Hi everyone Rosestar48 here! In this chapter we'll have Yuzu vs. Kachidoki. And Yuzu will go in berserk mode.
Imperial Wrath Awakening
"With your power…Give it to the world…and everyone's future…Smiles…." Ruri said. Ruri, who came from the Xyz Dimension and looks like me, leaves me with those words before vanishing before my very eyes. But my opponent for the second round of the Miami Championship…is a martial artist whose Duels bring anything but smiles. Isao Kachidoki" Yuzu narrates. "I won't accept his way of Dueling! I will use the Dueling I believe in to make even him smile!" She states.
But first, Noboru Gongenzaka of the Gongenzaka Dojo has his Duel against Surprise School's Yuzo Tanegashima. Wearing a blindfold "I, the man, Gongenzaka, won't be fooled by these tricks!" Gongenzaka adamant. Having located his opponent "I attack directly with Susanowo!" Gongenzaka declares and Susanowo attacks Yuzo. "How did you know?!" Yuzo surprised as the attack hits (Yuzo's LP: 0) The Action Field dissipate. Gongenzaka takes off his blindfold "It was nothing!" He states. "The Transformational Duelling style has been defeated! The winner of Round Two's first match is Noboru Gongenzaka, of the Gongenzaka Dojo! He has beaten Yuzo Tanegashima from the Surprise School!" Nico announces. "He did it!" Ayu exclaims. "Next is Yuzu turn" Tatsuya notes. "Yeah…" Futoshi said. "Coming up next is our second match, let's get those introduction started!" Nico announces. "You Show Duel School's Yuzu Hiragi!" He introduces. "Go for it, Yuzu!" A man cheers. "I've been waiting for this!" Another man cheers. "Thank you! Thank you!" Yuzu acknowledges respectfully. The You Show students looked worried. "Hey, come on, why're you guys getting nervous just watching?" Shuzo notices. "Because her opponent today is that Isao Kachidoki! Weren't you watching yesterday's match!?" Yuya reminds Shuzo. "It was so fearsome it gave me shivers!" Futoshi said.
(Flashback)
"To think that the ace of LDS' Synchro Course, Yaiba Todo, would get beaten that badly…" Tatsuya recalls yesterday's match, when Yaiba was put to the sword.

"On top of that, Kachidoki was the runner-up for this tournament last year!" Yuya recalls. "The winner already moved up to Youth Class, though. So, it isn't strange to consider Kachidoki the number one candidate to win this tournament!" Gongenzaka remarks as he takes his seat next to Yuya as a spectator. "And her opponent is Ryouzanpuku School's Isao Kachidoki!" Nico announces. Isao made his entrance while a Ryouzanpuku colleague strikes a tam tam, silencing the audience with his menacing demeanor.
"They haven't even started and I'm already scared!" Ayu comments. "Smiling and Dueling don't belong together. That's how the Martial Art School Ryouzanpuku trains their students" Shuzo explains. "Martial Arts…" Tatsuya repeats. "To them, winning is everything. Just like you guys saw, their forceful Dueling is justified by their belief that anything goes if it leads to victory. Ryouzanpuku School's Principal, Ryozan Godagawa, has always been criticized for his forceful and rough Dueling style! But they've won loads of pro titles as if they were just brushing off their shoulders" Shuzo explains. "He seems like a very strict person…" Tatsuya surprised. "Yes…On top of that, it's a boarding school where students aren't allowed to go outside unless it's to attend class. I've also heard that they're not even allowed to see their parents until they become pro!" Shuzo explains. "I'd run straight out of that place full of shivers!" Futoshi states. "But even with such a strict training regimen, they have countless people wishing to join. They're only second to LDS when it comes to creating pros" Shuzo explains. "And the one who stands head and shoulders above the rest of Ryouzanpuku is Isao Kachidoki" Gongenzaka states.
"Now that our competitors are facing each other, let us select the Field Spell!" Nico declares and the Card began to spin and stops. "Action Field On! Field Spell: Bamboo Battleground, activate!" Nico declares. Yuzu finds herself at the front of a bamboo shelter while Kachidoki was standing on an isolated rock peak. "I saw your Duel yesterday" Yuzu states. As Kachidoki strikes a combative pose "I'll never accept you Dueling! That wasn't Dueling!" Yuzu defiantly states, for the first time out loud. "Duelist locked in battle!" Kachidoki begins the Action Duel chant. "Kicking against the earth and dancing in the air alongside their monster! They storm through this Field!" Yuzu chants. "Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of Dueling!" Kachidoki chants. "ACTION!" Nico yells out. "DUEL!" Yuzu and Kachidoki yell out. Nico snaps his fingers and the Action Cards scatters. Kachidoki lets Yuzu go first. "Well then, it's my turn! I Summon Cynthia the Melodious Valkyrie from my hand!" Yuzu declares (ATK: 1800), and immediately hitches on the valkyire-like monster. "That's it, Yuzu!" A man cheers. "So cool!" A women cheers. Yuzu acknowledges the crowd as they cheer. "Hey! Yuzu!" Futoshi exclaims. "In front of you!" Ayu exclaims as both of them notices that Yuzu's about to collide into something. Yuzu ends up brushing the leaves of the bamboos onto her mouth. "Look at her eating bamboo! What are you, a panda?!" Futoshi laughs. "Yuzu is always herself no matter who she fights!" Shuzo comments. "Always herself…" Yuya unsure.
(Flashback)
"That night, she met Ruri…She learned about unbelievable things like interdimensional conflicts…There's no way it isn't bothering her…" Yuya recalls his conversation with Yuzu yesterday.

"Despite that Yuzu…Yuzu is still standing up to face what she needs to" Yuya amazed.
"I end my turn here!" Yuzu states. "Draw!" Kachidoki response. "If my opponent controls a monster and I don't, I can Summon Hayate the Earth Star from my hand without a Release" He states (ATK: 2100). "There it is! Kachidoki has already Summoned a high-level monster!" Nico exclaims. "Battle! I attack Cynthia with Hayate!" Kachidoki declares. Yuzu tries to hide in the bamboo shelter, and finds an Action Card ahead of her "Al right, there's one!" Yuzu exclaims. But Kachidoki throws two shoots to slow Cynthia the Melodious Valkyrie down "That was close!" Yuzu said, but within moments, Kachidoki was ahead of Yuzu "You're too slow. The battle is still" Kachidoki comments and takes the Action Card for himself. With that, Hayate the Earth Star knocks Yuzu off her monster and destroys it "Kachidoki is already dishing out the damage!" Nico said (Yuzu's LP: 3700). "Destroyed Pendulum Monsters are sent to the Extra Deck!" Yuzu mentions. "I end my turn!" Kachidoki states.
"That's so cheap!" Ayu claims. "She would've gotten it if Kachidoki didn't get in the way!" Tatusya claims. "That's so underhanded it gave me shivers!" Futoshi claims. Yuzu notices the same gesture that Kachidoki used before "Are you going to keep Dueling like that no matter what?" Yuzu reacts to it with disdain. "If so, then I'll also…Duel the way I believe in!" She said. "My turn!" Yuzu declares and draws. "Here it is!" She pleases with her draw: Beste the Melodious Enchantress. "I, using the Scale 4 Beste the Melodious Enchantress and the Scale 9 Dulcet the Melodious Sorceress, set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuzu declares. "With this, I'm able to simultaneously Summon monsters from Levels 5 to 8!" She states. "Swing, Pendulum of my Soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, with your and radiant voice, Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra!" She chants (ATK: 2600). "Here's Hiragi's Pendulum Summon!" Nico announces. "The fun has just begun!" Yuzu states and the audience cheers. "Yuzu!" Ayu cheers. "Get him!" Futoshi cheers. "The fun?" Kachidoki mulled over. "Yeah! Duels should be fun!" Yuzu reiterates. "I am only here to win" Kachidoki persistent. "I also want to win!" Yuzu also agrees with Kachidoki's aim. "But that isn't all there is to Dueling!" She said. "And now, I Normal Summon Caroline the Melodious Mercenary from my hand!" Yuzu states (ATK: 800). "Battle! I attack Hayate the Earth Star with Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra!" Yuzu declares. "I activate Hayate's effect" Kachidoki declares. "If it is the only monster I control, it can negate one attack" He explains and Hayate fires a blue flame at Mozarta. "Kachidoki responds to that attack splendidly!" Nico narrates. "We didn't think that it would be that easy to beat you" Yuzu comments. "Right?" She beckons over Beste the Melodious Enchantress. "This situation…" Tatsuya notices. "Since Beste is in the Pendulum Zone, that means…" Ayu notices. "Just like in her first match with Sawatari…!" Futoshi notices. "I activate Beste the Melodious Enchantress' Pendulum Effect!" Yuzu declares. "Once per turn, I can use monsters on my field to perform a Fusion Summon!" She explains. Beste blasts a barrage of musical symbols from her staff. "I'll use Caroline the Melodious Mercenary and Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra as Fusion Materials!" Yuzu declares. "It's coming!" Yuya anticipates and Caroline and Mozarta fuse together "Mercenary of the scalding seas, Become one with the artiste of mystery and give birth to a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth, passionate maestra with exquisite sounds! Level 8! Lace the Melodious Pendulum Fauna!" She chants (ATK: 3000).
"There it is! Pendulum Fusion! Hiragi's new ace monster!" Nico recognizes. "The two Pendulum Monsters used as Fusion Materials are sent to the Extra Deck!" He notes. Yuzu's hair-clips sparks a bit, which causes Kachidoki to have a recollection of him being a young boy under Ryozan's tutelage.
(Flashback)
On his first day at Ryouzanpuku School, Kachidoki was following Ryozan with a sad look. "Here I come, Uncle!" A child's voice said. "All right! Bring it!" A man's voice said. Kachdoki looks on his right he sees a younger Yuzu having fun with Yusho. "Come on, try and surprise me!" Yusho tells Yuzu. "Here it comes! My Entertament!" Yuzu declares. "What did you say?" Yushou laugh. "Do not think of Dueling as fun. The path you are about to walk is nothing naïve like that. The next time you'll be able to see your parents who brought that Duel Disk for you is when you become a pro. Until then, you will be walking a pitch black road of darkness" Ryozan warns Kachidoki. "I did it!" Yuzu cheers as her hairclips sparkles.

"It must have been fated since then…for me to Duel you now" Kachidoki remarks. "What are you talking about?" Yuzu not sure what Kachidoki was talking about. "Face me!" Kachidoki tells Yuzu. "Battle! I attack Hayate the Earth Star with Lace the Melodious Pendulum Fauna!" Yuzu declares. "I activate the Action Spell: Evasion" Kachidoki states. "It negates an opponent's attack" He explains. "Once again, Kachidoki avoids an attack!" Nico states. "What's wrong? Are you done with your fun, care-free Dueling?" Kachidoki inquires. "What?" Yuzu said. "If you're done, hurry up and end your turn!" Kachidoki request. "Next, it's my turn!" He states. "Hurry up and end your turn!" Kachidoki demands. "Next time, I'll make sure you have fun!" Yuzu promises. "I end my turn" She states.
"Draw!" Kachidoki declares. "If I control an EARTH monster, I can Summon Tenma the Sky Star without a Release!" He states (ATK: 2100). "With Tenma and Hayate as materials, I activate the Spell Card: Polymerization!" Kaichidoki declares. "What?!" Yuzu shock. "Star racing across the heavens, Pass over the earth! Become one and shine as eternal ruling star! Fusion Summon! To me, Idaten the Conqueror Star!" Kachidoki chants (ATK: 3000). "What?! Kachidoki has also performed as Fusion Summon! After falling short of the Championship last year, he's evolved even further!" Nico marvels at the responding Fusion Summon. "Its attack is the same as Lace, but knowing Yuzu…" Gongenzaka notes. "With an Action Card…!" Yuzu said running for an Action Card. Kachidoki notices "Let me tell you what Idaten's monster effect is. Whenever this card battles a monster with a lower Level, the opposing monster's ATK becomes 0" He reminds Yuzu. "What?!" Yuzu shocked. "If Lace's ATK becomes 0, she'll take 3000 damage at once!" Yuya realizes. While Yuzu continues to run, Kachidoki swiftly takes out a piece of bamboo and throws it in front of Yuzu, causing her to trip over. "I equip the Equip Spell Card: Magic Star Sword to Idaten!" Kachidoki declares. "By sending one Spell Card that I've added to my hand this turn to the Graveyard, the equipped monster's ATK goes up by 100!" He explains. Yuzu gasp as Kachidoki jumps on to one of the floating islands and into the bamboo and takes the Action Card. "Ow…" Yuzu grunts. "I send one Action Card to my Graveyard. Idanten's goes up by 100!" Kachidoki states (Idaten's ATK: 3100). "Because Action Spell cards are Spell Cards, everyone he sends to the Graveyard will increase its ATK!" Tatsuya notes.
Yuzu, sensing this, goes for the next Action Card she sees, but Kachidoki barges her and grabs the Action Card for himself. Yuzu grunts in pain as Kachidoki stands over her. "I send a second Action Card to my Graveyard" Kachidoki states (Idaten's ATK: 3200). "Third to my Graveyard!" He declares as he kicks Yuzu (Idaten's ATK: 3300). "Fouth to my Graveyard!" Kachidoki said as he snatches it (Idaten's ATK: 3400). "Fifth to my Graveyard!" He states and he lands on Yuzu's face (Idaten's ATK: 3500). "Sixth to my Graveyard!" Kachidoki states as he pushes Yuzu (Idaten's ATK: 3600). "He keeps fighting so dirty…" Futoshi not pleased at what he sees. "Yuzu's LP currently at 3700!" Tatsuya worries. "If this keeps up, she's going to lose!" Ayu worries. "If he gets the next Action Card, it's over for me!" Yuzu knows, was now running as fast as she can for the next Action Card she sees. "I will never let you get a hold of an Action Card!" Kachidoki declares, matching Yuzu's pace. "What!?" Yuzu asks. "Up until now, you've lived your life strolling along a bright path without shadow falling over it" Kachidoki tells her. "What are you talking about?!" Yuzu confused. "I walked only a pitch-black path of darkness. I will not lose to someone like you! I will attain victory!" Kachidoki states. "You don't know that for sure!" Yuzu points out. As they both get closer to the Action Card "I'll definitely get that!" Yuzu declares. "I won't let you. Battle! I attack Lace with Idaten!" Kaichidoki declares and Idaten attacks Lace. "Idaten's effect activates! Lace's ATK becomes 0!" Kachidoki declares (Lace's ATK: 0). "The wind of victory only blows for those who have seen true darkness!" He states. As Idaten get closer to Lace "I'm not going to give up!" Yuzu declares and jumps for the Action Card, but at the next moment, an explosion is heard from inside the bamboo shelter. "Hey…" Shuzo worries. "What happened?" Gongenzaka worries. "Yuzu…" Yuya worries. Yuzu…" The You Show Youths worries. But as the smoke clears, Kachidoki has placing his foot over Yuzu's left wrist, about to steal the Action Card in Yuzu's left hand. "What's this!? Hiragi managed to get an Action Card, but her remaining life is only 100!" Nico announces (Yuzu's LP: 100). "I end my turn" Kachidoki reluctantly said. Yuzu's dad and her friends were getting nervous. Yuzu slowly get up.
Waiting for Yuzu to begin her turn "Looks like you lived by the skin of your teeth…but your own darkness will be upon you soon" Kaichdoki notes. Within moments, the area around Kachidoki and Yuzu darkens "Fall into the pitch-black darkness" Kachidoki repeats his prophecy. Suddenly, Yuzu appears to seize up. The next moment that she can see, she sees nothing but darkness. But as she turns, she sees Ruri staring at her. They happen to touch each other simultaneously, and merge into one. Lightning flashed and Yuzu's eyes become an eerie shade of red and her hair was sticking upwards. Kachidoki gasps when he sees them. "My turn, draw!" Yuzu declares in a calmer tone. "I activate the Action Card: Mad Hurricane" She states. "This card returns all cards on my field to my Deck" She explains. "Hiragi has no more cards on her Field!" Nico announces. "Yuzu…what are you trying to do?!" Shuzo wonders. "I activate the Spell Card: Melody Consonance" Yuzu said. "For each card that was return to my Deck this turn, I get to draw one card from my Deck" She explains. At the next moment "I, using Lyra the Melodious Diva and Rhyhim the Melodious Diva, set the Pendulum Scale" Yuzu said. "With this, I'm able to simultaneously Summon multiple Level 4 monster" She states. "Swing, Pendulum of my Soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monster servants! From the Extra Deck Caroline the Melodious Mercenary (ATK: 800), and Cynthia the Melodious Valkyrie" Yuzu chants (ATK: 1800). "I activate the Spell Card: Rhythmical Flow" She states. "For each "Melodious" Card face-up on the Field, I get to draw two cards from my Deck" Yuzu explains. "Next I activate the Spell Card: Melody's Motions" She states. "For each "Melodious" monster that was Special Summoned this turn, I get to draw one card" Yuzu explains. "I activate the Spell Card: Melody's Downbeat" She states. "All Level 4 "Melodious" monsters on my Field become Level 1 until the end of this turn" Yuzu explains (Caroline's LV: 1) (Cynthia's LV: 1). "Next I activate the Spell Card: Lyrics!" She declares. "This card treats all level 4 or lower monsters on my field to an archetype of my choosing!" Yuzu explains. "I choose Lyrilusc!" She states "What is she going to do?!" Gongenzaka wonders what Yuzu's next course of action. At the next moment "With the Level 1 Caroline the Melodious Mercenary and Cynthia the Melodious Valkyrie, I construct the Overlay Network!" Yuzu declares. "Birds with beautiful wings! Gather on the battlefield and take brilliant flight! Xyz Summon! Dance in the sky! Rank 1! Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale!" She chants (ATK: 0).
"Th-this is?! Pendulum Summon into an Xyz Summon!?" Nico horrified. "What?!" Kachidoki shocked. "Yuzu Summoned Ruri's Artiste!?" Yuya recognizes the monster. In the Leo Corporation's Control Room "Why does she have Assembled Nightingale!?" Kurosaki shocked. "As I thought, it was in her possession…" Reiji thinks. "Assembled Nightingale's ATK is equal to the number of Overlay it has times 100!" The awaken Yuzu states (Assembled Nightingale's ATK: 200). "Next I activate the Spell Card: Choir's Song!" She declares. "For each Monster in our Graveyards, my monster gains 100 ATK" Yuzu explains (Assembled Nightingale's ATK: 500). "Next, I activate the Continuous Spell: Melody's Plus!" She states. "Now my monster's ATK won't decrease from a Spell or Trap card's effect!" Yuzu explains. "Spell Card: Musical Understudy!" She declares. "By removing one "Melodious" monster from my Graveyard, I can add its DEF to one of my Monster's ATK" Yuzu explains as she removes Lace the Melodious Pendulum Fauna from her Graveyard (Assembled Nightingale's ATK: 2500). "Next, Continuous Spell: Mesmerizing Melody, activate!" She states. "By removing one Overlay Unit from Assembled Nightingale…It can half the ATK of an opponent's Level 5 or higher monster until the end of then turn…and increase the ATK of one of my monster on the Field by that amount!" Yuzu explains (Idaten's ATK: 1800) (Assembled Nightingale's ATK: 4300). "By using the remaining Overlay Unit…I activate Mesmerizing Melody's effect!" She declares (Idaten's ATK: 900) (Assembled Nightingale's ATK: 5200). "An ATK of 5200?!" Kaichidoki alarmed at what this means. The Awaken Yuzu pays no heed "Battle. I attack Idaten the Conqueror Star with Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale" She declares. As Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale prepares to launch its attack "Idaten's effect activates!" Kachidoki declares. "If it battles a monster with a lower Level, that monster's ATK becomes 0!" He states. "Xyz monsters do not possess Levels. Therefore, the effect is negated" Yuzu calmly states. "What?!" Kachidoki shocked. "If they don't possess levels then isn't their Levels 0?!" He thought. "Strike of the Whirlwind Violation!" Yuzu declare and wasting no time, the artiste's Strike of the Whirlwind, Violation cleans up Idaten the Conqueror Star and all 4000 of Kachidoki's life points (Kachidoki's LP: 0).
The Action Field dissipates but the stadium remains unlit, having suddenly plunged into darkness earlier. "Th-the winner is Yuzu Hiragi…" Nico announces, but the audience stays silent. "G-good job Yuzu…" Shuzo tries to applaud but nothing happens. "I'm so scared I've got shivers" Futoshi said. "Yuzu…" Ayu notices Yuzu's change of demeanor. "seems like a different person…" Tatsuya notices Yuzu's change of demeanor, and Yuya watches on with similar concern. Suddenly, Yuzu's eyes return to normal, and she regains her senses. Yuzu her fallen opponent "Kachidoki!" Yuzu calls out as she runs up to him. "A-are you okay?" Yuzu asks him offering her hand, but Kachidoki bushes her off, which surprised Yuzu. The Ryouzanpuku School then leaves and Kachidoki tries to bow apologetically to his comrades. Then Yuzu looks back on her supporters, including the You Show team, and all stare back blankly. "What is this…This feeling…" Yuzu wonders.

For each card returned to your Deck, you can draw one Card.
Rhythmical Flow (Spell Card)
For each "Melodious" card on your Field, you can draw two cards from your Deck.
Melody's Motions (Spell Card)
For each "Melodious" monster that was Special Summoned this turn, draw one card from your Deck.
Melody's Downbeat (Spell Card)
All Level 4 "Melodious" monsters on your Field becomes Level 1
Lyrics (Spell Card)
Every Level 4 or lower monsters on your Field is treated as an Archetype of your choosing, until the end of the turn.
Choir's Song (Spell Card)
For each monster in each player's Graveyard, one monster on your Field gain 100 ATK
Melody's Plus (Continuous Spell)
Your Monster's ATK won't decrease from Monster's effect or Spell or Trap Card.
Musical Understudy (Spell Card)
By removing one "Melodious" monster from your Graveyard, you can add its DEF to the ATK of a monster on your Field.
Mesmerizing Melody (Continuous Spell)
By removing one Overlay Units on one of your Xyz monsters, you can half the ATK of one Level 5 or higher monster on your opponent's Field and add that amount to your monster, until the end of the turn.
