Hi everyone, Rosestar48 here! Today will have Kurosaki duel against Masumi, Hokuto and Yaiba.
The Wings of Rebellion - Raid Raptors
At LDS, "Hokuto Shijima is on route to Sector TF13" an employee reports. "Masumi Koutsu has entered sector ZX97" Another states. "Yaiba Toudou's location is unknown. It seems he is currently outside of the mission's specific area" A third states. "Get him back immediately!" Nakajima orders them. "Leave it to us!" they said! This is why I was against using students from the Duel School…" Nakajima mutters. "Continue monitoring them" Reiji orders his staff as he arrives in the control room. "President!" Nakajima exclaims. "They will show themselves" Reiji muses.
In the street, "Let's have a huge party today to celebrate my qualification for the Junior Youth Championship!" Sora suggests. "Not yet!" Yuzu states. "Huh?!" Sora gasps. "I've still got one left, so celebrating is on hold until I finish that!" Yuzu reminds Sora. "What!? But then if you don't qualify, we don't get a party?!" Sora horrified. "Why you!" Yuzu jokingly grabs him in a headlock. "I really want to eat some cake!" Sora comments. "Once I qualify, I'll let you eat cake until you're sick of it!" Yuzu reassures him as Ayu, Futoshi and Tatsyua laughs. Meanwhile, Yuya was standing off the side, looking at his Polymerization Card, and remembers what Ruri told him.

"This card doesn't suit you" Ruri tells Yuya as she hold up the Polymerization Card.

Then Yuya see Masumi running down an alley, and decides to follow her. "Where are you going, Yuya?" Tatsuya asks. "I remembered something I have to do!" Yuya reassures them. "Something to do?" Yuzu wonders. "Is he getting the cake?!" Sora, still in a headlock, asks. "Sorry, go back without me!" Yuya tells them.
Masumi walks nervously down an empty street, where rows of crows are perched on the rooftops. She stops short as she sees Kurosaki standing the middle of the street. "Are you alone?" Kurosaki ask Masumi, but she doesn't responds. "Where are the brat and the boy from last time?" Kurosaki ask. "I don't know" Masumi replies as Yuya ran down the alley. "I always thought that it was the black-masked woman…the one who had attack Professor Marco!" She admits. "What did you do with Professor Marco!?" Masumi angrily asks Kurosaki. "Marco?" Kurosaki honestly confused. "It's the name of the LDS teacher who taught me Fusion Summoning!" Masumi explains. "Oh, him? He wasn't that good. His lack of combat experience showed his weak and flimsy-" Kurosaki dismissively comments. "SHUT UP! Professor Marco is my teacher! I won't forgive you belittling him!" Masumi yells. "It wasn't just Marco! Everyone from LDS was flimsy and pathetic. In not one of their Duels did I sense an iron determination or steeled strength!" Kurosaki retorts. "Then does them mean everyone from the other cases-?!" Masumi ask as LDS watches. "I did it" Kurosaki confirms. "If you say you won't forgive me, then…Sate your grudge by defeating me!" He tells her, and activates his Duel Disk. "President. The team is at your command" Nakajima informs Reiji. "Target located, Hokuto, Yaiba, get here fast!" Masumi, quickly contacts Hokuto and Yaiba, tells them. "Roger!" Hokuto responds affirmatively. "Sorry, finish up the rest on your own!" Yaiba apologize to Gongenzaka for breaking of their practice match.
Meanwhile, Yuya wanders through an alleyway, but then Ruri steps out "I cannot let you go further" She tells Yuya.
"So you called your friends?" Kurosaki realizes. "But you underestimate me if you think two more will suffice" He warns Masumi. "Don't you worry! You're already well-known at LDS. Since I know what you look like, I was set as bait, walking around town waiting for you to show. Simply put, you fell for our trap!" Masumi reassures Kurosaki. "What she said!" Hokuto agrees as he arrives. "Don't you worry, Masumi, we're definitely going to avenge Professor Marco!" He reassures her. "Let's finish this up before the top team shows up!" Yaiba suggested as he screeches to a halt. "If we manage to catch the criminal ourselves, our opportunities will widen!" He states. "Yaiba…Hokuto…" Masumi touched by the support. "How about we go with battle royal rules? None of us can draw or enter battle on our first turn" Yaiba suggested to Kurosaki. "Fine. I'll finish you and friends all off at once" Kurosaki replies. In the alleyway, "I don't want my brother to be interrupted" Ruri explains. "Your brother…you mean that one from back then? Wait, don't tell he's fighting Masumi now?" Yuya asks. Masumi and her friends activates their Duel Disks "DUEL!" All four duelist yells.
"First strike wins!" Hokuto comments. "Get him, Masumi!" He tells her. "My turn! I Summon Gem-Knight Lapis!" Masumi declares (ATK: 1200). "I set one card and end my turn!" She states. "You're next!" Yaiba tells Kurosaki. "My turn! I summon Raidraptor - Vanishing Lanius!" Kurosaki begins his turn (ATK: 1300). "If this card is successfully Normal or Special Summon, I can Special Summon another Vanishing Lanius from my hand this turn!" He states (ATK: 1300). "Next I activate the Continuous Spell: Raidraptor – Nest!" Kurosaki declares. "When there are two Raidraptor monsters with the same name on my Field, I can add one monster of the same name to my hand from my Deck" He explains as he adds other Vanishing Lanius from his deck. "I Special Summon another Vanishing Lanius due to the effects of the two currently on the Field!" Kurosaki declares (ATK: 1300). "Then I set two cards and end my turn!" He states.
"Please, stop him!" Yuya begs Ruri. "Didn't you stop him back then too? Why this time…" He asks "You don't need to know" Ruri replies. Yuya was surprise by the reply. "I don't want to involve you" Ruri states. Yuya then tries to run past her, but Ruri grabs his wrist "I don't want you to get hurt!" Ruri protest. Yuya was confuse at that statement.
"My turn!" Hokuto declares. "If my opponent controls monsters and I do not, I can Special Summon Constellar Siat!" He explains (ATK: 100). "Following that, I Normal Summon Constellar Pollux!" Hokuto declares (ATK: 1700). "During the turn this card was Normal Summon, I can Normal Summon another "Constellar" monster!" He states. "I Normal Summon Constellar Algiedi (ATK: 1600) and activate its monster effect!" Hokuto declares. "I can Special Summon one Level 4 or lower "Constellar" Monster from my hand!" He states. "The one I summon is…Constellar Kaus!" Hokuto declares (ATK: 1800). "You use Xyz, don't you? And you using it to commits all these crimes…is a huge pain in the ass you know!" He mentions. "I have to defeat you in order to defend the honour of Xyz! As well as to prove LDS' Xyz is the strongest!" Hokuto says. "I activate Kaus's monster effect!" He declares and Kaus fires an arrow of light into the sky. "I increase Algiedi's and Kaus's Levels by 1!"Hokuto states as light rains on Kaus and Algiedi (Kaus's LV: 5, Algiedi's LV: 5). "I Overlay my now Level 5 Constellar Kaus and Constellar Algiedi!" Hokuto declares. "Light of the stars, come descend and shake this very earth! Xyz Summon! Rank 5! Constellar Pleiades!" He chants (ATK: 2500). "Furthermore, I activate the Spell Card: Constellar Twinkle from my hand!" Hokuto states. "It increase Constellar Pollux's Level by 2!" He explains (Pollux's LV: 6). "I activate Constellar Siat's effect!" Hokuto declares. "It targets Pollux and matches its Level!" He states (Siat's LV: 6). "I Overlay my Level 6 Siat and Pollux!" Hokuto declares. "Rain down your dazzling light! Xyz Summom! Come forth, Rank 6! Constellar Ptolemy M7!" He chants (ATK: 2700). "He pulled off consecutive Xyz summons!" Yaiba cheers. "Pretty good. Hokuto!" Masumi congratulates him. "I'm just getting started!" Hokuto reassures them. "I activate Constellar Pleiades' effect!" He declares. "By using one Overlay Unit, I send one Vanishing Lanius back to your hand!" Hokuto states. "Furthermore I activate Ptolemy's effect!" He declares. "By using one Overlay Unit, I can send another one of your Vanishing Lanius back to your hand!" Hokuto states as he targets second Vanishing Lanius. "I end my turn with that" He states. "You're up next Yaiba, we're counting on you!" Hokuto tells Yaiba. "Alright! Leave it to me!" Yaiba tells them.
"You don't want to hurt me? Why are you saying things like that to me while you go and hurt other people?!" Yuya asks Ruri. Ruri gasps. Yanking his arm out of her grip "Are you saying it's fine if Masumi gets hurt?!" Yuya asks. Ruri looks away. "Just who are you!? No, all of you!" Yuya asks her.
"Let's do this! I Summon XX-Saber Boggart Knight!" Yaiba declares (ATK: 1900). "When this monster is successfully Summoned: I can Special Summon another Level 4 or lower "X-Saber" monster from my hand!" He states. "I Special Summon the Level 1 Tuner Monster, X-Saber Palomuro!" Yaiba declares (ATK: 200). "When there are two or more "X-Saber" monsters on the field, I can Special Summon XX-Saber Faultroll!" He states. Boggart Knight and Palomuro cross their swords which then emit lightning, creating a portal from which Faultroll emerges (ATK: 2400). "Now after you've see LDS' Xyz, I'll show you LDS' Synchro!" Yaiba tells Kurosaki. "I tune my Level 4 Boggart Knight with my Level 1 Palomuro!" He declares. "Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 5! X-Saber Wayne!" Yaiba chants (ATK: 2100). "But this is only the beginning. When this guy is Summoned: I can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Warrior-Type monster from my hand!" He states. Wayne fires a blast of energy from his pistol at the ground "I summon the Level 3 Tuner Monster, XX-Saber Fulhelmknight!" Yaiba declares, who twirls his chain sword as he emerges from the portal (ATK: 1300). "I activate Faultroll's effect!" Yaiba declares. "I bring back X-Saber Palomuro from my Graveyard!" He states. Faultroll" stabs its sword into the ground to open the return portal for Palomuro (ATK: 200). "Now, here comes the real deal!" Yaiba yells. "I tune my Level 6 Faultroll with Level 3 Fulhelmknight!" He declares. "Let your sliver armour shine! Crush the hope of all who oppose you! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 9! XX-Saber Gottoms!" Yaiba chants (ATK: 3100). "One more! I tune my Level 5 X-Saber Wayne with Level 1 Palomuro!" He declares. "Clothed in your red mantle, take down your foes with your dancing blade! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 6! XX-Saber Hyunlei!" Yaiba chants (ATK: 2300).
Exchanged glances with Hokuto "Hyunlei's monster effect activates!" Yaiba declares. "I can destroy three Spell and Trap Cards on the field!" He explains. Hyunlei throws three daggers, destroying Raidraptor - Nest, and Kurosaki's Set Unicorn Beacon and Raidraptor – Readiness. "I use another one of Constellar Pleiades' Overlay Units to activate its monster effect!" Hokuto declares. "I send the last Vanishing Lanius back to your hand!" He states. "Amazing! His field is wide-open now!" Masumi amazed. "We're not done yet, this isn't enough! I'll use my forbidden move on you!" Yaiba exclaims. "I activate the Spell Card: Gottoms' Second Call!" He declares. "I Special Summon XX-Saber Faultroll and X-Saber Wayne from the Graveyard with 0 ATK!" Yaiba states (ATK: 0) (ATK: 0). "I'll revive Fulhelmknight with the returned Faultroll's effect!" Yaiba declares. Faultroll stabs its sword into the ground again and Fulhelmknight emerges, twirling his sword (ATK: 1300). "Gottoms' monster effect activates!" Yaiba declares. "By Releasing one "X-Saber" monster, I can discard one card from my opponent's hand!" He explains. "I Release Fulhelmknight, Faultroll and Wayne and have you discard your entire hand!" Yaiba declares , and all three monsters are absorbed into the sword of Gottoms. Gottoms then swing his blade to create an energy wave that impacts with Kurosaki's hand and causes his cards to glow purple. Unfazed, Kurosaki discards all three of his Vanishing Lanius. "How's that? Now your hand is gone too!" Yaiba cheers. In the LDS observation room, "Well done!" Nakajima pleased. "It seems they weren't talk after all" He admits.
"Answer me! Who are you? What are you after?" Yuya emphatically asks Ruri. "We're after our comrades…Saving our dear comrades who have been captured by our enemy!" Ruri explains. "Captured comrades…?" Yuya repeats. Yuya gasps "Is that…Yuto?" He asks. Ruri reacts in shock.
"We might even be stronger than LDS' top team!" Yaiba tells Hokuto. "We could be! If we take out this guy, we'll be promoted to their ace members on an instant!" Hokuto muse. "Then let's end this on an instant!" Yaiba suggest. "I end my turn here!" He declares. "Masumi, you finish it up!" Yaiba tells her. "Thank you, Yaiba…Houkto!" Masumi thanks her friends. "From this turn onward, I can draw!" She reminds Kurosaki. "My turn!" Masumi declares and draws. "I activate the Spell Card: Gem-Knight Fusion from my hand!" She declares. "I fuse my Gem-Knight Lapis on the Field with my Gem-Knight Lazuli in my hand!" Masumi states. "Blue gem, veiled in a mysterious power, come before us in a peal of light! Fusion Summon! Level 5! Gem-Knight Lady Lapis Lazuli!" She chants (ATK: 2400) Kurosaki narrows his eyes furiously at the sight of the Fusion Monster.
"That person…he looked at me and called me Yuto" Yuya reminds Ruri.
(Flashback)
"Yuto!" Kurosaki calls out to Yuya. Removing his dark glasses "Why is Yuto here…?" Kurosaki wonders.
(Flashback ends)
"Is Yuto your capture comrade? Do I look like him…?" Yuya asks. Ruri removes her mask "That's what I thought at first. "Why is Yuto here…?" But you are not Yuto. Yuto would never learn the enemy's summoning method!" Ruri admits. "Enemy?" Yuya confused.
"Gem-Knight Lazuli's monster effect activates!" Masumi declares. "When this card is sent to the Graveyard: I can return one Normal Monster to my Hand!" She explains "I return Gem-Knight Lapis to my hand!" Masumi states. "Furthermore, I activate the effect of Gem-Knight Fusion in my Graveyard!" She declares. "By banishing one "Gem-Knight" monster from my Graveyard, I can return Gem-Knight Fusion to my hand!" Masumi explains. "I banish Gem-Knight Lazuli in my Graveyard" She states. "Here comes another! I activate Gem-Knight Fusion!" Masumi declares. "I fuse Gem-Knight Alexandrite, Gem-Knight Emerald and Gem-Knight Lapis in my hand!" She states. "Gem with face of noon and night! Brilliant emerald of good fortune! Bring forth a new light with hidden blue gem! Fusion Summon! Come forth! One who illuminates all with its supreme radiance! Level 9! Gem-Knight Master Diamond!" Masumi chants (ATK: 2900). "There it is! Masumi's ace monster!" Yaiba cheers. "This is LDS' Fusion Summoning!" Hokuto tells the furious Kurosaki.
"Fusion Summoning is your enemy you said…?" Yuya shocked. "The reason I learn Fusion Summoning was to protect the school…Because I wanted to protect my friends!" He states. Ruri flinches in surprise.
"Gem-Knight Master Diamond's ATK increase by the number of "Gem-Knight" monsters in the Graveyard times 100!" Masumi explains. "There are currently three in the Graveyard, thus it goes up 300 points!" She states (Master Diamond's ATK: 3200). "Lapis Lazuli's effect activates!" Masumi declares. "Once per turn, by sending another Lapis Lazuli from my Extra Deck to my Graveyard, I can deal damage to my opponent…equal to 100x the number of Extra Deck monsters on the field plus half of Lapis Lazuli's ATK!" She explains. "There are six of them on the Field!" Yaiba exclaims. "Lapis Lazuli's ATK is 2400!" Hokuto exclaims. "Therefore, you're going to take 600 plus 1200, 1800!" Masumi states. Lapis Lazuli fires a sphere of light from its chest orb (Kurosaki's LP: 2200). "Now the finishing blow!" Hokuto clamours. "Finish him, Masumi!" Yaiba tells her. "I activate Gem-Knight Master Diamond's monster effect!" Masumi declares. "It can banish one Level 7 or lower "Gem-Knight" monster from my Graveyard and gain its effect!" She states. "I banish Lapis Lazuli and activate Master Diamond's newly acquired Lapis Lazuli's effect!" Masumi declares. "I send my third Lapis Lazuli to my Graveyard! And with six monsters plus half Master Diamond's attack 1650 you take 2250 points of damage!" She states. Master Diamond swings its sword, creating a rainbow-colored shockwave "That's it!" Yaiba cheers. "We won!" Hokuto cheers. "I activate the Trap from my Graveyard: Raidraptor – Readiness!" Kurosaki declares. By banishing this card from my Graveyard, I can make my life 10 and negate any effect damage!" He explains (Kurosaki's LP: 10). "Damn it! He stuck out!" Yaiba furious that Kurosaki dodged the damage. "But his life is a measly 10! If Masumi attacks…" Hokuto points out. "Due to Readiness' effect, all battle damage this turn is also nullified" Kurosaki reveals. "Then even if she attacks…" Hokuto shocked. "I end my turn here" Masumi frustrated.
"As I thought, I don't feel am iron determination or a steeled strength in your Dueling!" Kurosaki comments. "What was that?!" Yaiba don't happy to hear that. "I'm amazed you can run your mouth when you're badly beat!" Hokuto amazed. "That's right, because we were always badly beaten and fighting on the edge" Kurosaki admits. "We?" Yaiba confused. "What is this guy going on about?" Hokuto doesn't know what Kurosaki was talking about. "But, we always had to stand up again! And finally overwhelming and eradicating our enemies!" Kurosaki muses. "MY TURN!" He declares furiously, screaming as he draws, and the crows flee the area. "I activate the Spell Card: Dimension Xyz!" Kurosaki declares. "If my life is below 1000 and there are three of the same card in my Hand or Graveyard. I can perform an Xyz Summon using them as Xyz Materials!" He explains. "I Overlay the three Vanishing Lanius in my Graveyard!" Kurosaki declares. "Obscured falcon, from adversity, raise your sharpened claws! Spread your wings of rebellion! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Raidraptor - Rise Falcon!" He chants. The Winged-Beast screeches as in hovers about Kurosaki (ATK: 100). "100 ATK…?" Hokuto shocked at the ATK value. "This monster can attack all Special Summon monsters on the Field" Kurosaki explains. "What was that "eradicate" nonsense about? There's no way you can beat us with that low ATK!" Yaiba asks.
"I activates Rise Falcon's effect" Kurosaki simply states. "By using one Overlay Unit, it gains ATK equal to the total ATK of all my opponents' Special Summoned monsters!" He explains. One of Rise Falcon's Overlay Units explodes in front of the LDS's students' monsters, and multicoloured energy streams rise from them and cover Rise Falcon in flames. Rise Falcon combines its 100 ATK with the 2700, 2500, 3300, 2400, 3100, 2300 ATK ATK from the opponent's monsters, finishing at 16400 ATK (Rise Falcon's ATK: 16400). "1-16400!?" Hokuto repeats the value in a daze. "No way!" Masumi gasp in horror. "Seriously?!" Yaiba gasp in horror. "Battle Phase!" Kurosaki declares. "Raidraptor - Rise Falcon! Rend and tear all of our enemies! Brave Claw Revolution!"He orders. Soaring above the city, Rise Falcon crashes into all six of the LDS students' monsters, wiping them out in a massive explosion. Hokuto, Yaiba, and Masumi were all blasted backwards (Hokuto's LP: 0) (Yaiba's LP: 0) (Masumi's LP: 0). Kurosaki looks on impassively.
"We too, are fighting to protect our comrades. In order to end this conflict, and to create a world where no one has to be hurt! I don't want to involve you in that conflict" Ruri explains to Yuya. "But if you have no choice but to fight, I want you to survive. Even if it means using Fusion Summoning!" She states. Yuya looked at Ruri as she came close to him. "The you who is trying to become stronger protect your friends…The you who is trying to change yourself isn't wrong" Ruri reassures Yuya, and smile. Yuya was struck by Ruri's resemblance to Yuzu.

"With that, you're trying to change yourself into a different Yuya from up until now!" Yuya remembers Yuzu tells him.
(Flashback ends)
"I'll continue to fight. With Yuto and my comrades. In order to save our future!" Ruri states. "You are a lot like Yuto…" She admits and walks away. "Wait! Tell me! Who is Yuto?" Yuya asks, and the wind begins to blow in the alleyway. "Yuto is one of our comrades, and my brother's best friend" Ruri explains. "What about you? What's your name?" Yuya asks Ruri. "I'm Ruri" Ruri tells him. "Ruri…" Yuya whisper before Ruri vanishing into the winds. "Ruri" Yuya repeats her name.
Kurosaki stands over the defeated students before hearing a noise behind him; Nakajima and five other LDS members were standing there. "Took you long enough…" Kurosaki mutters. "But I'm sick of fighting small fry! Bring me your boss!" He demands. "If you want me, I am right here" Reiji declares as he arrives, and his employees step aside as he walks towards Kurosaki determinedly.
