Paw Patrol X

New Recruits arc Episode sixteen: Chase Turns Twelve

The Paw Patrol lookout was shown as we heard a frantic Skye inside seemingly pacing around the place. One could tell she was setting up a party as well, since there were a bunch of decorations being set up and a banner that said 'Happy Birthday Chase!', and then stated how Chase was the best boyfriend ever. It was pretty evident that this was for Chase. Snow came into the living room, which was where Skye was setting everything up, and she overheard her running around as she set up the balloons. "Come on, the blue ones have to stand out! I can't get that wrong!"

Snow saw that Skye was desperate to get this right and walked over to her before she started climbing and put a paw on her shoulder. "Skye, you and Chase have been dating for like, a week. I doubt he'd expect you to put on the perfect party."

"And that's just it Snow!" Skye exclaimed, being desperate to give Chase the best birthday party he'd ever have. "I wanna show Chase that I'm trying to be the best girlfriend and future wife he'll ever have, and I have to make sure this party's perfect to make that possible! (Takes out her phone) I even asked him if I could try to track down his long lost family members to see if they'd come!" Snow gave Skye a deadpan look that showed how she felt Skye was going overboard. Skye then sighed as she put her phone away and finished her vent. "I just want him to know I love him."

"He knows you love him Skye; you tell each other every day. And twelve years old is pretty late for temper tantrums." Snow assured her best friend, with a hint of snark in her temper tantrum comment, knowing that Chase would appreciate whatever she did for him. "Tell ya what; I'll keep Chase busy, and you can get the others to help you set everything up."

Skye appreciated the offer, and didn't see any reason to decline since she was clearly struggling to get it all done. "I'd love that. Thanks Snow."

"Not a problem!" Snow then ran outside and called out to Chase in order to distract him from Skye's work. "Hey Chase! Let's go do something fun or work related away from the Lookout for no particular reason!" Skye then rushed off to get the rest of her friends to help with the party. She knew Flare would love helping with the designs of everything.

Fire blazed over the screen as moments from the season one were shown and rock music started playing and the one who was playing the guitar started singing Help The World. The first scene that was shown involved Flare watching Chase and Marshall in action during the fire. "There's a team of dogs who never back down from any danger." The scene then changed to Richie shooting at Charm's minions to disarm them, killing one who gets too close to a human. "Their mission is to help people, no matter how minor or major."

The scene then changed to Ryder standing tall as he leads some of the members through what looks like a forest they were sent to for a mission. "The leader Ryder takes these dogs in so they can help in any way they can." The scene then changed to Flare putting the daisy in his flower, just like he did in the third part of the pilot. "A means to prove yourself, or saving them from a bad life, it's all part of his plan!"

Chase comes on screen and is shown bragging proudly about himself as he arrested someone."Chase!" A two second riff played before showing Skye performing a triple backflip and barking to turn on her wings and fly up. "Skye!" A two second riff played before showing Zuma surfing and looking to see if the others were watching him. "Zuma!" A two second riff played before showing Rocky inventing some kind of defense weapon while paying the maximum attention to every detail. "Rocky!" A two second riff played before showing Snow snatching a gun from one of Charm's soldiers as soon as they aim it at her and aiming it back at theim. "Snow!"

A two second riff played before showing Marshall climbing up a ladder to save someone as he breathed to himself while trying desperately to keep his cool. "Marshall!"

"My, bro-ther!"

Flare was then shown to be training in the Paw Patrol lair as he blocked a robot's kicks and punches before kicking his head off. "I may not be a member but I'll be useful however I can!" The scene then changed to Flare holding Snow's paw as the two of them are seemingly running away from something dangerous. "Even if it's a side mission I'll help the world as long as I stand!" The scene then changed to Flare meeting Charm as the Golden Retriever walks over to him with a cold glare and menacing scowl, making Flare back away slowly. "The Paw Patrol is on a roll, no matter how badly the danger's swirled!"

The scene then changed to Flare standing with the Paw Patrol, as Marshall rubs Flare's head, Snow smiles to Flare, Rocky blushes when Zuma gives him a sly grin, Chase gives a wink to Skye, who giggles about the gesture, Richie puts his guns away and looks on with determination, and Ryder crosses his arms and gives a confident smile. "My brother is a member of their team now...(The riff continues for three seconds uninterrupted) and I'm always ready to (Flare gives a cheerful smile and gives a peace sign to the audience with his eyes closed and his eyes giving a teeth smile) help the world."

The riff continued for about five more seconds before slowing down and giving one final riff with the title Paw Patrol X being shown on screen with Paw Patrol in white and the X in red. As soon as the riff slowed down, Flare was shown hanging up a picture that showed exactly what everyone was doing before the song ended, revealing it to have been a group photo.

Skye was currently getting everyone else caught up with the party she was designing, and she had Zuma working on the party games. One of the games he was setting up was one where a picture of Chase looking back with a horny smile involved pinning what looked like Skye's teeth onto his butt. He quickly caught on and couldn't help giving a kinky smile as he looked to Skye. "Yeah, I see what you did there."

Skye giggled a bit as it was then revealed that Marshall was setting up the balloons. He was doing alright, but then he accidentally let go of one, causing it to land on Rocky's face, with Rocky setting up the decorations that Skye was preparing. This led to the two of them laughing a bit as Marshall then making another one of his infamous puns. "Some people do say I'm a little air headed."

Marshall laughed a bit at his pun with Rocky giving a disinterested look as he responded with annoyance. "Really?"

Marshall took notice of this and smiled as he sucked just a bit of the helium into his mouth, speaking in a high pitched voice that brought Rocky's mood back. "I guess everyone has that one show with a rocky start." Rocky couldn't help but laugh at how Marshall's voice sounded with Marshall smirking as he spoke up about it. "I see you laughing. And smiling. Admit it."

"I am; and I hate it!" Rocky stated bluntly as he continued to laugh, having never expected something like that from Marshall.

With the others helping out in the living room, this gave Skye the chance to head into kitchen, where Flare was waiting for her excitedly to help cook Chase's birthday feast. "Thanks for letting me help with the cooking Skye. I'll make extra sure this is a birthday feast Chase never forgets!"

"And that's exactly what I'm looking for." Skye responded gratefully, and she then started pulling out what she needed from the pantry, and Flare was getting the pots and stuff out and putting them on the stove. As Skye set the ingredients down however, he took notice to something as she started talking. "I have a feeling Chase would've ordered this on our first date-"

Flare's vision was headset on one thing in particular however. That being the fact that Skye was using pasta sauce directly from a jar. That instantly disgusted him and while Skye was setting everything down on a cutting board, he instantly grabbed the jar and snapped at Skye, who was surprised by his reaction. "What the heck is this!?" Skye had never seen Flare this angry before, at least outside of when he had the flu. He then quickly clarified why with his next few choice words for the sauce. "You can't taint spaghetti with this store bought, tasteless crap!"

Flare threw the pasta sauce towards the trash can, leaving Skye to see how seriously he took cooking. Sadly, she wasn't as serious about it as him and didn't have as much skill. "I don't know how to make my own pasta sauce yet. That's why I bought that stuff yesterday."

As soon as Skye clarified that, Flare was quick to let her know what she had to do. "It's easier than you think. Start by getting some FRESH tomatoes from the fridge, and I'll show you step by step how to get this done."

Skye nodded in response and went over to the fridge, pulling out some fresh tomatoes as she thought about how strict Flare got over the jarred pasta sauce. 'Flare must really hate store bought pasta sauce if he reacted like that to me almost using it. Good thing I haven't made spaghetti during his time living here yet.' Skye brought the tomatoes over to Flare, and the two instantly got to work with Marshall taking notice and laughing a bit at the sight. Rocky wasn't aware of why this was, but shrugged, having less context than Marshall, and got back to work.

Chase and Snow were currently at the park with Snow jumping onto the merry go round you use to make yourself spin as fast as possible. "Come on Chase! Spin me around on this bad boy!"

Chase couldn't help but chuckle upon sight of this. This was the fourth time Snow had requested a merry go round ride from him. "Snow, we already did this three times now."

"I don't care birthday boy; spin me." Snow replied bluntly, and Chase shrugged before obliging. And as Snow held on, Chase spin her around as quickly as he could, which was pretty fast all things considered. She didn't expect any less from the best dog on the team, and by about twenty seconds, she was feeling the pressure for sure. Chase then stopped after hitting the thirty second mark with Snow giving him a hi five as she cheered. "That was awesome!"

"Hehe. I bet it was." Chase replied, and then he got a call from Ryder, which he answered instantly on his pup tag. "You're on Ryder."

"Chase. I just got reports of a robbery at the local gas station on my crime radar." Ryder explained, leaving Chase and Snow to catch on about what was happening quickly. "Can you and Snow handle it?"

Chase then showed his confidence by bragging a bit about his skills. "If by can we handle it, you mean humiliate the bad guy, then yes." Ryder took note of that, and after Chase hung up, he got into action. "Snow; we're on duty!"

Snow switched from her baseball cap to her police hat as she got onto Chase's back and the two called for his car. "Let's do this!" After Chase's truck arrived, he hopped in with Snow getting off of his back and sliding on the front to get to the passanger's seat. The two then quickly nodded to each other and drove off with Chase pressing his collar and putting his pup pack suit from it as they did.

Ryder was then shown to be helping Rocky by holding his ladder as Skye thanked him for his little assist. "Thanks Ryder. That should keep Chase busy long enough for us to finish at least some of the buffet."

"Happy to help Skye." Ryder responded, and then he looked at his pup pad and was glad he didn't actually have to lie to Chase. "Good thing that crime was actually going on."

Skye wiped her forehead with relief, being glad that she didn't have to lie to Chase, and went back to the kitchen. She saw Flare hard at work as the Dalmatian puppy had already finished cutting up everything Skye would need to prepare the pasta sauce recipe he provided her with. Everything was perfectly sized and Skye was amazed at how efficient he was with it all. "Wow Flare; you work fast!"

"Ya gotta work fast when in the kitchen." Flare replied, and then he set what he finished to the side and let Skye take the reins. When she did, he made it very clear that he wasn't going to accept failure. "And remember Skye. This is the recipe my mom and I made after we discovered I hate canned sauce. (Slams paws on the counter) Don't, mess, it up."

Skye nodded in response as she got started with the instructions Flare gave her, with Skye going into two leg mode, and Flare going into four leg mode. The first step was making sure the tomatoes were peeled and seeded, which she tried her best to do without fail. It took a lot of precision, and Flare was watching to make sure Skye had it. She felt that Flare being there and acting more stern than usual was throwing her off when she was slow, so she hoped she wouldn't come off as rude with her request. "Maybe I'd do this better if I was by myself in the kitchen."

"Okay, but if you mess this up then I won't be happy." Flare warned Skye, and then he went into the living room to see how else he could help with the party. Skye was still stressed out from the thought of how Chase was going to react, and now she had to avoid making Flare mad by making sure she didn't botch his family's pasta sauce recipe. As she continued to try and peel the tomato, she started to sweat a bit. The peeling was slow, and Skye's vision was precise. After five seconds of concern, she managed to peel the first batch of skin off, but right after that her butt was shown to be pointed out when...

BRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAT

Skye flinched and looked back as her butt vibrated upon the release of the yellow, rotten egg cloud that made her blush a crimson red upon release. She tried to fan away the fart with Flare calling over to her with a stern tone. "And one more thing I forgot to mention! We don't fart when we're cooking!"

"Sorry! That one snuck up on me!" Skye called back, and Skye knew she couldn't let her butt burst stop her, so she got back to cooking and picked the tomato back up after someone else turned the fan on. "Right." Skye got back to peeling the tomato, breathing in from her nose, only for a squeaky, three second peanut butter fart (PFFFFFT) to leave her rear end with a green cloud rising behind her briefly before the fan cleared it out. Skye then sighed as she thought about how hard this was gonna be. She was clearly stressed, but she knew it'd be worth it for Chase. She definitely got gassier after the two started dating though.

Chase and Snow were dealing with the robbery at the gas station as they parked outside and got a look into the building. The two of them took their guns out just in case, and the two nodded to each other as Snow tucked her weapons belt. The two of them then arrived at the gas station and found someone in a ski mask robbing a Native American male with black hair by making him put money into a cash sack. Chase was quick to demand that the robber desist from his duties. "You're not gonna get out of this buddy! Return the money to it's rightful owner, and come with us!"

The robber smirked and aimed his gun at the shop owner, making a threat to kill him if they didn't back off. "Surely you wouldn't risk the life of a human, right?"

"Maybe. But I know when someone's cruel enough to do that just by looking at them." Chase assured the robber, who gave him an eyebrow raise with Chase then smirking as he made an offer. "Tell ya what. Take off your mask. Then I'll see if you're serious."

The robber, being a total idiot, obliged with Snow having just enough time to dash behind one of the snack racks. She then snuck around as the robber revealed that he was a poor looking male with shaggy brown hair. Chase got what he wanted, and he now knew that the robber was more scared than malicious. The robber then noticed that Snow was gone, and just as he did, Snow was revealed to already be at the rack that was right behind him. "Hey; weren't there two of you?"

Snow signalled the cashier to get ready to duck, which he prepared for as Snow then threw a smoke bomb, causing the robber to lose sight of everyone. He fired his gun, only to completely miss with Chase then pinning the robber to the ground with a brutal tackle. "Sir! You are under arrest for armed robbery and attempted murder of a local gas station owner!"

As Chase read the robber his Miranda Rights after arresting him, which then led to Snow picking up the sack and handing the owner his money back. "No need to thank us dude. Stopping scum like him is satisfying enough to compensate." The owner was grateful for the rescue, and even though the smoke hadn't cleared yet, it was clear what was going on from what he could see with his own eyes.

Back at the lookout, Skye had managed to get close to done with the pasta sauce crafting Flare had given her, since he did most of the prep work for her beforehand. Flare came into the kitchen to check on her progress, and when he got a good look at what she was doing, he was impressed. She was able to follow the recipe accordingly; "Mind if I get a taste?" and when he took a taste at the sauce after making a request, he found that the flavors were very well done. Not perfect, but good enough for him to praise. "Nice work! And you've never done this before?"

Skye giggled a bit at that comment, realizing that it may seem a little hard to believe after how well she was doing. "Well I had the recipe from someone who'd been making this stuff for years."

Flare saw Skye's point, and then he gave her a little hint as to something else he had for motivating him in terms of the pasta sauce. "Now you can use this every time you cook for Chase."

Skye was a little surprised by that, but only because of what Flare was offering. This was his family's recipe, and she thought this was just an exception for him sharing it with someone else. Was he really giving her permission to use it herself? "You mean I can use it more? But why?"

"Because I want you to be able to make Chase happy as often as you can." Flare revealed, and Skye was touched by the sweetness in his comment. He then giggled a bit himself before he spoke up about how much he actually could help Skye. "I know I can't get involved in your romantic life ALL the time; if I did it'd feel more like Chase and I were sharing a girlfriend. And one thing I know I can help you with, is your cooking ability."

Skye couldn't help but be grateful for what Flare was saying, and the young Dalmatian puppy put on his usual cheerful smile as he finished. "And now that you know how to make pasta sauce on your own, you'll be able to make Chase happy if he's had a bad day whenever you make his favorite food!"

Skye had a feeling Ryder let him train to join for a good reason. She hugged the Dalmatian puppy, who was surprised, but laughed a bit as he hugged her back while she thanked him. "Thanks Flare."

"Not a problem." Flare then pulled Skye away as he gave her a sly grin. "Just try to save the brownies for desert next time." Skye chuckled nervously while scratching the back of her head in response to that. She knew it'd be a while before Flare let her live farting while making his special pasta sauce down.

Chase and Snow were taking the robber back to the Lookout with the two of them being proud of their success in stopping him, especially Chase. "Once again Snow, the top dog on the Paw Patrol has stopped a criminal in his tracks. I can hear the praise we'll get for catching this guy when we turn him in tomorrow as we speak."

"Pfft. Yeah; or the cops calling out your inflated ego." Snow shot at Chase, and then she heard her phone beep, and she took it out with a confused look. "Could've sworn I that this on silent." The text was revealed to be Skye telling Snow to take Chase back to the lookout. She quickly texted her back and put her phone away as she vaguely told Chase what was going on. "Skye just texted me. She said she has a surprise back at the Lookout."

Chase got a good look at the road and saw that his car was on the path to the lookout. Knowing that he and Snow would be home soon, he got excited for what Skye wanted to show them. "Knowing Skye, she's not gonna disappoint." Chase pulled up in the driveway of the lookout and parked his car in between Marshall's fire truck and Rocky's eco truck before getting out with Snow. The two of them took the criminal to the Lookout. Snow also took the time to punch the criminal, making him wince in pain.

Chase and Snow were heading inside and noticed the lights were off when they did. Chase was confused by this, and Snow gave a cheeky grin as she spoke up. "He's here!"

As the lights turned on, Chase saw everyone else waiting for him in the living room, where Chase looked after hearing all of their voices. "Surprise!"

Chase got a look around and saw that the party was for his twelfth birthday! He couldn't help but smile upon this, before giving a grin to Snow. "Yeah; I see what you were doing there." Snow laughed a bit as Chase rubbed her head, and then he spoke to the others about the party. "Thanks guys, this means a lot. I'll put this scumbag into one of our cells and be right back out." Chase took the criminal to his cell with Skye and Snow giving each other a thumbs up. Snow had done her job, and it seemed as if Skye had succeeded so far in giving him a good birthday party.

Chase and the others were currently playing party games with Chase and Zuma currently competing in Pup Pup Boogie. The two of them were clearly invested in it with Chase even making a playful retort to Zuma. "Better watch out Zuma. You just might get more than you bargained for."

"With MY dance moves? Ha! You'll be lucky to get even half my scowe." Zuma taunted back, and he and Chase got back to focusing on their game after that with Chase licking his lips with determination.

Richie then arrived with his birthday present for Chase, setting it down on the table after walking into the living room. He had a casual smile on his face and seemed rather cheerful as he arrived." "Sorry I'm late guys. My mom had stuff to do and needed my help with some of it."

"You finished just in time." Skye assured Richie, gesturing to Chase and Zuma's match as she did. It was revealed that neither one of them had missed a single beat in the solid ten minutes the two of them were playing for. This led to Skye nodding her head yes proudly as she commented on how well Chase has improved. "I taught Chase well."

"I bet you did." Ryder responded as he rubbed Skye's head. He also knew that Skye did a great job in preparing Skye's birthday party. "He was definitely excited to show off the skills he learned from you today." Skye couldn't help but smile upon Ryder's comment. She was glad to be doing well in making Chase's twelfth birthday his best one yet.

Next up, Chase was opening up his birthday presents, and he was now on Ryder and Rocky's, which was revealed to be his very own weapon belt. The sleek light blue color along with the orange pockets mashed together amazingly, and every pocket had it's own purpose; some were for guns, some were for knives, and the rest were for sub weapons. There were at least ten pockets in total, and Chase couldn't be happier as he put it on. "This is awesome! (Looks at Ryder) Thanks Ryder! (Looks at Rocky) You too Rocky! I'll be sure to put this to good use!"

Ryder laughed a bit with a smile on his face. He knew Chase would've loved to see this present when he finished it. "I know you will."

"I helped design the belt and stitch everything down." Rocky revealed, being glad that Chase appreciated how every little detail was placed. "That's why I shared giving that gift to you with Ryder."

Chase shrugged, not really caring about the details as he then moved onto the next gift. This time it was from Zuma, who was snickering as Chase opened his up. The gift was a confusing one. It was a Tv remote, and it was for the Paw Patrol's brand of Tv. "A Tv remote? (Looks at Zuma) Not to sound rude, but why just a remote? We already have one."

"Just use it dude!" Zuma insisted, being excited for what was about to be shown on it. "It's gonna be epic!" Chase shrugged and turned the Tv on, and it was then revealed to be a recording that said 'Chase: The Gassiest German Shepherd Ever.'.

The title alone made Chase snicker, and Zuma then started narrating the title in the video. "And I pwesent to you, Chase: The Gassiest Gewman Shephewd ever!". The screen then showed Zuma, who was recording himself as a long and crass sounding fart was heard on his computer. "Alwight dudes. Chase just started fawting an hour ago, and sleeping hasn't stopped him, and now I'm gonna let you guys see the four highlights fwom the action." Zuma turned the camera to his laptop and it was revealed that a camera in Chase's room was recording him. And as the title Zuma put in suggested...

FFFFFFFFFF...

Chase was farting in his sleep, and his room was already surrounded by rotten eggy yellow clouds, along with a wilted flower by the window. As the farting sounds continued, Chase gave a sly grin as Zuma continued to talk about how nasty Chase's gas was. "Chase could pwobably knock out a skunk with his nasty butt gas. Our fwiends joke about it constantly." Chase couldn't help but laugh at the obvious joke present Zuma gave to him as the farting continued.

The Zuma standing next to him also clarified what he did. "It took me houws to get the best footage fwom this to be the only stuff I showed in the video."

Chase nodded in understanding as the slide then changed to three hours later with Chase still farting, and now he was standing up and flexing in front of his mirror while flexing as his gas continued to leave his butt...

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF...

He then turned his butt to the mirror and got a good look at it, and when the window broke from his toxic gas, he flinched, having not noticed what'd happened. Chase shrugged and continued to flex, having not realized what was going on as the Zuma in the video snorted while speaking up about it. "Dude's been going at it for four houws now."

After Zuma laughed a little more, the next shot was shown with Chase back in bed after six hours, and he was hugging his teddy bear while farting on it with Chase flinching as everyone else saw it. "Officer Beary defends the law too! It's not weakness showing!" The others laughed a bit at Chase's defensive statement, but regardless, the farting in his video still continued...

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF...

Zuma then put in some more commentary as he brought up something beneficial to this event. "Thank God Wyder made that gas concealing device. Whole Lookout would've been quawantined before houw one was even over if he didn't."

Chase couldn't help bursting into laughter after hearing that with Zuma then showing the last clip, which was at eight hours, and Chase was now getting out of bed. It'd been nine hours since Chase's farting had started, and now he was burping and farting simultaniously as Zuma spoke up. "Oh yeah. He stawted buwping while fawting nonstop too about thwee hours ago." As Chase got out of bed, he noticed what he was doing and couldn't help but give a smug grin as he saw it. He decided to let the rest of it out, pointing out his butt and making the ground shake, pushing hard as the last minute of his gas from both ends left his body...

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT

Chase then sighed with relief and whiffed his stinky fart gas, being amazed by how much he'd been farting for. "Nine hours. Must be a new record." Chase couldn't help but be impressed by this, and after he raised his paw with a proud smile, Zuma happily accepted his high paw and pumped his fist with joy at another successful prank.

Ryder then chuckled a bit himself as he decided to keep this from being the main topic of the current discussion. "Thank you; Zuma, for that... humerous present. Let's finish with the presents and then move onto the feast before we eat Chase's cake." Everyone liked the sound of that, and Chase then moved onto the last present, which was Skye's. Skye smiled before the present was revealed. She could tell Chase was having a good time, and was happy to see him enjoying his birthday.

The pups were now enjoying the spaghetti from the feast that Skye made for Chase's party with the help of Flare's homemade pasta sauce recipe. Chase loved the taste of said sauce and had to know how Skye made it. "Baby, you went all out with this pasta sauce, no question! How did you make this?"

"Flare actually let me use the recipe he and his mom made before he and Marshall moved here." Skye explained, and then she and Chase looked at Flare, who was bashing the pinata the best he could with the blindfold on. He gave his usual cheerful laugh when he missed his swing and fell on his rear end. Chase was impressed by the knowledge that Flare knew how to make pasta sauce with Skye speaking up about it. "It's no wonder his food is always so amazing."

Chase nodded in response to that, and then as he started to cuddle up with with Skye, he looked down to the love locket half he had on him. It was the side that ended the message, and it looked like the message was 'Lovers Until The End, And Evermore'. Somehow, those words felt familiar to Chase. He just couldn't figure out where he'd heard them from "'Until the End, And Evermore'. (Skye looks at Chase) For some reason, I... feel like I've heard that before."

Skye saw that Chase was starting to get emotional. Those words seemed important to him. Perhaps mentioning what she was feeling today would keep his mood from being ruined. "Whoever you heard it from, I imagine it was from someone who'd put as much effort into this party as I did." Chase looked at Skye; her look told him that she felt she didn't do enough for his party. "Maybe even more than I did."

Chase felt what Skye was feeling there, as if he understood what she felt personally. He had plenty of moments in his life where he felt he wasn't good enough. Whenever he made a mistake during a mission, he started to doubt himself and wonder if he had what it took to help people, and to prove his worth to Ryder. Ryder would always assure him that mistakes were natural, but he couldn't help feeling this way whenever he made one. He knew he had to do the same for Skye so she knew he thought of her as an amazing girlfriend. "What you did today was perfect."

Skye looked at Chase, who smiled as he assured her that he didn't want anything more than the love she could give to him. "At least in my eyes." Chase grabbed his girlfriend's paws as he looked into her eyes and let her know that he was grateful for her company. "I could never be ungrateful for anything you did for me Skye. It just wouldn't feel right. You don't have to stress about how much you do for me. Just do the best you can, and I'll continue to show you my love, every day, no exceptions."

Skye started to tear up with joy upon hearing that. Throughout her life, some of the people she knew always told her she had to do the best no matter what. But with Chase and everyone else on the team, she could be herself. She could show her weird side, and they wouldn't judge her. Chase was confirmation that she didn't need to worry. She wiped her eyes and happily kissed him, leading to him wrapping his arms around her. After five seconds of kissing, Skye stated her gratitude as the lovers looked into each others eyes. "Don't ever let me forget those words."

Chase and Skye embraced one another and started cuddling on the couch with Marshall taking a crack at the pinata cracking. As he swung his bat however, he swung a little too hard and started spinning, leading to the other pups getting out of the way as Ryder nodded to Richie, who stopped Marshall from spinning anymore by grabbing the bat and taking the blindfold off. "Thanks Richie." Richie nodded in response to Marshall's words as Marshall then looked back at the others with a smile. "I'm okay!"

The rest of the pups laughed with Chase and Skye now having their attention caught. Skye looked at Chase devilishly as she had something in mind for him to do. "Why don't you take a crack at smashing that pinata? I'd love to see your strength in action."

"Wish me luck then baby." Chase happily kissed Skye on the cheek before heading off into the ring, and Richie handed him the bat and blindfold before Ryder spun him around. Skye watched her boyfriend enjoying his birthday, and he even swung at the pinata twice, but missed on both of them. On his third time, he managed to hit it, sending it to the ground and breaking it; and Skye ran over to him and hugged him after he did. Chase took off his blindfold as he saw the broken pinata, and he simply wrapped his arm around Skye and smiled to her, and she smiled back. The two of them knew that they would love each other forever, no matter what came their way.

Soft piano music started playing as the night sky was shown with the scene then descending to the cliff at the edge of the Paw Patrol lookout's standing as Flare walked over to it. Flare then sat down and looked at the stars as he thought about the pups in the Paw Patrol with a female voice singing Risks Worth Taking. He first thought about Snow. "This world has so much in it, that I have yet to see. And I have to be ready for how to act upon it, whatever it may be. (Flare starts thinking about Chase) I've made so many great friends, since I came to Adventure Bay. And when I start to help with missions, that will certainly be my day."

The song continued as Flare started to think about Rocky. "When things get good, and when they get bad, I hope they know that I have their back. There will be times where I make mistakes, but I'll work to get back on track. (Flare starts thinking about Zuma) There's no such thing as a chosen one, or any of that destiny stuff. I have to work to help this world, and that doesn't mean I get all buff."

Flare then started thinking about Skye as the song continued. "If I fall down, I'll just get right back up, and I'll prove to them that I'm a strong pup; and that I won't let the danger I face make me freeze and start shaking." Marshall then came up to Flare as the song continued and sat down next to him and rubbed his head. "And even if there are times when I struggle, I knooow..." Flare then yawned with Marshall smiling as he went back home with him to get him ready for bed. "that there are risks worth taking."
