Hi everyone Rosestar48 here! Today will start the first of the four Duels, starting with Yuzu vs. Michio Mokota.

Genius Master Chef "Michio Mokota"

"In order to qualify for her first step into the pro stage, the Junior Youth Championship, Yuzu has to win four matches in a row!" Tatsuya narrates. "It's tough enough to give me shivers" Futoshi states. "But apparently, Strong Ishijima's former manager, Nico Smiley, is the one finding Yuzu's opponents…" Tatsuya narrates.

At night, Yuzu was editing her Deck "All right, this is perfect!" She satisfied with her results. "Starting tomorrow, I'll win my next four matches with this deck for sure! I'll take my first step towards becoming a pro!" Yuzu eager. Yuzu then remembers Reiji's words

"I have seen the possibilities of further evolution in Pendulum Summoning!" Reiji declares.

Yuzu picked up one of her cards "I can't lose to him either!" She promises.

"The next day, Yuzu washes her face in the bathroom. As she leaves, "Right! Now I'm ready for my first Duel!" Yuzu states. Yuzu enters the kitchen "Ah, Yuzu! Good morning!" Sora greets her. "Morning!" Yuzu said. "Man, you've really made yourself at home, haven't you?" She ask Sora. "Well, it's fine since we're friends, right?" Sora replies. "Good luck with your upcoming four matches!" He wishes her. "I'm working hard to enter the same tournament as you!" Sora adds. "So you're going to be doing your qualification Duels today, too?" Yuzu asks. "Yeah! I only need to win six matches in a row, so it'll be a cinch!" Sora says. "You really…" Yuzu mutter. "Dad, is breakfast ready?" She asks. "Just wait a bit more. I'm working on making mille-feuille tonkatsu with special salad right now" Shuzo replies. "Huh? But I rather make your usual pancakes instead of something that takes so much work!" Yuzu requested. "But I've already got Mitche's popular recipe open right now!" Shuzo said. "Just make whatever, and make it quick!" Yuzu tells him. "I already told you to wait, didn't I?" Shuzo scold her as Sora drinks his milk. "But if I don't hurry, I'll be late to my duel!" Yuzu explains. "Ah! Look, you made me mess up!" Shuzo complains.

Later, Yuzu walks through Miami City on an empty stomach. "Now I didn't get ant breakfast at all because I had to rush out…" She complains. Yuzu picks up on a delicious scent "What's this smell…" She wonders. It smells delicious!" Yuzu exclaim and starts to follow it. She arrives at the source "This is the place!" Yuzu exclaims. "Kirigakure Cooking School?" She reads the sigh. "I think I was told to come here the other day…" Yuzu remembers. "I've been waiting for you, Yuzu!" say as he comes close to Yuzu. "Now, come on inside!" He invites her. "Huh? But isn't this a cooking class?" Yuzu asks. "It's fine, just go! Nico ignores the question and pushes her inside the school. Food is cooking "So many wonderful smells!" Yuzu allured by the various scents. "Mitche love…?" Yuzu reading a banner. "What the heck is that?" She wonders. "Let me introduce today's opponent…Nicknamed Mitchie, it's Michio Mokota!" Nico introduces Yuzu's opponent as he rise from smoke Yuzu was dumbfounded. "You're Yuzu Hiragi, right?" Michio asks. "Y-Yeah…" Yuzu confirms. Michio walks towards Yuzu. "Michio is a young chef whose self-made recipes are very popular among housewives everywhere!" Nico says. Yuzu's stomach growls, which annoys Nico, though Michio doesn't seem to mind "You seem to be pretty hungry yourself" He comments. "Sorry about that, I missed breakfast today" Yuzu apologizes. "On top of that, all the foods everyone is cooking here smells go good!" She compliments. "Then I'll fill that hungry stomach of your using my prefect recipe and my Cooking Duel!" Michio says.

"Principal Kirigaukre!" A voice yells, Yuzu turns to find a woman arguing with the school principal, a man wearing a golden toque. "What is the meaning of this!? Michio was already qualified for the Junior Youth Championship! Why are you still having him play an official matches!?" The woman complains. "Ma'am, it's just like I explained to your earlier-" Kirigakure tries to explain. "Don't worry about it, Mom!" Michio tells her. "Yuzu Hiragi is the one who beat that Strong Ishijima remember?" He reminds her. Yuzu got a bit embarrasses "It seems like a fun, so I'll makes a light meal of her" Michio says, Yuzu got annoyed. "Yes, you're right. She shouldn't give you any trouble at all!"Maiko agrees. "Show her the strength of someone who doesn't even lose to the top players from LDS!" She urges Michio. "Leave it to me, Mom" Michio promises. "I'll be cheering for you, do your best!" Maiko promises. Yuzu watches the pair leave "Yuzu!" a voice calls out. Yuzu turned to see Tatsuya, Fudoshi and Ayu. "You guys were here?" Yuzu asks. "Of course!" Ayu confirms. "This is your first step to becoming a pro after all!" Tatsuya says. "You better win it with style and give me shivers!" Futoshi tells Yuzu. Yuzu smiles.

"Everyone, it's what you've all been waiting for! It's time for the duel between the Pendulum Summoning pioneer, Yuzu Hiragi and…the Cooking Duel Prince, Michio Mokota!" Nico announces. "I'm crazy for your recipes!" One of the housewives exclaims, Michio waves to the crowd of cheering housewives. Maiko was recording the Duel before turning the camera to face her. "Honey, are you actually watching!" She asks her husband, Aiichiro Mokota. "Michio has a big match today, but you didn't come to the stadium because you're busy with prep work…" Maiko explains. "Now then, Principal Kirigukure, if you would!" Nico asks. "Cooking is an insatiable journey for new possibilities! And Duels are one and the same!" Kirigukure gave his speech. "Let's have these aspiring youths do their Cooking Duel on the most fitting Field! Action Field On! Field Spell: Chaos Kitchen, Activates!" He declares. The arena is replaced by a kitchen several times the size of an ordinary one. "Wha…it's a kitchen?" Yuzu asks. "That's right!" Michio agreeing to it. "So I can cook you properly" He says. "No matter what field it may be, I just have to make it thought with my Entertainment Dueling!" Yuzu replies and activates her Duel Disk. "Duelist locked in battle!" Yuzu chants. "Kicking against the earth and dancing in the air, alongside their monsters! They storm through this Field!" Michio chants. "Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of Dueling!" Yuzu chants. "Action!" The spectators declares. "DUEL!" Yuzu and Michio yells out.

"Freshness is everything in cooking and in Dueling! I'll be taking the first turn!" Michio says. "Now I'll let you get a good taste of how amazing my Cooking Duel is!" He invites Yuzu. "I Summon Cookpal Cluckwheat from my hand!" Michio declares (ATK: 100). "Let's go, Cluckwheat!" He tells his monster as he mounts Cluckwheat and it waddles across the kitchen floor before making a tremendous leap towards a rice cooker. Michio jumps off of Cluckwheat and opens the cooker by landing on the button. It opens and an Action Card flies out "I'll take that Action Card!" Michio states. "Wha!? He already got an Action Card?" Yuzu surprised. "Good, I got myself a nice one" Michio satisfied. "I'm going to use this while it's still fresh!" He decides. "I activate the Action Spell: Monster Microwave!" Michio declares. "This card allows me to return one monster on the field to my hand, and Special Summon a Level 4 or lower monster from my hand!" He explains. "I return Cluckwheat to my hand! And I Special Summon the Level 1 Cookpal Eggong!" Michio declares (ATK: 0). "At this moment Cluckwheat's effect activates" He states. "This card can be Special Summoned the same turn it's returned to your hand from your field!" Michio explains (ATK: 100). "And when there are two or more Cookpal cards on my field, I can Special Summon Cookpal Pumapotato from my hand!" He declares (ATK: 600). "And also!" Michio said as he use Eggong to fly to a blender, where he dismounts and activates it. A gust of wind blows out another Action Card, "That's-!" Yuzu gasps and Michio takes it. "I'll be taking another Action Card!" Michio states. "He got three monsters out in an instant!" Tatsuya impressed. "On top of that he's gotton two Action Cards!" Futoshi marvels. "He looked like a total pushover, but he's pretty good!" Ayu remarks. "I set two cards and end my turn!" Michio said. "Michio seems to be in top form!" Nico says. "Well, he knows this Field like the back of his hand. First, he collects his ingredients…" Kirigukure replies. "That's right! He's only just getting started!" Maiko agrees.

At another Dueling School, "My turn!" A sumo Duelist begins his turn. Most of the Duel is skipped, "This'll finish you!" Sora declares as he attacks with his Frightfur Bear. "I have failed!" The sumo Duelist cries. Yuya appears to have stared into space during the Duel "All right, we're going to the next one!" Sora tells Yuya, grabbing his attention. "Huh? Ah! Yeah, right!" Yuya snaps out of his daydreaming, though Sora is irritated.

Back at Kirigakure Cooking School, "My turn!" Yuzu declares and draws. After drawing, Yuzu's stomach growls, which flusters the children. This infuriates Ayu to the point "Come on, Yuzu!" She yells at her. Yuzu blushes, "You're quite something, but I guess I can't blame you since you missed out on breakfast. I don't want you using that as an excuse for losing, though!" Michio comments. "And why is it decided that I'm going to lose?" Yuzu, annoyed, ask. "Because my recipe is perfect, that's why! So there's no way that you could defeat the Cooking Duel I'm going to create from it!" Michio replies. "You don't know that for sure!" Yuzu yells. "I summon Viola the Melodious Diva from my hand!" She declares (ATK: 1700). "Viola! Let's show them how it's done!" Yuzu encourages it as she uses it as a rope to latch on to a faucet and hoist herself up. Yuzu slips on the faucet's top, "Look out!" Tatsuya yells, but Yuzu quickly grasps it with her legs before she can fall. Dangling upside-down, Yuzu spots an Action Card stuck to the faucet "Would you look at that!" She states. "She's quite impressive herself" Kirigukure calls Yuzu. "Well, she is the student of the Action Duel pioneer, Yusho Sakaki, after all" Nico replies. "I can see why you expect great things from her" Kirigukure says. "Battle Phase!" Yuzu declares. "I attack Eggong with Viola!" She orders as he swings Viola like a lasso. "Action Spell: Freeze Freezer, activate!" Michio calmly declares. "That's the Action Card her got earlier?" Yuzu recognizes the card Michio picked up earlier. "Freeze Freezer negates all of the opponent's attacks this turn!" Michio explains; a chilling blizzard blows from the freezer, freezing Viola solid. "Now those are some real shivers…"Futoshi trembles. "If that's how you want to play it…Action Spell: Battle Burner, active!" Yuzu counters. "One monster whose attack was negated can attack again! And this additional attack cannot be negated!" She explains. The manifested blowtorch releases a stream of fire that thaws out Viola. "Viola, attack it again!" Yuzu orders Viola to attack Eggong again, with Yuzu's monster destroying it with a single blast (Michio's LP: 2300). "She did it!" Ayu cheers. "Also, when my monster destroys an opponent's monster with Battle Burner's effect, all other monsters in attack position on the opponent's Field are destroyed!" Yuzu reveals. Battle Burner explodes, with two flames heading for Cluckwheat and Puma Potato. Both monsters panic and try to flee before they're incinerated by the fireballs. "All of his monsters got wiped out!" Tatsuya exclaim. "Shivers!" Futoshi said. "That ends my turn!" Yuzu declares. "See, the outcome of a Duel is something we won't know until we try!" She tells Michio. Michio laughs in an uncharacteristic manner "No, actually I already know…This is all going according to my recipe!" He said. "I activate the Continuous Trap: Food Cemetery!" Michio declares. "In the turn that this card is activated, all Cookpals that were sent to the Graveyard are sent to the Food Cemetery!" He explains as a stove emerges from a dark aura. The cards emerge from the Graveyard portal as Food Cemetery opens its door and takes them "The destroyed monsters went inside!" Ayu notes. "And now, I can add the same number of harvested Cookpal cards from my Deck to my hand!" Michio reveals; he adds three monsters as three cards are in Food Cemetery. "The more monsters are sent to the Graveyard this turn, the stronger Food Cemetery becomes!" Michio says. Yuzu gets annoyed. "Before I had to do anything, you did all of the hard work for me by destroying my monsters!" Michio continues. Yuzu look up at the Food Cemetery. "Brand-new Cookpals are now on the menu!" Michio declares. "That's it, Michio!" Maiko praises him. "So that means he's added three monsters to his hand?" Yuzu remembers. Michio smirks "With this, all of the prep-work is ready" He says.

At his restaurant, Aiichiro was watching the Duel from his tablet while doing his prep work "With this, all of the prep-work is ready" Michio says. Aiichiro briefly glances at his tablet before continuing his work. At Kirigakure Cooking School "My turn. Draw!" Michio declares. "Now, I've saved the best for last for that starving belly of yours" He said. "Michie's best dish is coming!" A housewife states. "I activate Regal Recipes from my hand!" Michio said. "This card lets me Special Summon a number of "Royal Cookpal" as the number of cards in my Food Cemetery!" He explains. "There are three cards in his Food Cemetery right now" Yuzu remembers. "I've got your order!" Micho declares, and Food Cemetery opens and the three monsters under it fly out. "I Special Summon Knight Pasta! Princess Pudding! And Prince Curry!" Michio declares as the three monsters transformed (ATK: 300x3). "To think that he could Special Summon high-Level monsters for each card in the Food Cemetery…" Tatsuya impressed. "This guy is exquis-" Futoshi starts to state, but glares from his two friends "Sorry…I mean expect!" He corrects himself.

"Cookpals that are destroyed in the turn I activate Food Cemetery are all seated by Food Cemetery. And now, thanks to Regal Recipes, I could Special Summon one Royal Cookpal for each seated" Michio reiterates. "A comb that punishes me for destroying monsters by replacing them with stronger monsters, huh?" Yuzu understands. "Exactly! This is my perfect recipe!" Michio praise Yuzu as he slides down the noodles of "Knight Pasta" into a teacup. He climbs out with an Action Card in his hand "I'll be taking this Action Card! Michio states. "He got another one!?" Yuzu frustrated. Yuzu runs to look for another one "Before our food gets cold, I'll activate the other effect of Regal Recipes!" Michio declares. "For each monster Special Summoned by this card's effect, I can deal 300 points of damage to my opponent!" He explains. The Royal Cookpals release bolts of lightning "He summoned three Royal Cookpals with that card!" Tatsuya recalls. "So, 300 times 3 is…" Futoshi does the math. "900 points of damage!" Ayu finishes. "I'll have you pay for your restaurant bill in Life Points!" Michio said. Yuzu lands on a saucer, but she gets zapped (Yuzu's LP: 3100). "You've got a lot of food on the table, but they only have 300 ATK each! You can't beat my Voila that way!" Yuzu says. "Hmph, at this rate, that's true…But, Royal Cookpal are my perfect recipe, and they'll just keep getting stronger!" Michio admits. Yuzu was confused "I activate Princess Pudding's effect!" Michio declares. "Once per turn, she can double the original ATK of another "Royal Cookpal" I control!" He explains as he chose Prince Curry (Prince Curry's ATK: 600). "It's Michie's set menu!" A housewife calls this combination. "That's right! If you have dessert with your meal, your happiness doubles!" Ayu agrees. "However, Princess Pudding can't attack in the turn she activates her effect" Michio reveals. "And now, I activate Knight Pasta's effect!" He declares. "Once per turn, he, too, can double the original ATK of another "Royal Cookpal" I control!" Michio explains (Prince Curry's ATK: 1200). "Ooh! A curry and neapolitan set! I can accept double with this kind of portion size!" Futoshi excited. "However, Knight Pasta can't attack in the turn he activates his effect" Michio reveals. The sight is enough to leave Futoshi and Ayu drooling "You guys! What are you doing drooling when the enemy is getting stronger?" Tatsuya quickly rebukes them. "Even though Yuzu is duelling with all she's got…" He starts to explain, not before falling flat on his face after hearing Yuzu's stomach growl again "Yuzu!" Tatsuya annoyed. Yuzu laughs nervously "It seems you've taken a liking to my special menu" Michio points out.

"Yep! I'm certainly drooling. But no matter how delicious it seems, Prince Curry still has lower ATK than Viola!" Yuzu admits. "Yes…for now…" Michio admits. Yuzu was wondering what he was talking about. "But what happens when we add one more flavour?" Michio wonders. "I activate the Action Spell: Spicy Spice!" He declares. "I can increase the ATK of one monster by 1000 points for the remainder of this turn!" Michio explains. A spice shaker scatters spice on to Prince Curry "Prince Curry! Become even more delicious!" Michio encourages it (Prince Curry's ATK: 2200). "Battle Phase!" He declares. "Prince Curry! Attack Viola! Excellent Express Curry Plate!" Michio orders. Prince Curry boards an express train before releasing its contents at Viola, which causes it to cry out in pain before it's destroyed (Yuzu's LP: 2600). "My, oh my, was that too spicy for you?" Michio asks Yuzu. "I end my turn here. At this moment, Spicy Spice, Princess Pudding and Knight Pasta's effects wears off and Prince Curry's ATK returns to normal" He states (Prince Curry's ATK: 300). "Heh, are you having your fill of my Cooking Duel?" Michio asks.

"My…TURN!" Yuzu declares and draws Dulcet the Melodious Sorceress. "Yes! Time for me to take the offensives!" She states. "As thanks for earlier, I'll let you have a good taste of my Pendulum Summon!" Yuzu declares. "I, using the Scale 1 Arial the Melodious Sorceress and the Scale 9 Dulcet the Melodious Sorceress, set the Pendulum Scale!" She said. "IT'S HERE!" Futoshi and Ayu cheers. "Here comes the counter-attack!" Tatsuya excited. "Swing, Pendulum of the Soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters!" Yuzu chants. "It's up to you, Partita the Melodious Diva! (ATK: 300) Carol the Melodious Diva! (ATK: 500) And finally, "Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra!" She declares (ATK: 2600). "Hmph! I welcome the whole team! Since you all came out of that famous Pendulum Summon, I'd best entertain my guests" Michio unfazed. "Entertain…?" Yuzu repeats. "Yes. The greatest, of course" Michio reply. "When a monster is Summoned or Special Summon to my opponent's side of the Field: Princess Pudding, Knight Pasta, and Prince Curry activate their additional effect! Full House of Full Stomachs!" He declares as the three Royal Cookpals fly towards Yuzu's monsters, with Princess Pudding feeding Carol its own pudding, Prince Curry feeding Partita curry and rice, and Knight Pasta feeding Mozarta its own noodles. "Ah! It's not fair that only you guys get to eat! I'm starving too" Yuzu complains. Eventually, the Royal Cookpals overfeed Yuzu's monsters to the point their bellies get round "More! Eat more! Eat all of my Cooking Monsters!" Michio encourages them. The three children were horrified at what they seen "What…is that?" Tatsuya gasps. "They're forcing it down! That's horrible!" Ayu comments. "The good atmosphere in here is ruined…" Futoshi complains. Yuzu looks at her monsters, whose bellies are stuffed with the food they just ate. Mozarta and Carol are rolling around helplessly, while Partita bounces across the field. "It looks like you're satisfied that you have no regrets to leave in this world…" Michio says. "By returning Princess Pudding, Knight Pasta, and Prince Curry to my hand, I can destroy one monster for each card returned by this effect!" He declares. "No way…My monsters…all…" Yuzu says. Michio smirks, while Yuzu gets frustrated and stares him down.
