Every intern gathered around as they witnessed the pro heroes actually being pushed back by the villains... Michi couldn't believe his eyes as he saw another laser pierce the heavens, cutting down multiple heroes... shocked, Michi held his hair as he looked at his friends.
"what the hell do we do?!" Michi blurted out, he looked around, noticing Fugu and the urgency written on her face.. until it all disappeared as she heard a familiar voice.
"They need you." Said the first, after hearing it, she activated One for All, as she jumped off the building towards the fight.
"NO GOD DAMMIT!" Michi shouted, as he used One for All to grab onto Fugu's leg, as he went flying with Fugu, Shizu and Senshi both reacted by taking the chance to head towards the battle field. Fugu felt the extra weight as she tried knocking Michi off.
"Michi!! You can't be serious!!" Fugu yelled as Michi climbed Fenrir.
"FUGU! I don't know exactly what's going on... and "One for All!" But since we heard that name for the first time, you've been acting different! You've been more rash- I can't let you do this alone!!" Michi let go of Fugu, as he began swinging on his own, when he noticed Fugu was falling, Fugu nodded towards Michi, as he wrapped Fenrir's tendril around her, he screamed on the top of his lungs,
"GO TO HELL!" Michi shouted, as he launched Fugu towards the battle field, immediately, she was able to knock out two villains with her impact, as Michi landed next to her. Shizu caused a fire that surrounded the general area so no villain could escape, as Senshi used an ultimate move to collapse the road, getting multiple villains stuck in the cracks. The four heroes stood together with a determined look as Katsuki looked stressed, but then had a fiery smile
"YOU DAMN KIDS! KEEP THE PAWNS OFF MY PACK AS I DEAL WITH THE BOSS!!"
Deku noticed Fugu's appearance as he had a stressed look on his face, then noticed the rest of the students.
"Before you say anything-" fugu swiftly ducked under a villain's attack, before round house kicking them against a wall "we weren't just going to let you fight a losing battle!!!"
Michi activated Fenrir, as he clenched his teeth, as he yelled out, a surge of tendrils swarmed Michi as they turned red with rage, Michi yelled out in pain as he yelled on the top of his lungs,
"RAGEFUL SURGE!!"
Suddenly, twenty tendrils sprouted from Michi as he grappled onto twenty enemies, throwing them against the walls of the buildings, then slamming them into the ground, he then jumped towards another, punching and kicking him unconscious as he ran towards the next group.
Midoriya looked around as he nodded
"just stay behind-"
suddenly, a massive claw appeared from the stronghold, reaching out and increasing in size, it was Kazuki activating his full potential of his quirk, as he slammed down into the ground, targeting the number one hero, and his student.
KAZUKI! Quirk?! MONSTER! KAZUKI CAN TRANSFORM HIS BODY INTO ANY SIZE, SHAPE, OR ANIMAL TO FIT HIS NEEDS IN BATTLE!
"YOU HEROES WANT TO TRASH MY HOME?! ILL GIVE YOU A DAMN BEATING TO AN INCH OF YOUR LIFE!"
Kazuki swatted at Katsuki, who was still flying in the air with an unconscious Tokoyami, as Katsuki flew off from the battle he dropped Tokoyami off on a building as he began to run towards the battle.
"Bakugo!! Wait!" Tokoyami sputtered, Katsuki ran towards Tokoyami
"What?! What is it?! Make it quick the kids are fighting!"
Tokoyami had an urgent expression on his face as fear filled his eyes.
"I saw him." Tokoyami admitted
"that laser. You and I both know what that means." Tokoyami muttered, as Katsuki stood up, running off the building, and going turbo speed back towards the fight. When he did, he felt a sharp burning sensation hit his side as he held it, his eyes met with the shooter.
"YOU MOTHER FUCKER!!!"
everyone watched as Katsuki used his quirk to launch himself into the strong hold, as he did, the explosion caused the shooter to leave the strong hold, landing outside the fight, surrounded by the wildfire soldiers and the heroes.. Nemui Shinomori stood in the streets with a distasteful look on his face, as he shot at Kazuki again. Dodging out of the way of Karasu's attack, only to be grappled onto.
"NEMUI?! WHAT THE FUCK??" Karasu yelled as he slammed his brother in law into the ground, using his quirk, he launched himself and Karasu into the sky, then shot a devastating shot to Karasu's stomach with his quirk, before Deku came in for the assist, grabbing onto Nemui with black whip. While the heroes were distracted with Nemui, Kazuki took the chance to stomp a few heroes, killing them instantly, Fugu jumped out of the way just in time as she looked towards Michi, who was petrified, pale, and inattentive in the fight. Kazuki's foot began to hover over Michi as Michi didn't move, when Fugu felt an awakening inside of her, her legs began to glow as in a blink of an eye, she jumped towards Michi, grabbing him and pulling him away from danger right before being crushed.
"THE THIRD'S GIFT... FA JIN!"
Fugu shouted in her heart as she pulled Michi into an alleyway.
"Michi... MICHI!!" Fugu slapped the disorientated Michi as she tried to get him to refocus.
"why... why is dad here?" He said as he took a double take at the battle field, noticing his father fighting off a group of heroes. Michi gagged as he held his hand on his mouth, trying to stop himself from vomiting. Fugu shook her friend
"COME ON MICHI! THERE'S NO TIME!! I NEED YOU! SHIZU AND SENSHI NEED YOU! KAZUKI IS GOING TO KILL PEOPLE IF WE DON'T DO SOMETHING HERE!!" Fugu shouted desperately at Michi as he nodded, standing up, as he summoned Fenrir... Fenrir looked as if he had seen a ghost, as Michi activated Fenrir, wrapping his tendrils around Kazuki's arm, the tendrils snapped with little trouble, Michi, and Fugu dodged out of the way, as they tried to meet up with Shizu and Senshi atop a building. Senshi looked shocked as he pointed towards Nemui
"isn't that-"
"Can it." Michi yelled, as he pointed towards Kazuki
"we can take him out together. I'll hold him in place as you three try to topple him over."
Shizu had a concerned expression on his face as he nodded, looking at the battle ahead of him, Shizu, Fugu, and Senshi all jumped from building to building, as Michi looked at his arms.
"Fen."
Fenrir appeared, looking sadder than before, he didn't answer Michi.
"We're doing it."
Fenrir nodded as Michi closed his eyes... memories flashed in his eyes, "mom... Naomi... my room... my sister... DAD."
Fenrir began to turn red, doubling in size, as his eyes turned red and rageful, screaming out, he plunged his arms into Michi's head, as he began to scream out once more
"EMOTION CIRCULATION!!!"
By feeding negative emotion into Fenrir, and feeding it back to Michi, they've created a constant flow of negative emotion, creating... a monster of sorts.
Michi launched out a massive tendril from both arms, as he wrapped one around Kazuki's shoulder, and the other on his waist, as Michi pulled backwards. As he began to slip off the building, Fenrir used his own tendrils to secure Michi. Kazuki tried pulling away as Michi pulled harder, screaming out in rage as the titan began to slide backwards. Senshi ran towards the giant's leg. Using his quirk to break his knee, as Fugu ram around, building up energy in her legs and arms, when she finally released Fa Jin's energy, launching herself at the Titan's face, right before she made it, Kazuki's hand was about to grab onto Fugu, preventing her from kicking Kazuki, when suddenly a red hot flame appeared, with Shizu's voice echoing within it...
"INCINERAAAATE!"
Shizu's flaming body sliced through Kazuki's hand, allowing Fugu to slide through the cracks, as landed a devastating blow using Fa-jin, sending the monster backwards, being toppled over by Michi and Fenrir. As the man began to shrink in size, he held onto his amputated hand as he screamed out in pain. Fugu knocked the villain out as more reinforcements began surrounding them.. as Fugu looked towards the fight consisting of the main heroes, and Nemui, Deku was no where to be found.. Fugu, Senshi, and Shizu began fighting through the waves of villains as Michi jumped towards his father, using Fenrir to grapple onto his dad, preventing him from attacking anyone else.
"YOU GODDAMN LIAR!!" Michi let out a blood curdling scream as he tried pulling his father in, only to feel the exhaustion of Fenrir begin to kick in.
"sooo... tired..." Fenrir said as Michi persisted.
"I AM NOT A LIAR! I AM DOING THIS FOR YOU!!" Nemui yelled out, as an explosion hit him in the side of his face, by Katsuki, who was trying to not only stop Nemui but multiple high class villains. Nemui struggled as he tried to escape Fenrir.
"EVERYTHING I DO IS FOR YOU AND ERIKO NOW!! I LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH!!" Nemui yelled out, as he used his quirk to cut through Fenrir, only for it to readjust its grip around Nemui, it began to pull him in closer
"YOU'RE JUST AS SELFISH AS AUNT TSUYOI SAYS. YOU'RE A GODDAMN MONSTER!!"
Nemui had a heart broken expression as he desiccated..
"I know."
Nemui cut through Fenrir once more, causing him to scream out in pain.. As Nemui flew off using his quirk. Michi activated Fenrir again, only for him to refuse to come out. After five more minutes of fighting, the wildfires began to retreat, as they did Katsuki Bakugo began to fly towards Nemui's escape.
"IM GOING AFTER NEMUI! SHOTO, COLLECT THE REMAINING VILLAINS- AND GET THESE DAMN INTERNS BACK TO UA- WHAT A GODDAMN CLUSTER FUCK OF A MISSION!" Katsuki shouted as he flew out of the battle field. Police men and women came to collect the villains and escort the interns back to UA... after hours of processing, everyone made it home late at night... it was 3:03 am when Fugu was suddenly awaken by a phone call... She lifted her phone as she checked the contact ID.
"Michi."
Fugu answered in a groggy voice.
"Hello?"
"meet me outside."
Michi had hung up as quickly as Fugu answered.. after a few minutes, Michi stood in the grass, facing a tree, as Fugu approached him.
"Michi...?"
"How's your mentor?! He recovering from hiding after half the battle?" Michi stated as turned around, with an angry expression, Fugu hesitated.
"Mr. Deku is in the hospital due to complications-"
"don't give me that shit." Michi said a she interrupted Fugu
"Michi... I know what you're going through is a lot, but listen to me, you don't look like you've slept. You need to take care of yourself."
Michi shook his head. "No, the thing is, I feel fine. Better than I have in a while, in-fact... I don't think I've felt this good in a damn long time."
Michi took in another deep breath as he pointed at Fugu. He spoke loud, clearly and slowly
"What, is One for All?"
Fugu hesitated, as her eyes widened.
"What do you mean...?"
"See? You're still bull shitting me, when I've been on you for a while now. Those web things you have? What do you call them?? I've seen them more than my share, and I can say for a fact, Fugu, that it wasn't just you using it. Deku uses it to restrain students in class. You used it during the sports festival. Mari used it before she died."
Fugu hesitated as she wasn't sure what to say at this particular moment... she looked up at Michi, defensive
"why the hell do you wanna know so badly?!" Fugu asked as she tried to deflect his questions, Michi began walking towards her.
"Because, clearly, I can't trust anybody. My father's made that crystal fucking clear with me. So the question is.. why the hell is one of my best friends hiding something not just from me, but from everyone else?!"
"Michi.. please, calm down. This will not solve anything, it won't bring your dad to justice, and it won't help finding your sister. Please, listen to me! I'm your friend!! There's a reason for everything! I couldn't tell anyone! Not even Shizu knows!"
Michi clenched his head as he was clearly frustrated, he didn't know what to say to anything. He backed away as his frustration began to get the better of him.
"it's a power. Passed down from generation to generation. A power I had.. that I entrusted to Mari... who passed it unto Fugu upon her death."
Midoriya slowly stepped out of the shadows. His stomach and arm still covered in bandages, his face seemed dejected as he saw both Fugu and Michi arguing. Michi paused for a second as he faced Midoriya.
"Why the hell is it a secret?! You some kind of cult?!"
midoriya shook his head, disregarding the last question
"there were reasons to having it be a secret when I was your age, but that reason has dwindled away.. for now, we keep it as a secret to shield its power so that it can flourish to those truly deserving, and those not trying to exploit it."
Michi looked unimpressed as he looked at Fugu, then back to Midoriya. "Why Mari?!"
Midoriya hesitated..
"I thought she suited best to take the mantle after me. But her life was shortly taken afterwards."
Michi remembered the bombing, as he softly cried. He couldn't help it. His knees buckled as he fell, covering his eyes as he wept, Fugu slowly approached him.
" Michi...? Are you okay?"
Michi nodded as he let out a sigh, a sigh of relief.
"I was so worried.. worried that something else was happening... like "firefly" had gotten to all of you too and influenced you... or.. I don't know."
midoriya walked over to the young hero, embracing him as he patted him on the back.
"I understand your confliction, and worry, young Shinomori.. I am sorry."
