Twenty-five minutes later, they arrived and walked in.
"Welcome! Oh Hi Scott and Inuyasha!"
"Hey Lydia how are you and how was yours and your girlfriend's Christmas?"
"I am good and it was great the girls took me out and practically dragged me everywhere to keep me from getting to my mothers. So what brings you in?"
"Well the four of us are hungry for a late launch and early dinner if that is not too much trouble.
"Not at all and lucky for you a booth just opened up."
"Perfect."
"Just follow me."
The four followed Lydia to the back booth and sat down. A moment later the waiter arrived.
"Hey guys how have you been and what happened to you Inuyasha?"
"Hey Corey we are great and how are you also I am pregnant."
"I am great and congratulations. By the way, last week there were these two friendly gentlemen who mentioned that they were looking for you."
"Did you by any chance get their names?"
"Yes I did but speak of the devil there they are right on time just like clockwork."
Both Inuyasha and Scott looked where Corey was pointing and they couldn't believe their eyes. It was Derek and Stiles. Derek and Stiles then noticed the cute waiter over at a table and what surprised them was who was sitting there.
Going over and reuniting with the couple.
"Hey fellas, it has been a long time!"
"Yes it has been boys. What are you two doing here in the states?"
"Well first may we join you?"
They nodded.
Stiles sat by Liam and Derek sat by Inuyasha.
"Well for starters let's get drinks and apps first before catching up if that is okay?" Asked Derek.
"Absolutely we are starving." Said the four.
"Corey we will take our usual drinks and apps." Said Derek.
"Scott and I will take hot tea and one of each app".
"And my son and I will take a coke and mozzs and poppers."
"Alrighty just give me a moment to put that order in."
Corey left and headed over to the order window to put in their apps and drinks.
"So, back to why we are here."
"Well the owner of the Demon King's Inn called a meeting at headquarters not long after you guys left to discuss new business opportunities to open more inn's around the globe.
Since the locations in the eastern continents are doing so well he plans on opening Inn's in the states. Starting with California and working his way throughout the other states in the next decade.
Before the meeting was over he asked for volunteers to transfer to the new location and Stiles and I offered. He then gladly accepted and gave us paid leave for the next six months while the Inn was under construction.
He even paid for our transfer trip and hotel room for the next six months as well. Also we are engaged to be married and mated. And lastly Stiles' demon blood awoke for some odd reason not too long after you guys left the Inn nine months ago and presented as an omega shortly after his demon blood awakened." Said Derek proudly.
"That is awesome and that also was very considerate of him to do. Now I am looking forward to our coming anniversary. We really enjoyed our stay at the inn and were thinking of going again in the future." Said Inuyasha and Scott with delight.
"I am glad to hear that. Plus I am sure that the owner will be happy to hear that I also see that you have changed a bit Inuyasha."
Inuyasha blushes. "Yes, I am 12 months pregnant today."
"Damn you're in the third trimester already, time really does fly. But I would've thought you would have had a human or demon's gestation?"
"That is what I thought as well but when my pregnancy went past the nine months mark, I just figured that I must be carrying multiples. Scott then later mentioned that the other reason could be that you're having a werewolf's gestation which is typically ten to eighteen months.
At first, I was angry when he said that and came to realize that I would be most likely pregnant for double the time period. Don't worry he did get chewed out for neglecting that information, but I don't regret our decision to start a family one bit."
"It is good to hear that. Said Stiles sympathetically."
"Your news is amazing as well so is Stiles able to turn it on and off by showing and hiding his demonic features?"
"You tell me." Stiles jokes.
Before their very eyes they saw his human ears disappear and on the top of his head two purple cat ears sprouted and a long fluffy purple tail wrapped around Derek's waist, lastly inch long black claws extended out on his fingertips.
"Damn I am jealous of you Stiles. It took me at least three years to be able to transform at will when I was just a kid and you're able to do it in just twelve months, which is an amazing feat to accomplish.
Most werewolves who are turned by a bite or spell take at least half a decade to longer sometimes to fully control it. I guess it is the same for full demons as well. Scott explains."

"Yes unlike for demons they are only born but it is the same for full demons and people born with demon blood like Stiles whose gene laid dormant and suddenly was activated by an occurrence or phenomenon. For cat demons and wolf demons it comes more naturally to them.
Verses fox, dog, snake, otter, badger, spider demons, etc. It is much harder since they are less common species of demon and don't have the ability to get the necessary training when they are adolescents.
By the time of my birth the cat, fox, snake, dog, and spider demon numbers had dwindled down next to nothing. When the great demon extermination happened the last of the cat, wolf, snake, badger, fox, and spider were thought to be wiped out.
Strangely my nephew's cousin and the friends of my father's friends survived and are the last of the snake demons, my brother and I are the last of the dog demons, Stiles is the last of the cat demons, and my nephew and his distant cousin are the last of fox blood.
Before long the demon race will be completely gone but that luckily won't happen for another several centuries. Because demons, no matter if they are full or half live for several centuries to two millennia like werewolves do.
But the alphas and omegas tend to live longer at most times because they are stronger and not to mention rare too. So, nature finds a balance for them to keep them alive as long as possible for another one to emerge by birth or present years later after birth.
To be an alpha or omega at birth is extremely rare. Surprisingly my godson is an alpha from birth since his fathers bloodline is a long line of alphas. Thanks to the advancements in modern medicines they live even longer to increase the chance of one being born more often.
Whereas betas and neutral genders are more common. Betas being the lackeys of the pack status that share their strength to make the pack stronger to protect their loved ones and pups.
For neutrals they don't have a secondary gender but can be of demon, human or werewolf bloodline. Just that the gene had laid dormant for centuries and is rare to show its nature.
Unlike you Stiles you are one of the rare cases where at first you were considered a neutral gender but just by luck your secondary gender and demon nature activated almost simultaneously which is an even rarer occurrence.
Because when the gene has been laid dormant for so long and there is only a very slim chance for either your true nature to show itself or your secondary gender rarely both. Like I said before, you are a rare one indeed. Be sure to treasure this.
There is a legend about when this type of occurrence happens. It sometimes means that dark times are coming in the near future so be prepared for anything. The last time this happened was over two thousand years ago then again 1760s and let me tell you it didn't end well but that is a story for another day."

Five minutes later, Corey returned with their drinks and apps.
"Here you go everyone, is there anything else you will need for me to get?"
"No, we are all good."
"Great, enjoy your apps and the buffet. Corey nodded and left."
"So, let me get this straight for the last twelve months you have been living here in California and not once tried to contact us!"
"We did try to find that castle you mentioned but those woods are like a bloody maze. We just kept going in circles. We also found out that the children of the Higurashi's were living in your old cottage. But sadly couldn't remember either on how to get to the castle as well because they lost the map."
"Typical I bet it was little Souta that lost it?" Said Inuyasha reluctantly.
"It was actually sad to say." Added Derek
Inuyasha waved the waiter down. Corey noticed and went over to the table.
"How may I help you?"
"Would you please bring a pen and printer paper please?"
"What for if you don't mind me asking?"
"Just to doodle."
Corey knew that was a lie but didn't press the issue. Leaving and returning seconds later with the items.
"Here you go!"
"Thanks!"
"Is there anything else that I can get for you?"
"Yes, some hibachi platters please." Announced Derek
"With what type of meat?"
"One with beef, one with chicken, lastly one with pork and a large serving of sticky rice with sweet and sour sauce and soy sauce on the side if you would please. Added Liam."
"Splendid I will put that order in for you."
Corey left to put the hibachi orders in. Minutes later Liam, Stiles, Victoria, and Inuyasha got up and went over to the buffet while Scott drew out the map for Derek and Stiles.
The four of them grabbed two plates each filling them up with sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, teriyaki chicken, egg rolls, spring rolls, pork rolls, crab Rangoon's, and lo mein.
Five minutes later the four returned and Scott finished drawing the map out. After the four sat down Scott and Derek got up and went to the buffet as well filling two plates with the same foods.
Five minutes later, they returned and sat down and everyone began to dig in. Fifteen minutes later, Corey arrived with the hibachi orders, rice and sauce. Taking their empty cups, pots and app plates and placing refilled pots and cups on the table as well.
"Here you go, enjoy. Is there anything else you need?"
"No Corey, we are good for now and thanks for the refills." Said Derek.
"My pleasure also Mrs. Lydia told me to tell you that your food is on the house as a late Christmas present to you all."
"Well tell her that is very kind of her and very much appreciated if you would please?"
"Will do you all enjoy your food and let me know right away if there is anything you are in need of."
"We will don't you worry about that Corey."
With that Corey left.
"How are you two liking the states so far?" Asked Scott.
"Well for starters the weather patterns are quite different here than in Asia. It is always all over the place it gets so confusing."
"Tell me about it, it's up, it's down, hot, cold, warm, cool, grueling, muggy and rarely just right lol." Scott jokes.
"Yeah no kidding! But other than that it is a very interesting country to live in not to mention how much more accepting they are here of same sex couples. And they don't discriminate against secondary genders as much as they did in the eastern countries." Stiles admits.
"I will say this Stiles and I plan on making this our permanent home for the rest of our lives and the lives of our children and grandchildren." Added Derek.
"That is great to hear you say. I am sure you will feel at peace finally here." Said Inuyasha excitedly.
"Yes it is a more peaceful country when there is less of bigotry and discrimination most people just look the other way here and bite their tongues. Yes there are still some cases of bigotry and discrimination but they are rare thankfully." Added Scott.
The six of them go back to eating four hours later, the platters were eaten as well as the food on their plates. Corey noticed this and went over to the table and cleared it of dishes. Luckily it was the only table left open since the buffet closes in an hour.
Forty-five minutes later, Scott and Inuyasha as well as Derek and Stiles got up to get ice cream for everyone. Two minutes later, they returned with several cones with vanilla, strawberry, mint, and chocolate topped on each one.
Handing them out and sitting down to enjoy the ice cream. Twenty minutes later, they noticed that Lydia and Corey were finishing up the closing tasks so they all got up. Not before taking out some cash and leaving a very generous tip for Corey.
After doing so they all walked out of the buffet licking at the last flavor on their cones. Once they were out Lydia went over and locked the doors.
"So, Derek, how far is the hotel you're staying at?" Asked Scott.
"Not far about three miles why?"
"Well if you want you can come stay the next couple of weeks while they finish the last parts of the Inn? Since New years is just around the corner. I also bet you don't want to spend it just you two alone but with others." Said Scott.
Stiles and Derek looked at each other and then with a nod of their heads they looked back to Scott.
"Yes we would be delighted to spend the next couple weeks with you just let us grab our stuff from the hotel." Said Stiles gratefully.
"Alright lead the way."
The four of them got into the Camaro whereas Derek and Stiles got into the jeep. Starting up the Camaro and jeep and started to drive off.
Forty-five minutes later, both the jeep and the Camaro arrived at the hotel. Derek and Stiles hopped out of the jeep and went to their room. Thirty minutes later, they returned with two suitcases each and a gigantic igloo cooler.
Opening the back seat doors and putting all of the stuff back there. Afterwards they went over to the hotel office and handed in their key to the receptionist and left. Moments later they got back into the jeep and started it up.
The Camaro and jeep go back the way they came with Derek and Stiles following behind in the jeep. Two and a half hours later, they arrived at the castle gates. After the four exited the Camaro they opened the back to take out the bags of toys and their books. Just moments after they finished both Derek and Stiles had removed their luggage from the back seat.
Scott then walked over to the gate and opened them then walked to the front doors and opened them as well. Going back to the camaro and hopping back in the passenger seat.
Minutes later the six drove through the gates and up to the entrance. Exiting the vehicles and grabbing their items and walking to the front doors. Upon entering the foyer Stiles and Derek were amazed by the extravagant design and decor.
"Is everything original or brand new and updated?" Asked Derek.
Derek couldn't help but see the similarities to his old house in Asia that he lived in as a kid before it was burned down.
"Well ever since the pack, Inuyasha, Shippou, and Sesshomaru moved here it has been renovated quite a few times and the rooms to fit their needs including the guest room." Said Scott.
"Nice it sounds like that a lot of work and time has been put into the castle throughout the generations it has stood here." Added Stiles.
"Yeah, my father tried to maintain it while he was still alive. Even his father added his own touches as well and eleven months ago I added mine to make Inuyasha feel more at home." Said Scott.
"Aww how sweet." Derek said affectionately.
"But anyway why don't the four of us go to the living room to catch up while the others go to sleep?" Asked Scott.
Derek and Stiles nodded.
Inuyasha handed the bags to Chris and also informed him that there are more presents for Scott out in the van that needed to be wrapped for tomorrow morning since we were out so late.
Chris nodded and left.
Stiles, Derek, Scott, and Inuyasha went into the living room to sit down by the fire to relax. Minutes later, Kate arrived with four mugs of peppermint hot cocoa. The four gladly accepted them with thanks. Kate bowed and left to go to sleep.
"How have you guys been?" Asked Stiles.
"Great, but really tired as of late."
"Understandable Yash you're close to the end of your pregnancy so it would make sense that you would be." Added Derek.
"Yeah true I just wished that it was over already these guys like to kick up a storm."
"So you found out what you are having awesome have you picked out names yet." Asked Stiles.
"No not yet but we have enough of the essentials for when they are born just haven't chosen names."
"Well you better hurry soon." Added Derek.
"Don't worry, we have a few months to go."
"If you need help picking out names we don't mind helping. Offered Derek."
"That would be much appreciated Derek thanks." Said Scott.
"Anytime."
"But anyway what is the real reason why you volunteered to be transferred here?" Asked Scott.
"Well for starters after Stiles' demon nature showed itself we felt not safe anymore in asia after hearing your mates hardship so we decided that it would be best to leave." Said Derek regrettably.
"That makes sense you felt protective of your omega and worried about his safety. That is the job of an alpha." Said Scott proudly.
Which earned him a kiss on the lips from Inuyasha who Scott returned in earnest.
"How did you two meet? You only told us the cliff notes version of your meeting." Asked Scott curiously.
"Before I can tell you how we met we need to tell you our backstories." Said Derek and Stiles.
