Well, you've had to wait almost a month for a new chapter... To be honest stuff happened, but not really, cause I'm on a downward spiral that's about to fucking crash, so it can only get better from here on out, right? I really fucking hope so cause me left wrist is looking way too smooth for some cursed reason... If you want some more info you can head on to Ao3 where I've explained the situation with a bit more detail. I didn't want to just post a fake chapter to explain it here, so I kinda left you all hanging. I'll try to not let it happen again.
Let's answer the comments and carry on with the chapter already:
Squaretree - It'd be even funnier if her pregnacy lasted like three days instead of nine months, but alas I have no intention of anyone getting pregnant during the fic, maybe in some epilogue, but I doubt that.
SonixMax - Either that or there better be some pheromones or some shit in the air.
UraharafanXDXDXD - It's that kind of awkward point where you've already slept with each other and the word 'love' was mentioned, but neither of you have put a label on the relationship. I didn't have to deal with it, but I figure out it's kind of confusing for all parties involved?
kuu - No, no. Thank YOU for reading.
solbandgus - I'm pretty sure you're not the only one. Though now they'd have to find the 'day after' berry.
Guest - I feel you. I'm a big fan of the 'twelve inch bitch breaker of a cock Midoriya', but I figured that keeping it kind of realistic to start off would be a good move. You don't go from being a master baiter to Johnny Sins level of skill in one night.
Queztlecoatl - I love the name, hate writing it. Sounds really cool though, like most Aztec-ish names. And I think they lost their Vs a couple of chapters ago already.
sanguinex - You need to more of this fic and I need to get around to writing shit again. Oh hey, here's a new chapter.
PasiveNox - I see someone's been busy binging a fic. Can't blame ya, I do it all the time. Hope you'll stick around till the end.
dragonsluv98 - Your hoping paid off. Now I'm the one hoping you'll enjoy it.
And now the chappie:
It's been almost three weeks since Momo awoke in her cave-room after being transported to this strange land that seemed to follow no rules at all.
She worked hard so as not to become a burden and even came up with the idea to conduct rudimentary research on the plants that they encountered on a day to day basis in case any of them could be potentially useful to them.
One of the biggest discoveries they made was the especially adhesive resin produced by one of the trees growing not that far from their shelter. She was gushing about all the possible uses of glue, but her enthusiasm was quickly cooled down by both Mina and Izuku as they explained that they didn't have the stuff necessary to bring out the full potential of that resin.
She was understandably saddened by the news, but decided to start collecting some of it regardless in case they managed to figure out a way to use it in the future. The future seemed to come sooner than she expected however as she got some time to herself whenever Mina and Izuku would vanish out of a sudden and she spent a good part of it thinking.
Her love for romance novels sometimes pushed her to read things that nobody would expect her to know about and one such thing was this strange, yet very interesting book about a giant group of friends being dropped naked into a tropical island and having to survive on their own. She forgot the title, but one sentence stuck with her like velcro - nothing is truly useless when it comes to survival.
When she remembered that phrase it was as if someone turned on a light in a room that was previously pitch black because her mind started racing and coming up with one idea after the other! She could barely contain her excitement and wanted to share her thoughts with her friends, but noticed that both of them were looking weirdly anxious. She tried confronting them about it, but they said that everything was fine, even though it was blindingly obvious that something was going on.
Still she decided to respect their boundaries and not press them about the issue, hoping that they'd be able to resolve it on their own. Meanwhile she'd be busying herself with trying to remember and make heads and tails of everything that her mind was throwing her way.
Conveniently she managed to find a notebook and a pencil in the pile of possible-useful-stuff and made sure to write down only the most complex ideas that she could easily forget so as not to fill out the pages in a couple of days.
Despite being unable to use her Quirk for the past three weeks she got a similar rush of excitement as the one she usually felt when pushing the boundary of Creation just a tad bit further. And that wasn't all there was to it. She felt light-headed most of the time, but not the 'about to pass out' light-headed. It was as if she was being injected with pure adrenaline every now and then and it made her head spin as she jotted down notes. And to top it all off she could feel a grin creep onto her face from time to time.
In a sudden moment of clarity, Momo thought back on all of those symptoms and tried to figure out what was going on with her. She thought about it thoroughly for about five seconds until another idea popped into her head and she all but forgot about her condition.
As Momo was keeping herself occupied with becoming a prehistoric mad scientist, Mina and Izuku snuck out to discuss the cause of their anxiousness.
"My belly is not gonna suddenly bloat after being pregnant for a week you know?!" The pink-skinned woman stated with mild irritation in her voice.
"How do you know? What if this place has its own rules about that too?" Izuku grunted in response as his hands kneaded her juicy cheeks.
"Huh, I don't know how I managed to forget it but I haven't had my period ever since I woke up here. And it's not like I could've gotten pregnant before I came here, what with me not having a boyfriend for the entirety of UA." Mina said and both of them froze.
"Now that you mention it, I haven't shaved for almost a year and my face is as smooth as it was the day I got here… Could it be that time has stopped for us? But then how are the berries and other things regrowing so quickly?"
Mina noticed that Izuku was starting to speak faster and faster with each question so she decided to bring him down to earth before he ran away on a theoretical tangent. And what better way to do just that than with a kiss?
She cut off his access to oxygen for a solid half a minute before letting him breathe once again. Mina had to admit that watching the lust pour back into his eyes was a massive turn on. She still couldn't believe that she had the power to make one of the smartest guys she knew forget about everything else and focus on her and her only.
"You're right, I'll have plenty of time to think about all of this later. Maybe tomorrow." He said with a smirk and dived down to kiss the absolute hell out of her sensitive neck.
Mina didn't even have time to reply as his hands caught second wind and attacked all of her most sensitive spots and reduced her to a moaning mess of a woman. One that had a very caring and sensual partner.
Momo was a patient person most of the time - she managed to put up with Mineta for three years afterall - but even she had her limits. Strangely enough said limits seemed to be greatly reduced ever since she woke up in this strange place and she found herself getting irritated quite quickly.
That's why as soon as she noticed that Mina and Izuku seemed to resolve the cause of their anxiousness from earlier on in the week she decided to introduce her ideas to them. And oh boy were there a lot of them.
She compressed a week's worth of ideas into a fifteen minute speech that left Mina absolutely confused and Izuku just on the edge of ending up in a similar state.
"I'm not sure I got everything you were trying to say so would you mind if we went over one idea at a time?" Izuku asked with a sheepish smile on his face.
"Y-Yeah, what he said…" A still dazed Mina seconded her lover's proposal.
"Sure!" An oblivious Momo exclaimed. "I thought that we could do some quality of life changes around the place since we don't know how long we might have to stay here. Normally I would suggest starting with securing a source of drinkable water, but that's already provided by the river. It's a bit far however, so I came up with the idea of creating a pipeline that could transport the water directly to the cave!" She explained the first complex project she found in her messy notebook.
"And how do you want to do that?" Izuku questioned further, seeing some sense in the idea so far.
"With bamboo! I was on a walk one evening and found a decent patch of bamboo not far from here, talk about convenience, so I figured we might use it to create the pipes and connect the segments with that sticky resin Mina found last week."
"Huh, I believe I've explored every nook and cranny and I don't recount ever even seeing bamboo…" Izuku mumbled to himself. He decided not to dwell on the subject too long.
Momo didn't rediscover the wheel or anything of the sorts, but she had the right mindset. He was stuck here for almost a year at this point and still didn't have even the slightest idea how they could go back to their world. It made sense that they might as well make their stay here at least a bit more comfortable.
"I didn't understand much of what you were saying for the past fifteen minutes but I have trust in Yaomomo!" Mina suddenly exclaimed after her reboot had completed.
"Never change." The two of her friends thought simultaneously at the outburst.
Seconds later Izuku's mind came up with an issue that was best to be resolved at the earliest stage of planning.
"I assume that you want to force the water all the way here with gravity seeing as we can't really make a pump, correct?" Momo nodded which prompted him to continue his train of thought. "How do you want to mount the bamboo pipes in the air? The waterfall is quite far away so you'd need to start the pipeline pretty high to make sure the water flows effortlessly and building giant supports doesn't seem very doable."
"Oh, I found some climbing gear whilst rummaging through that pile of stuff-that-has-yet-to-be-useful so I thought we can just lead the pipes along the cliff. For all its sturdiness bamboo is actually quite light, so I thought we could just spend some climbing anchors and attach the pipes to them with a rope or something."
"That sounds like a good idea, but there's a small problem. I have no idea how to use climbing gear so I won't be able to mount the pipes myself."
"I can just teach you! My parents own a small estate in the Alps and we used to go there every year when I was younger, so although I'm a bit rusty I'm sure I still can teach you the necessary basics!" Momo explained, casually flaunting her wealth without even knowing.
"Never change." Now Mina and Izuku thought in perfect sync.
"Works for me." Izuku stated with a smile. "I'll be in your care then!"
As it turned out Momo was not only a great teacher when it came to theory, but practical skills as well. It took Izuku only half a week to master the basics of not falling off the side of a cliff. Now came the harder part - actually creating the necessary infrastructure.
As Momo stated when they first discussed the project, bamboo was really light despite being quite tough. It was a good thing of course as it meant that it won't give out as soon as the water starts flowing through it, but cutting it was going to be a major pain in the ass. Especially without tools.
Fortunately they had Momo, whose brain was possibly even bigger than her bust and for a good reason too. When Izuku was busy trying to learn how not to kill himself while using climbing gear she was busy creating primitive tools from rocks and sticks. The problem was that rocks were blunted after only a couple of hits and lost their cutting ability quickly.
Momo, being the genius she is, suggested a possible solution.
"What if we used those glowing crystals?" She popped the question all of a sudden as they prepared for another day filled with work.
"For what exactly?" Mina questioned after releasing a heavy yawn.
"To make an axe for Izuku to cut down the bamboo with of course!" She explained as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, because it was. At least to her and her slightly mad genius.
"Wouldn't we need a pick to mine it first?" Izuku questioned with skepticism. "I tried breaking a part of it off with a rock before and it didn't even crack."
"We've got the climbing pick. It should do just fine!" As always, Momo seemed to have thought of everything. Yet Izuku still had one last issue to bring up.
"Okay, but how am I supposed to reach them? I know I've had a growth spurt as we started our third year, but I'm still not at Shoji's or Koda's height. And I bet even they'd have trouble reaching that high!"
"Don't worry about that, I've found just the thing in the pile of supposedly-useful-stuff-that-has-yet-to-earn-its-name." Yaoyorozu stated and then proceeded to pull out an entire fucking step-ladder out of their not-so-neatly put away supplies.
"I can work with that." Izuku answered blankly, too scared to ask any more questions.
As it turned out the climbing pick was enough to not only crack the glowing crystals above but also completely chop off entire chunks! And guess what? They regrew almost instantaneously! They were a bit tough to sharpen, but didn't go blunt after a few strikes either, so Momo counted it as a win.
Now that Izuku was armed with a hatchet the… wait. When you cut down forests it's deforestation. What do you call cutting down bamboo forests? Wait, they are still forests, so deforestation should still apply, right?
"Don't look at me." Momo stated bluntly. "I studied Science and not Liberal Arts."
Fair enough.
No matter what it was called, Izuku was doing it in record time and the construction was going just fine. Although they had to admit that work got a tad bit more tiring with each day. They all seemed to sweat more no matter what they did and satiating their thirst was becoming weirdly difficult.
They ignored that gnawing feeling of dryness for the most part, but couldn't omit the fact that Izuku almost passed out one day when hauling some bamboo piping to its destination.
They didn't have to think too hard to figure out what was going on.
They've been struck by a sudden heat wave. Another extreme weather event that posed a vastly different threat from the monsoon season that Izuku and Mina had to withstand before Momo's arrival.
This was no regular heat wave however.
When the monsoon first hit and brought a never ending rain with it, it took a couple of days for the water level of their safety river to start rising. A similar anomaly happened this time. Their river was as cold - or even colder! - as usual despite the twin suns raining down on the ground mercilessly.
They didn't know if it'll stay that way, but getting a supply of cold water directly to their cave was no longer considered a luxury, but a necessity if they were to survive this scorching heat.
The pipeline ran just beneath the line of leaves which provided shelter from the suns, but did nothing to dissipate the all-encompassing heat. That's why the trio decided that it would be safer to work during the night when the temperature dies down a bit.
On top of making them sweat profusely, the heat had the side effect of sapping them of their strength and even Mina was affected. Her normally bubbly and energetic persona was nowhere to be found after only a couple of days.
One of the more obvious things they could do to help alleviate at least some of the heat was to walk undressed, and while Mina had nothing against the idea, both Momo and Izuku immediately shot it down.
It took Mina by surprise as - at least in her opinion - Momo's hero costume didn't really cover that much of her body and Izuku had nothing, absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Still she relented and didn't mention the idea again. Especially after she realized that she'd suggested to her not-exactly-boyfriend to walk naked around another girl.
Needless to say, she decided to keep her ideas to herself for the time being or to at least run them by Izuku first before saying it to Momo.
Speaking off - it was almost four weeks since Momo arrived and Izuku, who'd noticed a certain pattern regarding the Flaming Rock delivery service, was growing anxious. Why? Because now wasn't the best of times to get another comrade. He believed they were already doing quite well between the three of them, even though Momo was kind of third wheeling on him and Ashido from time to time, but they could certainly live around that.
"I'm heading out!" Izuku announced as he was about to visit his vantage point and wait for the flaming ball of fire to fall down.
"Good luck!" The girls waved him off with gentle smiles on their faces.
He waved back at them before leaving. Mina sighed dreamily as she watched him go, which in turn prompted Momo to ask a question that was on her mind for a couple of days already.
"Is there something going on between you and Izuku?" She questioned with seriousness that Mina hadn't seen in the past four weeks.
"N-No, why?" Mina cursed herself for stuttering, but hoped that Momo would attribute it to her being surprised rather than lying.
"I simply noticed that you were way closer than I remember." The raven-haired woman explained and her friend breathed out a sigh of relief. Or at least would've if she could do so without raising suspicions.
"Well, the two of us had a whole month to get to know each other prior to your arrival and he did kind of spend half a year on his lonesome, so I guess he was really starved for some interaction and we hit it off really well." This was technically the truth, although devoid of certain eventful details.
"It must've been terrifying…" Momo said in disbelief. "I can't even begin to imagine what he went through…"
"Other than eating soap?" Mina joked hoping to alleviate the depressing atmosphere that began to set in.
It seemed to work as Momo chuckled not a moment later and smiled. But this was no normal smile. Mina saw some redness creep up Momo's cheeks after a few moments of silence, before her friend turned her head away in what Mina guessed to be embarrassment.
"Is something wrong?" She asked, mildly confused as to why Momo would act shy all of a sudden.
"W-Well.. It's just that… W-What I'm trying to say… I can't do this!" Momo lamented and hid her face in her hands.
"What's gotten into you?" Mina questioned further, now even more confused than a moment ago.
"I mean, you've been stuck alone with Izuku for an entire month, probably almost together…" Momo began shyly and continued after getting an affirmative nod from Mina. "How did you manage to not get… um… aroused?" She finally said and rubbed her thighs together.
"What?" Mina asked blankly, not believing her own ears. "There's no way she just asked that question, right?"
"If my memory serves right, then you and me along with Tooru and Kyouka agreed that we've had at least a crush on Izuku and all six of us stated that he's very, very hot, so I was just curious how you've managed to not get turned on whilst spending entire weeks alone with him?" Momo explained and Mina could notice that her face was getting redder and redder with every sentence that left her mouth.
"Is there any particular reason as to why you are asking me all these questions?" Mina asked in a strained voice that was a mix of jealousy and nervousness.
"W-Well, this is kind of embarrassing to admit, but I've found myself feeling Izuku up and I can't get the feeling of his muscles out of my mind and it's driving me crazy!" Momo finally exploded as an atomic blush, similar to one Izuku would sport on a daily basis two years ago, on her face.
"This is bad. Very, very bad!" Mina thought with wide eyes.
She hoped that this conversation would end then and there, before her friend opened up too much and said something she might regret later. As she'd soon find out, the conversation had just begun.
So Momo's becoming a mad genius and also horny. Who could've seen it coming?
I'm not 100% happy with this, but I finally managed to sit down and write shit so I gotta keep the ball rollin'.
Have a great day and I hope to see you soon in another update!
