Thanks to Infinitrix for the compliment! I'll get right back to writing! Oh, Senshi get's a companion in this chapter. I chose the one I chose because I though the contrast between them would be good for Senshi and to spice this up a bit more.

Father Gascoigne reaches me and goes for another overhead strike. I dodge to the left, his axe impacting the ground as I cut at his right side with my scythe. He growls and shoots at me with his gun. I dodge it as bullets are apparently very slow in bloodborne and I block his approaching axe swipe with my blade. He recoils at my parry and I spin with my scythe to slash at his chest.

He puts away his gun and transforms his axe into it's longer form. Now having slightly more reach, he denies me any openings as he swings at me 'I can't get close to him like this!' I try to use the length of my scythe to cut at him but the shape of my blade doesn't let me get close. After blocking another slash I get an Idea 'It's stupid and silly but it's the only thing I can think of.'

As I continue to stay on the defensive I slowly move us towards one of the two only trees in this arena. We arrive and Gascoigne growls as he slashes at an intentional fake opening I left. The axe comes at me from the left but I jump before it can hit me. I hear his weapon cut into the tree and land on the handle of the axe.

I don't let him transform into his second phase as I decapitate him, his head lading a few feet away from us.

Boss defeated!

Rewards: Eldritch Umbilical cord.

"Nice." I breathe out as I appear back at the mossy dungeon room. I look at the last frame-less door and walk towards it. I enter and regain my vision at a large open space with bridges stretching between four towers at either corner of this rectangle shaped court yard 'No... it's not The One Re-'

Boss: The One Reborn

Reward: Companion Token, Eldritch Umbilical Cord.

Choose one power to keep!

"I can guess what the companion gem does, another sentient being always at my side... *sigh* I just hope they give me good benefits and are useful. Spoken like a true sociopath there Senshi." I choose my Hemomancy as this boss is just flesh and bones 'This'll be over quick.' A giant black orb appears in the sky as The One Reborn, a giant mass of writhing corpses falls from it.

I don't let it do anything as I crush it like a bug, it's body shrinking and compressing as it shrieks and tries to retaliate with its corpse throwing. I just swipe them away with my Blood Magics and continue insta-killing this late game boss "This feels awesome! So many hours spent killing you once, this is my revenge!"

I dodge another fireball from the witches at the top of the towers and halls and close my red glowing first to finish turning The One Reborn into a rubix cube. The annoying fireball chucking ladies also die with the corps boss as I smile at my quick victory "I like this. I hope I get a companion who's worth sharing these moments with and not some goody two shoes."

"So.. when are they going to-" I hear a large amounts of water stream onto the floor behind me. I don't turn around as something bumps into my leg, carried by the now dispersing water 'If I can guess who it is I'll get to eat some sweets instead of my normal diet.' I look at my leg and see a small figure with white hair and unusual clothing. It has a golden floating... crown? over it's head and some cape with a universe like effect "I don't use this often but... Observe"

Description: The yet-to-be companion to the traveler of teyvat. Though she will never meet them as you have... rescued her from drowning instead.

I deadpan "What." I see another notification before the little annoyance can get up.

Companions are loyal to you and can only be seen by you unless you allow otherwise! They may not condone your actions but will be forced to comply. They will slowly become more suited to you as a companion, physically and mentally while retaining their core personality!

'So she wont be annoying and useless forever? Good.' The little girls stirs and floats up to my head level, although with a lot of sway and shake. She blinks a few times before looking at me and around her for a bit "W-Where is Paimon?"

I sigh 'I almost forgot, she talks in third person for... some reason.' I then look at her. She turns to me and smiles "Did you save Paimon from drowning?" Her hands close to her chest as she leans forward.

I breath out once again 'Okay, positive attitude. She's cute... sometimes and I can laugh at her when she's stupid, so I wont be bored. Positives, Senshi positives.' I then finally reply "In a sense. And we are in Yharnam."

She tilts her head "Thank you for saving Paimon and all but... where's this Yarma- Yahme- Yharnam place? I don't think it's anywhere in Teyvat."

I smirk slightly "It's pronounced like this, Yar-na-m and your right, this isn't Teyvat, not even remotely."

She frowns "Then how did Paimon get here?"

I drop my smirk "I sent you here, though I wasn't aiming for you specifically."

Shocked, she points at me and shouts "So you abducted me?!"

I pinch my nose "Kind of? I- How do I explain this? I'll start with what your roll is now. You are my companion, if you want to or not I didn't get to choose either. You are bound to me and have to theoretically listen to all my commands."

Now she looks scared "T-That's evil!"

I shrug "I'm not a good guy but I won't abuse it. Now, to the part where I didn't get a choice. I have a power that let's me live life like a video ga- wait, you don't have those uhhhhh... Just imagine my powers like a god who gives me different powers for doing things and errands for him."

Completely overlooking her new enslavement she is intrigued "So like a vision that gives you visions?"

I shake my head "No, visions from your world give you elemental powers granted by gods. My power grants me the power to... receive challenges and quests from a very powerful god in return for any power you could think of."

Paimon nods "Okay, Paimon get's it."

I raise my eyebrow "You're oddly calm about this."

She nods her head "Well, you saved me so Paimon was planning to go along with you anyways. Paimon is just confused, where exactly are we?"

I nod "That's good. And we are in a pocket dimension of sorts. We'll leave in a bit I just have to beat another strong foe. I'll show you everything about my powers later, because we'll be spending a lot of time together."

She nods and a light encompass us. After it fades, Paimon looks dazed "What was that?"

"Teleportation." I bluntly say.

She accepts this completely and I enter the las door, the one framed in gold. After the flash of light fades we are in a field of white flowers with a hill leading up to a tree. At the foot of that tree sits The First Hunter.

Boss: Gehrman, The First Hunter

Reward: Eldritch Umbilical Cord, Burial Blade, Chikage.

I see he isn't moving and turn to Paimon, who is looking at the flowers "These are sooo pretty!"

"Sure they are but listen to me now. I know how much strength you have... or lack there of so stay out of this okay? If you want to die then go for it but if not stay at the edge of the arena."

Paimon is a bit confused but nods "Sure thing...?"

"Senshi. Senshi Kūsho. Forgot to even introduce myself." I chuckle and look at my new notification.

My hand crafted armor disappears and is replaced with the standard Hunter attire accompanied with the starter pistol and Chikage, the katana 'So, just like the first time huh?' I smirk.

*Paimon PoV*

Floating slightly above the entrance gate of this field of flowers is Paimon. As her new partner walks up to the strange man in a wheelchair she thinks 'Why would Paimon need to stay away from this? It's just a guy in a wheelchair.' Still a bit bothered by her removal from Teyvat she cant help but be angry at Senshi 'He forgot to introduce himself and tells Paimon he's Paimon's owner?! The nerve!'

She smirks as a new thought enters her head 'Can't Paimon just leave?' Immediately, a searing headache hits her 'Bad idea.' she's become sad at the though of her eternal enslavement 'Why do all these things always happen to Paimon?' she shakes her head 'Surely this can be good? Paimon hopes he'll be good to her.' she looks back to Senshi to catch the old man speaking to him.

His raspy voice intimidating as ever "You are not the Hunter but you are also no beast." he hums, the sound echoing through her soul "But I cant ponder, this dream demands I play my role..."

'Dream?' Paimon confusedly thinks. Senshi smirks "No, I am not your Hunter neither am I a beast. I do not belong here but I have come still. I have slain your monsters and now I am here to face you. I have great respect for you, Gehrman. Trapped in this dream for a god who tricked you. I hope this will set you to rest."

The old man, revealed as Gehrman chuckles "You know far to much child. Either way..."

He stands up from his chair, reaching behind his back for a weapon she can only fear "Tonight.."

The next words, even when she has not the knowledge of their meaning, make her shiver.

"Gehrman joins the Hunt."

'How can he walk?' Paimon wonders as the First Hunter fully draws his Burial Blade in it's sword form and walks towards Senshi 'For an old man, he sure is intimidating.' at a speed she cannot comprehend The First Hunter appears to the right of Senshi and slashes his blade at his throat. Senshi narrowly avoids by ducking and tries to swipe Gehrman's legs.

Not easily tricked, Gehrman dashes back. Senshi smirks and sheathes his katana 'Why would he do that in the middle of a fight?' the Katana exits it's hilt with a slash of blood. The blade now coated in a flesh like substance Senshi presses his reach advantage by using his blood slashes, with which he seems oddly familiar Paimon thinks, to hit Gehrman from a far.

The first few swings are dodged by the old hunter but when the Kūsho starts to incorporate his pistol it begins to overwhelm Gehrman. The now defensive hunter tries to get close and swipe at Senshi but fails as his leg is cut deeply by his sword wielding opponent. Paimon can hear an audible groan as he does something cool, in her opinion. With great force, he sticks his blade onto the mechanism he has on his back. When his hand returns from behind his back, he pulls an entire scythe with him 'That's soooo cool!' stars in her eyes, Paimon watches more intently.

Now having equal reach, both duelists clash blades. To her, it was like a dance she can only see blurs of 'Okay, maybe he's not so bad. This is awesome!' Scythe strike blocked. Slash dodged. Shot fired and so on. This continues until a light blue aura suddenly explodes from Gehrman after Senshi slashed open his chest.

The First Hunter regains the power from his prime and Senshi struggles to keep up 'S-Should Paimon help? Paimon doesn't really know him and he's basically enslaved Paimon but he's still somebody in need of help!' her good hearted nature and the coercion of the game makes her intervene. Without any sort of plan she starts to fly towards the fighters.

*Senshi PoV*

'Fuck! The second phase hits even harder in real life!' I tilt my head back a bit but my cheek is still cut by the swipe of the Burial Blade. I try to talk to Gehrman "Y-You're pretty go- FUCK!" I didge another slash "Buddy, are you with me?" I look at his eyes to see them fully blank and filled with the same blue energy that is emanating from him 'Possession, naturally.' I quickly refocus on his hands to predict his next strike.

I could not have guessed where it would land. I hear an 'eep' as Paimon, who is here for some ungodly reason, get's grabbed by Gehrman. He slams her into the ground, a crater forming around her. The crazed Hunter readies his scythe for a decapitation when I regain my composure 'Hell no! That's my emergency food!' I use his distraction to recharge my Chikage and slash at his neck.

"DIE!" I yell as the red wave of blood cuts through his neck. I could only see his surprised face on his separated head for a moment before it rolls down the hill. I start to regain my powers as my wounds steam and I fall down next to Paimon "You good?"

Paimon, sufficiently shocked replies "You saved Paimon twice... Paimon can't really complain anymore. Paimon's too indebted to you to do that."

"I guess we're good now." I turn my head over to her to ask.

As she floats up and I stand up she answers "Yup! We are now Partners!"

Another light flashes and I am not back in the ruins but back in my room "Well, this is my room Paimon, I need to train for today. There are two books under my bed, read the green and red one, they explain this world you are in now. DO NOT READ THE BLACK ONE! I still need to explain a few things before that."

Paimon salutes and I leave my room. Before going out again I check my notifications.

Burial Blade

A trick weapon used by the legendary first Hunter. Very accepting towards improvements. It has two modes, scythe and blade, switching between them requires precise timing. SPECIAL POWER ADDED AS REWARD FOR BEATING THE ORIGINAL OWNER: By killing an enemy with this weapon you can infuse their weapon into this one, the Burial Blade gaining it's special effects, if there are any.

I guess I have a new main weapon.

I like messing with Paimon every chance I get in Genshin so she's here, not only as comic relief but also just as a companion to Senshi.
