Battle Royale Begins
"The Junior Youth Championship. After winning the Second Round, we're all fighting in a Battle Royale!" Yuzu narrates "ACTION!" Nico declares. "DUEL!" Everyone finishes by yelling. and the Action Cards scatter in four bunches. "Now, the Duelists must find two Pendulum Cards before they gain the right to Duel! They will then wager these cards in Duels, and the final ranking will based on how cards are in their possession!" Nico explains as each competitor was seen looking around for two such cards, with their Duel Disks already active. Yuya was looking inside a bush "Kurosaki never showed up, did he?" He comments to Yuzu, not so far from him. "No…He's one of the 16 competitors. He will definitely come" Yuzu knows. "Then let's spilt up and search!" Yuya, with a smile, decides and runs off. "Yuya!" Yuzu calls out, causing him to stop momentarily. "What?" Yuya asks. "Be careful" Yuzu, with a warm smile, hopes. "Yeah, you too, Yuzu" Yuya returns the appreciation and continues on his way. Back at the stadium "Now then, let's prepare the stage for our competitors! Action Field: On! Field Spell: Quartet of Quandary, activate!" Nico declares. Pink hemispheres emerge in various locations across Miami City, transforming the surrounding area. "Volcanoes! Icebergs! Jungle! Ancient ruins!" Nico list of the areas. "With all four areas set up, the preparations are complete! Who will come out on top? Who will hold victory in their hands?" He announces.
Yuzu was in the volcano-affected part of the city when he finds her second Pendulum Card. "All right!" Yuzu said as she finds a Pendulum Card. "Now you've gotten two, correct?" A voice calls out to her from the right, and Yuzu sees that two competitors have emerged to challenge her. "We of the Ryouzapaku Dojo will be your opponents!" Takeda declares. "We'll make sure to completely humiliate you" Umesugi declares. "Ryouzanpaku…" Yuzu whispers.

Yuzu remembers her Duel with Kachidoki in the Second Round

"A two on one Duel?" Yuzu nervously faces them down. The stadium then turns its focus on the imminent duel between Yuzu and the two Ryouzanpaku, Takeda and Umesugi. "Oh! Will the first Duel will be started in the Volcano Area? Ryouzanpaku's Takeda and Umesugi versus You Show Duel School's Yuzu Hiragi!" Nico announces. "Yuzu!" Ayu worries. "Her opponents are from the Ryouzanpaku Dojo!" Tatsuya worries. "This is the thrill of a Battle Royale!" Nico announces. "In line with the ante rule, bet a Pendulum Card!" Takeda states. "One per person!" Umesugi state as he and Takeda holds up a Pendulum Card. "Got it!" Yuzu agrees as she hold up a Pendulum Card. "DUEL!" All three Duellist yells. "Both players have bet a Pendulum Card and begun their Duel! On one side we have You Show Duel School's Yuzu Hiragi, and on the other side, we have Ryouzanpaku's Shin Takeda and Ken Umesugi!" Nico announces. "President!" Nakajime greets Reiji as he enters Leo Institute. "How is it going?" Reiji asks. "Yuzu Hiragi's duel versus Ryouzanpaku just started" Nakajima informs him. "Entrainment and Martial Arts! Which style will win out?!" Nico wonders. Takeda and Umesugi gesture to Yuzu to let her go first, the same way that Kachkdoki did, causing her to recoil "Even if my opponents are from Ryouzanpaku, I will Duel my way!" Yuzu remembers. "I Summon Arco the Melodious Diva from my hand!" Yuzu declares. (ATK: 500). "Bring it" Takeda said. "We'll drag you right into…" Umesugi said. "the darkness of defeat!" Takeda said. "Darkness?" Yuzu recognizes that word.

"Fall into the pitch-black darkness" Kachidoki tells Yuzu.

"You beat Kachidoki to a complete pulp" Umesugi states. "That was your true nature" Takeda states. "You're wrong!" Yuzu protest.
(Flashback)
"At that time…At that time, I didn't even know what I was doing!" Yuzu denies any knowledge or awareness of her actions during that duel.

"But I…I won't Duel like that again!" Yuzu tells them. "I set one card and end my turn!" She states.
Meanwhile, in a blizzard-affected part of the city, Gongenzaka finds his second Pendulum Card. "All right, now I've got two Pendulum Cards!" Gongenzaka exclaims. He hears a flirty giggle from somewhere. "Who's there?!" Gongenzaka demands. Olga looks momentarily and runs off, still laughing. "Hold it!" Gongenzaka yells and chases after her. Back at the volcano-affected area "My turn!" Takeda declares and draws. "You're not the only one who can use Pendulum now!" He tells Yuzu. "I, using the Scale 5 Pendulumstatue Purple Shield and the Scale 11 Purple Sword, set the Pendulum Scale!" Takeda declares. "With this, I'm able to simultaneously Summon monsters from Levels 6 to 10!" He states. "Pendulum Summon! Come forth! Tsumuji the Earthwind Star! (ATK: 2200) Arashi the Skywind Star!" Takeda chants (ATK: 2300). "Woah! Right off the bat, Takeda pulls off a Pendulum Summon! Summoning two high-level monsters at once!" Nico awes. "I activate Purple Sword's Pendulum Effect!" Takeda declares. "Once per turn, I can increase the ATK of all Warrior-Type monsters on my field by 200!" He explains (Tsumuji's ATK: 2400) (Arashi's ATK: 2500). "Battle! I attack Arco with Tsumuji!" Takeda declares. "I activate Arco's effect!" Yuzu declares. "By changing this monster to Defense Position, I can negate one attack!" She states (Arco's DEF: 1600). "But I don't have just one monster!" Takeda states. He has his other monster attack, but before it does, Yuzu was already running off to find an Action Card. "With that Action Card, I can…" Yuzu thinks. However, Umesugi knocks her back and goes ahead to take the Action Card for himself, while Yuzu has to prevent herself from falling into the lava. "How awful!" Futoshi curses. "What a bunch of cowards!" Ayu curses. "I hate to admit it, but they're totally in sync with each other!" Tatsuya notes. "I activate the Action Spell: Flame Ball!" Umesugi declares, which hits Yuzu for 200 of her Life Points (Yuzu's LP: 3800). "Nice one, Umesugi!" Takeda said. "Leave it to me, Takeda!" Umesugi tells him. "These guys…Using their rough play as usual! But I can't lose to this!" Yuzu seething with anger. "It's not over yet!" Takeda states. "What?!" Yuzu exclaims. "I activate the Spell Card: Polymerization from my hand!" Takeda declares. "What's this!? A Main Phase 2 Fusion Summon to follow up the Pendulum Summon?!" Nico exclaims. "I will fuse Tsumuji and Arashi!" Takeda declares. "Blow, wind! Rage, storm! Surging God of Destruction, regain over this land! Fusion Summon! Come, Level 10! Fujin the Breakstorm Star!" He chants (ATK: 3000). "I activate Fujin's monster effect!" Takeda declares. "At the end of each turn, it inflict 500 damage to you for each Warrior-Type monster on the field!" He explains. "What?!" Yuzu shock. "I end my turn!" Takeda states and Fujin sends gust of wind from its scythe (Yuzu's LP: 3300). "It's their turn again next! This time I need to get an Action Card!" Yuzu knows, she runs off for another Action Card. Umesugi chuckles "I'm counting on you, Takeda!" He tells Takeda. "Leave it to me, Umesugi!" Takeda replies. "You won't get away!" He tells Yuzu and gives chase. "Again?!" Yuzu annoyed.
Back at the blizzard-affected, Yuya shivers "Just looking at this make me cold…" Yuya states. "Man, it's hot!"A voice said. Yuya turn to see a boy walking towards him. "I'm so hot from running around! It's as hot as my country!" The boy claims. The boy then spots Yuya and runs towards him "You are Yuya Sakaki!" He recognizes Yuya. "Huh?" Yuya confuses. "I am Halil from LDS's School in Anatolia!" Halil introducing himself. "I am exchange student from their Fusion Course! Nice to meet you!" He greets Yuya happily. "Nice to meet you!" Yuya bows. "You are Fusion User who beat Masumi! I want to Duel you!" Halil said. "Umm…okay, but I don't have my second Pendulum Card yet" Yuya politely says. "I got three when I was running around! If I give you one, we both have two and we can Duel!" Halil offers. "Thank you! You're very kind!" Yuya kindly accepts the offer. "But I won't lose in a Duel!" Halil states. "I wonder about that! I'm not your ordinary Fusion user! I'm a Entertainment Duelist who also uses Fusion!" Yuya states. "I will learn from this!" Halil sees this as a great learning opportunity. "Ah…yes…" Yuya agrees. At the stadium, the focus momentarily shifts to the impending duel between Yuya and Halil. "Now then, a new development in the Iceberg Area!" Nico announces. "I will bet these Pendulum Cards!" Yuya and Halil wagered their respective cards. "You Show Duel School's Yuya Sakaki and LDS' exchange student, Halil's, Duel is starting!" Nico announces. "DUEL!" Yuya and Halil yells. "Burn on, Yuya! Hot-bloodied!" Shuzo encourages Yuya. "Oh man, double the Duels…double the shivers!" Futoshi said. "But Yuzu is…" Tatsuya worries about Yuzu, who's still being chased.
"My turn!" Umesugi declares and draws. "Here comes my Pendulum!" He decalres. "What?!" Yuzu gasps. "I, using the Scale 5 Pendulumstatue Purple Shield and the Scale 11 Purple Sword, set the Pendulum Scale!" Umesugi declares. "With this, I'm able to simultaneously Summon monsters from Levels 6 to 10!" He states. "Pendulum Summon! Come forth, Todoroki the Earthbolt Star (ATK: 2100) Senko the Skybolt Star!" Umesugi chants (ATK: 2400). "Umesugi has also pulled off a Pendulum Summon! And a Duel seems to be starting over here as well!" Nico notes the turn of events at the volcano and the blizzard area. "My turn! I Summon La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp!" Halil declares (ATK: 1800). "I set two cards and end my turn" He states. "My turn! Draw!" Yuya declares. "It's here! With this I can…" Yuya thinks as he draws the card he needed. "I using the Scale 3 White Butterfly and Scale 9 White Flower, set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya declares. "What?! Pendulum Summon?!" Halil shock. "It's finally time for my Pendulum debut!" Yuya declares. "Continuous Trap: Absorbing Lamp activate!" Halil declares. "It negates the activation of one of my opponent's Spell Cards and adds it to my hand!" He explains. "Huh?!" Yuya gasps. "Give me White Flower!" Halil states. "My first Pendulum Summon…" Yuya laments his failure to Pendulum Summon as he gives his card away. "Activated Pendulum Cards are treated as Spell Cards! Studying has paid off!" Halil said. "I Summon Performapal Trill Artist from my hand!" Yuya declares (ATK: 2300). "This card cannot attack the turn it was Normal or Special Summoned" He explains. "I end my turn!" Yuya states, knowing that he can't attack, much to Halil's pleasure.
Meanwhile, Gongenzaka has tracked down his opponent. "This place is so pleasant, it reminds me of my homeland. It makes me feel that I won't lose to anyone here!" Olga notes. "And ever New Year, I train in the snowy mountains!" Gongenzaka said. Olga turns around "I am Olga from LDS's Nordic School. I am exchange student from their Synchro Course!" She introduces herself. "Looks like another Duel is starting in the Iceberg Area!" Nico notes. "Oh, and how is the Duel already underway in the same Area going?" He wonders as he returns his focus on the other duel between Halil and Yuya. "My turn! Draw!" Halil declares. A Pendulum Card!" He pleased that he drew a Pendulum Card, though he says this out loud, which draws an annoyed reaction from Yuya. "Don't tell me what you drew!" Yuya tells him. "I'm so happy I couldn't helping buy say it!" Halil sheepishly says. "This exciting time has finally come! Here I go!" He exclaims. "I, using the Scale 1 Red Fiend and the Scale 9 White Flower, set the Pendulum Scale!" Halil declares. However, he places Red Fiend on the wrong zone "What? Hey! Come on! Huh? Why?" Halil wonders what's wrong. Looking more closely at his Red Fiend "Entertainment Dueling is difficult… But I want to bring it to my country too…" Halil mutters. "Huh?" Yuya said. "Hey! You guys! Hey!"Halil tries a few more times to find the right spot to place his card. Exasperated "Put it near the edge…" Yuya tells Halil. "What?" Halil confuses. "I'm telling you to put the Pendulum Cards in the Pendulum Zones on the edges!" Yuya tells him. "Near the edge…" Halil mutter as he puts Red Fiend on the right-most zone, then shifts White Flower further left, and finally his Duel Disk responds.
"I have learned from this!" Halil trilled. "Now I've returned the favour from getting your card" Yuya happily responds. "With this, I'm able to simultaneously Summon monsters from Levels 2 to 8!" Halil states. "Pendulum Summon! Come forth, Red Lamp! (ATK: 900) Purple Lamp!" He chants (ATK: 1600). "Whoopee! I did a Pendulum Summon! It's Entertainment!" Halil rejoices at his successful Pendulum Summon. "Red Lamp's effect!" He declares. "When this card is Special Summoned, I can inflict 600 points of damage to my opponent!" Halil explains (Yuya's LP: 3400). "Yes! I'm learning from this!" He exclaims. "Good for you…" Yuya said. "Furthermore, Purple Lamp's effect activates!" Halil declares. "When this card is Special Summoned, I can add the Spell Card: Polymerization from my Deck to my hand!" He explains. "I will activate Polymerization!" Halil declares. "Polymerization?!" Yuya exclaims. "I fuse La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp and Red Lamp!" Halil declares. "Genie called from the darkness…Embrace your sweltering soul…and be reborn! Fusion Summon! Please come out! Fire Jinn the Flame Genie of the Lamp!" He chants (ATK: 2400). "Woah! We've another successful Pendulum Fusion over here too!" Nico announces as Yuya stares defiantly. "Fire Jinn's effect! Halil declares. When this card is Special Summoned, I can inflict 600 points of damage to my opponent!" He explains, and Yuya squeals (Yuya's LP: 2800). "And additionally, with Red Fiend's Pendulum Effect, I can increase the ATK of FIRE monsters I control by 300!" Halil states (Fire Jinn's ATK: 2700). "Oh no!" Yuya exclaims as he runs off for an Action Card. "Battle! Fire Jinn, attack Performapal Thrill Artist!" Halil declares and Fire Jin destroys Echo Artist with a single touch "Ow!" Thill Artist said, shaving off 400 of Yuya's Life Points while he's still running (Yuya's LP: 2400). "Then, I attack directly with Purple Lamp!" Halil declares. Yuya was hit, falling on his left shoulder and sliding on the ice (Yuya's LP: 800). He sees an Action Card ahead of him "An Action Card!" Yuya exclaims and grabs it. "Got it!" He exclaims, but falls off the edge of the ice. He cries out desperately. "My god! Wait please" Halil exclaims and he gets on his monster's hands and chases after Yuya. "Yuya!" He calls out.
Meanwhile, as Takeda continues to chase Yuzu "Where's an Action Card?" Yuzu wonders. "I activate Purple Sword's Pendulum Effect!" Umesugi declares. "Once per turn, I can increase the ATK of all Warrior-Type monsters on my field by 200!" He explains (Todoroki's ATK: 2300) (Senko's ATK: 2600). "Battle! Direct attack on Yuzu Hiragi with Todoroki!" Umesugi declares as Yuzu was still running. The monster unfortunately catches up to her, blasting Yuzu backwards with its baton (Yuzu's LP: 1000). Yuzu lands next to an Action Card on her right, but her right arm is pinned down by Takeda's foot just as she goes to grab it. "What happened to your Dueling?" Takeda taunts Yuzu as he takes the Action Card. "Take this!" Takeda said as he jumps off Yuzu. "Action Spell: Flame Ball!" He declares. "Here's 200 points of damage!" Takeda yells out (Yuzu's LP: 800). "And now, a direct attack with Senko!" Umesugi declares. "I activate a Continuous Trap: Melodious Pinch Helper!" Yuzu declares. "It can negate a direct attack from an opponent's monster, then Special Summon an "Melodious" with 800 or less ATK from my Deck with its effects negated!" She explains. "Come, Cabaletta!" Yuzu calls out (DEF: 1800). "Then I'll use Quick-Play Spell: Frontline Fusion!" Umesugi declares. "I fuse Senko and Todoroki!" He states. "A Fusion during Battle?!" Yuzu shocked. "Flash across the heavens! Echo through the earth! Lighting God of Destruction, reign over this land! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Raijin the Breakbolt Star!" Umesugi chants (ATK: 3000). "This card deals piercing damage when it attacks Defense Position monsters!" He states. "And monsters Summoned during the Battle Phase can still attack!" Takeda points out. "That's 1200 piercing damage!" Tatsuya realise. "Yuzu's only has 800 LP left!" Futoshi realise. "At this rate, it's all over!" Ayu realise. Thus, Yuzu runs off again. "Battle! I attack Cabaletta with Raijin!" Umesugi declares. "I activate Continuous Trap: Pinch Helper's other effect!" Yuzu declares. "By sending this card to the Graveyard, I halve the Battle Damage I take when two monsters battle!" She explains. Raijin attacks and destroys Cabaletta, the lighting strikes Yuzu and she screams (Yuzu's LP: 200). However, she blacks out while taking the hit, and lands with her eyes closed.
Meanwhile, Gongenzaka and Olga were locked in duel. "I end my turn here" Gongenzaka states (Gongenzaka's LP: 2400) (Olga's LP: 2600). "My turn!" Olga declares, but before she could start, she hears Yuya screaming from above. He falls on Olga's left and knocks her to the ground. "Ouch!" Yuya said as he holds his head with his left hand "Yuya!" Gongenzaka notices him. "Gongenzaka!" Yuya reacts with surprise as well. "Hey! What's with you?!" Olga not pleased that Yuya's body is pinning her down. "If you don't get off me now, I won't forgive you!" She angrily scolds. "S-Sorry!" Yuya hurriedly gets back on his feet and apologizes. Yuya's Duel Disk then sounds "Battle Royale Mode. Joining. Tag Duel" It said. "Huh?" Yuya notices. "A Tag Duel?" Gongenzaka notices. When Olga gets up "Excuse me!" Haili said as he appears behind her on his monster. "What does this mean?" He asks. "It looks like the two Duels in the Iceberg Area have overlapped!" Nico realises. "Here it is! A Tag Duel with Sakaki, Gongenzaka Team versus Halil, Olga has been confirms!" He announces. "A Tag with Yuya and Gongenzaka?!" Tatsuya wonders how it happened. "What a shivering development!" Futoshi excited at this development.
Meanwhile, in the ravaged area, Kurosaki has yet to locate his opponent. "We finally found you. Shun Kurosaki" Carl states. "We shall avenge Charles' disgrace!" Ashley declares. "Become rust upon our swords!" Bram said. "I see, Knight of Duels" Kurosaki said. "So you want revenge for what happened to one of your members?" He states as they surround him on three sides. In the forested area, Hikage and Tsukikage of the Fuma Duel School were hurrying along swiftly. Yuri unwittingly enters the area, and this is picked up by the cameras at the Leo Institute. Reiji, however, was more interested in Yuzu's situation, where she was unable to get up despite still having Life Points. "There's nothing else she can do. With this, it's over" Takeda confident of putting the duel to an end. "Now we shall drop you into the depths of darkness!" Umesugi states. However, Yuzu does get up "I won't lose! I can't lose!" She refuses. "Your struggling is pointless! At the end of this turn, you'll take a total of 1000 damage from Fujin's effect!" Takeda reveals. "I end my turn!" Umesugi happily proceeds to declare it. Just as Yuzu was about to be hit, something blocks the effect. "Don't hog all the action!" A voice is then heard by the three duelists, who react with surprise that a fourth duelist has joined the duel. "Let me join in!" An orange-haired guy asks.
