Hi everyone Rosestar48 here! Today will be finishing the Duel against Yuzu and Tokumatsu.
The Man who Threw Away his Draws
"No, you don't get it yet. Those who fight against those on top are always crushed!" Tokumatsu comments. "Pendulum Summon! Come, my monsters! Yuzu chants. But Tokumatsu smiles "Continuous Trap Card Activate: Fraud Freeze!" He declares. "I can activate this card when my opponent Special Summons monsters from their hand! And those monsters are returned to their hands!" Tokumatsu explains. "What?!" Yuzu shocked, and all three of her monsters dissipated. "My god!" Dennis floored. "Her Pendulum Summoned monsters got shut-down like it was cheating!" He gasps. "So that means as long as that card exist, her Pendulum Summoning will be treated as cheating…" Sawatari muses in frustration. "And Tokumatsu's got Lightshower! Yuzu will take 1500 damage everything she draws!" Crow adds. "Yuzu…" Gongenzaka whispers.
"Too bad for you, your specialty Pendulum Summoning has been completely sealed" Tokumatsu notes. "You have no more chances or time" He doubts with a 3000 ATK monster ready to be unleashed.
Crow was among the spectators, along with Shinji, Gongenzaka, Dennis and Sawatari. "He's changed…." Crow not pleased. Gongenzaka, Dennis and Sawatari looks at Crow confused. "This Dueling style…Isn't how Enjoy Chojiro used to Duel!" Crow states. "Enjoy Chojiro?" Yuzu surprised by the name. "Do not call me by that name!" Tokumatsu annoyed to hear himself being called by a former moniker. Crow and Shinji gasps. "Right now I am…Chojiro of the Autumn Rain" Tokumatsu states. "All of those who Duel with the boss are left broken, their cards taken…as tears rain down from their face! So since then, he's been called that!" The blue robe inmate explains. "And you without any monsters to protect you…It's only a matter of time before your tear rain down as well!" The teal robe inmate states and laughs.
"I Set a monster face-down" Yuzu states. "Well, it is true that Fraud Freeze will only trigger on Special Summoned monsters. That means it's possible for you to Normal Summoned" Tokumatsu notes. "I end my turn here" Yuzu states. Prepare an umbrella for your tears that will rain down!" Tokumatsu suggests to Yuzu. "My turn!" He declares. "I draw a card now, I lose Lightshower's effect to deal 1500 damage to you when you draw! But instead, I will uses Lightshower's effect to abandon my ability to draw!" Tokumatsu states. Yuzu gasps. "On your next turn, when you draw, you will take 1500 damage!" Tokumatsu states. "Fall down your path of self-destruction!" He tells Yuzu. "Looking good, boss!" The blue robe inmate cheers "You've got your winning combo set!" The teal robe inmate cheers. "How many times must I tell you!? Your cheering does nothing!" Tokumastu silences the other inmates. "I don't need anyone cheering for me…All I need to do is win my Duels to prove that I have the power to remain on the top!" He said. "What a weird guy…People cheering for you means you're standing out above others! That's the essence of Dueling!" Sawatari doesn't agree. "That only matters to you!" Gongenzaka retorts. "I've finished my sure-win combo" Tokumatsu continues. "If you give up here, I'll let you keep half of your cards" He offers Yuzu. "All that you've finished is your combo. My loss hasn't been decided yet! I still have a chance!" Yuzu says. "You're powerless before the strength I have!" Tokumatsu states. "As long as you don't give up you'll get a chance!" Yuzu replies. "It seems you'll only learn through experiencing it" Tokumatsu observes. "Battle! I attack with Lightshower!" He declares and Lightshower destroyed Yuzu's face-down monster. "I end my turn here!" Tokumastu states.
"My turn…" Yuzu said. "My LP is at 2500…With the damage that I take from his effect, this is my final draw…" Yuzu hesitated before she draws. She draws Gita the Melodious Diva "Due to Lightshower's effect, you take 1500 damage with your draw!" Tokumatsu states. Yuzu, as expected, was hit with a light shower and screams (Yuzu's LP: 1000). "This is bad. If this keeps up, Yuzu will finish herself off!" Crow states. "I Set a monster face-down! I end my turn!" Yuzu states. "Are you finished, then?" Tokumatsu enquires. "It's over…" Shinji accepts Yuzu's fate. "My turn" Tokumatsu states. "I don't draw due to Lightshower's effect, and I attack your face-down Defense Position monster with Lightshower!" He declares. "This is just like the previous turn…If this continuous…"Gongenzaka states. "All that's left now is for you to draw on your next turn, as you bring your own LP to zero! That will bring an end to this match!" Tokumatsu states. Yuzu was speechless. "I end my turn" Tokumatsu states. "Now it's your turn" He tells Yuzu. Yuzu grits her teeth. "Go on, draw! The draw of your defeat!" Tokumatsu dares Yuzu.
"To think he'd change this much…" Crow states. "Yeah…He's way different than what he was back then" Shinji agrees. "What was that Enjoy thing you said earlier?" Dennis wonders. "Enjoy Chojiro" Shinji states. "He was a Duellist who we looked up to back when we were stills kids" Crow explains. "Looked up to? Him?" Gongenzaka asks. "Yeah…He was the Common's Star of Hope!" Crow states.
(Flashback)
"Always remaining clam whenever he was winning or losing. He never forgot that Dueling is supposed to be fun" Shinji explains. "Enjoy!" Tokumatsu declares as he draws. "In do or die situations, he would always pull out a miraculous draw and win! Even after he became a popular Duellist, he'd teach kids from the Commons how to Duel!" Crow explains. "I've gone to his Duel classes as well…" He states. "You bastard!" A punk yells at another punk. "Whenever he'd see young kids fighting…" Shinji explains. "Quit doing things like fighting. If you've got that much energy, try dueling!" Tokumatsu claims the two punks down, giving the two Duel Disk. The two punks gasp. "Dueling isn't just any other competition of strength! You must know yourself and your opponent. And that will allow you to form strong bonds with them! That's what Duelling is!" Tokumatsu tells them. Children came running and cheering to Tokumatsu. "Chojiro! Chojiro! Chojiro!" The children chants. "Enjoy!" Tokumatsu yell out.

"But now look at him…He destroy every card his opponent plays…And wait for them to destroy themselves!" Crow laments. "If he was so successful, why is he in the facility…" Gongenzaka asks. "No idea…" Crow replies. "He got beaten badly by Top's Duellists and after that he was never heard from again…" Shinji replies. "I hadn't heard any good news since then, but…" He states.
"What's wrong? You know there's nothing else you can do now, right?" Tokumatsu notes Yuzu's hesitation. "Give up! Your defeat has been decided!" He tells her. "Nothing has been decided yet!" Yuzu defiant. "We don't know what's going to happen next…That's why this is fun!" She states. "Shut up! There's no reason to enjoy a Duel!" Tokumatsu dismiss Yuzu's words. "There is! It's to…Make everyone smile! My father and Sir…and the Duellists I've fought have taught me that!" Yuzu states. "Quit prattling! You cannot change what will happen!" Tokumatsu continues to dismiss Yuzu's words. "No matter how much you defy it, you can't change fate! All of it is pointless!" He says.
(Flashback)
"On the surface, they speak of equality, but Tops remain above and Commons are below them. I hated that difference in our class! So I tried to break through that wall with Dueling! I wanted to change it so that there wasn't Tops or Commons when it came to Dueling! Believing that, I challenged Tops' Duellists! But..!" Tokumatsu explains. "All that awaited me was being ganged up by those who used to buy only strong cards!" He states as he was flung backwards. "The crowd's cheering was changed into booing…And eventually, it changed into scornful laughter! And then I thought…If I could stop their booing and scornful laughter…I don't need anyone cheering for me, or anyone smiling for me! And I bet everything on a last-chance Duel" Tokumatsu explains."Driven by the desperate urge to win, I cheated! And that moment, it was over for me! Dueling will never open the future for me. It will change nothing! From then on, all of my Dueling was just a tool to keep me alive in this prison" He states.

"Ever since then, I threw away Dueling by relying on the fate of a draw. And that is what gave birth to this sure win combo!" Tokumatsu explains. "This is the power that I came up with over these 10 years after realizing that I'm unable to change anything! So there's no way you would be able to change it!" He states.
"Whether I can change it or not…Let's find out" Yuzu challenged Tokumatsu statement. She puts on her visors, and prepares to draw. "Draw!" Yuzu declares. "This is the end!" Tokumatsu declares. "Due to Lightshower's effect when you draw you take 1500 damage!" He states and Lightshower launch the final blow. "The card I drew was Kalliope the Melodious Diva!" Yuzu declares. "By sending this card to the Graveyard, I can negate effect damage!" She states. "All right!" The green and red commons cheers. "It truly is a raincoat shielding her from the rain" Gongenzaka impressed at the suitability of the card Yuzu drew. "Your parlor tricks only delay the inevitable!" Tokumatsu dismisses. "That's not true! When a "Melodious" card is sent from my hand to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon Aida from my Graveyard in Defense Positions!" Yuzu explains (DEF: 1200). "That card is…" Sawatari recognizes the card. "It was destroyed in a previous turn…" Dennis remembers. "Once per turn, this Special Summoned card can't be destroyed in battle! And by sending this card to the Graveyard in my opponent's End Phase, I can add a Level 3 or lower "Melodious" monster in my Graveyard to my hand!" Yuzu states. "What?!" Tokumatsu exclaims. Kalliope the Melodious Diva is in Yuzu's Graveyard!" Crow states. "On Tokumatsu's next turn, Aida will be sent the Graveyard in the End Phase, And if Yuzu adds Kalliope to her hand, she can sent Kalliope to her Graveyard to negate Lightshower's effect…And by Kalliope being send to her Graveyard, she can Special Summon Aida again!" Gongenzaka deuces. "I see…It's an unbeatable infinite loop!" Dennis understands. "Sure-kill combo versus an infinite loop! You're pretty good Yuzu!" Crow impressed. "S-She…" The blue robe inmate caught by surprised. "Held out against Boss' sure-win combo…" The teal robe inmate caught by surprised. "I changed the flow of the match!" Yuzu states as she takes off her visors and smiles. "Why you…" Tokumatsu cursed.
Meanwhile, from another Facility cell "Hey, Guard! How about this one?" An inmate offers to bribe a guard with the Beckoning Light card. "Quite down already!" The guard tells the inmate. "I can't help but want to see what's going on with Tokumatsu's Duel! Please let me see with this!" The inmate says. "Me too!" Another inmate agrees. "Let me see it too!" A third inmate demands. "Let me see it too! I'm begging you!" A fourth inmate begs. As Yuzu was about to continue her move, she see Tokumastu-support inmate gather in front of his cells, behind Yuzu. "They're already at it!" An inmate states. "I've been waiting for this, Tokumatsu!" Another inmate exclaims. "I can't get enough of this!" A third inmate exclaims. "Boss' popularity is something else!" The blue robe inmate comments. "But that unbeatable infinite loop is going to be trouble…" The teal robe inmate notes. "Boss isn't going to draw any cards due to Lightshower's effect!" The blue robe inmate states. "And what about her, then? If she keeps this up, she'll keep drawing until she's out of cards!" He points out. "Are you stupid?! How many more times do you think she can draw!?" The teal robe inmate asks. Having heard them speaks "I end my turn here" Yuzu states. "We have plenty of time until I run out of cards! We've gotten a bigger audience too, so let's have some fun together!" She notes.
"Do you think I have time for that?!" Tokumatsu annoyed. "I'll crush you before that happens!" He vows. He gets into his combative stance "My turn!" Tokumatsu declares. "B-Boss is…" The blue robe inmate shock. "Going to draw!?" The teal robe inmate shock. "So he won't use Lightshower's effect?" Gongenzaka wonders. As he draws cheers from his supporters "Now that I think about it, how many years has it been? Since I've bet my fate on these two fingers about to draw a card…"Tokumatsu wonders, and then smiles. "D-Did Boss smile just now?!" The blue robed inmate notices. "Ever since I cheated my draw that day, I've never been able to draw that card…It was as if I had been abandoned by my cards" Tokumatsu remembers. "Chojiro! Chojiro! Chojiro! Chojiro!" The inmates cheers. "All right, everyone! Keep that up! Let's make this more exciting!" Yuzu encourages them. Crow and Shinji smile "Chojiro! Chojiro!" Tokumatsu's lackeys cheers. "These guys…! They're getting carried away because if this kid…" Tokumatsu thinks. Yuzu turns and chuckles. "You morons!" Tokumatsu get their attentions. "Look at all of you with your eyes shining!" He notes. "No…it's not just them…" Tokumatsu thinks. "Enjoy!" He says as he finally draws. "Shivers!" The inmates yell out. "Here it comes! I active the Spell Card: Super Koi Koi!" Tokumatsu declares. "Here it is!" Crow exclaims. "The Miracle Draw!" Shinji exclaims. "With this card's effect, I am able to draw three cards from my Deck! I'm able to Special Summon all of the "Flower Cardian" monsters I draw! But all non-"Flower Cardian" cards are sent to the Gravyard, and I take 1000 damage for each one!" Tokumatsu explains the effects, and Yuzu smiles. Before he draws, he puts his right foot forward a little "Let's go! I'm betting my fate on this draw!" Tokumatsu announces. "I've been waiting for this!" An inmate cheers. "He's the best in the world!" Another inmate cheers. "Dueling is life itself!" Tokumatsu says. At this point, all of the watching inmates are grinning with anticipation. "You only live once. There are days when you win, and days when you lose! Lose without shame, win with humility! Simply out…Let's Enjoy!" Tokumatsu preach.
"Enjoy!" The inmates, Crow and Shinji chants. Tokumatsu readies his pose to draw the first card "He comes the first!" He declares. "Come on, come on!" The two inmates behind Tokumatsu chants. "Enjoy!" Tokumatu yell out as he draws his first card. "Flower Cardian Clover with Boar!" He declares. The inmates cheers. "Second one!" Tokumatsu announces. "Come on, come on!" The two inmates chants. "Enjoy!" Tokumatu yell out as he draws the second card. "Flower Cardian Maple with Deer!" He declares. "And now, the third one!" Tokumatsu announces. "Come on, come on!" The two inmates chants. "Enjoy!" Tokumatu yell out as he draws the third card. "Flower Cardian Peony with Butterfly!" He declares. "Woah, he got three Flower Cardians!" An inmate exclaims as Tokumatsu Special Summoned all three Flower Cardians (ATK: 1000x3). "As expected of Enjoy Chojiro!" Another inmate exclaims. "How's that? I haven't lost my drawing skills yet!" Tokumatsu states. "And the ATK and DEF of all monsters Special Summoned using Super Koi Koi become 0 and their Level becomes 2!" He explains (Clover with Boar's ATK: 0, LV: 2) (Maple with Deer's ATK: 0, LV: 2) (Peony with Butterfly's ATK: 0, LV: 2). "I Tune My Level 2 Clover with Boar and Maple with Deer with the Level 2 Peony with Butterfly!" Tokumatsu declares. "As ferocious as a boar! As majestic as a deer! As beautiful as a butterfly! Synchro Summon! Level 6! Flower Cardian Boardefly!" He chants (ATK: 2000). "Battle! I attack Aida with Lightshower!" Tokumatsu declares. "Due to Aida's effect, once per turn, it cannot be destroyed in battle!" Yuzu states and a blue barrier protect Aida from Lightshower's attack. "But the effect won't be there the second time!" Tokumatsu points out. "Next, I attack Aida with Boardefly!" He declares. "This card deals piercing damage when it attacks a Defense Position monster!" Tokumatsu explains (Yuzu's LP 200). "Yuzu!" Gongenzaka calls out. "Here I end my turn" Tokumatsu states. "Your LP is at a mere 200. You have no way of winning!" He reminds Yuzu.
"But…You don't plan on letting it end here, do you?!" Tokumatsu anticipates. "Of course not!" Yuzu agrees. Tokumatsu smiles. "The fun has just begun!" Yuzu recites her catchphrase clicking his fingers. "Ladies and Gentlemen!" Yuzu said as she imagines herself in the spotlight. "I will now perform an Entertainment Duel!" She comments. "Will I overcome this pinch and make a great comeback?! Make sure you don't miss a moment of it!" Yuzu asks the audience. The inmates cheers. "My turn!" Yuzu declares and draws Pendulum Storm. "It's here!" She exclaims. "Spell Card: Pendulum Storm!" Yuzu declares. "This card destroys all cards in my Pendulum Zone on activation!" She states, and both Tallis and Dulcet were destroyed. "You're not doing Pendulum Summoning?" The green inmate wonders. "Don't worry! As one curtain falls, it is so another may rise! That's Entertainment Dueling!" Yuzu says. Tokumatsu hears this with a smile. "First off! With Pendulum Storm's effect, I destroy on Spell or Trap card on my opponent's field!" Yuzu explains and Fraud Freeze was destroyed. "Fraud Freeze was…!" The blue robe inmate shocked. "It seems we're saying farewell to that unpleasant binding curse!" Sawatari states. "I, using the Scale 2 Purcell the Melodious Diva and the Scale 4 Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra, Set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuzu declares. "With this, I'm able to simultaneously Summon Level 3 monsters" She states. "All right, the counterattack!" Sawatari cheers. "Pendulum! Pendulum! Pendulum! Pendulum!" The inmates chant, and in solitary confinement Kurosaki hears this. "Swing, Pendulum of my Soul! Draw an arc of light across the aether! Pendulum Summon! Come, my monsters! From my Extra Deck, Tallis the Melodious Diva! (ATK: 800) And Dulcet the Melodious Sorceress!" Yuzu chants (ATK: 1200).
"Battle! I attack Lightshower with Tallis!" Yuzu declares. "Have you lost it?! You're up against a 3000 ATK Lightshower with an 800 ATK…"Tokumatsu notes and Lightshower destroys Tallis. "Oh, what surprising magic!" Yuzu exclaims as Lightshower starts to glow. "This is Tallis' effect!" She states. "The monster that destroys this monster is destroyed!" Yuzu explains and Lightshower was destroyed. "But with the damage from that, it's your loss!" Tokumatsu notes. "I activate Mozarta's Pendulum effect!" Yuzu declares. "Once per turn, I can negate damage taken from battle involving a Pendulum monster!" She explains. "So that's what you went for? Pretty good, aren't you!" Tokumatsu impressed at the strategy. "Next up, I activate Purcell's Pendulum effect!" Yuzu declares. "When a Pendulum Monster on my field is destroyed, I can Special Summon a Pendulum Monster in my Pendulum Zone!" She explains. "Come, Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra!" Yuzu calls out (ATK: 2600). "Battle! Mozarta, attacks Boardefly!" She declares. "I activate the Trap Card: Fraud Check!" Tokumatsu declares. "This turn, "Flower Cardian" monsters cannot be destroyed in battle!" He explains and a barrier surrounds Boardefly as the attack hits. "He avoided it?!" Sawatari shocked. "But he'll still take the damage!" Gongenzaka states. "I activate Mozarta's effect!" Yuzu declares. "When it battles a Level 5 or higher monster, the battle damage is doubled!" She states. "Reaction Echo!" Yuzu yell out (Tokumatsu's LP: 2800). "Additionally I activate the Spell Card: Pendulum Climax" She declares. As Tokumatsu land on his feet "By Releasing a Pendulum Monster on my field…I can equip a monster with the same Level from my opponent's Graveyard to a Pendulum monster that just battled!" Yuzu explains as she sends Dulcet to the Graveyard. "I equip Flower Cardian Cherry Blossom with Curtain to Mozarta!" She declares. "With this, its ATK increases by half of Cherry Blossom with Curtain's!" Yuzu states (Mozarta's ATK: 3600). "An ATK of 3600?" Tokumatsu gasps. "Now, it's time for the finisher!" Yuzu declares. "When Mozarta receives this effect, it can attack once more!" She states, this shocked Tokumatsu. "Now then, let's start the battle!" Yuzu announces. "I attack Boardefly with Mozarta! Elegant Graceful Wave!" She declares, and Mozarta rains down its Elegant Graceful Wave on Boardefly, destroying it. "With Reaction Echo, the damage is double!" Yuzu states. Tokumatsu chuckles as he LP went down (Tokumatsu's LP: 0).
Tokumatsu was slammed to the ground, shocking the inmates behind Yuzu. The two inmates behind Tokumatsu hurry to him "Boss!" The teal robe inmate calls out. "Boss!" The blue robe inmate calls out. He opens his eyes and is smiling "I lost…" Tokumatsu knows. "B-Boss…" The teal robe inmate said. Yuzu then approach Tokumatsu from his left. "That was fun. It's been a while since I've had a Duel like that" Tokumatsu tells Yuzu. "Chojiro! Chojiro! Chojiro!" Tokumatsu hears the inmates chanted his name, which reminded him of how the Commons children looked up to him and chanted his name back then as well. He gets up, surrounded by all the inmates around him "Enjoy!" Tokumatsu bellows out. "Enjoy!" His supporters repeat.
Yuri hears this from another cell, also in solitary confinement. "How is he doing?" Roger asks about Yuri's progress. "He was quite a handful initially, but it seems he's finally calmed down" A prison officer reports. "I see. Then perhaps I should pay him a visit soon…" Roger decides.
