After glazing the deer and vegetables, Sesshomaru put the baking sheets into the oven and closed the oven then looked at his son.

Make sure you gradually stir the stew every half hour and base the deer and vegetables ok!

Shippou nodded. No problem father, you know you can trust me with this. Shippou said proudly.

Sesshomaru smiled and left the kitchen and headed to his room to relax. For the next three hours Shippou's maintained the stew and deer. Thirty minutes later the timer went off symbolizing that the stew was done so he used the kitchen phone to call Chris and Peter.

Chris picked up the phone.

"Hey Chris, this is Shippou I just thought I let you know that the stew for lunch is ready so if you and Pete could come to the kitchen and start handing out the stew to everyone?"

"Absolutely! Pete and I will be right there in a moment."

"Great, see you soon."

Hanging up the phone and then went to the cupboard above the sink counter and grabbed out bowls and then went into the pantry and pulled out baguettes. I also went into the fridge taking out butter. Shippou then started cutting the baguettes in half and into slices.

Shippou then took out small plates for the bread and butter. Place two slices of bread on each plate. Afterwards, turned off the stove and used the ladle to scoop a generous amount of the stew into each bowl.

After he was done grabbed two carts out of the closet and placed the bowls and plates on the carts for Chris and Peter to take to make it easier for them to hand out the stew and bread. Making sure to leave one bowl and plate on the counter for himself.

Minutes later Chris and Peter arrived at the kitchen and gratefully took the carts with a smile.

"Don't worry about coming for the carts, we will bring them back before we take our food share." Said Chris

Shippou nodded. That will be much appreciated since the dinner will still require my full attention.

They nodded and left to take the food to everyone first stopping at the library to give the food to the boys and Allison, next heading to Sesshomaru, Kate, Victoria, and Liam's room giving their share to them, lastly, they went back to the kitchen returning the carts and taking their share.

After Chris and Peter left the kitchen Shippou grabbed the bowl and plate he set aside for himself and sat down at the staff table in the kitchen to eat his share. While Shippou was eating and drawing in his sketchbook he gradually kept an eye on the deer basting it every 45 minutes.

Throughout that everyone gradually returned for seconds and also thirds of bread and stew. Two hours later everyone returned their empty dishes to be cleaned. After they all left Shippou finished up his third refill and started to clean the dishes used to make the stew and eat it.

An hour later, with the dishes completed and put away, Shippou went over to the oven and used the last of the basting glaze then set the timer for three hours. After setting the timer he started to make homemade ice cream, cake and cookies for dessert later.

Two hours later, the desserts were done so he put the cake and the cookies in the fridge and the ice cream in the freezer then looking at the timer seeing that he still had an hour left until dinner was ready, he decided to clean the dishes and counter from making the desserts.

Thirty minutes later, he finished cleaning the counter and dishes as well as putting them away. Seeing that he still has thirty minutes til the deer and veggies are done. He started to grab plates and silverware and placed them on the dining room table.

Twenty minutes later, he finished setting up the table with ten minutes to spare so he quickly grabbed a metal bowl filling it with ice, glasses, wine, milk, and juice and placed them on the table as well placing the wine in the bowl with the ice to keep it cold.

After the table was completed, he heard the timer go off. Going back into the kitchen and putting on oven mitts to remove the baking sheets and bring them to the table one by one. By the time he brought out the last sheet he noticed that everyone had already arrived from the smell of food.

Smiling, he placed the last sheet on the table in the middle of the table and joined everyone sitting down.

"Man, Ships this looks absolutely delicious. I made the correct choice in making you the new chef." Said Scott proudly.

Shippou blushes at the compliment.

"Thanks uncle that means a lot. My late father and Sess taught me everything I know about cooking so I can't take all of the credit." Shippou said bashfully.

"Nonsense son you did most of the work all I did is pre-season the food." Added Sesshomaru

"Well enough of this mushy talk I am sure the king mate is starving from the drool coming from his mouth." Allison jokes.

Inuyasha became the center of attention then everyone realized that she was right. There literally was a tiny puddle forming from his drool. After Shippou gave the go ahead everyone started to dig in. Thirty minutes into dinner the silence was broken by Scott.

"So, Victoria, are we still on for tomorrow at 11am for you, me, Liam, and Inuyasha to go to the market?"

"Yes, that is still the plan unless you had something come up."

"No, nothing at all."

"That is good to hear. Be sure to be ready by 10:45am boys."

"Yes, ma'am don't worry."

Going back to eating, the group gradually made small conversation throughout dinner. Two hours later, after all of the main course was gone. All that was left was empty bones and cobs, so Kate and Allison got up and took care of the dishes besides the glasses and drinks.

Brought them to the sink and started to clean them. Forty-five minutes later, they finished cleaning the dishes and putting them away. Going back over to the table and sat back down to join the others relaxing off the meal.

An hour later, the silence was broken by Shippou.

Anyone up for dessert?

They all raised their hands.

Shippou nods, getting up and going over to the fridge and freezer taking out the desserts. Bringing them over to the table and placing them down then heading to the cupboards and grabbed bowls, plates, spoons, pie scoop, ice cream scoop, wine, sparkling cider, and forks.

Bringing the dishes, wine, kid wine, and utensils to the table. Passing out the bowls and utensils to everyone. Afterwards, opened the wine for the adults and sparkling cider for the kids. Filling up the glasses for the adults halfway with wine then the kids halfway with kid wine.

When he was done filling up the glasses he went back to his seat and started serving out the dessert. Every time he finished with a plate and bowl; he handed it to his father to pass down. Fifteen minutes later, everyone was served cake and ice cream as well as cookies and milk.

Everyone started to dig in.

"Man, first the amazing lunch then dinner and now an awesome dessert you really have outdone yourself my son I have no more to teach you. You have surpassed me in cooking and baking." Admitted Sesshomaru.

This admission caused Shippou to blush crimson.

"I second that." Everyone else says.

"Thanks guys, so far it has been an honor to be a part of this family and part of the staff, but I am sure I still have lots to learn about new types of cooking and baking." Shippou says shyly.

"Don't sell yourself short babe you are better than you think." Said the twins.

Shippou blushes.

Going back to eating and making small conversation between bites as the time passed the desserts gradually disappeared. 40 minutes later, dessert was completely gone so everyone got up and bid each other adieu. Shippou was about to start cleaning up but his dad stopped him.
