "As for you mister, (Flare flinches) you're lucky you left me that letter otherwise I would've started a search party."

"Yeah, sorry about leaving so suddenly." Flare apologized as he scratched his head, and he then started talking about the situation. "I was so excited about Marshall joining the team that my whole body told me to join him on the boat ride here. (Marshall rubs Flare's head) And I knew you would've stopped me if I told you, so this was the best I could do." Flare and Marshall's mother understood why Flare did what he did as he then brought up something that came from today's mission. "And it paid off if that helps. I saved someone's life during Marshall's mission today and now Ryder's getting ready to train me to join the team one day!"

Marshall flinched upon Flare mentioning that he was on his mission today, instantly noticing his mother's worry as he quickly denied telling Flare to do anything. "I swear; it caught all of us off guard!"

Flare giggled a bit as a female teenage Dalmatian jumped into the video and commented on the scenario. "And if he got hurt, we would've reamed both of you for it." Marshall chuckled nervously at the joke his and Flare's sister made as she hten noticed the flower in Flare's ear. "Hey Flare, did you put that there yourself?"

Flare looked at the flower he put into his right ear, glad that his sister noticed as he smiled and spoke up. "You bet I did Margareth. I found it outside while singing to Zuma's guitar playing and I wanted to see how it'd look."

"Well it sure does look good on you." Margaret commented, making Flare laugh cheerfully in response as Marshall smiled towards his brother. Despite the reckless action it took to get training from Ryder, Marshall knew that said training wasn't going to go to waste. Flare cared too much about helping people to let that happen.

Flare and Marshall were eating dinner with the rest of the pups as Flare was digging into what Skye and Snow had made for them. The Paw Patrol, aside from Marshall, were surprised by how much Flare was eating, as he was currently on his second bowl, and it'd only really been a couple minutes since everyone started eating. And when he finished that second bowl, he even asked for more. "More please!" Dang this puppy was a hungry one. At least he had manners. He even showed interest in the food when Skye went to get him more. "What'd you say this was again?"

"It's called Mexican Street Corn Chowder." Skye explained, giving Flare a big bowl to ensure that he would get enough this time. "I got it from this cooking magazine I ordered a while ago before I joined the team."

Snow felt that Flare could use some more context, since Skye told her a lot about her life before the Paw Patrol, and Flare didn't know too much yet. "She was trying to see if the balloon helium actually made her voice high pitched. I wasn't there, but she also told me that thankfully, no one got hurt, hence why she wasn't banned for life."

Skye handed Flare his third bowl with Flare being happy to get some more food in his belly. "I've heard weirder origin stories of learning new recipes. Thanks Skye!"

Flare started chomping down on the bowl with Zuma letting out a loud burp when he finished what he was eating and commenting to Chase about how much Flare was eating. "And I thought YOU were a big eatew Chase. I mean, you are, but still."

Chase laughed a bit as he took his bowl and headed over to the sink to clean it off while joking about what Zuma just pointed out. "Good thing I never went for the biggest eater award. Flare would win that one without even trying." Flare was chowing down on his third bowl and was loving it as much as the other two, leaving Snow to finish her first bowl and head off to watch it as Flare continued eating.

Flare and Marshall were getting ready for bed as Marshall was making sure his pup suit was put into the room's Suit Retrieval machine. After he made sure it was sent to where it needed to go, he spoke up about how cool the system surrounding it was. "Sure is cool how the elevators put on our suits for us every mission." Marshall noticed that Flare didn't give a response and looked up to find him thinking about what he learned about Charm today. "You okay buddy?"

Flare flinched and sat up to respond to what Marshall was saying in the hopes that he wouldn't come off as a hypocrite. "Sorry, I was thinking about what Ryder said about that Charm guy. (Marshall gains a look of realization) I never thought someone like that existed."

Marshall climbed up the ladder and sat down next to Flare, hoping that he would be able to say the right thing here. Flare had never felt like this before, so he wanted to make sure it went right. The first thing that came to his mind was reminding him of the song he sang earlier that day. "The idea of our old town was to leave people like that out. But now that you know bad people exist, you can do something about it. That's what your song was partially about, right?"

"Oh yeah." Flare laughed, surprised that he forgot about that when he started lying down. "I hope Ryder gets my first training assignment ready soon. I wanna be ready if Charm decides to attack us. (Looks at Marshall) Just imagine if one of my training sessions was how to train dragons to fight for us!"

Marshall laughed a bit at the mention of training dragons. He didn't know if Flare would be able to pull something like that off so soon. "That could be harder than you think Flare. Dragons can be stubborn." But Flare didn't care if it was a challenge. He wasn't the type to give up when things got hard. And he was ready for anything Ryder threw at him for his training, especially after his talk with Marshall.

The next morning, a blonde teenager in a blue tank top and a yellow skirt was shown to be in the lookout as she spoke to Ryder about the crime that took place yesterday as she held a microphone. "You're definitely lucky to be my first report Ryder. I know I was there, but I wanted to get the full story of the situation." The camera guy was struggling with Katie noticing and helping him to hold the camera properly. "Hold it with one hand on the bottom and the other on the handle. (Looks at Ryder) I'm so glad you agreed to do this when I called yesterday."

"Anything for a friend Katie." Ryder responded, and then he went into detail on the mission itself, since he knew that was what she wanted. "The mission went pretty smoothly. There weren't any casualties, but there were unfortunately, some who got hurt in the incident. They were still able to head home after examination though." Katie was making sure the microphone was close nough to where the audience could hear Ryder, knowing that this was important. "There was a setback or two, but nothing we can't handle."

"Is there ANYTHING you can't handle?" Katie asked, having been impressed with Ryder's skills as a leader since day one. "You lead this team the same way an executive chef leads the kitchen!" Ryder found that comparison to be a bit odd as Katie then got another idea. "Oh. The pups who were involved woudln't mind being in the interview, would they? I forgot to ask that in the call."

"I'll call them myself and find out." Ryder assured Katie, and then he gave Chase and Marshall a call. He knew Chase would love this, but he wasn't too sure about Marshall. His panic attack the other day gave him a different idea on his reaction.

Little to Ryder's knowledge however, Chase and Marshall were right outside the lookout as they discussed something that happened before Marshall joined the team. "And that's how Zuma's attempt at getting attention gave him a facefull of sand."

"Yikes. Sounds painful." Marshall added with concern for Zuma, and then he and Chase got the call from Ryder and both answered with Chase speaking up. "Yes Ryder sir?"

"Hey Chase. Hey Marshall." Ryder greeted the two pups. "My friend Katie wanted to do an interview of the incident that happened yesterday, and she's hoping that you two wouldn't mind being a part of that."

"You know me Ryder." Chase proudly started with a smug grin, and then he noticed Marshall looking worried and went to comfort him. "You don't have to do it if you don't want to Marshall."

"No, it's fine." Marshall insisted, heading inside with Chase in the hopes that he wouldn't bomb this. "She should get the full package for this."

Chase and Marshall came inside with Katie being glad that they agreed to do this. Little did they know however, that Katie wanted someone else to chime in too. "Awesome! Can the other one join in too?"

Chase and Marshall were a little confused at first, but they realized who Katie was talking about as Flare, who was revealed to be playing video games nearby, popped up and paused his game. "Me!?" Katie nodded her head yes with Ryder signalling him to come on in, which he happily did after setting his controller down. "I'd love too!"

Flare skidded on over next to Marshall with Katie giving her camera guy the thumbs up, allowing him to kneel down to the pups with Katie doing so as well to interview the three of them, starting with Chase. "You first Chase. Obviously you were keeping everyone from getting too involved in the mission, but it was also your first mission with a new teammate. What did you think when you found out you would be the first one working with your newest member."

Chase had to admit that he was happy to have been the first to work with Marshall officially, even if Marshall almost lost it during the mission yesterday. "It was actually pretty interesting. It gave me the perfect opportunity to take not of Marshall's strengths, as well as the things we can work on to make him the strongest member he can be." Chase then put a paw on Marshall's shoulder, assuring him that he wouldn't give up on him as he spoke to the audience and smiled proudly to them. "It'll get hard at some points, but I'm more than ready to help Marshall however I can."

Marshall was eternally grateful to hear that as Katie got the answer she was looking for. She knew Chase would've given her that kind of response. After all, he was Ryder's second in command. "I'd expect nothing less from Ryder's second in command. (Turns to Marshall) What about you Marshall? Getting such an intense mission so early must've been hard for you to handle. I would've started freaking out too if I were in your paws."

Marshall still felt off about how he handled the mission yesterday. If Flare wasn't there, he probably would've lost it completely. "I'm just glad my brother was there to snap me out of it. Working under pressure is something I have to work on; both fast and efficiently. I can't risk panic attacks when lives are at stake. Being unable to help it can only last as a believable excuse for so long and I don't wanna use it. Ever."

Katie felt Marshall's pain and took out a pup treat from her bag, handing it to him and letting him eat it. "No need to thank me. (Marshall accepts the pup treat) Just think of it as a sign that you'll get there one day." Marshall was grateful for the pup treat as he ate it and took a liking to the bacon flavor it had. Katie was glad to have seemingly helped him a bit, and then he went to Flare, being the most interested in him. "Flare, right? You were the one who rushed into the building to save Alex. Being the one who ISN'T an official member yet, what did you feel in that moment?"

"To be honest, I didn't even think about it." Flare admitted, knowing that he caught everyone off guard yesterday. "I just rushed in as soon as Alex said he was trapped and felt the need to do something. Something just...sparked in me, and I stopped thinking when I rushed in." Richie was shown to be watching the news report from home with his mother, who set some snacks down for them to eat as Flare finished his statement. "I guess in the end, all I cared about was saving him."

Richie smiled at the sight of Flare's pure hearted nature. Although it was a sudden showing, Richie had a good feeling about Flare and how he would be helpful to the team. Katie then looked at the audience, glad to see that she got the answers she was looking for as she spoke to them. "There you have it everyone! From what we got from the Paw Patrol's star pup, the latest member, and his younger brother, Adventure Bay's future should look bright as we move forward, and look to a bright future."

Flare looked at Chase and Marshall, who were both proud of him for what he did yesterday, and he thought to himself with a bright smile about how he would help the team. He was still excited to see the world and everything he'd never noticed before, but he was just as ready to help everyone he could, and wouldn't hesitate to lend a helping paw when he could. His determined stare and kind smile said it all. This, to Flare, while he did love his life in his hometown...was a new beginning.

Fire blazed over the screen as moments from the pilot were shown and rock music started playing and the one who was playing the guitar started singing Help The World. "There's a team of dogs who never back down from any danger. Their mission is to help people, no matter how minor or major. The leader Ryder takes these dogs in so they can help in any way they can. A means to prove yourself, or saving them from a bad life, it's all part of his plan! Chase! (Two second riff) Skye! (Two second riff) Zuma! (Two second riff) Rocky! (Two second riff) Snow! (Two second riff) Marshall! My, bro-ther!"

Scenes from the pilot continued to be shown as as the song continued. "I may not be a member but I'll be useful however I can! Even if it's a side mission I'll help the world as long as I stand! The Paw Patrol is on a roll, no matter how badly the danger's swirled! My brother is a member of their team now...(The riff continues for three seconds uninterrupted) and I'm always ready to help the world." The riff continued for about five more seconds before slowing down and giving one final riff with the title Paw Patrol X being shown on screen with Paw Patrol in white and the X in red.

Rock music played as Flare started talking about what was going to happen in the next part as certain moments from the next episode were shown playing. "Wow Snow, you sure are strong. I hope my training starts soon so I can match that. Wait, where are you guys going? Can I come!? Please, please, pleeeeaaaase? Yes! This is gonna be so cool! Snow seems pretty interested in this research. I can't blame her, but she's also had a couple moments of suspicion. Is she hiding something, or am I just overthinking it?"

Flare then finished the announcement as the title of the chapter was shown in all white with Flare on one end, and Marshall on the other. "Next time, Dragons, both peaceful and reckless! (Flare is shown to be looking at some baby eggs as he finds the sight of them to be fascinating) Now I'm wondering why my hometown kept these creatures out."

Charm was currently watching the news report Katie made in his office. It was a big room with a super computer, and all kinds of entertainment things like a dancing video game and a pool table. And also a lot of supplies that could help with the mission like the blackboard and blueprints. Charm was sitting in a big red chair as a Kishu came over to him and set a glass of some kind of beverage beside him as Charm spoke coldly and clearly about what he said. "You may want to consider getting back into battle soon Trickery. These new Dalmatian foes shan't be underestimated."
