It's I, the Absolute Madman and I'm here to report that today's batch of Stranded is definitely looking better than that steamy pile of garbo that I've served you all last week! But before you get to judge that for yourself - the comments!:
n1ght4ury20 - Sadly there'll be no smut for a few chapters now as we focus a bit more on the action and the transition to the second part of the story, but all the girls will get their rounds in in the future!
InsaneMakaioshin - I see the comments on both sites, aye, which makes me confused as to where I should answer them lol
DragrexTheBrit - Welp, 2AM to 12AM seems whacky as fuck. Probably the strangest working hours I've ever seen. I do 6 to 6 every time and it just alternates between day shifts and night shifts with free days in between, so I usually manage just fine, but those couple of nights were just kind of brutal as nothing seemed to want to go our way. At least I only had to endure it for two days, instead of a full week so that's that. And let me assure you that the fiasco from last week won't repeat!
Freddielebron - If it wasn't for the fact that I've definitely seen you here before I'd be inclined to say that you are new 'round here. Don't you know that making shit up as I go is basically the only thing I do? The only thing I have planned is a few Ibara-centered jokes, how to progress some 1-B relationships and a few scenes I'd like to include in the future, but not much more besides that. Is it a good writing ethic? Probably not. Should I change it and give more thought to my plot? Maybe. Will I do this? Hell nah. I wouldn't be THE Absolute Madman if I suddenly abandoned my way. Besides, I don't hear the thousand people that follow this fic complain unless I fuck up like last week so it seems to work just fine!
And with that out of the way - the chapter!:
Kyouka could not, in fact, explain herself. It's not like there was much explaining to do anyways. She did just get caught red-handed by the two smartest members of their little definitely-not-a-harem and it's not like you needed a genius to figure out what had transpired. The weirdest part about this whole situation was that Izuku did not freak out at all. Momo at least made an attempt at containing her Momentous Mammaries inside her hastily thrown on clothes, but Izuku on the other hand just stood there, posted up, dick out, body of an Adonis on full display. The sight made it even harder to try and find a believable excuse, which Kyouka failed to do anyways, so now at least she could get some eye candy as she prepared for the shouting to begin. Strangely enough, there was no shouting.
"So… you're into watching other people go at it?" Izuku questioned with all the seriousness of a detective on the trail of a homicide suspect.
"K-Kinda?" Kyouka stammered out a short answer. "It's not like I'm really into it and more like it just kept… happening to me…" She admitted, puzzling her two friends who shared a look of confusion and curiosity.
"What kept happening?" Momo delved deeper into the subject, her initial embarrassment slowly fading away and her curiosity taking over.
"I kept catching Izuku 'go at it' with you and the other two by accident from time to time…" She mumbled out.
"And how often is 'from time to time'?" Izuku questioned further, slightly embarrassed that he had an audience and didn't even notice it, but also somewhat proud that he could get Kyouka all worked up without even trying.
"Honestly I think that I managed to catch you every time you sneaked out to rock their world." Kyouka admitted with a deep sigh.
"Wait, does that mean…?" Momo couldn't get the words out as her previous embarrassment returned with reinforcements and quickly squashed all other emotions that dared bubble up within her.
"If you're about to ask what I think you were about to ask then yes, I did spy on you when you did it back at your old place the day I got here." She probably could've omitted that detail and thought up a simple cover story on the go but she found her thoughts occupied with something else at the moment. Mainly Izuku posted up with his dick out and Momo's barely contained Mommy Milkies.
"Oh god…" Momo whined.
"That's kinda hot…" Izuku blurted out.
"I know I should've probably announced the fact that I was awake or something, but as soon as I saw Momo riding you it was all I could think about… It was such a turn on that it instantly beat any porn I've ever seen." Kyouka admitted, suddenly feeling that being overly honest was the way to go.
"Hmm, was it because it was live or was it because of the people involved?" Izuku inquired, his eyes trained on her like a hawk.
"B-Both-" Kyouka suddenly felt that honesty could get her in even more trouble so she tried to lie. Tried.
"B-Both?" Momo echoed her response as if trying to decipher some kind of a deeper message.
"You're playing for both teams just like Mina and Tooru." Izuku finally realized with eyes slightly widened.
Kyouka, somewhat insulted by the comparison, felt that she had to defend her honor and correct his assumption.
"If I'm playing for both teams then both of them are only warming up the bench. They said it themselves that they are kinda confused about it whilst I have all of this figured out already." Kyouka explained proudly as if she didn't get caught masturbating just a few minutes ago.
But then she remembered that she did get caught masturbating just a few minutes ago and was now casually conversing with her two naked crushes which have been her fap material earlier and the embarrassment came back full force, covering her cheeks with a vibrant red hue that matched Momo's somewhat.
"You're probably a little weirded out by me, right?" Kyouka asked with slight fear creeping up behind her embarrassment.
"Why would we be?" Izuku asked matter of factly. "You are still you." He said it as if it was the simplest thing on Earth, which to him it was.
"I was certainly surprised when Mina and Tooru revealed what was going on between them, but I didn't have anything against them and I don't have anything against you either. If anything, I'm glad that you won't have to hide it from us anymore." Momo seconded Izuku's opinion on the subject with a smile.
"You guys are the best…" Kyouka mumbled out with slightly teary eyes as the fear was swiftly squashed by her crushes.
"That we are!" Izuku exclaimed and the trio laughed in high spirits. "We are also buck naked, so I think getting dressed would be a good idea." He pointed out, still somehow not bothered by this entire situation, and the girls almost went catatonic at the realization. The thought was definitely still in their heads all this time, but they simply didn't focus on it.
Kyouka had at least pulled up her panties after getting caught, definitely not thrilled about having her dripping pussy on display all this time, so all she had to do was pull up her pants and she was ready to go. And go she did, leaving Momo and Izuku behind to dress back up as their states of undress were way more advanced.
The emotional turmoil had exhausted Kyouka enough that by the time Momo and Izuku came to join the others in bed she was fast asleep with a soft smile on her lips. The sight prompted the two lovers to smile in kind as they laid down on either side of the petite rocker before drifting off to sleep themselves.
Izuku really didn't want to do it, but it seemed like Shuusa's ability would eventually be their only choice if they wanted to keep the water out of their base.
Their current drainage system was working overtime with no extra pay for a couple of days already and was just barely able to keep their cave safe but they were all wondering how long that stalemate would last.
Digging more ditches and laying additional pipes was surely an idea but Izuku felt as if that would only delay the inevitable. Besides, getting bamboo had gotten immensely harder in the last few days as the non-stop rain had turned the small clearing that separated their cave from the forest into a muddy minefield, where every step you took could result in you ending up knee-deep in mud. It was honestly quite surprising that they still managed to find a suitable path to get to the forest at this point!
Thankfully the trees seemed particularly thirsty this time of year and were able to stay on top of the ever increasing amounts of precipitation resulting in a definitely wet but otherwise stable ground all around. Getting your foot caught up on the roots that began rapidly growing in the humid environment was a different matter however. Especially with there being little to no sunlight underneath the leaves.
Overall, the rainy weather coupled with dark clouds overhead made for a pretty gloomy landscape which could easily bring down their morale if they were constantly subjected to it.
That's why Mina and Tooru figured out that they should venture back to their old domain and play in the snow. They were prepared to be swiftly rejected by either Momo or Izuku - or probably both of them at the same time as the two were very much in sync when it came to keeping order in the camp - but were surprised when the two actually approved of their idea and even stressed out the importance of relaxation at such depressing times.
The weather back in the previous zone was way warmer than when Izuku and Momo were doing their supply runs, but the snow somehow managed to tough it out and refused to move out. It was the best of both worlds honestly.
They did various things from forming snow angels to having an all out snowball fight and most importantly cooing over Izuku teaching Shuusa how to make a small snowman. She even materialized some of the stored carbon to use as buttons! They unfortunately lacked a carrot to give him a nose, but it looked excellent nonetheless. Besides, they had no way of knowing whether or not putting that final piece in wouldn't result in the snowman coming to live like a video game boss or something. Momo was constantly assuring them that for that to happen they'd need two cubic meters of snow arranged into two perfect cubes stacked on top of each other and then a perfectly cubic pumpkin of the same size to go on top. It was strangely specific with the dimensions, volumes and the shape but it was still far from being the strangest thing that Momo had ever said.
All in all, this spontaneous outing had resulted in a massive mood shift that lasted them a few days, after which they decided to do it all over again. It unfolded mostly the same way as before, only this time they made a bigger snowman.
This pattern of working and taking days off to relax continued for about two weeks till one day, when they were going to play in the snow once again, they found their old domain completely devoid of said snow. And as if their mood hasn't tanked enough already, once they looked up in the sky they noticed the exact same mass of clouds that had covered the sky over their current base.
Fast forward two days and their old area had caught up to their current one in terms of rain, leaving them surrounded and devoid of reprieve that playing in the snow had offered. And to top it all of now they had to make sure that they didn't get any water trickling in from behind.
The situation was looking quite, for the luck of a better word, fucked. And when even Momo resorts to cursing you know the situation is grim.
At this point even Shuusa wouldn't be able to save them. It looked like flooding was just a matter of time and the only thing they could do was prepare to run once their safety measures failed to withstand the tide.
The stalemate continued as they continued to go about their daily routines to the best of their limited ability. As they found out one day, even the trees started being overwhelmed by the rain and began to rot from the sheer humidity as the ground slowly turned to mud and cut off their access to certain very fruitful berry patches that they used to frequent on a nearly daily basis. It seemed as if their previously fertile and bountiful lands were turning into an inhospitable bog and soon they'd be unable to even step outside of their cave without their feet sinking into the ground right away.
With their future looking grim but clear they began making plans on what they could do once the shit hit the fan. Building a giant boat was still out of the question as their access to wood had been vastly limited by the muddy ground and they doubted they had enough time to build it anyway. Besides, none of them really knew how to build a ship so it was probably for the better that they didn't consider investing into the idea earlier.
They kept debunking each other's ideas and as their amount thinned out they were left with one pretty obvious choice - relocate. It was sound and basically foolproof, but there was one glaring flaw - where would they relocate to?
Both areas that they had explored already had almost united which left them with no alternatives. Except for one that Izuku had suddenly remembered.
"The meteor I found outside of our first area…" The greenhead mumbled out during one of their debates.
"What was that?" Momo, who was sitting right next to him, asked, just barely managing to hear him utter something as Mina and Tooru discussed something in the background.
"When the meteors started falling in pairs, I found one outside of our snowy, at the time, biome! Even if the invisible barrier between this zone and our previous one has been broken somehow then maybe that one is still intact!" Izuku explained excitedly, his energy quickly infecting Momo and catching the attention of others.
"That's right! If the rain first started off here and then traveled up the river then there's a chance that it has yet to reach that area!" Momo realized momentarily and her entire expression lit up in excitement.
"Exactly!" Izuku confirmed.
"I mean it sounds cool and all, but should we really be jumping head first into this? For all we know the weather over there could've changed as well." Mina, in a sudden and rare moment of maturity, chastised the two overzealous nerds, becoming the voice of reason that no one expected her to be.
"Yeah, I agree with her. I know we are on a tight schedule right now, but we should have enough time to make sure that this is a good idea, right?" Kyouka seconded Mina's statement.
Momo and Izuku were quite embarrassed at the fact that they got carried away so easily but it's not like anyone blamed them for it. They tried their best to figure out a way out of this sticky situation so when a ray of hope shone through they had all the right to be excited about it, provided that they didn't let it cloud their judgment.
"You're right. We shouldn't rush things just because they sound like they could work out." Momo commented, her excitement tempered but still very much there and bubbling inside.
"Especially since confirming what we know shouldn't take long. All we have to do is send someone to see what's going on over there and we can continue planning with that knowledge in hand." Izuku stated with resolve almost threatening to burst out of his veins. "And I guess that since I'm the only one that knows how to get to the other zone, I'm the best candidate to go and scout it."
Normally when Izuku would offer to be the one to do something the girls would be quick to jump and protest, but this time his point was simply too solid to try and contest. Izuku had the natural male ability to never stray off the path to his target and he knew the way already, so it was only logical that he'd need to be the one to go. Still, it didn't sit right with the girls, something that Izuku was quick to pick up on.
"I know you are not thrilled about this idea, but we don't have much of a choice." He said with a small smile. "I promise to make it quick, you won't even notice that I'm gone." He added and the girls relaxed somewhat at his words.
"Alright, you can go. But I'm coming with you." Momo stated in a voice that didn't seem to leave any room for arguments.
"No way. I need you back here to make sure that things don't get too out of hand while I'm gone." And with that Izuku was quick to shut down Momo's ideas about joining him.
"I'll go too." Shuusa, who remained silent throughout most of the debate, suddenly stated. "But I'm gonna need your gun mom." She added as she turned in Momo's direction.
The raven-haired girl first had to deal with the butterflies in her stomach that appeared there out of the blue the moment Shuusa called her 'mom' before she could respond.
"Do you even know how to shoot?" Momo inquired, genuinely curious if Shuusa's already impressive arsenal of skills included marksmanship.
As it quickly turned out it did as Shuusa had put on one hell of a show when they began throwing frisbees high into the air and their daughter managed to hit every single target, even scoring one double kill as the frisbees aligned just right. A quick round of applause later it was decided that Izuku and Shuusa would go to check if they were good to pack up and move whilst the others stayed at home to hold down the fort in their absence.
Momo even managed to fashion out two pairs of boots which had relatively large platforms attached to the soles to help distribute the weight evenly and hopefully prevent them from sinking into the mud with every step. Walking in them was wonky at best, but it was better than having to crawl through the mud, so the father and daughter duo accepted the gift without a second thought.
Just like they planned, Izuku and Shuusa ventured out right after breakfast, hoping to make the trip to and back before the suns set but prepared for the eventuality of a delay.
They wore the boots that Momo made which weren't perfect but did the job and vastly improved their mobility on the mud, Shuusa also had Momo's Tek Carbine slung over her shoulder, fully loaded and ready for deployment at a moment's notice and they also packed two crystalline flashlights in case the woods turn out too dark to navigate without an additional light source.
As they traversed the land they discovered that it hadn't turned into a bog just yet, but was definitely heading in that direction. Most of the ground up to their old base had already become mud so Momo's boots came in handy right off the bat, but the closer to the giant tree they got, the more solid the ground became and by the time they got to the forest on the other side of what once acted as their safety river they could detach the weight distributing platforms and continue without the cumbersome piece of equipment.
Shuusa quietly followed after her father, marveling at how sure of himself he seemed as they weaved between the various trees on the way to their destination.
Thankfully their journey was mostly uneventful and they soon arrived at the crossing point that Izuku discovered all those months ago. He was honestly quite surprised that he was able to find it this quickly, but he chucked it up to luck simply being on their side for once.
"Well, let's do this." He said with determination coursing through his veins as he grasped his daughter's hand and led her forward through the barrier.
They were immediately blinded by something as they crossed over and had to shield their eyes as their eyes readjusted to the sudden increase in brightness. They blinked the remains of their temporary blindness away and opened their eyes only to freeze up at the sight in front of them.
Everything was green. And I'm talking vibrant green. Really vibrant green. And the vegetation? Don't even get me started! The grass looked unbelievably soft, the flowers bloomed dusting the ground with a myriad of colors and they even spotted some birds flying about. Birds! The chirping was something that Izuku had almost forgotten the sound of and now that he'd heard after all this time he started to tear up a fair bit. If the area around their current base used to be paradise by their standards, then what could he have just stumbled upon? There were simply no words to describe the enchanting beauty in front of his very eyes.
"It's beautiful…" He heard Shuusa utter and he agreed with her instantly.
It was safe to say that their idea about relocating into this area was a good one. A very good one indeed. Izuku made sure to explore a bit of the surrounding area just to make sure everything was fine but didn't find anything out of the ordinary except a plethora of berry-bearing bushes some of them in colors that he'd never seen before, a news that would certainly make Momo perk up even more.
All in all, after being hammered by this strange world repeatedly over the course of the previous month and a bit, it seemed like the tides began to change and luck started to shift in their favor. It wasn't all smooth sailing just yet though, but things definitely looked better than they did a couple of days ago.
Ah, things finally look good for the gang. I'm sure only good things will happen from now on. *clueless*
Oh, I have an announcement to make. I'm cutting Reiko from the final 1-B roster. I just couldn't think of what to do with her in the story, so I'll just stick to Itsuka, Ibarra, Setsuna and Yui. Besides it makes the harem an even 50/50 split between the two classes so it looks even better in my opinion. Sorry to anyone that may have been waiting for Reiko to show up!
Dialing down the madness a bit - I have to say my 'thank yous' to you all once again as you've kept me going steady for nearly thirty weekly chapters already, so I hope you'll stick we me for the next thirty or how many more we're gonna have! You're simply the best and I'm proud to have such a big following. I'm not gonna call you my fans just yet as this is probably the first fic of mine that many of you have seen but that'll surely come with time!
