Just a little something I decided to throw together for Easter. It's meant to be in the same vein as the 'meet the guardians' YouTube Promos.

Growing up, chances are that sometime around Halloween, you've probably got a large pumpkin, and carved faces or images in it and call it a 'Jack O'Lantern'. But have you ever wondered why they're called that? Believe it or not, they're named after the one who invented them: Jack O'Lantern, or 'Lantern'.

Now, not much is known about Lantern. He has long flaming red-hair, emerald green eyes, an Irish accent, and is always wearing a mask that covers most of his face. He can conjure and control fire, and he makes great candy. However, Lantern's most useful power is his ability to shapeshift into anything or anyone he wants. You see, unlike other spirits, Lantern can be seen and interact with normal people while he's in disguise, whether they believe in him or not. And he's been using this power for hundreds of years to be hundreds of people. Some of the best and brightest people throughout history were in fact Lantern in disguise. Who knows, you might know him by one of his many, many aliases

But Lantern's days of playing pretend might be coming to an end. You see, he's a guardian; or at least the Man in the Moon want's him to be. Lantern will join forces with the other Guardians; Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, the Sandman, and Jack Frost to protect the children of the world from the return of Pitch Black; but will the others accept him as one of them? Read and see, everyone needs a guardian.
