Hi everyone, Rosestar48 here! Today will have Dennis joining Yuzu against Takeda and Umesugi!
The Marvelous Exchange Student "Dennis"
"Your struggling is pointless! At the end of this turn, you'll take a total of 1000 damage from Fujin's effect!" Takeda reveals. "I end my turn!" Umesugi happily proceeds to declare it. Just as Yuzu was about to be hit, something blocks the effect. "Don't hog all the action!" A voice is then heard by the three duelists, who react with surprise that a fourth duelist has joined the duel. "Let me join in!" An orange-haired guy asks. But when he says that "Beep! Penalty for intrusion 2000 LP!" His Duel Disk declares. "What?! Oh no!" The boy shocked and was zapped and loses 2000 Life Points for intruding a duel in progress. He slides down the rock cliff head first. Yuzu sweatdrops.
At the stadium, "The man who has just appeared is LDS' exchanged student from Broadway, Dennis Macfield!" Nico introduces the intruder. "But he has just taken a 2000 LP penalty for intrusion" He mentions. "What is that about?" Futoshi wonders. "That didn't happen with Yuya…" Tatsuya wonders. "Ahem! Ahem! Now then, I shall explain. First off, in Sakaki's case, he was already taking part in a Duel against Halil. But in this case, Dennis was not Duelling with anyone before joining, so he was then penalized" Nico explains. Back at where Dennis intruded, "Ouch…Sheesh…This is one of those late start, isn't it?" He laughs embarrassingly for the intrusion. "Well, I better collect myself!" Dennis straightens himself. "Wait, why did the effect damage go away?" Yuzu wonders. "Oh, that!" Dennis said.
(Flashback)
"When I joined this Duel, I sent Performage Damage Juggler to the Graveyard and activated its effect" Dennis explains what happened during that time. "When a monster would deal effect damage, its effect is permanently negated" Dennis also explains.
(Flashback end)
"So from now on, Fujin's end-of-turn damage effect can activate!" Dennis states. Takeda grits his teeth at the statement. "So you saved me?!" Yuzu realizes. "No need to thank me!" Dennis, suddenly with an elongated nose, admits he's flattered but doesn't need Yuzu's thanks. "Quit interfering!" Takeda cruses Dennis for his interference. "How rude! And I had so much fun planned too!" Dennis responds with a sigh. Back at the stadium "Now then, with Dennis' intrusion, a Tag Duel has started in the Volcano Area! And in the Iceberg Area, Olga's turn has just begun!" Nico announces.
Meanwhile, the newly-formed tag duel at the blizzard area resumes "I'll take both of you down myself! My turn, draw!" Olga declares. "I Tune my Level 4 Glacial Beast Blizzard Wolf with my Level 3 Glacial Beast Polar Penguin!" She declares. "Let your guard down and you're dead! Its piercing horn is just the tip of the iceberg! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Glacial Beast Iceberg Narwhal!" Olga chants (ATK: 2700). "All right! I attack Yuya directly with Iceberg Narwhal!" She declares. "Action Spell: Blinding Blizzard!" Yuya reacts. "It ends the Battle Phase!" He states. "I activate Iceberg Narwhal's effect!" Olga declares. "I can negate and destroy any Spell or Trap cards activated while this card attacks!" She explains and Iceberg Narwal cuts right through the blizzard to negate the Action Spell. Just as Iceberg Narwhal was about to make contact with Yuya's neck "I activate Superheavy Samurai Blowtorch's effect!" Gongenzaka declares. "When an opponent's monster attacks, I can change the attack to this monster!" He explains. "What!?" Olga gasp as her monster narrowly avoids contact with Yuya. "Once per turn, Superheavy Samurai Blowtorch cannot be destroyed in battle!" Gongenzaka explains. "But you won't escape the damage!" Olga states (Gongenzaka's LP: 200). Gongenzaka narrowly stops himself from sliding on the ice. "Gongenzaka!" Yuya rushes to tend to him. "I'm fine! Don't make a fuss!" Gongenzaka tells Yuya. "Why did you take the hit for me?!" Yuzu asks him. "This is a Team Battle. Don't worry about it!" Gongenzaka tells him. "Gongenzaka…" Yuya stunned. "Gongenzaka protects Sakaki with some amazing heroics!" Nico points out to the stadium audience. "That was manly of you, Gongenzaka!" Ayu cheers. "Yeah! Nicely done, Gongenzaka!" Shuzo cheers. "But who is that LDS guy who saved Yuzu?" Tatsuya wonders.
Back at the volcano area, "All right, let's finish this magnificently! My turn, draw!" Dennis declares. "Yuzu Hiragi! Our next turn will be your last, prepare yourself!" Takeda taunts Yuzu. "Do it magnificently!" Dennis said. "Yuzu Hiragi's remaining LP is 200!" Takeda taunts. "It'll be over with just one Flame Ball!" Umesugi taunts. Takeda and Umesugi leaps over Yuzu and Dennis to look for an Action Card. "This is bad!" Yuzu gasps. "Wow! Wonderful!" Dennis said as Yuzu gives chases. Dennis catches up "Hey, you're Yuzu Hiragi, right?" He asks her. "I'm Dennis Macfield! I'm an LDS exchange student from Broadway!" Dennis introduce himself. Taka jumps on the stone in the lava to get over to the other side. "You first round match was wonderful! I got so excited watching that!" Dennis comments. "Um, sorry, but I'm Duelling ring now!" Yuzu reminds Dennis. "All right!" Takeda said as he finds an Action Card. "Action Spell: Flame Ball!" He declares. "It deals 200 damage to an opponent!" Takeda states as he aims it at Yuzu. "There's one!" Yuzu exclaims as she grabs an Action Card. "Action Spell-!" She declares. "Performage Flame Eater!" Dennis declares. "When an effect would deal damage, I can negate that effect and Special Summon this card!" He explains (ATK: 1200). "What?!" Takeda shocked. "All right, this time!" Umesugi said when he sees an Action Card and grabs it. "Oh, also, your second round match! I didn't quite approve of that one" Dennis comments. "Action Spell: Flame Ball!" Umesugi declares. "It deals 200 damage to an opponent!" He states and aims it at Yuzu. "Action Spe-" Yuzu tries to activate. "Once again, I Special Summon this card!" Dennis interrupts Yuzu. "Performage Flame Eater!" He declares (ATK: 1200). "Jeez, you're annoying! Quite bothering me when I'm trying to talk to Yuzu!" Dennis tells his opponents. "But now that I say that…huh? Looks like there are two monsters with the same Level!" He realizes, and Yuzu gasps at what this means. "Which means I can do that!" Dennis states. "I construct the Overlay Network with my two Level 4 Flame Eaters!" He declares. "The Show must go on! Artisan of the air, swing across the stage with grace! Xyz Summon! Come forth, Rank 4! Performage Trapeze Magician!" Dennis chants (ATK: 2500).
"All right!" Dennis states as he leaps to grab hold of the left hand of his new Xyz Monster "Yee-haw!" He exclaims, and Yuzu gasps as the movement reminds her of Yusho Sakaki. As his monster continues to whizz around the air "Hup!" Dennis leaps back onto the ground next to Yuzu. "Now, feast your eyes!" Dennis asks Yuzu as Performage Trapeze Magician appears to spin itself into the lava, creating an explosion of glitter. The stadium audience and Nico are marvelling at the performance of Dennis' monster "What a gorgeous Summon!" Nico exclaims. "That kid's as flashy as Yusho!" Shuzo notes. "Michie is good, but this kid is cute too!" Yoko compares Dennis to Michio. "As long as Trapeze Magician is face-up, all effect damage lower than its ATK is negated" Dennis explains. "It means you guys won't be able to rely on Action Spell: Flame Ball anymore!" He tells his opponents. "Now then, I've done all I need to. I end my turn" Dennis states. "Huh? Just like that?" Yuzu asks. "You're more suited for the finale!" Dennis said. "Dennis…" Yuzu whispers.
At the forest area, the intruding Yuri has been watching the duels unfold, and turns to leave "Now then, let's change the screen to the Ancient Ruins Area! It's Shun Kurosaki's match against the three from Knights of Duels! How will Kurosaki fend off all three of them on his own?!" Nico shifts the attention to the ravaged area where Kurosaki was facing down three opponents at once. At the Leo Institute control room where progress of the duels is also being monitored "Have you determined Yuri's whereabouts yet?" Reiji asks. "No, I haven't been informed of it yet" Nakajima tells Reiji. "He is definitely somewhere in the city watching this…" Reiji is sure. Meanwhile "Battle! Raidraptor - Rise Falcon! Rend and tear all! Brave Claw Revolution!" Kurosaki declares and Rise Falcon obliterates all three of his opponents at once, just like it did last time. "These are not fit to be Lancers" Kurosaki concludes and walks off.
At the blizzard area "My turn, draw!" Gongenzaka declares. "I summon Superheavy Samurai Gigagloves!" He declares (ATK: 100). "And by sending a "Superheavy Samurai" monster from my hand to my Graveyard, I can Special Summon the Level 2 Tuner Monster, "Superheavy Samurai Trumpeter!" Gongenzaka states (ATK: 300). "Let's go! I Tune my Level 1 Blowtorch with my Level 3 Gigagloves and Level 2 Trumpeter!" He declares. "Raise your voice, godly demon! Come before us! Onto the frozen battlefield! Synchro Summon! Come down! Level 6! Superheavy Samurai Ogre Shutendoji!" Gongenzaka chants (DEF: 2500). "When Shutendoji is Synchro Summoned, and I have only Monster Cards in my Graveyard, it destroys all Spell and Trap Cards my opponent controls!" He explains. Olga grunts as her face-down was destroyed "Oh no!" Halil gasps as his Pendulum Scales, face-down and face-up Absorbing Lamp, leave the field. "When Continuous Trap: Absorbing Lamp is destroyed, the card taken by its effect returns to its owner's hand" Hallil explains as he reluctantly returns Yuya's White Flower to his hand. "Oh well…" He signs. "All right! I got my Pendulum Card back!" Yuya rejoice. "And Red Fiend's Pendulum Effect ends, so Fire Jinn's ATK returns to normal" Halil states (Fire Jinn's ATK: 2400). "Shutendoji can attack while in Defense Position!" Gongenzaka states. "Battle! I attack Fire Jinn!" He declares. Shutendoji attack and destroys Halil's monster (Halil's LP: 3900).
"All right!" Gongenzaka exclaims. "Well done as always, Gongenzaka! You turned the tables in one move!" Yuya pleased. "Oh, did he now?" Halil thinks otherwise. "When Fire Jinn is destroyed in battle, I can Release another "Lamp" monster to destroy the monster it battled with. Then my opponent is dealt 600 damage!" He explains. "What?!" Gongenzaka shocked. "I Release Purple Lamp and activate Fire Jinn's effect!" Halil declares. "This is bad!" Gongenzaka exclaims. Shutendoji was destroyed and Gongenzaka was throw back (Gongenzaka's LP: 0). "Gongenzaka!" Yuya yells out and hurries to him to tend to him. "I activate Iceberg Narwhal's effect!" Olga declares. Yuya gasps. "Once per turn, when an effect deals damage, I can deal the same amount of damage to my opponent!" Olga explains. Yuya was hit with shards (Yuya's LP: 200). Tatsuya and Futoshi gasps "Yuya!" Ayu cries out. "Yuya!" Gongenzaka struggles to get up. Gongenzaka!" Yuya yells out. "I've passed the baton to you! Use my Pendulum card…The rest is up to you!" Gongenzaka tells Yuya. "Gongenzaka…" Yuya whispers. "I got it!" He understands. "What beautiful friendship! I will learn from this!" Halil interrupts. "But Yuya only has 200 LP left" He reminds Yuya. "It will be over when my turn comes!" Halil states. "Not yet! I'll have you witness my show!" Yuya states. "My turn, draw!" He declares. He looks at the card he drew momentarily "With my already set White Butterfly and the Scale 9 White Flower, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya declares. "With this, I'm able to simultaneously Summon monsters from Levels 4 to 8!" He states. "Pendulum Summon! Now, you're one! Performapal Minstrel Caroler! (ATK: 1400) and Odd-Eyes Dragon!" Yuya chants (ATK: 2500). "If I use Caroler as Material for a Fusion Summon, I perform the Summon without a Fusion Spell card!" He states. "I fuse Caroler and Odd-Eyes!" Yuya declares. "Seraph's Melody, Dichromatic Eyes Dragon! Guided by the baton, gather your power! Fusion Summon! Now, come to the stage! Roar your song of victory! Odd-Eyes Bloom Dragon!" He chants (ATK: 1000).
"Battle! I attack Iceberg Narwhal with Bloom Dragon!" Yuya declares. Both monsters clash with each other. "Bloom Dragon is not destroyed when battling Special Summoned monsters, and negates all damage the player would take! The opponent is dealt damage equal to the amount negated, and the monster that battled is destroyed!" Yuya explains. "But I'll still have some LP after that!" Olga points out. "Then, I activated the Quick-Play Spell: Refraining!" Yuya declares. "Huh?!" Bloom Dragon said. "I can reduce the ATK of one monster to 100 until the end of this turn!" Yuya explains (Bloom Dragon's ATK: 100). "Wh-what!?" Olga shock. "Now, the stage is ready! Bloom Dragon, sing with all your might! Rebound Howl!" Yuya declares and Bloom Dragon blows away Olga's monster and sends her crashing out of the duel (Olga's LP: 0). Halil looks on "What a beautiful Duel! I will learn from this!" He says. "Now, you're next!" Yuya tells Halil. "But Yuya, you don't have any more monsters that can attack" Halil points out. "This is the end!" He states. "No, I still can!" Yuya states. "I activate the Quick-play Spell: De-Fusion!" He declares. "I return a Fusion Monster to my Extra Deck and Special Summon the Fusion Materials used for it!" Yuya explains. "I Special Summon Performapal Minstrel Caroler (ATK: 1400) and Odd-Eyes Dragon from my Graveyard!" He states (ATK: 2500). "Battle! I attack directly with Caroler!" Yuya decalres. "Oh my God!" Halil cries out (Halil's LP: 2500). "And finally, a direct attack with Odd-Eyes!" Yuya declares and Odd-Eyes blasted Halil. "I will learn from this!" Halil yells out (Halil's LP: 0).
As Halil drops to the ground, Yuya gave a big smile. "Yuya Sakaki has won with some beautiful Entertainment Dueling! The 4 wagered Pendulum Cards are given to the team of Sakaki and Gongenzaka!" Nico announces. "They did it!" The You Show Youths rejoices. "Burning! Hot-blooded!" Shuzo rejoices. Meanwhile, in the volcano area "You're up next! Show me your Entertainment Dueling!" Dennis tells Yuzu. "Dennis…" Yuzu whispers. "Yeah!" She smiles. "My turn, draw!" Yuzu declares. "I activate the Spell Card: Expanding Vocals!" She states. "By removing one "Melodious" monster from my Graveyard I can draw one card for each of that monster's Level!" Yuzu states as she removes Arco the Melodious Diva from her Graveyard. "I, using the Scale 1 Red Fiend and the Scale 7 Red Fairy, set the Pendulum Scale!" She declares. "With this, I'm able to simultaneously Summon monsters from Levels 2 to 6!" Yuzu states. "Swing, Pendulum of my Soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters! Level 4! Cynthia the Melodious Valkyrie! (ATK: 1800) Level 4! Viola the Melodious Diva!" She chants (ATK: 1700). Suddenly, Yuzu clutches her chest while her eyes glow red. "Yuzu…Yuzu. Yuzu!" Dennis calls out to her. "It's fine. Just relax! Yuzu!" He encourages her. "Dennis…" Yuzu said. "You're afraid it'll turn out like when you fought Kachidoki, right?" Dennis aware. "But it'll be fine! Trapeze Magician and I are here with you!" Dennis reassures her. Yuzu then remembers Ruri's parting words

"Give it to the world…and everyone's future…Smiles…" Ruri tells Yuzu.

"Thank you, Dennis!" Yuzu thanks him. "You got it! You're welcome!" Dennis states. "I activate the Spell Card: Melody's Downbeat!" Yuzu declares. "Now all my Level 4s Melodious monsters become Level 1!" She states (Cynthia's LV: 1) (Viola's LV: 1). "Next I activate the Spell Card: Lyrics!" Yuzu declares. Now all my Level 4 or lower monsters are treated as Lyrilusc! She states "All right, let's go! I construct the Overlay Network with my Level 1 Cynthia and Viola!" Yuzu declares. "Birds with beautiful wings! Gather on the battlefield and take brilliant flight! Xyz Summon! Dance in the sky! Rank 1! Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale!" She chants (ATK: 0).
"So you've finally stepped into darkness!" Takeda states. "The fact that you Summoned that artiest from the battlefield is proof!"Umesugi points out. However "That's wrong!" Yuzu states. Yuzu then smiles "The fun has just begun!" She says. "Assembled Nightingale's ATK equal to the number of Overlay it has x 100!" Yuzu states (Assembled Nightingale's ATK: 200). "It's showtime! Everybody enjoy! Let's have fun together" Dennis follows up as his Performage Trapeze Magician lifts him into the air. "And I'll start off!" He states as he lets go of it, and it catches him again. "I activate Trapeze Magician's effect!" Dennis declares. "By using one Overlay Unit...I can target a monster and let it attack twice this turn!" He explains. "I target Lyrilusc-Assembled Nightingale!" Dennis states. "Next is my turn!" Yuzu responds as she climbs on her artiest. "I activate the Spell Card: Melodic Draw!" She declares. "Now, for every monster that was Special Summon from the Extra Deck, I get to draw one card from my Deck!" Yuzu states. "Next I activate the Spell Card: Choir's Song!" She declares. "Now for each monster in our graveyards, Assembled Nightingale gains 100 ATK!" Yuzu states (Assembled Nightingale's ATK: 900). "Following that, I activate another Spell Card: Angelic Symphony!" She declares. "For every Special Summoned monster on my opponent's Field one of my monster gains 800 ATK!" Yuzu explains (Assembled Nightingale's ATK: 2500). "Next, I activate the Continuous Spell: Melody's Plus!" She declares. "Now my monster's ATK won't decrease From a Spell or Trap card's effect!" Yuzu states. "And lastly, I activate another Continuous Spell: Mesmerizing Melody!" She declares. "By removing one Overlay Unit from Assembled Nightingale…It can half the ATK of an opponent's Level 5 or higher monster until the end of then turn…and increase the ATK of one of my monster on the Field by that Amount!" Yuzu explains. "I target Fujin!" She declares (Fujin's ATK: 1500) (Assembled Nightingale's ATK: 4000). "I use the remaining Overlay Unit! I target Raijin!" Yuzu declares (Raijin's ATK: 1500) (Assembled Nightingale's ATK: 5500). "Yeah!" Dennis exclaims as he swings by. "Nice, Dennis!" Yuzu calls out. "Battle! I attack Fuijin with Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale!" She declares and Assembled Nightingale attacks. Takeda yells out and his monster was destroyed. Takeda gave out a big scream (Takeda's LP: 0). Assembled Nightingale then took off into the air "One more time, Assembled Nightingale! Attack Raijin! Strike of the Whirlwind Violation!" Yuzu declares and Assembled Nightingale attacks and destroyed Raijin. Uemsugi gave out a big scream (Uemsugi's LP: 0).
As Assembled Nightingale lands, Yuzu looks over her fallen opponents with a smile this time. "Yuzu!" Dennis hurries to her. "You did it, Yuzu! You really can do it!" He congratulates her. "Yeah! I pulled off my greatest Entertainment Duel!" Yuzu admits. "It's a shame there isn't an audience here with us though…" Dennis said. The crowd, however, are miles away at a stadium having watched the duel unfold, and cheer wildly. Nico holds up a paper fan "Amazing! A comeback from the precipice of defeat! This is Entertainment Dueling!" He says. At the same time "They did it!" the You Show Youths cheer for Yuzu's assisted victory. "Yuzu and Dennis won!" Ayu cheers. "Yoko! Yuzu pulled it off just like Yuya did!" Shuzo reminds her. "Yeah, thanks to Dennis!" Yoko says. "Now if I see Mitchie win after this, it'd be the best!" She cheers. Tatsuya laughs with embarrassment.
Michio was wandering the forest area having not found his opponent yet. He spots a stray face-up card beside a stream, and picks it up "A card in a place like this…" Michio wonders, only to be pulled by an invisible reel. "What is this?! The card is moving on its own!" Michio exclaims. "I caught one!" A voice said, Michio looks up and see a challenger in the tree. "You're…"Michio said. The challenger jumps off the tree branch to face Michio, having lured him out. "This is some awful hospitality" Michio disgusted. "It's not mean at all, you're the one who fell for it!" The challenger states. "Aren't you…that famous Cooking Duelist?" He recognises Michio. "Nice to meet you, I'm Michio Makoto" Michio confirms his identity. "Hey, I've got something I need your held with…" The challenger asks him.
At the blizzard area "Gongenzaka. Here" Yuya offers him two of the Pendulum Cards he retrieved from his opponents. "You're the one who won" Gongenzaka states. "I can't accept that" He refuse the offer. "But it is a Tag Battle…" Yuya reminds him. "Then I'll just take the one that I bet" Gongenzaka accepts taking back the card he wagered. "There's still much left to do. Let's both do our best" He encourages Yuya. "Yeah! Let's!" Yuya voices his encouragement as well.
At the volcano area "Thank you, Dennis!" Yuzu thanks him again. "I've always wanted to pair up with you once. With Yusho Sakai's pupil" Dennis states. "Huh? You know Uncle?" Yuzu surprised. "Of course! He's a Duelist I admire!" Dennis responds. "Having a Tag Duel with you felt like I was Dueling alongside Uncle!" Yuzu said. "Me too, it was fun!" Dennis states. "Let's both make sure to make it through this!" He encourages Yuzu as he offers his hand. "Yeah! It's a promise!" Yuzu state as she accepts Dennis' hand.

You can draw one card for each monster that was Summoned from the Extra Deck.
Angelic Symphony (Spell Card)
For every Special Summoned monster on your opponent's Field one monster on your side gains 800 ATK.
