Toshinori's Choice

Chapter twenty: The provisional license exams concluded

The skies above were still raining heavily by the time other pro heroes and various emergency workers got to Takoba National Stadium. By that time, there were still some Twice clones but they were quickly dispatched. The heroes who arrived were quite efficient, although even the greatest among them were horrified when they had come across all of the bodies of hero academy students slain in the attack on Takoba National Stadium by all of the Twice clones. All of the surviving students were accounted for, and their number made things even more tragic for the attack that the villains led by Dabi had launched.

There were a total of four-thousand six-hundred and twenty students at Takoba National Stadium, which normally would split that number up among two other stadiums so that each of the three had roughly fifteen-hundred. But all of the students were sequestered at Takoba, as part of arrangements made between various hero schools to try and ensure the safety of the students taking the exams. But that went out the window when Dabi and his villainous brood all came in full force to Takoba, despite how one of the other two stadiums being used as a decoy was advertised as the real deal. It made more than a few pro heroes more than a little suspicious.

But that had to be put on hold for now as, out of the four-thousand six-hundred and twenty hero academy students who took part in the provisional licence exams at Takoba National Stadium, only two-thousand three-hundred and ten of them had survived. That's exactly half of the total number of hero academy students who took part. Over two-thousand hero academy students were killed in the attack on Takoba National Stadium, a majorly massive failure on part of the pro heroes and the hero academies. It also gave the Japanese people a right proper fright, made the country at large worry that the villains were going to rise up and take the country over, and that the heroes wouldn't be able to stop them.

Toshinori, when he heard what was going on, drove with Naomasa like hell to get to Takoba, arriving just after all of the surviving students were gathered and taken outside following the attack on the stadium concluding. Toshinori was flooded with relief to see that his step-son Izuku was alive and unharmed, as were all of the other UA students. Various students from Shiketsu and Ketsubutsu, as well as a few others including two girls from the hero school Uwabami founded, are also among those who survived from what Toshinori saw. The car was parked, and Toshinori and Naomasa got up and went right over to the students.

The two men were greeted by Aizawa and the UA teachers that were at Takoba; Emi who teaches at Ketsubutsu was with them as well. "How many are dead exactly?" Toshinori asked.

"Two-thousand three-hundred and ten," Aizawa said in a grim tone, "Most were killed by Dabi's subordinate Twice who made loads of clones of himself, but a few students were confirmed to have died accidental deaths due to misadventure in trying to escape. Dabi had his two elite villains here, Usagi and Felgrand, but neither of them had killed anyone oddly enough." Toshinori's heart skipped a beat when he heard that Felgrand is now active in the current timeline, and Toshinori remembered in the alternate timeline how Felgrand had killed Bakugo and all twenty students in Class 1-B during the attack on the provisional licence exams.

But here, the Dragon of Destruction claimed no lives. Same goes for the Rabbit-Earred Giantess. Although all of UA's students survived here, it was still a terrible loss, and Toshinori was hurting over how, regardless of what all precautions were taken, not only did the attack on Takoba National Stadium occur anyway, but it was technically slightly worse in the current timeline here than it was in the alternate timeline. Looking to Aizawa, Toshinori asked, "Well what of the students who survived?"

Folding his arms over his well toned chest, Sekijiro with an unamused scowl on his face said, "The remains of the HPSC have ruled that, with the exception of all of Aizawa's students, the one-hundred surviving students who had directly encountered Dabi's elites over the course of the attack here today have passed and will get their provisional licences. The fact that they had survived a real attack of this scale ought to be proof that they can be trusted with field work right off the bat."

"Wait, all of Aizawa's students have failed?" Naomasa asked, looking surprised. Toshinori similarly looked surprised, as it meant that Izuku had failed the provisional licence exams.

The Blood Hero scowled again. "Yeah. All of the ball targets worn by Aizawa's students were hit with balls and lit up, thus eliminating them from the exams despite how the villain attack had interrupted things. That Mera guy said that the remains of the HPSC have ruled that Aizawa's students had shown that they need to be more careful in the field. They can still try for their provisional licences in remedial classes, though."

Toshinori had a look of curious wonder in his eyes. "...You don't sound entirely happy for a man who, being the Class 1-B teacher, have by default seen all of his students pass and get their provisional hero licences."

Gesturing to Toshinori, Aizawa said, "That's because we've confirmed that the reason why all of my students failed is because some of Sekijiro's students took advantage of the chaos from Dabi's attack to hit the ball targets worn by my students. My students failed because some of Sekijiro's students had sabotaged them."

"Class 1-B had sabotaged Class 1-A and made them fail the provisional licence exams?" Naomasa asked, looking shocked as did Toshinori.

...

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, YOU BLONDE HYSTERIC PIECE OF SHIT?!"

Over where the students were at while the police and pro heroes were still doing damage assessment, Class 1-A was standing opposite of Class 1-B. The highlight of the two classes from UA standing opposite of one another was Bakugo yelling at Monoma, who wore a smug and amused look on his face. "What's the matter?" Monoma asked in a taunting tone, "Are you upset that you and your classmates have been left in the dust as you deserve? Your class's time in the spotlight is over, as me and my classmates shall be taking the lead here and prove ourselves as being just as good as you if not more so!"

"You guys sabotaged us to get us eliminated," Kaminari barked, "Taking advantage of a real villain attack to use the chaos from it to cover what you were doing! We're peers from the same school, damn it! You guys should have been working with us so all of us could have gotten through things more easily, not screw us over out of pure petty jealousy regarding the rivalry between our classes!"

Pointing at Kaminari, Shihai said, "Monoma's got a point. It's about damn time you and your class took a step back and let someone else be in the spotlight for once! It can't always be about you and your class!" A few of the other boys in Class 1-B also looked to be in agreement with Monoma and Shihai.

Looking directly at Class 1-B with a disappointed look on his face, Izuku said, "We, all of us, were fighting for our lives. We could have gotten killed, a little over two-thousand other students from various hero academies were killed. And yet you guys decided that trying to forcefully continue the rivalry between our two classes was a more important thing to do than try and help as many others get out of things back there alive?"

"Midoriya, please," Itsuka said, looking regretful and pleading, "It's just Monoma and a few idiots he managed to convince to help him out that did this to you and your classmates! Not all of us in 1-B are in agreement with what Monoma and his group did!"

"Kendo, you have got to eventually realize that if they aren't stopped, then no-one else at UA will get to stand out as 1-A will always have all of the spotlight on them!" Monoma said, "It can't always be about them!" Turning to look at Togaru, Monoma said, "Kamikiri, you've been awfully quiet. You're always in agreement with me, Kurorio, and a few of the other lads."

Togaru wore an unamused looking expression on his face. "No, not this time," snarled the mantis boy of Class 1-B, "As much as I've been wanting to see our class score a win against Bakugo and his classmates, I didn't want it like this. I was hoping our first win in this regard would be sweet, but because you and some other idiots had to go and spoil it, this win if it can even be called a win just leaves a sour taste in my mouth."

Kirishima perked up a bit. "You specified Baku-bro just now."

"I'm gonna be honest," Togaru said, "I've designated him as my rival, the guy who I wanna beat. But if I do score a win against him then I want it to be fair and square, not because my classmates sabotaged him and his."

Bakugo looked like he was calming down a little bit. "...At least not all of you guys in 1-B are petty jealous dumbasses."

"Yeah, I ain't happy with what Monoma and a few of the other guys did either," Yosetsu said, drawing nods of agreement from Juzo and Nirengeki who stood with him.

Scowling bitterly, Jiro said, "But your class still sabotaged mine. We failed the provisional licence exams and you guys passed and got your licences. Just... just go away before you petty bastards do anymore damage!"

"It's not all of us as a whole!" Itsuka said, looking to be on the verge of tears.

Seeing the look on Itsuka's face, Shihai said to Class 1-A, "Hey, knock it off with trying to make Kendo cry!"

"He's right," Monoma said, "There's no need to make some of our peers cry just because you guys are sore losers who-"

*KABOOM*

Before Monoma could tell what was happening, Bakugo exploded right towards him, tackled him to the ground, and repeatedly punched him in the face before Monoma was able to slap a hand against Bakugo's arm, copy his Explosion quirk, and blast Bakugo off of him. Having heard the commotion, the UA teachers plus Emi, Toshinori, and Naomasa came rushing right on over to the scene, stepped in between the two classes before things could get worse. "What in blazes is going on here?!" Sekijiro barked as the two classes backed off.

Pointing at Bakugo who was picking himself up, Monoma said while picking himself up, "He attacked me for no good reason!"

"He called us sore losers because he and his bitch classmates cheated to make us fail the provisional licence exams!" Bakugo yelled.

"You're just pissy that the spotlight ain't gonna be focused solely on you and your classmates anymore!" Shihai barked back.

"You're the pissy ones given you had to resort to taking advantage of a real villain attack to sabotage us!" Sero shouted.

"ENOUGH!" Hizashi yelled at the top of his lungs, powering his shout further with his quirk. When everyone was settled, Hizashi said, "...Look, little listeners. It's clear that tensions are high right now. I say that we just separate you guys and give you all time to cool off."

Pinching the space between his eyes, Ryo let out an exasperated sigh. "...We're going to have to talk about this with Nezu. It's clear that things here have gotten way too out of hand to deal with traditionally."

Aizawa nodded once in agreement. "I agree, Hizashi. We can't let things between my class and Sekijiro's continue on like this, because with how things there are going now, eventually damage that can't be fixed or taken back is going to be caused."

"I think that such damage has already happened, Aizawa-sensei," Todoroki remarked, his tone now cold and indifferent, "Monoma and his peers have made it clear it's either them or us, and they won't compromise on the matter in the slightest." The son of the now villainous Endeavor turned to look at Class 1-B. "Well, you guys got what you wanted. You and your classmates won, me and mine lost. I just hope that it was worth it for you guys."

Some of the Class 1-B students looked ashamed, at least the ones that weren't in on the sabotage. Looking worried and upset, Reiko said, "But I-"

"Just leave us alone," Todoroki interrupted, not in any mood to hear any word from anyone in Class 1-B. The general consensus from the Class 1-A students made it clear they all felt similarly as Todoroki did.

Wanting to try to salvage things as much as possible, Itsuka said, "Guys, please, we can-"

"You were there with me and those girls from the hero school Uwabami founded, Kendo," Yaoyorozu interrupted. The look on the wealthy girl's face made it clear she was unamused and upset. "You saw how Usagi and Felgrand reacted to the girls from Uwabami's school simply because said girls were constantly insulting Asui by calling her ugly." Her brows furrowing notably, Yaoyorozu added, "Just imagine how Usagi and Felgrand would react if they were to be informed how your class had sabotaged me, Asui, and our classmates to make us fail the exams here."

Itsuka went wide eyed with worried alarm, as did some of the boys in Class 1-B; the UA students had the general idea that Usagi and Felgrand are Tsuyu's currently missing younger siblings, Satsuki and Samidare. There was also how the two reacted when Inasa boasted to them that they not only failed to meet Tsuyu again, but that neither of them would ever get to see Tsuyu again. The reactions of Usagi and Felgrand were something that the students who survived the attack Dabi had launched on Takoba National Stadium are all familiar with, it was a reaction none of them would ever forget.

And now Class 1-B were essentially being threatened with Usagi and Felgrand being sicced on them. The teachers and other adults decided that it was best to separate Class 1-A and Class 1-B from one another. They also decided that, since the students were all cleared, they could be taken back to UA. Sekijiro as he led his students to the bus they took lambasted them, taking no efforts to hide how disappointed he was. As for Aizawa, he said that while he understood his students were upset with what Class 1-B had done, it was no excuse to start things with them. Yaoyorozu was also scolded for basically using Tsuyu's little siblings to threaten Class 1-B.

The trip back to UA was an awkward and uncomfortable ride back for many, and Toshinori could tell that things had to be handled carefully here, otherwise damage will be caused that can't be undone. The girl who in the alternate timeline sent him back so he could work here in the current timeline was slain, so there was going to be no undoing any big damage. The former Symbol of Peace hoped that this could be settled soon, as he knew that certain events were about to play out, based on what all he could remember from the alternate timeline.

Things were going to get worse if Toshinori wasn't able to help set things straight. He was especially worried about Izuku, feared that he could get vengeful towards Class 1-B due to the stunt here. Toshinori was about to try and call Izuku, but was cut off when he got a call from Inko, his wife and Izuku's mom. Listening to what Inko wanted to tell him, Toshinori got some delightful news that he bet would make Izuku feel better.

"...Could you bring him to see me and Izuku at UA, Inko?" Toshinori asked, "Some misbehavior from Vlad King's students have resulted in something terrible. I bet that it would make Izuku and his classmates feel better if you were to bring him by to see everyone."

Later that evening back at UA, Class 1-A were in their dorm building, all of them upset to varying degrees on how they, due to Class 1-B's sabotage, had all failed the provisional licence exams. They also had informed their parents, except for Izuku who figured Toshinori would tell Inko. As it turned out, UA had informed the parents ahead of time of how Class 1-A had been sabotaged to fail the provisional licence exams, although the school took careful note to not say who had sabotaged the kids of Class 1-A, only that UA was going to handle it.

The parents of the Class 1-A students were all rightfully pissed that their respective kids had been cheated against to be made to fail. Yaoyorozu even said to her classmates that her father, after he's done dealing with some sort of intel leak concerning his businesses and various interests, was going to be personally looking into the matter to make sure justice was done. Mina came up with the idea of tying Monoma up with duct tape so hit arms were pinned to his sides, lay him down, and have Ochaco waddle over and turn so her very considerable fanny was over Monoma's face before the well-fed gravity girl farted directly into Monoma's face.

"Problem with that plan, Pinky," Bakugo said, "Round Face is a girl. Girls can't fart."

"...Uhh, Bakugo," Tenya said, "Umm... the passing of gas is a basic bodily function that all humans are capable of. It's not something that only males can do."

"Some animals are also able to... pass gas," Yaoyorozu added. It was clear that talking about farting was a rather embarrassing thing for the more studious members of Class 1-A.

Turning to look at Ochaco, Bakugo said, "So you are capable of farting."

Ochaco, blushing heavily with embarrassment, said, "Y-Yes, Bakugo. It's something everyone does, boys and girls."

Looking very suspicious of something, Bakugo went on, "So the old hag lied to me. All of those times where my dad ripped a big one and the old hag exclaimed at him, were some of them not actually my dad's doing?" Looking at Ochaco again, Bakugo went on, "I say do what Pinky says, Round Face. I bet someone who's as much of a fatass as you can rip some rather noxious big ones."

It was as Mina was chuckling in amusement while Ochaco's embarrassed blushing got even more pronounced that the door leading into the Class 1-A dorm building opened up, and in walked Aizawa who was accompanied by Toshinori and Inko, the latter of whom has something hidden behind her. Seeing that all of his students were looking either amused or embarrassed, Aizawa asked, "What's going on?"

"Ashido was discussing plans on getting back at Monoma and said plans involved having Uraraka fart in his face," Shinso explained, "We also had to educate Bakugo a bit when he stated that girls were incapable of farting."

Nodding once in understanding, Inko said, "Yeah, Mitsuki told me of how many times she passed gas and blamed in Masaru, citing how she wanted to 'protect her image' in the eyes of Katuski."

"So the old hag DID lie to me!" Bakugo exclaimed.

Surprisingly, Kota poked out from where he was hiding behind Inko. "Even I knew that girls can also fart. It's not a boy's only thing."

The Class 1-A students suddenly saw it that Kota was there. "What's the kid with the Wild, Wild Pussycats doing here?" Sero asked.

"As you kids may know," Aizawa began, "With the exception of Pixie-Bob, the Wild, Wild Pussycats have all been killed. This means that Mandalay, who was Kota's previous guardian, is dead. This meant that Kota had no family again."

"Wait a minute," Sato said, "Had? He's got a new family now?"

Smiling gently, Toshinori nodded once in the affirmative as he said, "Yes, my wife Inko and I have actually taken Kota in as a foster child, and we're already making arrangements to officially and legally adopt him."

"Izuku has a little brother now?!" the Class 1-A girls all excitedly exclaimed in unison.

Chuckling in amusement, Toshinori said, "Well it's not official yet, but it ought to be sometime before December starts."

"Toshi told me what happened to all of you in the provisional licence exams earlier," Inko said, "How a rival class had sabotaged you to make you all fail. To be frank, I'm fit to find the saboteurs and give them a piece of my mind." Gesturing to Kota, Inko went on, "Toshi figured that bringing Kota by as we give you all the news ought to help perk your spirits back up. Eraserhead also said something about how there's a young girl that UA is looking after and figures that having her interact with Kota could help the girl learn how to get along with others her age."

"Oh, you mean Eri," Shinso said, "Yeah, I in all of the times I've seen Eri have never caught sight of her interacting with someone under fifteen years of age. It'd be good for her to interact with others much closer in age to her."

"Umm, I have a question about this girl you want me to play with," Kota began, getting the attention of everyone present, "Does she know what chicken nuggets are?"

"I... don't know actually," Aizawa replied, "I mean, I've been put in charge of managing her meals and have said meals designed to focus on nutrition. The only meats that I've had Eri eat are lean healthy ones, so she's never had chicken nuggets. I'm not sure if she's had any before she was dropped onto UA's lap as she never said a word about what she's eaten prior to coming to UA."

Bakugo and the boys he hangs out with all looked at Aizawa in disappointment. "...You are the cruelest teacher in the history of cruel teachers, Aizawa-sensei," Kaminari said dryly.

"Yeah, it's hella bogus that you've never served Eri chicken nuggets," Sero said.

"It's un-manly as all get out," Kirishima commented.

Bakugo merely scowled. "Even the old hag had served chicken nuggets when I was a brat. That's one thing she has over you."

Aizawa was a bit surprised by how seriously some of his students were taking his lack of serving chicken nuggets to Eri. "Is... is it really that big of a deal?"

"Well from what I've gathered, Aizawa," Toshinori spoke up, "Chicken nuggets are pretty popular with kids."

"Kota actually asked if the first dinner we had after taking him in could include chicken nuggets," Inko spoke up.

The underground hero looked like he was contemplating a rather serious matter. "It would seem that I know less about looking after young children than I had first thought. I guess those books on raising children that I read don't tell a person everything. I'll have to ask someone with personal experience for advice, it would seem."

"Meanwhile," Kaminari said, "Imma go lead a group of the lads to get permission to leave campus so we can go on a run for nuggies."

"Never underestimate the sacred value of a nuggie run," Sero said, his tone and expression conveying the highest level of seriousness.

Arching a wry eyebrow, Aizawa said, "Nuggie?"

"It's a slang term for chicken nugget, Aizawa-sensei," Izuku explained, "It's a term even I am familiar with."

Nodding once, Aizawa said, "Fair enough. However with the recent attack at Takoba National Stadium, Nezu said that students can't leave campus barring certain situations."

Gesturing to Aizawa, Kaminari asked, "Can we ask Principal Nezu if going on a run for nuggies counts?"

Looking mildly baffled, Aizawa said, "I... won't stop you from asking, I guess. But I highly doubt that Nezu will grant permission for you and a few others to leave campus just so you guys can pick up what I am assuming would be an obscene amount of chicken nuggets."

As it turned out, Nezu DID consider 'going on a run for nuggies' as a valid excuse to grant permission to students to leave campus. Using the connections of Ochaco as Yaoyorozu's family's connections weren't usable at the moment for some odd reason, a group consisting of Bakugo, Mina, Jiro, Kaminari, Ochaco, and Izuku took one of the Uraraka family limos to the nearest fast food place. When the six teens walked in and got up to the front counter, they placed and order for chicken nuggets.

"Alright," the cashier at the register said after Kaminari said he and his group were ordering chicken nuggets, "How many would you like?"

"All of them," Kaminari replied, his tone and expression both deathly serious. The cashier, bless her heart, looked confused.

That night in the Class 1-A dorm building, the students of Class 1-A had a chicken nugget party, where all twenty of them ate their fill of chicken nuggets. Kota and Eri also had their fill of chicken nuggets, and as some of the boys expected, Eri was delighted by the new food item and found nuggies to be delicious. Even Inko and Aizawa had some, and Toshinori had a very small number himself; his stomach was still weak due to an old injury, so he kept his meal of nuggies light. But the mood had been lifted up a bit, and the teens almost forgot that they had been wrongly screwed over.

...Almost.

The following day, after an opening ceremony was held for the new portion of the school year, the UA staff had a meeting in the meeting room in the main UA building. "Yes, it is quite concerning what some of Sekijiro's students did to Aizawa's students during the provisional licence exams," Nezu said, "And when the exams were under attack for real."

"What will be done to punish the students responsible?" Hizashi asked, "In fact, who all are responsible?"

Pulling out a list, Sekijiro said, "Monoma's the ringleader, but I've also confirmed that Bondo, Fukidashi, Tsuburaba, Kuroiro, Kaibara, and Yanagi were all in on it." Lowering the list, Sekijiro went on to say, "A total of six boys and one girl. The boys are all frustrated to varying degrees that Class 1-A keeps 'hogging the spotlight' as Monoma puts it, and Yanagi was convinced to throw her hat in because she's apparently in love with one of Aizawa's boys, and Kurorio had convinced her that she could make her crush like her back by seeing their class beat her crush's class. A 'best him to bed him' kind of deal."

Looking to Nezu, Nemuri asked, "So how do we punish the guilty students?"

Sighing, Nezu said, "Under normal circumstances, I would ultimately give free reign to decide punishments for Sekijiro's students to Sekijiro himself. I would have even accepted it if he chose to expel any or all of them." Gently shaking his head, Nezu went on, "But things happened to put the choice beyond our control."

"Nezu got it from the remains of the HPSC," Aizawa said, "Who had been absorbed by and is heavily restricted by the Japanese government, that literally every person with a hero licence, official or provisional, will be needed in the field in the coming days. As much as the guilty students in Sekijiro's class don't deserve it, they're going to have to go out into the field and do some real hero work."

Snipe folded his arms over his chest. "Well no duh. Criminal and especially villainous activity in Japan have seen their rates gone way up since All Might retired. And there's already reports of things being even bolder due to the massive success the villains who attacked Takoba National Stadium saw, scoring a death toll that had got into the four digit range."

Toshinori nodded grimly in understanding. "Not to mention that Dabi now has both of his big elites active, Usagi and Felgrand."

"Speaking of," Aizawa said, a hint of knowing in his tone as he turned to look at Nezu, "Testimony from Yaoyorozu as well as Sekijiro's student Kendo has it that Usagi and Felgrand both had very hostile reactions towards Asui being harshly insulted. Furthermore, the boys in me and Sekijiro's respective classes had been able to provide further testimony stating that Usagi and Felgrand had even more hostile reactions to being told that they not only missed seeing Asui but where then told that they were never going to get to see her."

Nezu nodded once in understanding. "Yes, it would seem that Usagi and Felgrand, who we know now are Asui's missing younger siblings, very clearly care about and love her. That said, were it not for the sabotage that the guilty students in Class 1-B did, Asui would most likely have passed and gotten her provisional licence, therefore she would be allowed to go out into the field if Usagi and or Felgrand are spotted."

Nemuri arched a wry eyebrow. "We can't send Asui out right now?"

"Orders from the remains of the HPSC and their government liaisons," Nezu explained, "Until such time as determined by the HPSC and the government, hero academy students in hero courses can't do any hero work out in the field unless they at minimum have their provisional licences." Stretching his arms out over the table, Nezu said, "As such, even though Miss Asui is hero society's best bet against Usagi and Felgrand, we legally can't allow her to go out into the field until she is able to get her provisional licence. Here's hoping Asui, as well as the rest of Aizawa's students, are able to earn their provisional licences in the supplementary lessons."

More than a few teachers at the meeting slapped hands to their respective foreheads. "You've got to be kidding me," Hizashi said, "Our one solid out to being able to deal with Dabi's two big elites can't be used because the HPSC remains and the government say so?"

Ryo, his eyes closed, wore an expression of consideration on his face as his arms were folded over his chest. Opening his eyes, the Hunting Dog hero said, "I believe that the idea I had suggested to Sekijiro a while ago, when I first noticed signs of his students resenting Aizawa's students, ought to be implemented."

"We will have to go over it with Nezu and Aizawa," Sekijiro said, "But at this point, it's probably the best way we have to deal with getting things between my kids and Aizawa's kids to settle down and make all of them drop this whole bitter rivalry b.s." Aizawa arched a wry eyebrow at Sekijiro and Ryo, but figured that whatever it was that the two of them had planned may be just what was needed to save things between Class 1-A and Class 1-B before they got way too far out of hand. Or at the very least, more way too far out of hand than what they already are.

END, CHAPTER TWENTY

Author's notes;

This chapter picks up immediately after the villains all leave, and only half of the students survived the attack. A number of the surviving students get their provisional licences, aside from the whole of Class 1-A as Monoma and some of his Class 1-B fellows carried out an act of sabotage, using the villain attack as a cover, to see 1-B pull a major upset over 1-A and race on ahead. Class 1-A is embittered and tensions between the two classes rise, although 1-A is soothed somewhat when Toshinori had Inko bring Kota by to announce the Midoriya-Yagi family took Kota in and will adopt him. The new semester ceremony is held, and a meeting his had to discuss how UA will manage things in the times to come. Aizawa hopes things will improve, but things will be getting a little bit worse before getting better.
