"The very same castle," Inuyasha replied, eyes widening. "But how did you come to know about it?"
"My cousin, who happens to be the newly appointed mayor, lives in the town bordering the castle," Brett responded.
Inuyasha's curiosity was piqued. "Who's your cousin?"
"Miroku."
Inuyasha's eyebrows shot up, "That goofball is related to you?"
Brett chuckled, "Shockingly, yes. Many find it hard to believe, but it's true. And despite his quirks, I'm fond of him. Not only is he my last living relative, but we were also thick as thieves growing up. By the way, how did you and Scott cross paths?"
Scott caught Inuyasha's glance, nodding subtly in approval.
"It's a tale for the ages," began Inuyasha.
"We've got all the time," Brett assured, leaning back comfortably. "This session still got a couple of hours."
Inuyasha then weaved their story, one of challenges and love, causing the room to hang on his every word.
"Such a heartwarming story," Brett said, clearly moved. "Now you're married with pups on the way. Meeting because of some guy's rude behavior, leading you to the castle... it sounds like destiny."
Scott nodded, a faint smile playing on his lips. "It doesn't feel like mere coincidence that he lost his way near my castle. More like fate intertwined our paths and broke my curse. Now, two years later, we're here, living our best life in this salon."
Brett gestured toward the tables, "Speaking of which, if you both could turn over, we can continue."
Inuyasha and Scott complied.
Curiosity still burning, Inuyasha turned to Mason. "How did you and Brett get together?"
Mason sighed, beginning his tale. "Our story bears similarities to yours. During my time at Beacon Hills High, life took a sinister turn with the appearance of the so-called 'dread doctors'. Weird occurrences began, students vanished only to return with no memories."
He continued, detailing the possession and the upheaval it caused in his life.
"Then, in a desperate bid, my supernatural friends and hunters united against the beast. Lydia, with her banshee powers, salvaged my soul, detaching the beast's spirit. Brett, with the aid of a hellhound, managed to capture and annihilate the beast using the very weapon from ancient tales that once felled it."
Improved dialogue and flow:
"Tragically, although I started out as human, a fragment of the demon wolf lingered within me, transforming me into a werewolf," Mason began. "And as Jackson mentioned, I've recently presented as an omega. It's unusual, considering an omega is born only once every fifty to a hundred years."
Inuyasha nodded thoughtfully. "I might have some insight into that. A packmate of mine was an omega. He was the last of his kind before tragically dying during childbirth. My theory is that a piece of his soul found its way to you upon his death."
"Why do you think so?" Mason asked.
Inuyasha took a deep breath, "His family believed in reincarnation. Also, when I first encountered you earlier, I felt an inexplicable bond, reminiscent of my connection with my pack father's mate. I'm certain Koga felt it too, judging by his gaze."
Mason's eyes widened. "That's quite astonishing, but it strangely resonates with me. When our paths crossed earlier, I had this nagging feeling of déjà vu. It's clearer now. But shifting topics, are you both prepared for the next phase of the massage?"
Both Scott and Inuyasha eagerly responded, "Absolutely!"
The subsequent hour was dedicated to the more intimate part of the massage. Once the session concluded, both Inuyasha and Scott donned robes and settled into the pedicure chairs.
