"LDS' fourth player showed me his overwhelming ability and strategy" Yuzu recaps. "Fusion Summon! Be born! D/D/D Flame King Genghis!" Reiji declares (ATK: 2000). "Synchro Summon! Be born! Level 7! D/D/D Gust King Alexander" Reiji declares (ATK: 2500). "Xyz Summon! Be born! Rank 4! Wave King Caesar!" Reiji finishes. Caesar appears, standing (ATK: 2400).

Adjusting his glasses "Battle Phase!" Reiji declares. "I attack Viola with Flame King Genghis!" He orders. "Quick-Play Spell, Diva Festival, activates!" Yuzu quickly declares. "I Summon three Diva Tokens in Defense Position" She explains (DEF: 0x3). "By this card's effect, the opponent can only target Diva Tokens for attack!" Yuzu adds. Genghis bisects one of the Tokens "Alright, she protected Viola!" Tatsuya cheers. "Good reaction, Yuzu!" Gongenzaka cheers. "Continue! Gust King Alexander, attack Diva Token!" Reiji declares and it destroys another Diva Token. "At this moment, Alexander's monster effect activates" Reiji states. "Once per turn, when Alexander destroys a monster, it can destroy one more monster!" He explains. Yuzu, Viola and the remaining Diva Token all react with horror as Alexander destroys the final Token with another slash of its one-handed blade and leaps back to Reiji's field. "Attack now, Wave King Caesar! Obliterate Viola!" Reiji orders and both monsters leap forwards. Caesar destroys Viola with one swing of its massive blade "Viola!" Yuzu cries out, Caesar leaps back to Reiji's field as Yuzu's LP is reduced (Yuzu's LP: 3300). "Damnit! He still managed to destroy all of them!" Futoshi curses unhappily. "I set one card and end my turn" Reiji states. "You're amazing! Yuzu calls it. "So this is your real strength?" She wonders. "I was honestly shocked when I saw that you could control all three summoning methods!" She admits. "Now, it's my turn!" Yuzu states "I can't use Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz, but… I have a unique power that's been given to me!" She points out. "The fun has just begun!" Yuzu declares, and she draws.

She's drawn Dulcet the Melodious Sorceress "It's here!" Yuzu thinks to herself in satisfaction. "Ladies and Gentlemen!" Yuzu cheers. "My dear fans, sorry to keep you waiting!" She apologizes. "I now present to you what only Yuzu Hiragi can do, Yuzi Hiragi's Entertainment Dueling!" Yuzu declares. Himika isn't fazed, but Yuzu's friends are all excited. "I've been waiting for this!" Ayu said. "I, using the Scale 1 Arial the Melodious Sorceress and the Scale 9 Dulcet the Melodious Sorceress set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuzu declares. The familiar writing appears on her Duel Disk, and the twin sorceress appears in the blue columns of light. "With this I'm able summon multiple monsters from Level 2 to 8!" Yuzu explains. "Swing, Pendulum of the Soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters!" She chants as the large pendulum swings. Two monsters emerge from the Pendulum portal "Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra! (ATK: 2600) And now, our new companion…Allegra the Melodious Diva!" Yuzu declares (ATK: 800). "There it is, the Pendulum Summon!" Tatsuya cheers. "She brought out a new monster too!" Ayu adds. "Shiver!" Futoshi exclaims. "It's time for a counterattack, Yuzu!" Yuya tells her. "Do it!" Gongenzaka tells Yuzu. "I'm counting on you, Yuzu!" Shuzo encourage her.

Spotlights snaps on Yuzu "Now, everyone, your attention please!" He asks everyone. "It's time for fire acrobatics featuring our superstar, Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra!" Yuzu declares. She dives from the platform, dons her visors, and lands on Mozarta's back "Let's go, Mozarta!" Yuzu tells her monster. "Battle Phase! Attack Flame King Genghis!" She declares. "With the wonderful voice of yours lay waste to all that lies before you!" Yuzu chants. Mozarta flew into the air "Graceful Impact Wave!" She declares, blasting a red and cream light wave at Genghis. The Fiend blocks the blast with its shield "At this moment, Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra's monster effect activates! When battling a Level 5 or higher monster, battle damage is doubled!" Yuzu explains. The orbs on the wings of Mozarta glows "Reaction Echo!" Yuzu declares and Mozarta adds a surge of orange light to its waves, destroying Genghis (Reiji's LP: 2800). "She did it! 600 damage times two is 1200 points if damage!" Tatsuya cheers, explaining to his friends. "She's turned the tides!" Ayu yells. "Furthermore, I activate Allegra's monster effect!" Yuzu declares. "When this card is in Attack Position, a Pendulum Monster that has destroyed another monster by battle this turn gains 100 ATK for the rest of the Battle Phase, and can make a second attack!" she explains. Allegro sings and lets loose an aura of flame that becomes a ring of fire. Go! Fly right through that ring of fire, Mozarta!" Yuzu orders Mozarta, and the Artiste flows through the ring (Mozarta's ATK: 2700). "Mozarta made it through!" Tatsuya cheers. "To think she could use that move to give it a power up..!" Yuya impressed. "She's truly a wild-angel tamer...no! A artiste tamer!" Gongenzaka comments. "That's real entertainment! It's burning and hot-bloodied, Yuzu!" Shuzo calls it. "My second attack target is Gust King Alexander! Elegant Graceful Wave!" Yuzu declares and Mozarta launchings another Elegant Graceful Wave. Alexander leaps into the air and blocks the blast with its sword "Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra's monster effect activates! Reaction Echo!" Yuzu declares. The second surge of light destroys Alexander, Reiji grunts (Reiji's LP: 2400). "I can't stop these shivers!" Futoshi exclaims. Yuzu and Mozarta pass by an Action Card and Yuzu bends down to snag it "Alright! I'm on it today!" She comments. "Action Spell: Wonder Chance, activates!" Yuzu declares. "I can give one monster an additional attack!" She states. "Get him, Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra! Attack Wave King Caesar!" Yuzu decalres. Before leaping up to meet the attack, Caesar absorbs one of its Overlay Units into its chest, and Reiji narrows his eyes. Caesar raises its sword, but it is destroyed in a single blast (Reiji's LP: 2100). "She did it, she took out all of them!" Ayu cheers. "On top of that, she knocked of 1900 of her opponent's life in just this turn!" Tatsuya adds. "I can't hold all these shivers!" Futoshi exclaims. "Now she can win! Even if the opponent can use all three summoning methods, as long as Yuzu has Pendulum Summoning, she can protect YSDS!" Yuya states. "You're on fire, Yuzu! You really are the ace of our YSDS!" Shuzo tells her. Dismounting Mozarta "My dear audience, thank you for your cheers!" Yuzu thanks her audience. "Allegra cannot attack this turn due to its own that, Mozarta's attacks come to a close for this turn. At this moment, Allegro's effect ends and Mozarta's ATK return to normal" She explains (Mozarta's ATK: 2600). She bow deeply, and then she walks over to Mozarta "You did great, Mozarta!" Yuzu congratulating it. She looks over at the cloud of smoke clearing before Reiji and gasps in horror.

Caesar, Alexander, and Genghis are all standing on Reiji's field. "No way…" Yuya shocked. "She just destroyed all of them…"Tatsuya protest. "Why…?" Gogenzaka shock. "Why are they…" Yuzu asks."I activated Wave King Caesar's monster effect" Reiji explains. "What?!" Yuzu exclaims. "By using one Overlay Unit, Wave King Caesar can Special Summon any number of monsters destroyed by battle this turn at the end of the Battle Phase" Reiji explains. "Huh? Then that means it can..." Yuzu shocked. "Revive all of the monsters from the Graveyard?" Gongenzaka shocked. "But, of course, there is a risk for such a powerful ability. On my next turn, if I control monsters that were Special Summoned by this effect, I will take 1000 damage for each" Reiji admits. "He revived three monsters…" Tatsuya muses. "His remaining life is 1800, so that means with 3000 damage, he kills him-" Futoshi muses. "I already told you before, that won't happen!" Sora interrupts, pointing out. "There's no way he would lose that easily" He comments. "Trap Card: Activate! D/D/D Human Resources!" Reiji declares. "This card returns three "D/D/D" monsters on my Field to my Deck; and adds two "D/D" monsters from my Deck to my hand" He explains. All three D/D/D monsters vanish as two cards are ejected from Reiji's Deck. D/D Savant Kepler and D/D Savant Galilei - monsters with widened art frames. "Look at that! Now that the monsters are gone, he won't take any of that damage next turn! See, I told you so!" Sora points out. "All he did was take his monsters…" Futoshi points out. "He said it was a powerful ability, but what's so great about it?" Ayu asks. "He managed to get two more cards in his hand though…" Tatsuya worried. "Those two cards…." Sora worried. "Keep it up, Yuzu! Just make it through with a smile on your face using your Entertainment Duelling!" Yuya tells her. "I set one card and end my turn" Yuzu states. "You really are amazing!" Yuzu congratulates Reiji. "Everything you do surpasses my imagination! I'm looking forward to whatever surprises you have in store for me!" She said. "Just kidding!" Yuzu claims as she scratches her nose. "Likewise, you have done well. You have allowed me to see for myself the nature of Pendulum Summoning…now it's your turn" Reiji replies. "Huh?" Yuzu confused. "I'll have you confirm whether or not Pendulum Summoning is unique to you with your own eyes!" Reiji states.

"My turn, Draw!" Reiji declares. "I, using the Scale 1 D/D Savant Galilei and the Scale 10 D/D Savant Kelper," He states. "What!?" Yuzu surprised as well as everyone else. "set the Pendulum Scale!" Reiji states. The Words appears on Reiji's Duel Disk, and two robotic pillars rise from the ground in blue columns of light "With this I can now simultaneously summon multiple monsters from Level 2 to 9!" Reiji explains. "Those are Pendulum Monsters!" Gongenzaka yells. "No way…" Yuya gasps. "It's can't be…!" Sora gasps. "Grant power which shakes my soul! "Arise within me and give birth to a new light that rends the darkness! Pendulum Summon! Come before me, my monsters!" Reiji chants as the Pendulum Monsters work. Unlike Yuzu's Summon, no pendulum swings between the monsters, and only a purple mass of light surges from the portal as everyone gasps. "The three transcendent deities who rules over all kings!" Reiji chants. "D/D/D Doom King Armageddon!" He yells out as a crystalline monster descends (ATK: 3000). And it's not just that one, another, and another "Armageddon" descends, for a total of three (ATK: 3000x2). "Three monsters with 3000 ATK!" Sora observes.

"Why…How come he can Pendulum Summon!?" Yuzu asks. "Go! Battle Phase! Doom King Armageddon, attack Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra!" Reiji declares. As Armageddon charges an energy attack in its core "Yuzu!" Yuya yells as he pounds the glass, snapping her out of her daze. Yuzu finds an Action Card "Action Spell: Miracle!" She declares. Armageddon" blasts eight strands of black and purple lightning from its body, impacting Mozarta. "It negates a monster's destruction and halves that battle damage taken!" Yuzu explains (Yuzu's LP: 3100). "Miracle only happens once" Reiji comments. "Continue! Doom King Armageddon!" He orders the second Armageddon, destroying Mozartra (Yuzu's LP: 2700). "Mozarta was…" Futoshi gasps. "But even if they're destroyed, Pendulum Monsters don't go to the Graveyard…" Tatsuya points out as Yuzu's Duel Disk show Mozatra going into Yuzu's Extra Deck. "I see, they are sent to the Extra Deck? Then, that one as well…" Reiji notes. "Obliterate! Doom King Armageddon, attack Allegra!" He orders. "Where's an Action Card…?!" Yuzu frantically running around, searching for an Action Card, but she's unable to find one in time as the attack from the final Armageddon strikes (Yuzu's LP: 500). "He did 2800 damage in an instant!" Tatsuya gasp. "Yuzu…" Yuya murmur. "Just who the heck is he!?" Yuzu wonders. "Where did you get Pendulum Summoning!" She asks. "I set one card and end my turn" Reiji answers. Himika claps "That was splendid Reiji" She calls him. "If you have mastered Pendulum to this extent, then this measly YSDS…" Himkia said. "If we don't need them, we might as well crush them. Fusion, Synchro and Xyz all belong to LDS" She thinks. "To think he would use Pendulum Summoning…" Shuzo shocked. "Just how much power does Reiji Akaba possess?" He wonders. Shuzo then notices Yuzu on his screen "Who…Just who the heck is this guy!?" Yuzu shelled-shocked. "Yuzu! The match isn't over yet! Keep burning and burning and burning! Be hot-bloodied!" Shuzo reminds her. "That's right! I'm still Duelling!" Yuzu agrees. "Calm down…calm down! Instead of worrying about him, you have to win this Duel!" She urges herself. She looks up at the three Armageddons "Those are his Pendulum Monsters…Pendulum was something only given to me-" Yuzu mused. She then shakes her head "Stop it! Don't think about it! If I don't win this duel, the Duel School will…" Yuzu tells herself.

"My turn!" Yuzu declares. "My hand is at zero, this draw will decide everything!" Yuzu muse. "Draw!" She yells out and draws her Carol the Melodious Diva. "It's here!" Yuzu gasps. "Let's do it again! Dulcet, Arial!" She declares. "Sway, Pendulum of the Soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters!" Yuzu chants. "Return to us once more! Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra! (ATK: 2600) Allegra the Melodious Diva! (ATK: 800) and… Carol the Melodious Diva!" Yuzu declares (ATK: 500). "This time she brought out three monsters at once!" Futoshi cheers. "Yuzu's still ready to fight!" Gongenzaka adds. "You can do it, Yuzu!" Yuya shouts. "I activate Carol's effect, targeting Mozarta!" Yuzu declares. "When this card is Special Summoned: I can increase the targeted monster's ATK by 300 for each Melodious I control!" She explains. Carol spreads its body out to attach to one of the wings of Mozarta and grabs the ring of Allegra with the ribbon on her wrist, causing Mozarta to glow with yellow light and power ups "I have two Melodious on my field, so with that 300 times two, her ATK increases by 600!" Yuzu states (Mozarta's ATK: 3200). "Now everything is set! First, I'll destroy one of those three with my powered-up Mozarta! With Mozarta's effect, battle with a Level 5 or higher monster deals double the battle damage. Next, with Allegra's effect, I'll be able to make another attack with a further boosted Mozarta and destroyed a second one! After destroying two of them, I can activate the Trap Card I have set, One Two Jump. Using it's effect, Mozarta can make a third attack! And on top of that, cuts the opponent's ATK in half! At that time his life will be at 1100. If I attack him with Mozarta and destroy it…I can win!" Yuzu thinks.

Yuzu leaps on Mozarta "Go! Battle Phase!" She declares. "Mozarta, attack Doom King Armageddon! Elegant Graceful Wave!" She orders. "When Mozarta battles a Level 5 or higher monster battle damage is doubled! Reaction Echo!" Yuzu reminds Reiji, the extra light destroying Armageddon (Reiji's LP: 1700). "When destroyed, Pendulum Monsters are sent to the Extra Deck" Reiji reminds Yuzu, holding up his card. "All right, next! With Allegra's effect I-" Yuzu begins to activated, "Doom King Armageddon effect activates!" Reiji interrupts. "What!?" Yuzu shocked. "When a monster I control leaves the field, Doom King Armageddon gains that monster's ATK until the end of the turn!" Reiji explains. "Doom King Armageddon's ATK is 3000. Therefore, the remaining two Doom King Armageddons gains 3000 ATK" He reminds them as a dark power flows into the two monsters (Doom King Armageddon's ATK: 6000x2). "An ATK of 6000…!?" Yuzu shocked. "Woah…" Ayu gasps. "How do you even beat a 6000 monster?" Tatsuya asks. "And there are two of them! This is going to be rough, Yuzu!" Sora comments, but he alone seems excited. "With this, YSDS is…" Gongenzaka said. "No…" Yuya shock. "I…end my turn" Yuzu reluctantly said, and the ATK of the Armageddons decrease (Doom King Armageddon's ATK: 3000x2).

"My turn, Draw!" Reiji said. And then both "Galilei" and "Kelper" begin shaking violently, covered in lightning. Their Pendulum Effect appear on the cards, and their Scales shrink to 2 and 5. This is reflected by the glowing numbers changing in the blue light columns, with the Scale of Galilei doubling to 2, and the Scale of Kepler halving to 5. Lightning strands extend from the two Pendulum Monsters "What?!" Reiji shocked, and the two Armageddons were destroyed. "The monsters are-!" Ayu shock. "gone!" Futoshi shock. "It might have something to do with the Pendulum Scale shrinking just now!" Sora observes. "Then this is a chance!" Gongenzaka yell. "The next time he Pendulum Summons, he'll only be able to summon Level 3 and 4 monsters!" Yuya points out. "Just three and four…" Yuzu whispers. "My Carol's monster effect prevents monsters under Level Five from attacking. If it's just Level Three and Four, no matter what monster he sent out…" Yuzu reminds herself. "In the end they were just prototypes…they were still unstable" Reiji muses. "But in this situation…" He thinks as he looks at his Set card… and then he realizes something. He begins to laugh madly, his face twisting beneath his hand. "Why didn't I notice until now?!" Reiji asks himself. "Pendulum Summoning is not complete yet!" He exclaims. "What?!" Yuzu gasps in shock. "I have seen the possibilities of further evolution in Pendulum Summoning! And I'll have you bear witness to it this moment!" Reiji explains. "What!? What is he talking about!?" Yuzu wonders.

"What did you say!?" Himika gasps, catching the attention of both Reiji and Yuzu. But she's not talking to them, Nakajima was whispering in her ear. "Professor Maco was-!?" Masumi, who was closest, gasps, causing both Yaiba and Hokuto to react as well. "Reiji!" Himika call out to him , who pops up a screen on his Duel Disk to communicate with Nakajima "What happened, Nakajima?" Reiji inquired. Nakajima informs him of the situation, causing Reiji to narrow his eyes. Reiji promptly leaps from ball to ball and starts walking out of the arena. "Wha-W-wait!" Yuzu asks Reiji. "I'll give you the win" Reiji explains. "H-hold on! What's your name?" Yuzu asks. "Reiji Akaba" Reiji tells her. "Reiji…Akaba…" Yuzu murmur as Reiji leaves.

Pendulum Effect: When a Pendulum Monster you control is destroyed by battle: You can Special Summon this card from your Pendulum Zone.
