Hana pedrad's pov

Nathan and I stand beside tris . Tris is crying. Four was taken by Jeanine Matthew and is now controlled by the simulation now . I and tris mother were best friend before she chose to leave dauntless for love

I stay in dauntless also because I love Nathan . Zeke and Uriah are doing what I don't know but I am sure that they will be safe except Uriah is also divergent. I told him to fake that he isn't because four actually delete all his footage .

"So what is the plan?" Nathan bites his lips

Marcus , Andrew and Peter are with us . Andrew is tris's father . I don't even know where my bestie is .

"Where is Natalia ." I look at andrew .

"She is gone ." Andrew shakes his head

"What?" I open my eyes wide

I nearly fall but Nathan stables me . I rest my head on his chest. Nathan comforts me .

"Hana it will be fine ." Nathan kisses my forehead

"We have to fight the way up."tris points above us

Above the pit, it is a dangerous place . If they go, they may never come down

"I will go with tris . Nathan you stay with them." I smile at him. "I don't want you to risk yourself again."

"No I will go." Nathan sighs . "I am the man of the house . You have to take care of the kids ."

"He gets the point. Let him do it." Caleb nods at me . "He will be fine."

I let them. Nathan and tris take the gun and go up . I pace back and forth. Natalia was dead and she was the best shooter

"So tell me Andrew , when did Natalia and you met in secret." I raise my eyebrows

"Before the choosing ceremony." Andrew bites his lips

"So she transferred because of you?" I laugh. "She should choose erudite as the plan."

Andrew and Marcus look at me weirdly. I hear gun shot and people's screaming but I know that doesn't belong to tris or Nathan .

"What does that mean?" Marcus narrows his eyes

"There is a big secret inside me and Natalia . She couldn't tell you Andrew and I can't tell Nathan." I look up at the ceiling. "I know that abnegation knew it already."

"We do but it is not what you are talking about ." Marcus shakes his head

The time past so slow and I don't know when are they going to finish this . I am worried for Nathan already.

Nathan's pov

I left hana downstair because I know that maybe I am not going downstair . I already get shot on my shoulder and I tear a piece of fabric and wrap around my shoulder to stop bleeding.

"Are you okay nathan?" Tris asks me

"Just go!" I scream. "I will distract the soldier ."

I shoot at the soldiers who pursue us and then I hear another gun shot. Andrew stands beside me .

"Why are you up here!" I am wandering.

"Hana was worried about you." Andrew looks at me . "She is natalia's best friend in dauntless and I need to make sure that you are safe ."

"You don't need to do that Andrew ." I shake my head

Tris is on the way to the control room and there are more soldiers . I loaded my gun and I shoot at them. However I am running out of bullet fast and Andrew sighs

"I will do it and you go help tris ." Andrew starts running toward right.

"No!" I scream because the corridor will end

I can't see what happen next but running toward the left corridor . Tris is at the door . Four is sitting in front of the computer

"God , he is really running the simulation." I can't believe that he is doing it. "Tris , what should we do."

I take the gun out of my pocket again. I hand her one.

"I can't kill him nathan ." Tris is shaking. "If you are there , hana will happily given her life for you ."

"Even if she did that, after I wake up in the future , I will kill myself." I say in a second . "I love hana just like your father loved your mom."

"Really? Nathan? You really love hana that much?" Tris is suspicious

Four turns around and he stands up and walking toward us . I stand in front of tris

"Four , you can't do this ." I try to stop him

"Drop your weapon or I will fire." He says coldly.

"Jeanine told us that he is now seeing friends as enemies and enemies as friends." Tris calls to me . "Don't do something stupid."

Four punches me on my face and I fall. Blood drips from my face and I wheeze.

"Four listen , I am tris . You said that you love me right?" Tris is crying. "Please I am begging you."

Four grabs her hair and pulls her down . I want to get up but I am too useless to do it.

Hana pedrad's pov

I am waiting for them to come down . Then I hear footstep, more soldiers. I take out my gun but I realize that I am running out of my bullet. Caleb holds out his gun which was given by tris .

"Don't move." One of the soldier shouts . "Weapons down."

"You don't know what you are doing." I scream. "Wake up please."

"Or we will kill you." Other one said

Then I hear a bang, we drop to the ground . I close my eyes . I should calm down because I am dauntless . I was born as dauntless and chose dauntless when I was 16 years old .

Everything go quiet and I stand up. Soldiers start to scream and groan. I know that tris and Nathan had successfully shut down the simulation .

I hear a ding above us . Tris helps Nathan down with four . Nathan is bleeding.

"Nathan!" I scream . "What is happening!"

"He got shot by the soldier . He is fine . He just can't walk too good ." Tris smiles at me . "Thank for Nathan's help ."

I don't see Andrew . I see four stiffens at the sight of Marcus .

"God where is your dad ." I hold Nathan in place.

"He was gone because he was protecting me . I ran out of the bullets . I am sorry tris ." Nathan is sobbing. "Hana are you okay?"

"I am fine . God , Nathan how is that even possible." I open my eyes wide . "But at least he is with Natalia now ."

I feel angry. Why ? Marcus wraps his arms around four and tris pushes him away

"Get away from him. Those erudite's report are not all fake ." Tris is screaming.

"Tris , what are you doing?" Marcus looks innocent. "By the way, Nathan needs a small surgery. I can do that."

I figure out Nathan's leg is still bleeding and we settle him down on the rock somewhere .

"It is going to be so painful but I know that you can take it." Marcus winces

Nathan holds my hand so tight that it hurts but I don't let it go.

"You will be fine Nathan . I love you." I kiss him.

"I know that you love me ." Nathan giggles. "I am a man."

Marcus starts to cut the fabric around his knee and takes out a knife from his pocket. Four and tris close their eyes and Caleb stand behind them.

Peter's arm is also bleeding where tris shot her

Nathan pedrad pov

When Marcus cuts my wound , I bite my mouth to stifle the scream. Hana kisses me and I am too into this . It is even when he finishes , I didn't let it go. Hana is too sweet. When I first time met her as an instructor , the year before she chooses , she is too pretty for me

So I acted like I was hanging out with other girl but she turns out to be flirty with other boy. I got fucked up and I become super possessive of her .

She let go of me and i already messed up her hair

"We have to go ."four sighs . "We have to get to amity."

"Yeah sure , we should go. I wish Uriah and Zeke will be fine ." I shake my head . "I am the worst father that they can have ."

"Then I am the worst mother . I know that they can take care of themselves . At least tori is there ." Hana grabs my hand

We climb the pit and leave the compound . I am happy that I am alive . Hana sinks to the ground and she is crying.

"Hana it is fine . It is not your fault." Tris holds her shoulder

"It is . I should know . I am divergent but I know someone in erudite so he shielded me and Nathan . Zeke and Uriah are somewhere . I should come to look for you and your mom tris ." Hana is crying .

"Hana , we have to leave that grief behind .'" Marcus says coldly.

I feel angry. Marcus shouldn't speak those thing so easily.

"Don't talk like that to my wife ." I push him away. "I know what happen in four's simulation. I saw it."

"You saw what?" Marcus smirks .

"You were beating him. Tris was right, you are a devil." I take out my gun

Hana grabs my arm . I look at her . She is so weak already

"Let us solve this first okay?" Hana is choking.

"Fine ."

The train is coming and we start jogging. Hana's leg is injured so after I jump on, I help her into the train. She rests her head on my chest.

"I am glad that Ted is Factionless ." I say it so bitterly. "I will not see him if I don't want to."

"Are you still jealous?" Hana kisses my chin.

"Yeah I am super jealous." I say

Four looks at me . I know that his mother is now alive but obviously tris doesn't know .
