Walter and Ralph arrived at the garage just before 11.00am. Walter unlocked the door , opened it and disarmed the alarm . Ralph followed him in , this time he went straight to his desk and switched his computer on .
Walter smiled as he walked across to his desk and computer . " No run around the garage today ? "
Ralph looked up from his computer , a stern look on his face . " We have serious work to do , no time for childish things today . "
Walter's smile grew bigger as he replied . " Then we had better get on with it . You check the very first deposit and i will check the last deposit . "
Ralph , this time with a smile on his face . " Ok lets hope we can get a quick result , then we can look for a pattern again . "
For the next hour , both of them were quiet both concentrating on their computer's . Walter was first to break the silence .
" I have got through to the account the last deposit was paid from . "
As he finished speaking , Ralph also said . " I have just found the account the first deposit came from . "
They high fived each other .
" Ok, i now suggest we try and find out more about the people who have both these accounts . " Walter said .
" I concur . " Ralph replied .
After about thirty minutes , Ralph was first to speak . " The owner of the Account for the first deposit, was a drug dealer , who imported Heroin from Colombia . Unfortunatly he was killed in a shoot out with the police , six years ago . . We will still need to check to see if he made anymore deposits before he was killed . "
" That is good information Ralph . The account i have checked belongs to a Jake Summers , from what i have discovered he owns a large group of construction companies , all of which seem legitimate , so i am a little concerned why he his paying so much into Carlson's account ." Walter explained to Ralph .
Just then they both heard a knock on the garage door . Walter got up from his chair and walked over to the door . As he opened the door , he was greeted by the smiling face of Paige .
" Can i come in or have i got to stay outside . " She asked .
Walter stepped to one side and indicated Paige to come in , as she began to come through the door , Walter reached for the bassenet , which Paige gladly let him take it with its precious cargo .
" Hello , mom . " Ralph shouted from his desk .
" Hi Sweetie . " Paige replied .
Walter gently placed the bassenet on his desk , he turned to Paige a big smile on his face .
" Although it is very pleasant to see you , is something wrong ? "
Paige a even bigger smile on her face replied .
" No , but we were bored at home so i prepared a small picnic , which i thought my two boys would like to share with their two favourite ladies . "
Both Walter and Ralph immediatly said . " Of course . "
Paige asked Walter to look after Megan while she fetched , " The picnic " from her car . She returned a few minutes later carrying a large linen bag which she took straight into the kitchen . Again she wiped the table before setting out the food and drink she had bought .
She then called Walter and Ralph into the kitchen . Both were there immediatly , Walter carrying Megan in her bassenet .
" That all looks good mom . " Ralph said as he looked at the table .
Walter put Megan's bassenet on the end of the kitchen table , Walked over to Paige and kissed her before saying . " Ralph is correct , it does look good , thank you . "
Paige smiled returned the kiss and replied . " It is my pleasure . "
Between them they soon finished off all the food and drink . Once Paige had cleaned eveything away , she went upstairs to feed Megan .
Walter and Ralph went back to their computers . Walter turned to Ralph .
" We now know of three people who have put money into Carlson's account , i suggest we try and trace other deposits of different amounts , we can come back to see how much of the accounts have actually deposited in the accounts . "
" That sounds a good idea , do you want to check and chose the figures , then we can check one each . " Ralph replied a big smile on his face .
Walter bought up the account on the screen , before begining to scroll though it he turned to Ralph again .
" I think we should concentrate on the later deposits these obviously concern cases , that are either current or have only recently been closed . I am sure Katherine would prefer information on these cases more than historical ones . So for the time being lets concentrate on the last two years .
The earlier one's will need investigating , but at the moment the most importent thing is to ensure Carlson is removed from his position in Homeland . "
" Ok , let do that . " Ralph replied .
Before they had chance to start any more work , they heard Paige coming down the stairs from the loft . She walked across to Walter a smile on her face . " I think i will show Megan around the garage , were her mommy and daddy used to work , also were we had some of our happiest times . Then if you two don't mind , i thought i could then curl up on the sofa and read one of my favourite romantic novels . "
Both Walter and Ralph , with big smiles on their faces , said . " Of course not . "
" Then i will let you two get back to work . " As she said this she leaned over and gave Walter a kiss on the lips .
She put Megan's bassenet on her old desk and gently picked Megan up . " Do you want to see were mommy and daddy used to work ? "
Megan responded with a giggle and a Mo,Mo, Da, Da .
Paige laughed and after making sure Megan was safe and comfortable in her arms , she began to slowly walk around the garage , describing everything in great detail to Megan . At times tears began to run down her cheeks , as she remembered all the good times that had been shared in the garage . The most tears were shed when she looked at the door , she had left through with the rest of the team , the night she walked out on Walter . An action that turned out to be the biggest mistake of her life .
It was as if Megan could feel her sadness as she began to utter Mo,Mo. Mo, Mo.
" It is alright my little princess ,mommy is just being silly ." Paige told her , the tears still running down her cheeks , but a half smile on her face .
She made her way up the ramp and back into the loft , so she could tidy herself up a little . Thank god Walter did not throw any of my things away . She silently thought .
Neither Walter or Ralph had noticed Paige had gone back up to the loft , both were concentrating hard on their computers . After a hour both had traced one more deposit each and found information out about who had made the deposits . Walter had traced a $5,000 deposit to a company called Original Imports . The company imported furniture from India and other Asian countries and were located in Santa Monica .
Ralph had traced a $3,000 deposit to a company that went under the name of Stylish Imports , another importer of furniture from Asia .
Once they had explained to each other their findings , Walter looked around and almost shouted . " Were is Paige ? "
Ralph shrugged his shoulders , then at the top of his voice he yelled . " MOM . "
Paige appeared at the top of the stairs . " Will you two be quiet , you will wake Megan up . "
Walter got up from his chair and walked to the bottom of the stairs . " Why are you up there ?"
Paige a bit of a smile on her face . " I got a little sentimental and a little tearful walking around the garage , so i came up to tidy myself up . I put Megan on your bed , pillows either side of he, to stop her rolling off . Once i came out of the bathroom i found her fast asleep , so i have left her on your bed , she seemed so content . "
Walter smiled . " As long as you are alright . "
" Have you had anymore luck with the deposits ? " Paige asked .
" We have five names now , but i am sure there are many more . "
" Then you had better get back to it , but first could you bring the bassenet up for me . "
Walter gave her a smile , turned and went back to his desk , picked the bassenet up and took it to Paige .
By 5.00pm , Walter and Ralph had found another one name each who had made deposits .
Paige had bought Megan down in her bassenet and had written a report with the details of the seven companies who had put deposits in the Calson account . Walter had insisted on only one copy , which he took from Paige , folded it and put it into the inside pocket of his jacket .
Megan was awake and giggerling and uttering Da, Da.
Walter reached into the bassenet and gently rubbed her chest . " Hello ittle princess . "
Paige suggested they all go to Kovelsky's for their evening meal . A suggestion backed by everyone .

Next morning Walter took Ralph to school , as Walter was watching him go into the building , his phone rang , this time he realized it was his burner phone .
" Hello . "
Katherine " Morning Walter , i trust you had a succesful weekend . "
Walter " Morning Katherine , you could say that , it is a much bigger problem than we first thought , but i do not want to speak about it over an open line .
Katherine " It's that bad ? "
Walter " Worse ! "
Katherine " Do you want to meet ? "
Walter " Yes but i do not want my name mentioned , i would like to get Richard to ring you , on a pretense he needs some help from Homeland , as he will be dealing with two armies from Europe . We can have a meeting at Richards office . "
Katherine " Ok , i will await the phone call . "
Walter " Goodbye ."

As soon as Walter arrived at his office , he phoned Richard's secretary to see if he could go and see him . His secretary phoned him back five minutes later , to tell him Richard would see him now .
" Good morning Richard , thank you for seeing me so quickly . " Walter said as he sat on one of the chairs in front of his desk .
" It is always a pleasure to see you , i trust everything went well at the garage over the weekend ." Richard asked .
" The computers worked perfectly , we have managed to get some but not all the information , the job turned out a lot bigger than i ever expected . That is the reason i am here , i need another favour . " Walter told Richard a small smile on his face .
" If it is in my power , you know i will . " Richard's smile matching Walter's as he spoke .
" Would you phone Katherine Cooper at Homeland , tell her you need to clear something with Homeland as you have won contracts to supply two foreign military units with portable hoists and you need Homeland to confirm the orders are legal . " Walter explained .
Richard looked thoughtful and began tapping his pen on the desk . He put his pen down , steepled his hands and began speaking . " Why would i need permission to sell hoists to the military ? "
Walter's smile got bigger . " You do not , but i need to speak to Katherine without anyone at Homeland knowing , because i do not know who else may be involved . "
Richard remained silent for about thirty seconds , then picked up his phone . " Susan could you please get me Katherine Cooper at Homeland on the phone . "
" Certainly Mr Eli . " Susan replied .
Richard put the phone down and waited for the call . Less than thirty seconds later the phone rang .
" Thank you Susan . Good morning Ms Cooper thank you for accepting my call . Would it be possible to meet me at my office , i need to discuss two orders we have obtained from two foreign military units and i need to be sure we are not breaking any rules .- Ok i will see you in about ninty minutes . "
" Thank you Richard , would you get Susan to ring me , once Katherine arrives , " Walter asked as he got up from his chair and made his way to the door .
" Of course . " Richard replied .
It was almost two hours before Susan phoned Walter . Walter was back at Richard's office five minutes later , Susan told him to go straight in to Richard's office .
Richard was sitting behind his desk , Katherine on the chair Walter had occupied two hours earlier .
" Good morning Katherine . "
" Good morning Walter . "
Walter took a seat next to Katherine . Richard looked at both of them .
" Do you want me to leave you two alone so you can discuss your problem ? "
Katherine looked at Richard a small smile on her face . " Not at all , it is only due to you that Walter had the facility he needed to crack the computer's secret . "
Walter nodded his head in agreement .
" Ok, can i order you some coffee before you start . "
Katherine shook her head . " No thank you , i think i need to hear what Walter as to say , then i might need something a little stronger . " The small smile still on her face .
Walter reached into his pocket and pulled out the report Paige had prepared and handed it to Katherine .
" Here is a list , the only copy that as been made , it shows the seven different accounts that have made deposits into his account . The Squires deposits show ten different deposits have been made over a two and a half years period , at a total amount of $20,000
The others are only single deposits that we have managed to check , so they could have made multiple deposits . . It will just take time to track all the other deposits . "
Katherine opened the paper , the smile disappered from her face as she began to scan the list .
" This is really damming proof about Carlson , we need to get him removed from Homeland as quickly as possible . But who can i trust at the L.A. office ? " Katherin's face was begining to show the strain she was under .
Richard leaned back in his chair . " Just a suggestion , should you maybe push this up to your main headquarters in Washington . "
" i think you may be correct , but i do not want to use my cell phone as i cannot be sure if it is bugged or not and i certainly cannot phone from Homeland . "
A smile came across his face as he leaned forward and picked his phone up . " Susan could you get me Scott Walters at the Washington Headquarter's of Homeland . Thank you . "
Katherine's jaw literally dropped , once Richard put the phone down , she asked .
" You know Scott Walters ? " Her voice full of confusion .
Richard nodded his head . " I have known him for a few years , ever since he helped me out with a few jobs , before he gained the position he his now . "
As Richard finished speaking his phone rang .
" Yes Susan , thank you . - Hello Scott , i hope you and your family are all well . "
Scott " Hi Richard , yes everyone is fine , but i some how think this is not a call just to say hi ."
Richard He gave a short laugh . " Always business with you , i have Katherine Cooper in my office , she is Deputy Director at the L.A. office . "
Scott " Why is she with you ? "
Richard " Do you know Walter O'Brian ? "
Scott " I have heard of him , he was head of some sort of company that used geniuses to solve problems and did work for Homeland .
Richard " Correct , Walter now works for me , part of his contract included a house in Malibu . To cut a long story short , he or to be more precise his son found some very concerning details on a computer they found in the house . He passed it onto Katherine . I think it best you talk to Katherine now . "
Scott " Ok ! "
Richard " I will put my phone on speaker , just so you know , Walter O'Brian is here he should be able to answer any questions you may have .
Scott " Ok , good morning Ms Cooper Mr O'Brian . "
Katherine " Please call me Katherine and i sm sure Mr O'Brian would prefer Walter . "
Scott " Fair enough , would you like to tell me the problem . "
Katherine " Would you mind if i ask Walter to explain the situation . "
Scott " Richard is Walter trust worthy ? "
Richard " I would trust him with my life , he as helped me many times , before he joined my company .
Scott " Fair Enough . please tell me all about the problem and what you have found . "
Walter smiled at Katherine and began to tell Scott all that he and Ralph had discovered , starting with the discovery of the secret rooms . It took well over thirty minutes to tell Scott the information , as Scott kept interupting Walter to clarify certain details .
A very concerned Scott decided that he would send agents from Washington to remove Carlson from the office and put a full investigation into operation to check all of the L.A. cases .
Walter suggested that the agents should not be flown into LAX , because the number of L.A agents around the airport , news could get back to Carlson , before the Washington agents could get to the L.A office .
Richard immediatly offered to send one of his jets to collect the agents and land at one of the smaller airports around L.A. . He would have cars available to bring them to his offices , were a plan of action could be worked out and Katherine and Walter could fill them in on the details of the case .
Scott was more than happy with Richard's offer . He was going to work out a plan of action with some specially selected agents , he would phone Richard to make the travel arrangments .
Once the phone was disconnected Walter checked his watch and saw it was 12.25pm.
" If you will excuse me , Paige will be waiting for me in the parking lot , so we can lunch together . "
" Of course Walter , i will let you know when i hear from Scott . " Richard told him .
A big smile appeared on Katherin's face . " Will she have Megan with her ? "
Walter looked a little surprised at such a stupid question . " Of course , she is always with Megan . "
" Then can i come down and say hello ? " Katherine asked her voice full of excitment .
" You had better follow me . See you later Richard . " Walter said as he walked towards the door , closely followed by Katherine who spoke over her shoulder .
" Thank you Richard , i will keep in touch with Walter . Hope to see you soon . "
Walter and Katherine left the office building and saw Paige by the side of her car a big smile on her face as she saw Walter . At first Paige did not seem to recognize his companion , as they got closer , she saw it was Katherine so she waved at her .
Walter pulled Paige into a hug and kissed her .
" Katherine wanted to see Megan , before she leaves for Homeland . " Walter explained .
Paige smiled , walked to the back of the car and opened the door , leaned in and gently picked Megan out of her bassenet .
" Your aunty Katherine wants to see you and say hello . " Paige told her as she walked towards Katherine .
Megan gave a little giggle and uttered Da, Da.
" In a minute princess , first aunty Katherine . " Paige told her as she placed her in Katherine's arms . A bigger smile appeared on Katherine's face .
" You are gorgeous , i hope you are behaving yourself for mommy and daddy . "
Megan replied with a giggle and Mo,Mo, Da, DA.
After a few moments , she handed Megan back to Paige then turned to Walter .
" Enjoy your lunch , i will be in contact soon . " At that she turned and made her way to her car .

Grykon Sean i hope will be able to sort himself out , his talk with Louise seemed a good start . Some of the mysteries are begining to unravel .
Pearliegirl Fences at the moment have tempory repairs at present , hopefully Sean can prove himself to everyone . I am sure unless a baby is a genius you are correct . i will stretch the story as far as i can .
LouBe 96 the video call , i am pleased you enjoyed it . Megan is a proper little star . You are correct Sly was not my favourite character in the show , the actor played him well but i feel the script writers and director of the show concentrated to much on his phobies than the actual things he was capable of .
