Fast paced and melancholic piano music played with Flare shown to be standing in front of Claw in the lookout as he explained something to the others. As Claw showed gratitude towards Flare's actions, a male voice began to sing A Second Shot. Claw was then shown messing with a West Highland White Terrier at the castle by making her step on a whoopie cushion. "I had such a good life..." The Terrier was shown to be annoyed, but after rolling her eyes, she smiled as she chased down a laughing Claw. "There was so much life for me to see."
Claw was then shown doing guard duties around Barkingburg as he protected someone from a rogue bandit. "I felt like I'd bounced back..." Claw was able to apprehend the bandit and even farted in his face when giving a lady back her basket of baked cookies. "From the past that was thrust upon me." A younger Claw was shown to be sad in the orphanage until the door to his room opened up. "After things changed again, I didn't know if I could have fun again, but then..."
A young girl wearing some kind of Princess tiara and a short blue dress walked over to him with a smile. "But then they came into my life, and guided me..." Claw gave a happy smile as he realized what this meant for him. "My doubt had met it's eeeeend..." The next few years of Claw's life were then shown, all the way up to the anger he felt when the Queen denounced his knighthood. It even showed him flipping her off as she disgustingly called him out for being a waste of time in her world. "It's sad that only one mistake is enough to change it all."
Claw was on top of the roof of the castle for his last day there as Charm walked up to him with a devious smile. "I wasn't sure if I had many other options left." Claw was shown being interrogated by Chase, who shook his butt at him as he then farted on him to get some answers out of him. "I thought I'd lost my only chance at a normal life to fate theft." Claw was then shown contemplating his life with the Paw Patrol as he sat down on the couch. "But could I still have that life? One where I... am loved by those around me? And will the two who convinced me of that want me to be free?"
Claw then thought back to when Flare stood up for him as the song continued. "Do I still deserve it? The Dalmatian seems to think so." Claw then thought about Charm and the words he'd said to him. "The Golden Retriever, is there a new path to show?" Claw thought about one moment each of him having fun with the pups as he thought about where he wanted to go. "Could I still have that life? The one that everyone had thought..." Claw's thoughts were then shown on both sides with Flare smiling on one and Charm giving a devious grin on the other. "that I'd deserve a second shot."
Claw was shown to then be looking at a picture inside of his locket that showed him with with the White Terrier and the girl who adopted him with a tear falling onto the picture.
