Sorry this is late guys! I'd blame it on FF being down, but I've actually just been really busy getting ready for a trip to Edinburgh for a wedding. Hopefully, I'll be back on track for my usual posting on Wednesday, but I'm only back on Monday evening so if I'm a little late, cut me some slack lol

Thanks as always to my beta, CoppertopJ. Enjoy!

I awoke the next morning, feeling the sun shining on my face before I even opened my eyes. I looked around the room. Everything was white; the walls, the bedding, the billowy material that hung from the four-poster bed. The double doors that opened right out onto the beach, were open allowing some of the warm, tropical breeze to flow through the room. It was perfect, or it would have been if my husband had been lying beside me.

When I realised that he wasn't in the room, I listened carefully trying to work out where he was. I could hear some movement in the house so I knew he hadn't left. I decided that he must be in the kitchen making me breakfast so I quickly jumped out of bed, donning the pale blue, silk robe that Alice had packed for me, and headed out of the room.

As soon as I opened the door, I was greeted by the smell of bacon cooking, which was very welcome. I found Edward in the kitchen, standing at the stove dressed only in a pair of beige shorts. His hair was in even more disarray than it usually was, as a result of lying in bed with me all night after our midnight swim.

I shuffled over towards the dining table, sitting down just as he turned around and welcomed me with the most beautiful smile.

"Good morning," he greeted me, as he set a plate of food down in front of me along with a cup of coffee and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.

"Mmmm, this is nice to wake up to," I said, lifting the coffee to my nose and breathing in the strong aroma, "Not quite as nice as waking up beside you, but the next best thing."

"Well, I thought we could explore the island a little today," he said, "So, I thought I would get a little head start on breakfast. I've packed a picnic for us to take with us so we don't have to worry about being back by lunchtime."

"Sounds wonderful," I said, digging into my breakfast.

The island was amazing. Bigger and more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. We spent the next few days exploring everywhere.

We snorkelled. Well, I snorkelled, as Edward flaunted his ability to go without oxygen indefinitely. Edward would stay back far enough so that I could see the tropical fish in every colour of the rainbow, that would scatter if he was too close. We swam through the beautiful coral reefs, so vibrant in colour but tinted with a green-blue light, as the sun struggled to force its way through the water.

We hiked through the small jungle, finding a large flock of brightly coloured parrots that inhabited the south side of the island. They were amazingly beautiful as they flew between the canopies of the trees above us.

We explored some beautiful caves that were dotted around the edge of the island. We swam into them from the sea, even swimming through a waterfall to access one of them. Inside, they were striking. Stalactites hanging from the ceiling, stalagmites seeming to grow from the ground, some having met in the middle to form columns reaching from ceiling to floor, and crystal-like gems shimmered on the walls around us.

We watched the sunset from the top of a small hill on the rocky western cove. Edward had brought a picnic and I sat in his arms with a small glass of sparkling apple juice as the sun cast long shadows on the ground. The slanting rays of the setting sun gave a warm orange tinge to the sky and sparkled off Edward's skin in a spectacular way.

Finally, after almost a week of exploring, I convinced Edward to spend the day relaxing on the beach. We lay in the sun (after Edward had slathered my fair skin in sun block to ensure I didn't burn) reading, chatting, and splashing in the water. It was a wonderfully relaxing day, particularly in contrast to the busy, tiring days we had spent travelling around the island.

I rolled over, watching Edward as he lay on his front beside me on the sand, reading. He looked so relaxed, his eyes barely moving as they scanned the page, flicking through pages so quickly I couldn't understand how he was able to take it all in. I took the opportunity to ogle him since he was distracted, my eyes roving over his bare back and arms, his muscles taut as he held himself up on his arms. I bit my bottom lip in my teeth as I thought about how lucky I was to be married to such a handsome man. I glanced back up towards his face, feeling the blush sweep over my face as I found him smirking at me.

"Busted," he chuckled, setting his book down on the sand and turning to face me.

I rolled over, facing away from him in order to hide my embarrassment at being caught staring at him. Within a few seconds, I felt his arms wrapping around me and his lips being pressed into my neck.

"Don't be embarrassed," he whispered, "It's not like I don't watch you every moment I get. Though, when you are dressed in these skimpy bikinis, I need to keep my eyes off you otherwise I wouldn't be able to control myself."

As if to emphasise his words, he pressed his hardness into my back as his hands moved up, cupping my breasts over my bikini top. I gasped as my nipples pebbled under his icy touch, pressing though the thin material. His lips continued trailing along my neck until they reached the tie holding my bikini top up. Gently gripping the tie between his teeth, he pulled until it came undone and my bikini top fell forward, exposing my breasts. The coolness of his fingers, as they roamed across my breasts, contrasted with the heat of the sun beating down on us. I moaned as his fingers lightly circled my nipples, all embarrassment forgotten with his magical touch.

Just as I thought I might combust, one of his hands wandered down my body, stopping at my hip to toy with the tiestring of my bikini bottom. Pulling at the string, he exposed all of me to him, whilst his lips continued to kiss along my neck and back. He gripped my leg, pulling it over his so that I was spread open to him and his fingers trailed lightly over my mound of soft curls. He groaned at the feeling of my wetness on his fingers as they dipped between my folds. Slowly circling around my swollen nub, as his other hand continued its ministrations on my nipples, he had me writhing in his arms. He pushed two fingers deep inside me as his thumb continued circling my clit and soon I was teetering on the edge. He curled his fingers just right, hitting that sweet spot and sending me over the edge with a scream.

I recovered quickly, placing my hands on his chest and pushing him down so he was lying on his back on the sand. I eyed him as he lay beneath me, enjoying the view without the embarrassment this time. He was wearing only a pair of blue swimming shorts, which were fairly short, showing off his thick, muscular thighs. He stared up at me, clearly wondering what I was going to do but I just let him wonder as I knelt between his legs.

Hooking my fingers into the waistband of his shorts, I slowly pulled them down his legs, enjoying the sound of his erection flopping onto his stomach as it was released. I licked my lips before leaning forward and placing my hands on his thighs. He twitched in anticipation, and I wrapped my hands around the base, before licking the liquid that was seeping from the tip. Edward groaned, pushing his head back as I surrounded him with my mouth. His hands pushed easily into the sand at his side as he tried to cope with the sensations my mouth was causing. I loved that I could make him react that way. I sucked my cheeks in around him as I bobbed my head up and down, mimicking the movements with my hands. I continued my movements, flicking my tongue over his tip each time I reached it and soon I could feel him getting close to his release. With one final suck around him, he exploded into my mouth, his seed hitting the back of my throat and I swallowed everything he gave me.

Before I knew it, he had swept me up into his arms and was striding quickly up the beach towards the house, straight into the bedroom. He lay me in the middle of the large bed, towering over the top of me, love and lust very evident in his eyes as he pushed deep inside me, filling me with the sense of belonging that only came from being one with him.

A week later and it was, unfortunately, time to go home. It had been an amazing time on the island, exploring every inch of it, and each other, and we even spent a day on the mainland seeing all the sights that Rio had to offer. It had been an amazing honeymoon and, really, I didn't want to leave, but I did miss the family and I was ready to start my forever with Edward.

We left Isle Emse, promising to return again as soon as I was settled as a vampire, and headed back to Rochester. The whole family came to the airport to pick us up, demonstrating how much they had missed us both.

Once back at the Cullens house, we told them all about our time away before starting to discuss our next move.

"We need somewhere remote," Carlisle began, "Far enough away from humans to give Bella time to adjust without fear of coming across them."

"We stayed in Alaska when Emmett was a newborn," Esme said, "Though I'm not sure how Irina and Tanya would take to that suggestion this time around."

"I hate that I have been the cause of the rift between you guys," I mumbled, looking down at my hands curled on my lap.

"None of that is your fault, dear," Esme said, softly, "You have been part of this family since we met you. We only did what we had to do; what we would have done for any member of our family."

I just nodded at her, though I still felt bad about it, but Esme's tone clearly meant that she wouldn't hear any more about me feeling guilty. I really did feel like I was part of the family now; no longer holding any resentment for their leaving me.

"Canada is good for wilderness," Jasper suggested, as he pulled up a website and started searching for properties. Everyone crowded around the computer to see what he found, but I just stayed sitting. I didn't care where we went or what the house looked like, as long as I was with Edward, I would be happy.

My thoughts wandered to my parents and how much I was going to miss them. I knew I had made the right decision for me, but it still hurt to think that, in just a few weeks, they would think I was dead and I wouldn't be able to see them again. For the moment, I was still calling them and talking to them regularly, but I knew that the time would soon come when even that would have to stop.

Edward looked over his shoulder when he realised that I was still sitting, coming back over to sit beside me and putting his arm around my shoulders.

"Everything okay?" he asked, pulling me tight against him.

"Yeah," I said quietly, "I really don't care where we go. As long as we are together."

He pulled away from me slightly, turning to look into my eyes. Despite not being able to hear my thoughts, he was very good at reading my emotions and thoughts just by looking into my eyes. As I had told him back in Forks, I had always been very easy to read and when he finally got over not being able to use his gift on me, he found that it was true. He raised his eyebrow at me and I sighed.

"I was just thinking about my parents," I said, tucking myself back in at his side, "How are we going to do it?"

I didn't need to explain. He understood exactly what I meant.

"I have thought about it," he sighed, "But we don't need to talk about it right now, if it's too hard."

"No, I want to know," I said, taking a deep breath. I knew it would be hard, but it was part of the decision I had made.

"I thought that once we find somewhere to live, you and I can head there alone," he began, "The rest of the family can stay here and fake our deaths. They will need to be around for the funerals so it doesn't look suspicious."

I looked up at the rest of the family, who had all stopped looking at the computer and turned to listen to our conversation.

"Are you guys okay with that?" I asked, "It's a lot to ask of you."

"You are family," Carlisle said, "We do anything for our family."

"How do we fake our deaths?" I asked, thinking that this all sounded like something out of a movie.

"I thought a boating accident would work well," he said, clearly having thought a lot about this, "That way we don't have to worry about bodies as they will just be presumed lost at sea."

There were murmurs of agreement throughout the room and I sat as they discussed the ins and outs of how they would plan it all, but I tuned it all out. I didn't really want to know all the details and I was glad that I wouldn't have to be involved in much of it. I only tuned back in when I heard someone talking directly to me.

"Bella, do you think you would be able to mention a boat trip to your parents on the phone?" Carlisle asked.

Before I even had the chance to answer, Edward turned to look into my eyes, "Answer honestly," he said, "If you think it would be too much for you, that's okay." I smiled at his over-protectiveness, gently rubbing his cheek before turning back to Carlisle.

"Yes, I can do that," I told him, "I don't want to be involved in the rest of it if it can be helped, but that's the least I can do when you guys are doing so much for me. Thank you."

Over the next few weeks, Jasper searched for somewhere for us to live. Some of the family had their requests about the property; Emmett wanted somewhere with bears close by, and Alice wanted a large closet to hold all of her clothes. However, the main stipulation was that it was remote enough for a newborn vampire.

Eventually, Jasper had found what seemed to be the perfect place. It was situated in Northern Canada, which suited Emmett as he would be able to hunt his favourite prey. It came with a large area of land and was surrounded by forest, so it would be perfect for hunting.

The main house was beautiful, a contemporary mix of wood and black elements, with lots of straight lines and right angles, that stood out against the softer lines of the forest surrounding it. There were large windows all around the house, fitting the usual aesthetic for my vampires, and giving beautiful views of the forest. The interior was fully furnished with modern furniture and appliances, meaning that there was little to no work needed before we could move in. It was also complete with a large walk-in wardrobe attached to one of the bedrooms, which would keep Alice happy and, in turn, keep the rest of the family happy, because when Alice was unhappy the rest of us knew about it.

Also, included with the property was a small rustic cottage that was made from the same wood as the trees surrounding it, making it blend in with the forest; a complete contrast to the main house. It was tiny, consisting of only a living/kitchen area, one bedroom, and a bathroom, but I had fallen in love with it the second I had seen it on Jasper's computer screen, though I didn't say anything.

Once everything had been finalised on the property, Edward and I packed up all our things, getting ready to head to Canada, and leaving the rest of the family in Rochester to enact the plan.

I spoke to both of my parents, telling them that Edward had surprised me with a yacht trip for Valentine's Day. I struggled through both conversations, holding Edward's hand during them to help give me the strength to get through it. When I hung up the phone for the second time, I burst into tears, sobbing into Edward's shoulder.

"Are you really sure about this?" he whispered, his voice breaking, when my sobs had quietened down a little, "I would never hold it against you if you changed your mind. There's still time."

"I've never been more sure of anything in my life," I promised, looking up at him so he could see the truth in my eyes, "It's just hard to let them go. But, I am ready to start my forever with you."
