Disclaimer: This is the last chapter before the three part season one finale! I have plenty more that I wanna do after this, but as far as season one is concerned, all that's left after this point is the three part finale, and the special epilogue chapter. I hope you enjoy the return to Twin Flame Island as well, and the chance to see it in full. Enjoy!

Also, I don't own Paw Patrol.

Paw Patrol X

New Recruits arc Episode seventeen: Find Your Sister! Finish The Device!

A ferry was revealed to be going over the sea, and the tomboy Husky, Snow, was leaning on the handrail with her back as Flare and Marshall looked over the end of it. Flare was currently singing about how excited he was to see his and Marshall's mom and sister again. "Goin' to our hometown, gonna see our family; also gonna help snow finish her device and do it rapidly!"

Snow and Marshall were of course loving Flare's singing with Richie coming over to them and pointing something out regarding the visit. "You know you can use this as a chance to spend time with your sister and mom, right? And they may seem a little off-put if you use this trip to help Snow instead."

"We called them before the trip and they said it was okay." Flare revealed, and Richie nodded in understanding as Flare then brought up a question he had in mind for Richie. "I've been meaning to ask you this since we met Richie. Snow said you were a hybrid of a human and something else when Marshall and I first arrived in Adventure Bay. (Richie looks at Flare) If you don't mind me asking, what's the other half?"

Richie was a little hesitant at first, but he felt telling Flare and Marshall about his other hybrid half wouldn't hurt. After all, the two of them had known him for almost three months now. They were bound to learn at some point. "Believe it or not, I'm half demon."

This, understandably, shocked Flare and Marshall immensely. "Half Demon!?"

Richie laughed as he took notice to Flare and Marshall's reactions while leaning on the railway to the ferry. That was honestly the best case scenario in his eyes. "Shocking; I know. That's why I only bring it up to people who ask." Richie then looked at Flare and Marshall with another detail in mind for them. "If you have a secret to tell, it's important to build trust before you reveal it."

"We'll keep that in mind; thanks." Marshall replied, and then he gave a surprised laugh, still being surprised to know that he's been working with a half demon. Richie didn't mind though. He knew Marshall had already come around.

Fire blazed over the screen as moments from the season one were shown and rock music started playing and the one who was playing the guitar started singing Help The World. The first scene that was shown involved Flare watching Chase and Marshall in action during the fire. "There's a team of dogs who never back down from any danger." The scene then changed to Richie shooting at Charm's minions to disarm them, killing one who gets too close to a human. "Their mission is to help people, no matter how minor or major."

The scene then changed to Ryder standing tall as he leads some of the members through what looks like a forest they were sent to for a mission. "The leader Ryder takes these dogs in so they can help in any way they can." The scene then changed to Flare putting the daisy in his flower, just like he did in the third part of the pilot. "A means to prove yourself, or saving them from a bad life, it's all part of his plan!"

Chase comes on screen and is shown bragging proudly about himself as he arrested someone."Chase!" A two second riff played before showing Skye performing a triple backflip and barking to turn on her wings and fly up. "Skye!" A two second riff played before showing Zuma surfing and looking to see if the others were watching him. "Zuma!" A two second riff played before showing Rocky inventing some kind of defense weapon while paying the maximum attention to every detail. "Rocky!" A two second riff played before showing Snow snatching a gun from one of Charm's soldiers as soon as they aim it at her and aiming it back at theim. "Snow!"

A two second riff played before showing Marshall climbing up a ladder to save someone as he breathed to himself while trying desperately to keep his cool. "Marshall!"

"My, bro-ther!"

Flare was then shown to be training in the Paw Patrol lair as he blocked a robot's kicks and punches before kicking his head off. "I may not be a member but I'll be useful however I can!" The scene then changed to Flare holding Snow's paw as the two of them are seemingly running away from something dangerous. "Even if it's a side mission I'll help the world as long as I stand!" The scene then changed to Flare meeting Charm as the Golden Retriever walks over to him with a cold glare and menacing scowl, making Flare back away slowly. "The Paw Patrol is on a roll, no matter how badly the danger's swirled!"

The scene then changed to Flare standing with the Paw Patrol, as Marshall rubs Flare's head, Snow smiles to Flare, Rocky blushes when Zuma gives him a sly grin, Chase gives a wink to Skye, who giggles about the gesture, Richie puts his guns away and looks on with determination, and Ryder crosses his arms and gives a confident smile. "My brother is a member of their team now...(The riff continues for three seconds uninterrupted) and I'm always ready to (Flare gives a cheerful smile and gives a peace sign to the audience with his eyes closed and his eyes giving a teeth smile) help the world."

The riff continued for about five more seconds before slowing down and giving one final riff with the title Paw Patrol X being shown on screen with Paw Patrol in white and the X in red. As soon as the riff slowed down, Flare was shown hanging up a picture that showed exactly what everyone was doing before the song ended, revealing it to have been a group photo.

The ferry Flare and the others were on was heading for Twin Flame Island as Richie was explaining something else to Flare and Richie. "Demons also have enhanced durability and stamina compared to humans or dogs. I think that's why Ryder asked me to join when he first made the Paw Patrol."

Flare and Marshall did find that fact to be interesting with Snow having her attention caught by the magical barrier around Twin Flame Island going down. This intrigued her, and she went over to Flare and Marshall to ask about it. "What's with the barrier? I thought you said the people here were super friendly."

"They are. They just aren't very MAGIC friendly." Marshall explained, and then he went into a little more detail as to why. "Apparently the place was attacked by some evil magic beings a while back, before even Margareth was born, and the place has been against magic ever since. At least inside the town." Snow was surprised to hear about that. Twin Flame Island had a more dangerous past than she thought. At least from what she just learned.

The ferry arrived at the docks with Flare and Marshall rushing ahead of Snow and Richie after they arrived as soon as they saw their mom and sister waiting for them. "Mom! Margareth!" The two brothers hugged their mom and sister, both of whom were delighted to see them.

Margareth was quick to noogie Marshall, making the Dalmatian laugh as Margareth spoke up about his position on the Paw Patrol. "Glad to see the Paw Patrol's been treating my little brothers right." She then rubbed Flare's head, and was shown to be protective and caring, but still loved messing with her brothers, and could get violent when need be. "Just let me know if they start treating you like crap and I'll be ready to pound their faces in!" Snow and Richie stayed back for a bit and smiled at the sight of Flare and Marshall seeing their family again with Richie crossing his arms.

Flare and Marshall's mother then kneeled down to her sons and expressed endless amounts of joy upon seeing them. "Even in the span of less than three months, I can already tell you two have grown so much from moving to Adventure Bay." The two brothers then looked at each other with bright smiles as their mother pointed something else out. "It seems that both of you leaving was best. I only hope I can stay around long enough to see you two truly excel."

Flare and Marshall beamed with Flare giving a peace sign and laugh and Marshall giving a thumbs up. As their mother smiled proudly upon seeing her boys and how much they've matured in the short time they've been in Adventure Bay for, Richie spoke up. "Wave Munroe, right?" Wave directed her attention to Richie, who was smiling politely as he talked about the trip. "I hope you don't mind that I came with your boys. I just came because Marshall is the first member of the team who came from a good home, and I wanted to see it for myself."

Wave didn't mind Richie coming one bit. She was always excited to meet the friends her children made. "Not in the slightest. I'd be more than happy to show you around while Flare helped Snow with her device."

"I promise mom; as soon as we find the last item, we'll spend as much time together as we want!" Flare stated happily with a beaming smile, and then he let her know about the promise he made to Snow during the camping trip. "And I've kept my promise to Snow so far too. Just this one last thing and her device for finding Everest will be ready!"

Wave praised her son's wonderful promise keeping to Snow as her paws joined his and the young Dalmatian jumped up and down happily while holding them. "That's wonderful sweetie. I'm sure Snow appreciates every last bit of help you've given her."

Snow then walked up to Flare and stopped him from jumping, and he looked at her as she smiled and spoke up about the plan. "I hate to interrupt the family reunion here, but we gotta spend as much time as we can looking for that last thing we need. Everest isn't gonna save herself."

"Right." Flare then hugged Wave and Margareth, being ecstatic to see his mom and sister again. "I'll be back as soon as I can."

Margareth struggled to let go at first, but then pulled Flare away as he gave him plenty of warnings about what could lie out there. "And remember to come back if you get too badly hurt. And also don't let Snow drag you down if she turns out to be crazy. (Snow flinches) And if you see a bad guy then-"

Snow then gave a deadpan look towards Margareth as she pulled Flare back, surprising the Dalmatian's older sister quite a bit. "Okay Wonder Sister, he gets it. You won't need a truth rope to figure THAT out." It was clear that Margareth was extremely protective over Flare, and Snow wasn't going to let that become a setback.

"Don't worry Margareth; I'll be okay." All Margareth could do was smile and hope Flare was right. She always did worry about something crazy happening to him.

Wave then smiled as she walked off with her other two children and Richie. "Let's go Marshy. I bet you and Flare missed this place." Marshall laughed a bit in response, while also blushing from being called that affectionate nickname.

Some kind of jungle on Twin Flame Island was revealed as Flare and Snow were then shown entering it as Snow commented on Margareth and how protective she was. "I can see why you didn't tell them what we were looking for." Flare and Snow started walking through the jungle as Snow pulled out a picture of the last item they needed. "If they found out we were looking for a Twin Flame Island Scorpion for it's poison, they probably would've flipped out upon seeing me."

Snow showed Flare a picture of what they were looking for, and it was revealed to be a red scorpion. The red was in the shade of fire, and it had Flare remember the first mission Marshall had in Adventure Bay. "I'm surprised Margareth didn't freak out after she heard about the fire I saved Alex from." Flare gave Snow the picture back as he elaborated on that. "She's been super protective of me since I was born. I think it has something to do with our dad dying the day after."

"I take it that's why you said bye through a written note." Snow responded with a sly grin, and Flare just laughed as he scratched the back of his head, not knowing how to deny the truth. Snow then got on track regarding the Twin Flame Scorpion. "You said you've been here before the move, right? Where's a place that's usually really hot?"

Flare tried to think of the best place to look, and he then rushed off when grabbing Snow's paw. "Come on; I know the perfect way to find our scorpion!" Flare found a tall tree and started climbing it with Snow following behind. Snow wasn't a very good climber, as her struggle to get the bluebird feathers she needed during the camping trip would tell you, but thankfully, she brought her grappling hook this time. She threw this up to Flare, who grabbed onto it and held on in case Snow fell. When Snow started climbing, Flare continued as well while holding onto the rope with his teeth.

Flare and Snow reached the top with Flare arriving first and sitting on the top branch. When Snow got up, she sat next to him with Flare pointing over to the location he had in mind. "There!" Snow looked to Flare was pointing and was impressed by what she saw. It looked like some kind of cave that was surrounded by heat coated rocks. As Snow observed it from afar, Flare looked at her to explain more about it. "My mom said never to go there because this crazy lady named Melinda lives there. If we team up though, we should be able to get what we want real fast."

Snow was already planning on going through with this, and she looked at Flare as she stated the plan. "We're just going for the Twin Flame Scorpion poison. In, and out." Flare nodded, and as he and Snow hi fived, their plan was ready to commence.

Marshall, Margareth, and Wave were currently showing Richie around Twin Flame Island as the human/demon hybrid saw that it looked like a much smaller version of Adventure Bay. He wasn't surprised by this, since it was something Flare and Marshall brought up every now and then. Wave also wanted to make sure that Richie enjoyed his visit. "As you can tell, Twin Flame Island much more cozy than Adventure Bay." Wave then chuckled a bit as she made a comparison. "From what Flare and Marshall told us, Adventure Bay is a live concert compared to here."

"Something like that." Richie laughed, and then he saw that the people there seemed to all get along and care about each other, as he saw a male Doberman interacting with a male Chow Chow in a friendly chat. "It seems to have a similar vibe in terms of the residents. I only just started looking, but everyone here seemingly gets along great."

Marshall was glad to hear that, since Richie seemed to be having a good time upon hearing it. He then saw the park, and Richie knew he'd love it there. "Check that out Richie. Mom always took us to that park when she had time for it."

"And when Flare wasn't raging during his most recent video game challenge." Wave joked, causing Marshall and Margareth to joke in response.

Margareth then made an offer to Richie that she felt he would be interested in. "We also have a baseball diamond if you wanna see my batting skills. Maybe I could even hit a ball to Adventure Bay."

"Not really a sports fan, but thanks." Richie politely declined, and Margareth shrugged, feeling that she could still find a way to show her skills off to Flare and Marshall's friends.

Flare and Snow were traversing the jungle to the hear coated rock cave and were making some decent progress. They could see a small part of the cave nearby, and they were glad to be getting to the last item they needed with more speed than they originally thought. Flare then got an idea and nudged Snow, who gave the Dalmatian her attention as he then pointed up to some vines. Snow caught on quickly, and she gave Flare a boost as she then used her grappling hook to go up one of the trees quickly. Flare grabbed one of the vines as he flew up.

Flare kicked off of the tree and started laughing as he flew through the air, and this led to Snow following behind and laughing with him. He and Snow then jumped to the next vines that were in their view and grabbed them quickly, swinging across them as well. Snow then looked to see Flare just laughing and having a good time. She always took notice to when he just let the danger part of something go and focused on the good. She couldn't help but smile with him as they continued swinging.

The two puppies continued to swing across the vines with Flare even snagging a banana and opening it up as he jumped to another vine. As he took a bite, he grabbed onto the next vine and Snow took sight of the cave. She and Flare swung into action, and they jumped out from the trees that led to the forest and slid down the nearest two. As they got to the bottom, they jumped down and Flare raised his fists with joy in regards to how much fun that was. He and Snow then sat down together to catch their breaths before going into the cave.

Snow knew she was right to trust Flare for many reasons, and one of those was because for any faults she could find with him, he always knew how to have a good time. She looked at the smiling and laughing Dalmatian as the two of them took in what they just did, and she started laughing with him. She couldn't resist the Dalmatian's fun loving and energetic vibe. Flare was just so full of life. He was the kind of pup Snow didn't know she needed in her life. And ironically, in a few ways... he reminded her of Everest. And that made her even more happy to be near him.

Richie was currently drawing a sketch of the park in some kind of book, and while he was doing this, Marshall and Margareth were playing a game of tag nearby. As they were running however, Marshall tripped over his own two feet and started rolling, instantly signaling Margareth to jump out of the way. Marshall then rolled into a tree and an apple ended up falling on his head, and he happily caught it as he spoke up. "I'm okay!" Margareth ran over to Marshall to see if he actually was okay, and then he of course, did his signature joking trait. "Luckily there wasn't too much gravity to the impact."

Marshall laughed a bit at his pun with Margareth cringing and playfully shoving Marshall as she smiled to him. "Shut up Marshall."

Wave was watching her children play as she was feeding the ducks some cracked corn she was holding. Richie took note of this and went over to her as he commented on the food choice. "Interesting choice for feeding. Most people just use bread for feeding ducks."

"I learned somewhere that apparently you're not supposed to do that." Wave explained, and she gave the ducks some more cracked corn as she continued. "Luckily for me and for them, they eat this stuff up like Margareth eats up the home runs she makes at baseball games."

Richie looked over to where Marshall and Margareth were, and he saw Margareth tickling Marshall, who was laughing as Margareth playfully teased him. "Who's my clumsy baby brother? Is it you? Is it you?"

As the two siblings kept playing, Richie started taking a sketch of the pond as he sat down, and Wave took notice to it. "I just might take that knowledge with me back to Adventure Bay." Wave was glad to hear that Richie liked what she had to say. She always loved helping the youth, with knowledge, or in general.

Flare and Snow were searching the cave for the Twin Flame Scorpion they needed for the last part of Snow's device. They were in there for at least a couple minutes now, so they weren't surprised to not find anything. Snow was determined too, so there was next to nothing that would make her turn back. "Alright Flare. If the book was right, then there should be at least a few Twin Flame Scorpions in here to give us the fire poison we need for my device."

Flare nodded in response and started looking around, and then he thought of something that he questioned about Twin Flame Scorpions. "Ya know something I don't get? The fact that Twin Flame Scorpion's can hold both fire, and poison in them. (Snow looks at Flare) I mean, I'm no expert, but I think the combination would've caused them to die a lot sooner. How do they have the time to produce?"

Snow couldn't help but snort upon hearing Flare's tangent, especially considering how rare it was for him. "I don't think it's something we're supposed to think about Flare."

Just then, Snow noticed a Twin Flame Scorpion nearby and signaled Flare to stay quiet, which he did as Snow took out a trap for the thing. She aimed carefully, and when she had a good shot, she fired. The trap was then revealed to be a fireproof, poison repellant, scorpion net. Flare was impressed by this and had to comment on it. "Cool net!"

"Thanks. I had Rocky make it for me the day before we set out." Snow explained proudly, and then she and Flare went over to the scorpion, and Snow went down to it to explain what she needed. She took out a capsule and spoke gently to the scorpion in the hopes that it'd cooperate. "Cmon little scorpion dude. I don't wanna hurt you. I just need some of your fire poison so I can finish this device I'm working on."

"There is a much easier way to get it to cooperate my young Husky." Flare and Snow were confused to hear that voice, and when they looked on ahead, they saw a cloaked canine walking up to them. To prevent them from going into battle, she then took off her cloak hood, and revealed herself to be an elderly English Springer Spaniel. "If you like... I can show you."

Back in Twin Flame Island, Richie was getting a look around Wave's house, and the house tour started with Marshall showing him the living room. It had a lot of stuff in it from what Richie could see, from a bookshelf by the bay window, to a retro looking Tv on top of a shelf with a dvd player by it. There were also a bunch of toys that supposedly belonged to Flare, which Marshall took notice of as he pointed it out. "As you can see, we... weren't the richest people in town. And also Flare couldn't take every single one of his toys with him to Adventure Bay."

Richie took note of that with Wave going into the kitchen and getting out some ingredients for lunch. "I bet you guys are hungry from how early you got up for the ferry ride. Especially Flare. (Looks to Richie) What's your opinion on burgers, Richie?"

"That they're awesome." Richie casually replied as he leaned on the island in the kitchen that gave a view of the living room from there. "Pretty much everyone in the Paw Patrol loves them. Not a requirement though; just a coincidence."

Margareth then laughed a bit as she picked up a golden baseball trophy and went over to Richie with it as she responded to what he said. "It's no wonder Flare loves it at the Lookout then. Burgers are his favorite." Richie had already caught onto that, but before he could respond, Margareth set her trophy down. "I have at least three of these. This one right here, is the first one." Richie got a good look at the trophy as Margareth spoke a little more about it. "Every day, I look at this trophy, and remind myself that I have what it takes to go pro one day."

Marshall then took a jab at Margareth regarding how confident she was in her baseball skills. "I hope you mean a pro in playing rather than showing how much you can talk about it." Richie snickered a bit as Margareth rolled her eyes while smiling as Marshall then made an offer. "You want some help there mom? I got how everyone here likes their burgers down as well as Flare does."

Wave laughed a bit before finishing the seasoning on the burger meat and gave Marshall a sly grin. "I learned a long time ago that your clumsy butt is more help outside the kitchen than in it." Marshall couldn't help but laugh at his mother's playful jab at his clumsiness. He was never embarrassed about it, and while he wasn't the WORST cook in the world, Wave did have a point. Him being in the kitchen would result in a huge mess.

Flare and Snow watched as the Spaniel introduced herself to them while freeing the Twin Flame Scorpion from the trap. "My name is Miranda." That name sounded familiar to Flare, but he didn't say anything because he knew Snow needed this fire poison for her device. He was put a little on edge from it though, and Miranda felt the same way when she saw his eyes. It was the same pair of eyes as a certain someone she once knew. She stayed focused however, and gave them advice on getting what they need. "Believe it or not, Twin Flame Island scorpions are gentle creatures unless attacked."

Snow took note of that and stepped closer with the capsule in her paw and held it up to the scorpion. When the scorpion saw Snow's gentle posture and smile, it obliged and gave Snow the fire poison she needed. It wasn't much, but it was enough; at least two drops worth, and Snow was still grateful. "Thanks."

The scorpion smiled and crawled back into Miranda's cloak with Flare and Snow taking note. Flare found the fact that Miranda was the owner of a Twin Flame Scorpion to be rather cool and stepped closer. "Wow, you weren't kidding about the gentle part. I didn't think Twin Flame Scorpions would be okay with having owners."

"As I said, they're gentle creatures." Miranda responsed, and she seemed more cold with Flare, much to his and Snow's surprise. Miranda then asked a question that she hoped would get her an answer. "Tell me. Is your father... Blaze Munroe?"

Flare was surprised by the sudden question about his family, but he felt it wouldn't hurt to answer. "Yeah. He is." Miranda took note of that as Flare then listed the rest of his family to be safe. "My mom's name is Wave, and I have two older siblings; a sister named Margareth, and a brother named Marshall." Snow wasn't so sure about that move from Flare, but he seemed to be lightening up a bit as he then smiled upon making a question himself for Miranda. "Now it's MY turn to ask a question. How did you manage to live in this cave? Assuming you do anyway."

Miranda turned around and spoke in a cold tone, not because she was offended, but because she was familiar with Flare's father. "Let's just say I have my methods."

Flare and Snow both looked in confusion and concern as Miranda walked off, going into the shadows as she did. Snow then looked at Flare, putting the fire poison away and showing her joy at having the last thing she needed. "And that's that! Now I just gotta have Rocky help fix the device when we get back!" Flare and Snow walked off with Flare still looking concerned about what Miranda was like. Snow took notice of this and was quick to ask about it. "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Flare replied, not wanting to worry Snow. He was still worried about what Melinda was getting at though. Did dad, do something before he was born?

Wave's house was shown as Flare and everyone else was then revealed eating lunch inside with Flare biting into a triple mushroom bacon cheeseburger. Snow was also letting Richie know about how she finally got the last of what she needed for her device, and Richie was happy for her. Now she could finally find out where Charm was holding Everest and save her. "I can already tell the others will be ready to help find her. Just give me the word and I'll make a request to Ryder."

"Pssh. Screw that!" Snow exclaimed, pulling out her pup phone and revealing the text she sent to Ryder. "I already made it. As soon as this device is done and I find out where Everest is, it's go time!" Richie was quick to accept Snow's hi five for that. As was Flare when she gave one to him.

Flare then decided to ask mom about how Miranda knew his dad. He felt it wouldn't hurt since he just got back from where he heard she was at. "Hey mom. You remember that lady named Miranda? (Wave looks at Flare with concern) The one you said to stay away from."

"Yes. I don't want you to get trapped by one of her supernatural curses." Wave stated, and she tried to keep herself from losing it. She seemed to have a look of guilt on her face, but she hid it the best she could for her kids. "Please tell me she didn't hurt you or Snow."

"No; we're fine." Flare assured his mother, who was relieved to hear that as Flare then asked about Blaze, which caught Marshall and Margareth's attention. "Did she... know dad before she isolated herself?"

Wave managed to hide her guilty feelings and responded to Flare the best she could without revealing anything. "She did, yes. She was the most affected by the incident that took place ten years before you were born."

Flare could feel what his mom was feeling and decided to stop there. He didn't want to make his mother start crying form terrible memories, and just got back to eating. He felt awful for making his mom feel this way. "Sorry. I bet it was a touchy subject."

"Don't be sorry. You deserve to know about your dad." Wave responded, and Marshall put a paw on Flare's shoulder to let him know that he was okay. Margareth did the same, and Snow had to admit that she felt a bit of envy. She wished she could have a family who was this nice to her and Everest before she joined the Paw Patrol.

The next day, Flare and the others arrived back in Adventure Bay, and Snow made her way to Rocky's room. She knocked on his door, and Rocky was quick to answer. When she showed him the device, he instantly knew what she needed with Snow revealed to have an optimistic and hopeful look on her face. She pulled out the fire poison and let Rocky know that she was ready to finish the device. Rocky smiled and nodded, allowing Snow into his room and closing the door so they could get to work. Snow was just one step closer to finding her older sister.

And nothing was going to stop her now.

Three days later, the Paw Patrol lookout was shown with music heard from the inside, and Flare and Marshall were then shown singing and dancing together as a video game played the music for the song they were singing together. The song was seemingly an upbeat, classic guitar melody that put everyone else in as good of a mood as Flare and Marshall. "'Cause no one in this world can make me feel loved in the way that you dooo now; no, no one in this world can make me come down when I'm in this so good, good mood now."

As the song was playing, Snow rushed into the room and announced her discovery. "Guys; I found her! I know where Everest is!"

Flare was ecstatic to hear that, as were the others in the room. Flare paused the game after grabbing the controller, and when he did, three more lyrics played. "Hop in my-"

After Flare paused the game, everyone in the room, which was basically everyone in the Paw Patrol, and Flare, joined by the couch as Snow explained the location. "Apparently she's in this fortress lying in a place called Prison City." Rocky instantly got goosebumps from the sound of that place with Zuma taking notice and putting his paw on Zuma's as Snow continued. "Charm must've been born here, since-" Snow instantly flinched after mentioning that, and then looked at Rocky with a concerned look on her face. "...is this where you ran away from?"

Rocky nodded his head yes with him then stating that he would try to power through that for Snow. "I can get through it for one mission. Everest's life is what matters most."

Snow looked at Ryder, who was ready for the mission whenever she was. "Hey. Whatever it takes to save Everest. If everyone's ready, let's get ready to move out."

Flare was more than ready to help Snow save Everest, oblivious to the fact that the team didn't intend to take him as he jumped off the couch and spoke up. "I'm as ready as I'll ever be Ryder!" As Flare got up, he turned to the others, who were shown to have looks of concern, and also looks of nervousness upon Flare wanting to come. This made Flare's face drop, as he knew what this meant. "I can't come?"

Marshall instantly stepped in, not wanting to disappoint Flare. He knew Snow was important to him, and that he promised to help as much as he could. "I know you promised Snow you'd help her find Everest in every possible way you could. It's just that... this is a base owned by Charm. And you've seen what he can do."

Flare was upset about this, and didn't want to let Snow down. "That's not fair Marshall. I can't just leave Snow hanging."

Marshall knew he wasn't gonna win this by being soft and started getting stern with Flare. "Flare, this isn't up for debate. You're still in training and aren't a member yet. You're not going, and that's final."

Flare didn't take kindly to that however, and he still felt he could help with the mission. "Yes I am. And I've also been making huge improvements in my training since I started. Don't start treating me like some defenseless little kid!"

"Flare, it's okay." Snow assured Flare, surprising him as she let him know that he didn't have to help this time. "Your life is as important to me as Everest's."

Flare sighed, but knew he couldn't argue much longer. He just nodded his head and responded "Okay. I'll stay.", before crossing his fingers behind his back, making sure no one else could see as he started putting his plan into motion.

Soft piano music started playing as the night sky was shown with the scene then descending to the cliff at the edge of the Paw Patrol lookout's standing as Flare walked over to it. Flare then sat down and looked at the stars as he thought about the pups in the Paw Patrol with a female voice singing Risks Worth Taking. He first thought about Snow. "This world has so much in it, that I have yet to see. And I have to be ready for how to act upon it, whatever it may be. (Flare starts thinking about Chase) I've made so many great friends, since I came to Adventure Bay. And when I start to help with missions, that will certainly be my day."

The song continued as Flare started to think about Rocky. "When things get good, and when they get bad, I hope they know that I have their back. There will be times where I make mistakes, but I'll work to get back on track. (Flare starts thinking about Zuma) There's no such thing as a chosen one, or any of that destiny stuff. I have to work to help this world, and that doesn't mean I get all buff."

Flare then started thinking about Skye as the song continued. "If I fall down, I'll just get right back up, and I'll prove to them that I'm a strong pup; and that I won't let the danger I face make me freeze and start shaking." Marshall then came up to Flare as the song continued and sat down next to him and rubbed his head. "And even if there are times when I struggle, I knooow..." Flare then yawned with Marshall smiling as he went back home with him to get him ready for bed. "that there are risks worth taking."

The title Paw Patrol X was shown with Paw Patrol being in all white and the X being in red as the last notes played and the daisy in Flare's right ear is shown laying on the X.

Rock music played as Flare started talking about what was going to happen in the next part as certain moments from the next episode were shown playing. "I know Snow said it was okay if I stayed behind, but I'm not just gonna sit around and let everyone else do all the work! I just gotta play it smart; make sure they don't spot me too soon, but also make sure that Charm and his troops don't spot me. Hopefully I can find the cell Everest is in and let the others know in time.

Flare then finished the announcement as the title of the chapter was shown in all white with Flare on one end, and Marshall on the other. "Next time, Saving Everest: A Promise Worth Keeping Part one! (Flare was shown to be hiding from a guard as he looked for the cell room in the fortress) Don't worry Marshall. I have a plan this time. Kinda."
