Chapter 12: Everything gets explained

While the trio waited for Urahara to clean up his house for the beautiful woman Mitch decided it would be a good idea for Ania and Tom to spar each other and gain some valuable practice while Hanza and himself decided to continue their little sparring rivalry they had been missing out on for a few years now.

"Well Hanza I believe the score is 20 to you and 19 to me so be prepared because I intend to tie the score up again" Mitch said while Hanza laughed "Yeah sure Mitch every time you manage to catch up I end up racing forward, face it you'll never be in front". Both men drew their blades out faster than the naked eye could see as they disappeared from view and suddenly re appeared in a massive explosion clashing blades together.

The ground shook and trembled from their sheer power and force they swung into each blow as Ania and Tom tried to start their own little sparring session but both were mesmerized by these two giants battling it out to actually bother. Yoruichi just sat there ever so calmly watching the adrenaline-charged boys exchange blows her eyes darting from place to place easily managing to keep up with their superior speed. Ania and Tom tried to follow the fight but every time they managed to find the two contenders they would teleport elsewhere.

"I see you haven't got rusty while patrolling around your area" Hanza said as he ducked beneath a swipe from Ashura and quickly took advantage of the opening swinging his blade up towards Mitch's stomach. Dodging the blade Mitch unleashed a hard kick to Hanza's face as he blocked the strike with his free hand then grabbing hold of the leg hurled Mitch downwards.

Hurtling towards the ground Mitch extended out his hand "Destructive Art 31: Red fire cannon" a much smaller red orb shot directly out of his palm. Through skipping the incantation his blast was around 75% of its full power but not chanting had caught Hanza off guard as the blow stuck his face sending smoke billowing out in front of him.

Crashing into the concrete Mitch leapt back up immediately and was planning to catch Hanza off guard utilizing the smoke as cover only to hear the shop door slide open as Urahara wandered out and gasped "What happened to my precious ground it's all ruined". Mitch just stood there rubbing his head awkwardly laughing as Hanza appeared right next to him sheepishly looking away while Yoruichi just shook her head. "Alright come inside before you two somehow manage to destroy my store also" Urahara said as all five of them walked inside his humble little shop and sat on the ground around a round table while Tessai the giant man wearing the sunglasses brought in a cup of tea for everyone.

"While we wait for the rest of the 11th squad to arrive I'll explain the situation that is happening in Soul Society" Urahara said as he took a seat on the ground and picked up his cup of tea. Taking a sip and placing it down he began the briefing "From what I know the White Lotus society has launched warriors against the outlying districts in Rukongai which unfortunately the shinigami's couldn't get there in time to help out and so they managed to establish a stronghold in a long since abandoned castle. Before they can launch a full on assault on Seireitei the Captain Commander wishes for all shinigami's to return and assist in the upcoming fight".

"I hear you even get to lead a small squadron of shinigami by yourself" Yoruichi said giving Mitch a nudge as he sighed "Apparently so, not that I'm looking forward to it" he said staring into his tea as Tom and Ania for a moment thought they detected a hint of pain and sadness in his voice.

"Lucky for us there are two more shinigami's to join the fight!" Urahara quickly changed the subject smiling and slamming his tea down as Mitch seemed to perk right back up to his usual self. "I'll have my hands full training both of them and trying to shake off all the rust from not being in a proper fight for all those years on patrol" "If there's anyone who can handle that it'll be you" Yoruichi rubbed his hair affectionately just as there was a loud crash outside and the door to the shop swung open with Zaraki lumbering into the room followed by Yumichika and Ikkaku.

"Oi, oi we are ready to leave yet" Kenpachi grunted as Mitch jumped up strapping Ashura to his back "Of course Captain, Urahara if you wouldn't mind opening the Senkai gate so we can be on our way".

Everyone climbed down a ladder into a huge room covered in dirt and giant cliffs as Urahara wandered over to a huge looking pillar inserting his cane into a crack and turned it to the right. A huge black vortex appeared as it just stood floating in between the two pillars while Tom and Ania gazed up at the huge dark abyss in awe.

"This here is the Senkai gate and at the end of the dark tunnel inside we'll arrive outside Soul Society so let's going" Mitch said as he leapt forward first and was swallowed by the huge black hole as his fellow 11th squad members and Hanza followed behind shortly. Tom and Ania just stood there slightly skeptical of jumping into a huge black hole which led to who knows what exactly.

"Come on now it's not so bad trust me" Urahara said as he rested his hand on Ania's shoulder in re assurance. Taking a deep breath both leapt into the darkness as it assaulted their eyes completely blocking their vision as they could see nothing and began to panic.
