Lucy POV
Lucy was depressed. She had come all the way to Hargeon only to find one magic shop where sex appeal didn't help her any.
""Urgh! How only lowered it 1000 Jewel!", Lucy grunts in frustration. "Is my sex appeal only worth 1000 jewels?! I may be loaded, but that doesn't mean I can just accept that." She grumbled to herself, earning many strange looks. She flushed and kept walking down the street. Up ahead, she noticed a gathering of girls. They were yelling and screaming, Salamander.
" Salamander?! The Salamander here in Hargeon? Maybe i can join the fairy tail! " She ran into the crowd to get a look at Fairy Tail's exclusive Salamander. It was said he was a strong wizard. Literally and figuratively. He used Fire Magic, thus earning the name Salamander.
When Lucy finally pushed through the hoard of girls (man were they mean!) she saw the "Salamander" for the first time. He was average looking with weird purple hair. For some strange reason, when Lucy laid her eyes on him, silly hearts started to flash in her eyes. She squealed and jumped forward, only to run into something made her shocked. She saw a woman withlong, flowing silver hair that cascades down her back, and her bangs are neatly styled to frame her face. Her eyes are a captivating shade of blue, giving her an intense and determined gaze. She is dressed in an elegant and ornate outfit, featuring intricate designs and regal embellishments.
' Wait a second. Isn't that girl i bought to hospital ? What she is doing here!!' Though Lucy screamed in her head. As she looking at her she notice 'Salamander' tease at silver hair woman and could see a ring of his index finger which was clearly charm magic ring.
"That guy is dangers" Lucy snorted "I should save her and other girl"
If she was correct then this man was likely charming the girls so he could lure them to another stopped because the silver hair woman punch him into the face which send " Salamander" into the wall.
All of girl who fallen into charm magic just gasped how " Salamander " fall into unconcious by Silver Haired Woman meanwhile the latter just scowled which made Lucy sweat dropped. The silver haired woman just passing through Lucy. ' Calm down Lucy. You can do this just made sure to thanks for saving me' Lucy though with nervous.
' Ano, excuse me." Lucy said to silver haired woman which made latter turned around her. "I'm Lucy Heartfilia. I wanted to say thank you for made my awareness is back and punch him to face to teach that jack a lesson." She smiled to her " I'm really glad you finally out from hospital. I found you in river and saw yourself almost dead" That word made silver haired woman widened. For a while she procced all of Lucy word until notice there no lied in her word.
" I see" Silver haired woman replied. " Thanks for saving me" She held out her hand to shake which Lucy respond.
" My name is Morgan. Nice to meet you , Lucy Heartfilia".
*Scene Break*
"There's no need for you to treat me to food," Morgan said with a frown on her face. "If anything, I'm the one who should pay you."
"Hahahaha, it's okay, considering you already helped me snap out of that mage," Lucy replied. "Come on, we've already helped each other; there's no need to feel shame. Since today you finally came out of the hospital, would that mean healthy food makes you feel better?" Morgan nodded. "That's the spirit. Now stop talking and just enjoy the food before it gets cold."
both of them enjoyed the food for 10 minutes, Lucy stopped eating and put the fork and knife on the table. "Nee, Morgan, can I ask you something?" Morgan nodded while enjoying her tea. "During the time before I found you in the river, did something bad happen to you? Did you just run away from something dangerous and decide to save yourself by jumping into the river, which caused you to lose consciousness?"
That word made Morgan stop her tea and put her glass on the plate. She gritted her teeth and clenched her fist as she remembered her last moments, especially those bastards, Aurora and Spriggan—a narcissistic duo who had cost her the throne and her daughter, Baobhan Sith. Her anger slowly arose, shocking Lucy.
"If you don't answer, it's okay," Lucy said nervously. "I'm sorry to see you like this. I can't give you proper answers for now because I lost something important." Morgan replied with a melancholy face. "I see." There was tension between both of them until Lucy stood up and looked at Morgan with a smile. "Here's my address." Lucy handed her an address card, which Morgan took " Since I was a kid, a woman in a bunny suit saved me from a carriage accident and she had this mark of Fairy Tail in her right hand. I didn't get to meet her or even get to say thank you. But I admired Fairy Tail and wanted to join in." Lucy explained her reasons of wanting to join the infamous Guild in Fiore.
"Fairy Tail?" Morgan muttered slowly. "Exactly. This guild has a reputation as number one. They have strong members such as Titania and the others," Lucy added. "However, they have an infamous reputation for destroying everywhere they go on jobs, an annoyance to the Magic Council, and are a reckless group of wizards," she whispered just to make sure Morgan didn't hear it.
"Oh crap, I'm late. I must go to the shop before the last magazine is finished," Lucy said with panic before leaving Morgan with the food itself. "If something bad is happening, just make sure to go to my apartment, okay? See you later." Lucy waved her hand, leaving Morgan behind.
After Lucy left, Morgan continued to enjoy her tea. ' Ever since I arrived in this world, I noticed there is so much mana in the air and plants. It's as if I've returned to the age of gods,' she thought. ' This world is also full of humans with a normal lifespan compared to my own world, where they can only live around 30 years.'
"Not only did I notice that this world is weird, but also my fae eyes for detecting the truth or lies are back, and my former weapon, a spear of selection, is back in my hand," Morgan said, narrowing her eyes as she contemplated the situation. She summoned her spear to her right hand. "With the curse gone, I can use this spear without it costing my life. I should start modifying it to the point where the curse does not appear anymore. The only reason I didn't bother to use it is that Rhongomyniad is the strongest weapon in Fairy Britain"
' Lucy also mentioned Fairy Tail as number one in this country. Does that mean fairies also exist in that place and act pretty much like my own Britain?" Morgan crossed her arms. " I don't think I can judge that until I see it with my own eyes. Trying to apply these fairies to my own world is stupid''
After that, Morgan stood up , ready to left the restaurant, and saw the waiter bow his head to her as a gesture of thanks for enjoying the food, to which she responded with a nod. She decided to leave and start working on modifying her spear of selection somewhere.
*Scene Break*
Lucy in her way to the train station, she found a quaint little park where she decided to rest for a while on the bench, flipping through a magazine she just bought. It was the Weekly Sorcerer. The Weekly Sorcerer, a magic specialty magazine, held all the up-to-date material on the local guilds, including the one she desperately wanted to join: Fairy Tail.
In fact, right on the sixth page, was an article about how Fairy Tail destroyed something … again. "Really … Fairy Tail destroyed something again? 'Destroyed the Devon Thief Family, but an additional seven houses were destroyed' … really, they go overboard sometimes, don't they?" But that just added to the charm she could see from Fairy Tail. She turned the page, and smiled. "Aaah, it's a Mirajane model spread!" Mirajane was a famous mage from fairy tail that often posed for the Weekly Sorcerer.
She continued to flip through the pages, losing herself in though. "I wonder how one joins Fairy Tail … is it by application? Whatever it is, it's probably tough to get in …" She sighed, dropping the magazine down onto her bosom. "Really, Fairy Tail is the coolest mage guild out there!" She said with a blush, beginning to giggle to herself.
"Oh? So you're interested in joining Fairy Tail?"
She jumped at the new voice, turning to see … "S-Salamander?" The imposter! What was he doing here? Why did he just jump out of the bushes? This was creepy …
"I can help you join Fairy Tail," he offered slyly, holding up his ring.
"That won't work on me, sleaze. I understand how your affection magic works, therefore it doesn't have any effect over me." She declared, pointing at the ring.
"Oh, you're quite sharp. I knew you were a mage when our eyes first met." He claimed, striking another prosperous pose. "It's alright, so long as you attend the party."
"Why would I attend your party?" She hmphed, folding her arms. "You're nothing but a pervert."
"Perverted? Me?" he squeaked, but quickly regained his composure.
"Then why do you get all the girls using that charm? It's quite pathetic." She scolded.
"I do that for the air of a celebrity. Nothing more." He laughed. "Well, if you come to the party, I can help you join Fairy Tail."
"Huh? Seriously?" Her jaw dropped, and so did her guard. Did he seriously just offer that?
"I don't belong to a guild myself, but I can put in good words of mages seeking to join guilds. What do you say? I can put in a word to the Fairy Tail's master, and you should get in, no problem." He gave a thumbs up charm.
"Really?" She grinned, suddenly falling for the charm again. "Then it seems like it'll be a wonderful party!"
"Good! I hope to see you there, young lady!" He declared, and he soon took off on his "red carpet" magic once more in the direction of the harbor.
"Heheh," she laughed evilly as he flew away. "All I have to do is go along with that idiot for now, and then my chances for getting into Fairy Tail will skyrocket …!" She grinned and started chuckling as she headed back to her hotel room where she was staying, deciding she would stay another night for the sake of Fairy Tail. Little did she realize Morgan accidently watching her and dissappeared without the former know.
Meanwhile
"We were trying to find Igneel, and it turns out he is a fake and really lame guy," someone said with an annoyed voice. He is a slightly tanned boy with spiky pink hair, wearing an Arabian-style outfit with a white scale-detailed scarf and black sandals. He has a light red jacket, a green backpack, and a red sleeping bag on top of his backpack. Below him stands a blue cat named Happy, standing on two feet with a green backpack next to his leg. Both of their names are Natsu Dragneel and Happy, a Fairy Tail wizard, and the former is a Real Salamander.
" Aye," Happy agrees with him. It's been two hours for them to find Igneel. Both of them appeared in Hargeon's harbor to find Igneel; however, their hope is lost because it turns out the one they found is a really lame person. Happy spots a ship. "Hey look! Is that the boat where that Salamander guy is partying?"
Natsu looks at the ship and immediately feels sick, saying, "Gonna hurl..." His face turns blue. "Oh, come on! It's not like we're going on it," Happy says, waving it off.
The two then hear three girls talking about Salamander. Natsu doesn't pay much attention until he hears that he's a member of Fairy Tail. Natsu's eyes turn into a glare, and he says quietly, "Fairy Tail?" Natsu looks thoughtfully at the ship but then gets sick again. "So he's in Fairy Tail, is he?" Natsu says, glaring at the ship.
Time Skip.
Hargeon Docks-8:30pm
Lucy POV
The ship sailed out further and further from the port, appearing to be on the horizon line at this point. Many invitees (mainly of the female persuasion) were out on deck, enjoying the food and talking amongst themselves and the ship's crew. The sun had vanished beyond sight, and the sky started to brighten with the lights of the stars above.
' This guy is a creep ' … Lucy couldn't help but think as she had been invited into Salamander's personal cabin, where they were to dine together. She wore her formal red dress that she kept in her suitcase for such formal emergencies, but it was slightly unnerving to be wearing this in the presence of the creep. He seemed to pick up on this unease.
"Lucy-chan, right~? A very lovely, charming name." Came the charming voice of the seducer before her, and she knew it well. Her face contorted in feigned acceptance as she replied: "A-ah, thank you."
Salamander, currently robed in elegant wear, was seated across from her in the cabin, his legs crossed, his arm slung over his knee, partially tucked away by the shorter formal robe that monks usually wear. But he's quite the opposite of a monk … her inner self twitched, although she carefully avoided letting her discomfort or annoyance show in her body language.
"First, let us start off with a toast." He raised his slung arm and snapped his fingers, and small droplets of the orange-colored wine floated up from the glass, quite romantic in one way, yet sinister in another. Suddenly, or rather what felt to her as gradually, a charm began to overcome her, causing her to see things in a different, romantic light that only women perchance to see; reality felt distorted as she kept her gaze upon these droplets, which were slowly coming toward her. "Now, open your mouth," he replied seductively, his eyes shut but his smile firm. "Pearls of fruit will slowly come in."
Despite the romantic light she saw him in, she grew ever more nervous and disgusted with the man. She began to fidget; it was not that she was not used to being courted to, it was more that a creep whom she had to pretend to like was wooing her. I have to hang in there! She kept her mouth open, shutting her eyes to avoid seeing that scene before her. But suddenly, realization hit her, and she stood up, knocking away the droplets with her hand. "What are you planning?" She asked fiercely, catching him off guard. "This is sleeping magic, called "Sleep," right?" She glared on at him.
He regained his composure, allowing a not-so-friendly smirk to splay across his face. "You're pretty sharp." He rubbed his hand against his chin; alongside the love charm ring was another ring, this one with a closed eye and a cloud. Another charm at his disposal.
"Don't misunderstand me." Lucy replied firmly, standing her ground. "I want to join Fairy Tail, but I have no intention of becoming your girl." She placed one hand on her hip.
However, he chuckled deviously, flipping around so his short cloak swung the wrinkles out from the cloth and so he could affirm a better stance. "I guess there's no other way with this one. Boys!" He called out to the deck area, where the party should have been taking place. The door opened and the curtain was pushed open, revealing sneering pirate-like men with the women from the party slung over their shoulders and across their backs. All of the women here unconscious, presumably from another type of sleeping charm.
Lucy felt her heart pause for a moment. "W-what the hell is this?"
"Welcome aboard my ship." Salamander's character had changed drastically from being the creep to becoming the villain. "I must ask you to behave until we reach Bosco … my lady." He directed his glance once more at Lucy, knowing full well that she was surrounded by his followers.
"Bosco? Wait, what happened to Fairy Tail?" She demanded of Salamander, momentarily turning her back to the thugs in the room.
"Give it up! From now on, you're our merchandise!" He shrugged, throwing off an aura of dominance and of villainous deeds.
"That's … then, these girls as well?" She turned to look at the other victims, feeling even more disgust well up in her throat.
His cronies began cheering Salamander on, only feeding his ego. "As expected of Salamander!" "We scored big this time!"
Lucy felt her teeth begin to grind. "You-!" She quickly reached for her keys, but Salamander noticed and quickly used some of his dark flame magic to flick the keys out of her hand before she could summon any of her spirits! "Aah!" Lucy, grasped her wrist, feeling a stinging, bruising sensation begin to grow.
Salamander began to spin the keys on his fingers, observing them carefully. "Mmm? Keys of the Gates? So you're a Celestial Mage, huh? Well, only contracted mages can use this type of magic. So these things are useless to me." He quickly tossed the keys at an unprecedented speed so that they flew out of the cabin's door and landed with a plop! into the ocean's depths.
Her initial reaction was shock, unable to look at the repulsive creature before her, locking her gaze at the ground. ' What … what is wrong with this guy? ',She gritted her teeth, her shock ever slowly transforming into anger, frustration, disgust. To do something like this … her eyes drifted a little to her sides, catching the sight of the other women caught under the spell.' He … he dares to call himself a real mage? I planned on using him to get into Fairy Tail?' She chanced to look at the vile human – if he could even be called human –before her, only feeling her anger rise from her stomach into her throat, making her fists tremble. Using magic for evil, and tricking people … you …! "You're the worst type of mage there is!" She screamed as tears began to stream down her face; she always knew that abhorrent people existed in the world, and she had met some of them before, but this … this by far …!
As if by chance, at the pivot of the plot within that room, a loud, thunderous CRACK! sounded from above the decks' upper level outside, and the ship itself rocked beyond the waves' gentle pushes. It startled many of the snickering buffoons inside, some of them starting to look around, wondering what that was. Lucy too was startled, but quickly began formulating how she might get off the ship to find her keys and foil Salamander's plan.
"Go check that out!" Salamander ordered, pointing to some of the men, who quickly sounded a "Yes sir!" and headed out onto the deck.
'W-what's going on?' Lucy wondered, her eyes wide as she felt the grip of the two men holding her hostage tighten. More importantly, ' how can I use this to my advantage ?'
Seconds later, shouts were heard, and the sound of several men being killed could be heard which anyone shocked. One of the men managed to make his way back into the room without his leg which horrified everyone "B-boss! A strange girl found her way onto our ship and is "Attacking us!"
Salamander raised an eyebrow in surprise, his mouth simultaneously forming a frown of fear. "Take care of her then! Everyone, help me and ignore the slave." Everyone, including Salamander, hurried out of the room to enclose the intruder on the main deck. All of Salamander companions, including the boss himself, were gone. Before Lucy could find her key, she heard screams and the sounds of men being killed, including Salamander. This froze her in fear as she heard footsteps approaching. "Please don't come here," she whispered.
Fortunately, a strange woman approached her, and Lucy is surprise due to her identity. The one who saved her is Morgan. "Morgan, did you just—" Lucy's words were cut off as Morgan revealed something in her right hand, causing Lucy to pale. It was the head of Fake Salamander, also known as Bora the Prominence.
There was no conversation between Lucy and Morgan, but suddenly, a loud crash from above drew their attention. Two newcomers appeared: one human with pink hair and an Arabian-style outfit, and behind him, a blue cat with white wings carrying him. That is Natsu and Happy.
Both newcomers had horrified expressions as they saw the head of Fake Salamander in Morgan's right hand. There was no reaction between the four of them until someone broke the tension.
"Please stop her," a voice came from one of Bora's companions, in a dire condition, nearly death with no hand because Morgan already cut it. "That girl will kill everything even anyone you care." He pointed fearfully at Morgan. His words were abruptly cut off as a spell on his leg disintegrated from intense heat, flames spreading throughout his body. His screams grew louder as the fire consumed him, reducing him to a badly-charred head and ashes in a matter of three seconds.
Everyone, except Morgan, was shocked with horror. Lucy noticed that Morgan's expression showed neither surprise nor fear, indicating that it was what she had previously done. Meanwhile, although Natsu and Happy had the same expression as Lucy, the two of them subtly looked at each other and nodded. They both convinced themselves of one thing: to stop Morgan from killing anyone on the ship.
Lucy saw Natsu and Happy glaring at Morgan. Before she could react, the two of them moved so quickly to grab Morgan and took her somewhere. Judging by their reactions, there were two possibilities for what they did to Morgan: either capture her and let the Rune Knights handle it or, worst-case scenario, they intended to kill Morgan.
As Lucy watched the two strangers disappear along with Morgan, despite the brutal way Morgan had saved her by killing Fake Salamander and his group, she considered Morgan her new friend. Feeling helpless with nothing she could do, she screamed her friend's name.
"MORGANNNNNNNNN"
And here is Chapter 2. In the next chapter, there is a fight between Morgan and Natsu due to a misunderstanding and she and lucy join Fairy Tail. If you have any recommendations or criticisms about this story, please review. All of your reviews cheer me up. I hope I can update this story sooner, despite the fact that my way of writing fighting scenes is not good.
Now, this time, I will respond to the reviews of this story.
Emiya Unlimited Blade Works and Bravo Six: I like that you guys enjoyed it because Morgan is your favorite character. One of the reasons I write this story is because Morgan has the potential as the main character. Not to mention, most of her stories as the central character in AO3 are really good, although they are one-shots. Most Morgan stories in fanfic just focus on pairing her with Ritsuka or members of a harem, and it really puts me off because it's such a waste of a character.
I saw a thread about why Morgan in Reddit. That thread is interesting because, compared to another Lostbelt king, she should not answer Chaldea summoning due to only caring about Britain. Most Lostbelt kings, like Arjuna Alter, want to correct his flaws and become human again. That's what happens when you ascend him and rise the bond. Skadi, now that PHH is the best choice, says that in her final fight, seeing her losing her world makes sense. She becomes a Chaldea servant to help the PHH; that is correct. Qin even helped destroy his own Lostbelt in the end by noticing that he was wrong. So him helping destroy the others makes sense for him. Ivan, according to his Interlude, is actually PPH Ivan in the BODY of his Lostbelt self. So he's fine with being summoned to help out his own history, and the last is Kukulkan due to her helping Chaldea to put down ORT and fans of proper human history.
DragonTamer1: I read the story itself, and to be honest, I felt Morgan is out of character because she ran away just because Erza insulted her. According to Morgan in her Valentine, she still remembers some beautiful things about Britain despite fairies betraying her: "Fairyland is no more, but its culture and joy remain in my heart." And Bonding 5 mentions this time she still wants to make a kingdom with added laws. There's no mention of her regret about being a tyrant.
Archangel Xireon Chaos God: Thanks for enjoying this story, and here's the chapter for you.
Also, there are three scenarios in my mind about this story:
1. Morgan and Lucy forming the team itself, meanwhile, Natsu joined Erza and Gray's team. I don't know where Wendy should join. If you have suggestions about this, please comment.
2. Totorot or LB6 Habetrot will join this story, and she just separates far away from Morgan. I think this is a chance for them to meet each other again. In LB6, they never meet each other.
3. Morgan will have her own Edolas counterpart.
Okay, this is all the content for Chapter 2.
The next chapter title is Fairy Tail.
