The next morning, Inuyasha quietly climbed out of bed and quickly but carefully got dressed then left the bedroom. Upon entering the foyer Inuyasha was stopped by Peter and Chris.
Good sir, why are you up so early?

Peter and Chris helped Inuyasha to the library when they entered they saw Sesshomaru asleep in a chair surrounded by books. The scene caused them to chuckle in turn, waking him up with a startle.

Well a few weeks ago Peter and Chris agreed to teach me how to use a bow and gun. Moments later Peter and Chris returned with several books on bow and rifle training as well as cleaning. Minutes later after Peter and Chris returned with the books, Sesshomaru had come and gone with bringing the three breakfast. For the next five hours the Inuyasha read the books and ate while Peter and Chris hung out together by the fire feeding each other romantically.
By the end of the fifth hour there was rapid knocking at the library door so Peter got up to see it was. Upon opening the door he was knocked to the ground by Scott rushing in.

With a bow the pair left to fulfill their king's request. After the pair left the library Inuyasha got up and started putting away the books. Before he had a chance Scott was there in an instant already picking up the books and went to put them back.
Moments later Scott returned with a biography of the town's tales and history. Sitting down on the floor between Inuyasha legs and resting his head on his pregnant belly and started reading.
Two hours later, they heard a knock at the library door. Scott handed the book to Inuyasha and then got up and walked over to it. Upon opening it Scott saw Sesshomaru.
My king lunch is ready and it is also time for your daily kingly duties for the afternoon. So why don't you head to your study and I will meet you there after I help my brother to the kitchen for lunch. Don't worry about your food. I will personally bring your share to you so run along now.
Scott nodded and went over to his mate sharing a quick kiss.

The action caused Sesshomaru to giggle. Once they deemed Scott was far away enough from earshot, Sesshomaru went over to his brother and leaned down to his ear.

Five minutes later, when they arrived they noticed everyone in a bustle with the preparations for later tonight. Ignoring them, Sesshomaru brought his brother over to the barstools and sat him down on one and then sat down next to him.

Ten minutes later, the corner where Inuyasha was sitting was then filled with several plates of food.

The staff nodded and bowed. And with that Sesshomaru left the kitchen ten minutes later, he arrived at the king's chambers door.
When he arrived he noticed that the door was opened. Sniffing the air to deem it safe. After a few minutes he recognized the scent coming from the room to be his son, Sesshomaru smiled and then entered.
Hey son, what are you doing here? Oh hey dad well the twins are asleep still which means they forgot about our date. Well why don't you scurry along and wake those two dunderheads up and go on a date.
Shippou nods and leaves. After leaving the bedroom Shippou went through the cave entrance in the library to go wake up the twins. Twenty minutes later, after walking down the long tunnel he arrived at the nest.
Disrobing and shifting into his fox form then pouncing on the two sleeping wolves startling them awake with yips. The three of them shifted to their humanoid forms and started wrestling.

The four of them left the castle and hopped into Ethans pickup, starting it up and they were off. Thirty minutes later, they arrived in town then the four of them got out after Ethan parked the truck in front of the shopping mall.

Scott nodded. For the next two hours Scott and Sesshomaru went over the complaints and paperwork. By seven they finished most of it and then decided to head to the king's chambers to take a nap. Sesshomaru and Scott took the dungeon passageway that connects to the hallway of the west wing.
So why are we taking the long way through the dungeon instead of going the quicker way? Asked Scott suspiciously.
No reason. Sesshomaru said with a smirk
Meanwhile back at the king's chambers..
Three hours later, Inuyasha awakes to the sounds of bustle throughout the castle. Sitting up and rubbing the sleep out his eyes then noticing Scott in the bed asleep and Sesshomaru in the lounge chair asleep as well. Getting up quietly and leaving the room. When he arrived at the foyer he was amazed by the galant decorations, a mixture of Scott's and Inuyasha's heritages in one.
Hey mate king, did you sleep well? Asked Peter.
Why yes I did. You did an amazing job with the decor I will say.

Oh he is probably still in his study filling out paperwork.
Oh ok then why don't you go sit down on the living room couch and leave the last of the preparations to us.

The others nodded and left for the ballroom. Ten minutes later, there was a knock on the ballroom doors so everyone quickly turned out the lights and hid. Seconds later the doors opened and the lights flashed on.
SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY KING SCOTT! Said everyone.
Oh you guys thanks and I will admit this is totally a surprise. Brother is this why you wanted us to take the back way so I won't see the decorations? Asked Scott
Sesshomaru nodded.

Oh we are just about to, we just wanted to make sure that your presents were taken care of that's all. Said Ginta.
Well thanks boys, that is mighty sweet of you but if you could hurry and finish up so I can put Inuyasha to bed and I can make my way to the study to finish up my leftover paperwork.
The trio nodded. Ten minutes later, the trio finished and left for their room after bidding the kings a good night. After the trio were gone Scott went over to the bed and placed Inuyasha on it then started stripping him of his clothes.
When he was done he covered Inuyasha in the blankets and covers and placed a kiss on his forehead and left the bedroom. Three hours later, Scott returned half asleep to their chambers, walked inside and closed the door, stripped down and climbed into bed cradling Inuyasha in a protective embrace and quickly fell asleep.
