Upon receiving the system notification, Morax experienced a mix of satisfaction and curiosity. His decision to choose Saeko Busujima as the first System user was influenced by her abilities and personality.
Aware that he would receive 10% of the benefits without actively intervening and by letting the system operate autonomously, Morax selected someone he believed to be useful. He had the option to choose the protagonist of that world but chose not to, considering the personality displayed by the character. For Morax, someone like Saeko seemed a much more accurate choice.
Next, he focused on the Character Panel.

'Heh, all the techniques I learned as Madara and replicated some are here on the panel,' he thought. 'As Staz, I managed to replicate only one of my techniques. And, the talent with Time Magic... I didn't even know I had that talent. Did it come with the system, or did I already have it?'
He reflected on various reasons that could explain the difficulty in using the talent with Time Magic, one of the main ones being the possibility of it being an innate gift, but extremely limited. Perhaps his talent in this area was so minimal that, although it existed, it was almost undetectable due to its scarcity.
"Morax-sama, we are here-nyah!"
Morax turned to the door, watching Kuroka and Shirone enter, their faces lit up with joyful smiles. It had been a year since the sisters arrived. In the early days, Shirone was introverted and melancholic due to the loss of her parents, while Kuroka was more suspicious and vigilant, showing affection only for her younger sister, Shirone, with whom she maintained a visibly strong and protective bond.
"You've arrived," said Morax, noticing that the table was already set while he was distracted with the system. "Have you washed your hands? No? Then do so and come to eat."
The sisters nodded and headed to the kitchen.
They soon returned and sat down, Kuroka to the left of Morax and Shirone to the right. Although they were next to him, the table, with four corners and a central space for a chair, highlighted Morax's position as the host.
"After eating, go take a bath, Kuroka. You're all dirty again," Morax recommended.
"I know-nyah," Kuroka responded, sticking out her tongue.
"Morax-sama is right, Kuroka-sama," intervened one of the maids, serving melon juice. This maid, with a serene expression and impeccable posture, seemed to be between 20 and 25 years old at most. Her hair was arranged elegantly, and her uniform was immaculate, reflecting a mix of efficiency and distance. Her cold, yet observant eyes, conveyed a sense of competence and control. "As Morax-sama's Queen, you should set an example so as not to disappoint him."
"You've said that several times already, Narberal. I am well aware, I am training so as not to disappoint in the Rating Game, right-nyah?" Kuroka retorted.
"Despite saying that, it's still premature. After all, Morax-sama has just turned 16 years old," Narberal replied, maintaining her neutral expression. "Even though he is a genius, and with high expectations from his brother, Ajuka Beelzebub, it's still early to think about the Rating Game. For now, you should focus on learning how to behave as Morax-sama's Queen."
Kuroka, a bit impatient, put her fingers in her ears. "Lalala-nyah ~ There you go again with the same speech. I got it, you don't need to keep repeating-nyah."
"Kuroka-sama," Narberal insisted, emotionlessly. "I say this for your and Morax-sama's good. It's important that you understand."
"Ahh, enough already..." Kuroka puffed her cheeks, clearly frustrated. "I already said I understand, no need to keep hammering it in-nyah."
For the first time, Narberal let her unchangeable expression yield to a deep sigh.
"Narberal, it's fine," Morax finally intervened. "We still have time to teach her etiquette. We don't need to force her to abandon what she likes."
Morax, with an understanding and protective attitude, gently interceded, showing his ability to balance authority with empathy.
"Morax-sama..." Narberal, though reluctant, could not disagree with him.
"I knew it, Morax-sama likes me more-nyah ~" Kuroka said, displaying a mischievous and satisfied smile, showing a playful and somewhat provocative personality.
At this moment, Shirone, observing the interaction, couldn't help but smile shyly, showing her reserved and sweet side. She enjoyed the family-like and warm dynamic, feeling comfortable and welcomed among them, a look of satisfaction and contentment lighting up her face as she slowly ate a toast with dulce de leche, resembling a cute squirrel.
As everyone returned to focusing on their meals in silence, Morax directed his attention to the holographic screen visible only to him. Through it, he observed Saeko Busujima, the beautiful young woman he had chosen as the first user of the Extraction System. Communicating with her through a kind of telepathy, he briefly explained the system's functionalities and assigned her a mission, offering food and water as rewards.
Although it seemed simple, for the hostile world that Saeko would face, these resources would be extremely valuable. At the start of her journey, that was exactly what she would need.
Turning to Narberal, Morax extended a paper where he had jotted down some quick instructions. Among them were requests for canned food and water bottles, as well as medieval weapons, with an emphasis on swords.
"Narberal, take this and bring it to my room," Morax requested.
"As you wish, Morax-sama," Narberal responded with her usual efficiency and inexpressive tone, accepting the paper and preparing to fulfill the assigned task.
Meanwhile, Saeko faced her first zombie, wielding a wooden sword. Her movement was agile and precise, as if she already had experience in this type of confrontation.
