King of Captors - "Goyo King"

"It's a rare card!" The blond guard exclaims. "There's an amazing card here too!" Another guard exclaims. Yuzu, Sawatari and Tokumatsu were crawling towards their freedom in a Facility vent. "Sawatari…Where are Crow and Shinji?" Yuzu asks. "They both went on ahead. But don't worry, my intuition is telling me we head straight forward!" Sawatari informs Yuzu. "Are you sure it's going to be okay?" Yuzu wonders. "We can't turn back now!" She states. "I don't plan on turning back! My followers helped push me this far! They told me to shine again on the big stage!" Tokumatsu says. "Yuzu! If you're resolved to save your friends, then don't look back!" He advises Yuzu. "That's right! If you follow me, nothing will go wrong!" Sawatari states. "Look! Just ahead of us, the world of freedom awaits!" He sees the end of the vent separated by the bars ahead. He breaks out the bars with ease. "You can celebrate later! Hurry up and get out!" Tokumatsu chides Sawatari's time-wasting, pushing him out of the vent.

"Hey! This is the rooftop!" Tokumatsu just notices. Sawatari gets up, and Tokumatsu helps Yuzu down from the vent. "Where are Crow and the others?" Yuzu asks. "There they are, don't let them escape!" A voice said. "Crap, they've found us!" Tokumatsu exclaims as they were spotted by three Security officers, who jump down to surround them. "They're just more guards, with these rare cards-!" Sawatari plans to distract them with the cards he stole "That won't work! These guys are different from the guards you know!" Tokumatsu says. "They're the specialized team in securing escapees! Arrest Corp! They won't take a second look at those rare cards!" He revels. "Come quietly!" The first Arrest Corp tells them, activating his Duel Disk. "Those who resist will be shown no mercy!" The second Arrest Corp states, activating his Duel Disk. "They will be apprehended with brute force!" The third Arrest Corp states, activating his Duel Disk. "Sounds fun! If that's how you want it, I'll be your opponent! I'll take you all on!" Sawatari decides, activating his Duel Disk. "Field Spell: Crossover" Sawatati's Duel Disk declares. "Stop it, Sawatari!" Yuzu tries to talk Sawatari out of it. "We have to hurry up and meet up with Crow and the others!" She says. "Battle Royale Mode: Tag Duel!" Sawatari's Duel Disk announces. "Duel!" Sawatari and the Arrest Corp yell. "I'll start" The first Arrest Corp states. "I Summon Jutte Fighter from my hand!" He declares (ATK: 700). "When there is a Warrior-Type monster on my field, I can Special Summon Fire Flint Lady!" The first Arrest Corp states (ATK: 100). "I Tune my Level 1 Fire Flint Lady to my Level 2 Jutte Fighter!" He declares. "Fear the power of the law! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 3! Goyo Defender!" The first Arrest Corp chants (ATK: 1000). "When there is a Goyo Defender on the field, I can Special Summon all the Goyo Defenders from my Extra Deck!" He explains as he Summons two more of them (ATK: 1000x2). "Three at once?!" Yuzu shocked at the quick swarm. "This is the special recapture team! They're way different than those pushover guards!" Tokumatsu states. "I end my turn here" The first Arrest Corp states. "Now…Submit to the rope of the law!" the Arrest Corp tells them as they and the Goyo Defenders starts closing in on Yuzu, Tokumatsu and Sawatari.

"This is getting even more interesting! The power of the law versus my own! Let's see which is stronger!" Sawatari goads the Arrest Corp marching closer. "Sawatari!" Yuzu calls out. "My turn! Draw!" Sawatari declares, and drew Abyss Actor-Sassy Rookie. "I Summon Abyss Actor-Sassy Rookie from my hand!" He states (ATK: 1700). "Battle! I attack Goyo Defender with Sassy Rookie!" Sawatari declares. "When Goyo Defender is attacked, its ATK is equal to the number of Goyo Defenders on the field times 1000!" The first Arrest Corp explains. "What?!" Sawatari shocked. "Right now there are three Goyo Defender on the field. So its ATK is 3000!" The first Arrest Corp states (Goyo Defender's ATK: 3000). "So your monster is going to be destroyed!" He declares. "What?!" Sawatari shocked. "But, once per turn, Sassy Rookie can negate its destruction!" He explains. "But you still take the damage!" The first Arrest Corp states, as Sassy Rookie's attack was blocked and it was sent crashing onto Sawatari. "Are you okay Sawatari!?" Yuzu cries out. "Damn it! Screw the power of the law! I'll tell my father on you and get you fired!" Sawatari says (Sawatari's LP: 2700). "Quit spouting nonsense!" Yuzu, getting impatient, tells Sawatari. "We should run away now!" Tokumtsu, who was also, getting impatient, tells Sawatari. "Damn it…I end my turn!" Sawatari complains and starts running. "We won't let you escape! My turn!" The second Arrest Corp declares and draws. "When there is a Goyo Defender on the field, I can Special Summon Goyo Defenders from my Extra Deck!" He states and Summons three Goyo Defenders (ATK: 1000x3). "Three more again!" Yuzu exclaims. "You're too slow, you two!" Sawatari, who by that point was already halfway up the ladder that Tokumatsu and Yuzu were still approaching, tells them. "I don't want to hear that from you!" Tokumatsu tells him. "Goyo Defenders Special Summon this turn cannot attack" The second Arrest Corp explains. "I end my turn here" He states. By then, Sawatari had already finished climbing the ladder "It's no use! There's nowhere else to run!" Sawatari said, looking down from the top of the Facility. "Jump, Sawatari! That's the only choice we have to shake them off!" Yuzu, who was climbing the ladder herself, tells Sawatari. "F-F-From here?! N-No…that's-!" Sawatari scares due to the height. "You spineless little-! We're going!" Tokumatsu grabs Sawatari and jumps down from the top. "Idiot!" Sawatari screams.

"My turn!" Yuzu, also jumping from the top, decides to join the duel. "Intrusion Penalty: 2000 points" Yuzu's Duel Disk announces (Yuzu's LP: 2000). "I Summon Partita the Melodious Diva from my hand!" Yuzu declares (ATK: 300). "I'm counting on you, Partita!" She states as it sprints down to the ground faster than Tokumatsu and Sawatari can fall, and rebounds them with its rings on its back. Tokumatsu grabs the railings and lands on his feet, putting Sawatari out of his grasps. Yuzu then backflips off Partita, landing next to Tokumatsu and Sawatari. "Nice call! Clever as always, Yuzu!" Tokumatsu applauds Yuzu's decision-making. "That means my idea to climb up top wasn't wrong either, then!" Sawatari boast again. "Here they come!" Tokumatsu exclaims as two Arrest Corp land in front of them. "Run for it!" Sawatari yells and they ran for it. "I set one card and end my turn!" Yuzu states.

"My turn" The third Arrest Corp intercepts the on-the-run trio. "Because a Goyo Defender is on the field, I can Special Summon 3 Goyo Defenders from my Extra Deck!" He states (ATK: 1000x3). The three escapees enter a tunnel underneath the Facility as the Arrest Corp and their Goyo Defenders chase. "Goyo Defenders Summoned this turn cannot attack! But I Summon Jutte Fighter from my hand!" The third Arrest Corp states (ATK: 700). "I Tune my two Level 3 Goyo Defenders with my Level 2 Jutte Fighter!" He declares. "Kneel before the power of the law! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Goyo King!" The third Arrest Corp chants (ATK: 2800). By then, the three Arrest Corp were chasing the escapees at once. "When Goyo King battles, its ATK is increase by 400 per "Goyo" monster on the field!" The third Arrest Corp declares (ATK: 6000). "Battle! I attack Partita with Goyo King!" He declares. "Trap Activate: Musical Twirl!" Yuzu responds. "I change Partita to Defense Position!" She states (DEF: 300), it was then destroyed. "Don't think you've gotten away! Goyo King's monster effect!" The third Arrest Corp declares "When it destroys an opponent's monster, it can take control of a monster on my opponent's field!" He states as Goyo King captures Sassy Rookie. "What?!" Sawatari shocked. "I make a direct attack with the Sassy Rookie I just captured!" The third Arrest Corp declares. It was thrown towards Yuzu (Yuzu's LP: 300). "I end my turn! And now Goyo's King's ATK returns to normal!" He states (Goyo King's ATK: 2800). "Damn it! Now you're going and using my own monster!" Sawatari annoyed. "Now that it comes to this, I'll-!" Tokumatsu decides to join the duel. "You can't old man! You're Enjoy Dueling won't do a thing against-" Sawatari tries to discourage him.

"Shut up! As a man I can't stand by and let my friends get hurt" Tokumatsu tells Sawatari as they clear the tunnel and find themselves in a part of the Facility surrounded by tunnels. "That's right! To step down in a time of need is a shame on one's bravery!" Gongenzaka appears and agrees with Tokumatsu regarding his assertion. "Gongenzaka!" Yuzu exclaims. Yuzu stops running just as she see Gongenzaka readying his Duel Disk to take on the Arrest Corp "Leave this to me, the man, Gongenzaka!" Gongenzaka states and draws. "Intrusion Penalty: 2000 points!" Gongenzaka's Duel Disk announces (Gongenzaka's LP: 2000). "I Summon from my hand Superheavy Samurai Magnet!" Gongenzaka declares (ATK: 900). "When this card is successfully Summoned, I can Special Summon another Magnet from my hand!" He explains (ATK: 900). "As long as Magnet is here, my opponent cannot attack any other monster! But when there are two of them, you cannot attack either of them!" Gongenzaka states. "Isn't that invincible then?!" Tokumatsu notes. "What's invincible about it?! It is powerless before the might of the law!" The third Arrest Corp laughs. "What?!" Gongenzaka shocked. "Goyo King's monster effect!" The third Arrest Corp declares. "On the turn when a monster is Normal or Special Summoned to my opponent's field, By Releasing one "Goyo" monster, I gain control of one monster under Level 8!" He explains as he Releases one Goyo Defender and takes control of one Magnet. "I'll take the other as well!" The third Arrest Corp decalres as he Releases another Goyo Defender and take control of the second Magnet. "Both of them…" Yuzu gasps. "Now that it's come to this, I can't…Sorry, Yuzu, I end my turn" Gongenzaka admits. "I really should-!" Tokumatsu impatiently tries to enter the duel himself. "I told you, you can't old man!" Sawatari interrupts him again.

"My turn!" Kurosaki jumps down from the higher level of the Facility. "Intrusion Penalty: 2000 points!" Kurosaki's Duel Disk announce (Kurosaki's LP: 2000). "Kurosaki!" Yuzu exclaims as he lands in front of them. "I activate the Quick-Play Spell: Raidraptor – Rig!" Kurosaki declares. "Until the end of my turn all monster if the Level I choose become Winged-Beast-Type!" He explains. "I choose Level 4!" Kurosaki declares. "Level 4 means…My Sassy Rookie…" Sawatari realizes. "and my Magnets will be…Winged-Beast?!" Gongenzaka realizes. "Furthermore I activate the Spell Card: Xyz Rescue!" Kurosaki declares. "I can perform an Xyz Summon with monsters stolen by my enemy!" He states. "I Overlay the Two Level Four Magnets and Sassy Rookie!" Kurosaki declares. "Obscured falcon, Raise your claws sharpened by adversity! Spread your wings of rebellion! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank Four! Raidraptor - Rise Falcon!" He chants (ATK: 100). "An ATK of 100? What can you do with that monster?" The first Arrest Corp notes. "Goyo King has the ability to take control of ant monster under Level 8!" The third Arrest Corp states. "Xyz monsters do not possess Levels. Therefore you cannot capture them" Kurosaki simply says. "What?! Them not having Levels doesn't make their Level 0!?" One of the Arrest Corp expresses his shock. "Rise Falcon's monster effect!" Kurosaki declares. "By using one Overlay Unit, it gains ATK equal to the total ATK of all of my opponent's Special Summoned monsters!" He explains (Rise Falcon's ATK: 7900). "Battle! Raidraptor - Rise Falcon! Rend and tear all of our enemies! Brave Claw Revolution!" Kurosaki declares, Rise Falcon subsequently smashes through Goyo King and the remaining Goyo Defenders all at once; the resulting flame blows through the tunnel in which the Arrest Corp had chased Yuzu, Tokumatsu and Sawatari. The Arrest Corp were knocked back through the tunnel, passing out at the other side (Arrest Corp's LP: 0x3).

"He's one of Yuzu's friends, too?" Tokumatsu, having seen Kurosaki for the first time, asks. "You're amazing!" He said. Behind them "Well done! Merciless as always!" Dennis, who is sitting on the railing from higher up, complains, before leaping down to join Yuzu and the others. "Dennis!" Yuzu exclaims. "Where's Yuri?" Gongenzaka asks. "Of course I've already save him. He's already met up with Crow and the others by now" Dennis says. "Come on, you guys better hurry too!" He ushers all of them to where the other escapees were waiting: at a larger tunnel even further underneath the Facility. "Yuzu…To think you would come too…" Crow surprised. "Yuya…"It's to save my friends! I won't hesitate anymore!" Yuzu says. "We feel the same. We have to get away for the sake of all of our friends we couldn't save before" Shinji says. "If we Commons want turn this society on its head…We have to start off by breaking out of this concentration camp!" He speaks on behalf of all Commons. "If everything went as planned they should be showing up soon" Damon states. "That's it!" He notices their escort's arrival, which he sees as something sparkling in the distance beyond the bay separating the Facility from the rest of the Commons. "Let's jump in! If we make to the other bank, we're scott free!" Shinji exclaims, and jumps into the water and decide to swim across to freedom, and then the others follow him with Yuzu the last on to jump into the water. "Wait for me, Yuya…I'm coming for you now!" Yuzu decides to follow them, knowing that she'll get closer to Yuya. Just then, Security officers shine bright lights onto the bay, stopping Yuzu, Crow and Yuri from swimming any further. The officers reveal someone they captured "Shinji… Damon… I'm sorry!" He apologizes for blowing their cover. Shinji gasps as he recognizes his comrades. "Tony!" Damon gasps.

Then, "Oh, what's this? I heard there was supposed to be a Duel Tournament at the concentration camp tonight but… Was it actually a swimming tournament instead?" Another voice remarks. "H-he's-!" Crow gasps. "Pardon my late introduction, I am the man responsible for upholding the peace in City. I am the Public Security Chief, Jean-Michel Roger. I'm glad I could finally meet all of you" Roger introduces himself to the escapees. The escapees were picked out of the bay, cuffed, and thrown back into a Security van; Yuzu was forced to sit opposite Crow, Shinji and Tokumatsu. Damn it! Now I won't be able to see the kids…." Crow worries about the orphans. "Don't give up! We'll have another chance!" Shinji says. "Yuya…" Yuzu whispers. Outside, "Let me go! Where do you plan on taking me!?" Yuri yells in his struggle against two officers restraining his arms as Roger meets him face-to-face. "Don't worry. No harm will befall you. For you, that is…" Roger tells him, just as a helicopter hovers down from above. Two white-suited men disembark "The Executive Council will be taking custody of them. Please hand them over right away" The first white-suited man orders Roger. "This is the will of the Executive Council. You of Public Security have a duty to obey" The second white-suited man informs Roger. "Please wait! They are guilty of inciting disorder among Commons. They are dangerous individuals who have wreaked havoc in the City! We of Security have the right to thoroughly investig-!" Roger protest, but before he can finish, the Executive Council appear before Roger as holographic projections. "We will determine if they are dangerous individuals or not" The councillor wearing yellow says. "Bring them to us this instant" The female councillor wearing blue tells Roger. "This is an order" The councillor wearing grey states. "Correct, Chairman?" The councillor wearing red asks the one in white. "Yes, that is the current situation. If you would kindly" The Chairman said. Roger grunts.

Later on "I will say this once more, They have been inciting other Commons and plan to cause a disturbance in the City!" Roger addresses the Executive Council at their hall. "This is made clear from testaments from my subordinates who have captured them!" He points at all eleven of the captured to his right, saying. "Yeah right! We don't know any plans like that! And we just happened to break out of jail!" Sawatari denies. "Besides what was our crime to begin with?!" He asks. "Resisting the authority of Security. That alone is a valid crime" Roger says. "You're the ones who attacked us first though, weren't you!? You surrounded us with your Security the instant we came to this dimension…!" Yuzu retorts. "Dimension?" Roger narrows his eyes, the turns towards the Administrative Board "Did you hear that?" He asks. "Just now she said "we came to this dimension"! What could this mean?" Roger wonders. "Dimension? What's that about?" Tokumatsu asks. "If we take what she says literally…That means they have come from a different dimension. Then that explains why they wield a plethora of Summoning skills that do not exist in our world!" Roger says. "Fusion," He notes, causing Yuri to grunt. "Xyz," Roger notes, causing Kurosaki to grunt. "and Pendulum" Roger notes, causing Yuzu to grunt. "Just what is the objective of these who use these unknown Summoning methods?" Roger wonders. "In order to discover it, I ordered Security to capture them!" He states. "From a different dimension!? Is that true, Yuzu?" Tokumatsu asks. "Yeah, we came from a different dimension…A dimension called Standard!" Yuzu confirms. "But please believe me, we didn't come here to cause a disturbance in the Synchro Dimension!" She tries to plead with the Synchro Dimension natives.

"Yes" A voice agrees with Yuzu as the door to the hall opens; three figures appear behind it, revealing themselves as Reiji, Reira and Tsukikage. "Our objective is not to cause a disturbance" Reiji states. "Reiji Akaba!" Sawatari exclaims. "Reira too!" Yuzu exclaims. "So you were safe…" Yuri just asks to confirm. While walking down the stairs with Reira and Tsukikage to meet Roger directly "We Lancers are here to protect this Synchro Dimension from the invasion of Academia, and join hands in order to win the upcoming Dimensional War!" Reiji mentions. "Lancers?" Crow mutters with amusement. "Lance Defense Soldiers! To tell you the truth, we're actually specialized Duel Warriors trained to fight off Academia" Sawatari says. Roger laughs "What's so funny?!" Sawatari not pleased. "Oh, pardon me…But a Dimensional War? I was wondering what nonsense you would spout…" Roger clarifies. "It's the truth! Listen up, you may not believe me, but this world is-" Sawatari tries to reason with Roger again. "That's enough. We've already heard about the rest from Reiji Akaba" The councillor wearing yellow interrupt him. "About the Dimensional War" The councillor wearing grey states. "And about the Lancers as well" The female councillor wearing blue states. "Correct, Chairman?" The councillor wearing red asks. "Yes, we've heard all of it" The Chairman confirms. "What? And here your truly was going to explain-" Sawatari said.

"You already heard? Does that mean that the Administrative Board believes this story? This nonsense!" Roger not pleased that the Executive Council heard about, and bought into, Reiji's nonsense. "We haven't confirmed whether it is nonsense or not" The councillor wearing yellow said. "Since there are currently people who have come from another dimension" The councillor wearing grey said. "And didn't you capture them because you believe they were from a different dimension? Weren't you thinking of investigating their objectives?" Councillor Azul, the one wearing blue, notes. Roger grits his teeth "Their objective…Isn't it simply to invade our dimension?" He said. "Wha-!?" Yuzu shocked. "How could you say something that stupid!?" Sawatari annoyed. "THAT is nonsense!" Gongenzaka denies. "We aren't invaders!" Yuzu exclaims. "The invaders are Academia! We came here to protect this dimension! Reiji Akaba just said so!" Sawatari says. "Protecting is the job of Security. It is not yours" Roger says, which elicits another grunt from Yuzu. "Whatever you all may be Security will-" Roger says. "No. We shall decide" Gael interrupts, saying.

"That is why we brought all of you here before the Executive Council " Councillor Gray agrees, says. "All of us?! Are you suspicious of me too!? I was in the concentration camp for the last ten years!" Tokumatsu complains. "There are no exceptions" Azul sternly says. "You're kidding me!" Tokumatsu shocked. "If you claim to be our allies, then we would like for you to prove it" Councillor Bordeaux, the one in red, challenges the Lancers. "Prove?! How?!" Yuzu asks. "Participate in the Friendship Cup" Reiji clarifies. "Friendship Cup?" Yuzu asks. "That is the will of the Administrative Board. Lancers shall participate in the Friendship Cup, to prove their skill as Duel Warriors" Reiji states. Yuzu, Sawatari, Gongenzaka, Kurosaki, Yuri and Dennis display contrasting reactions to this. "Y-you don't mean us too?" Tokumatsu wonders if the Commons that were captured are involved as well. "There are no exceptions" Azul simply repeats what she said earlier. "I-I'm going to be in the City's greatest Duel Tournament, that I've only heard rumors off too?!" Tokumatsu realizes. "I personally would like you to enter as well! Because Tokumatsu Chojiro was the reason we started we started the Friendship Cup after all" Chairman White Taki says. "I was the reason?" Tokumatsu asks. "10 years ago, in response to you being arrested, many youngsters in Commons rioted. Duel Chasers as the organization formed to crack down on them. But instead of reducing the amount of incidents, it only made the rioting worse. And from that spawned the idea of a Duel Tournament to reconcile the relationship between the Tops and Commons. The Friendship Cup. Then the Champion would be the mutual King of both Tops and Commons. Just as Jack Atlas is right now" White Taki explains.

"Mutual King?! I won't be playing in this tournament! I don't want to be an attraction for the Tops!" Crow speaks up, refusing to take part. "Crow…" Yuzu whispers. "I understand how you feel, but if you participate, then you can show Frank and the others you're all right" Shinji says. Crow clicked his teeth. "All right! Now I can fulfil my promise with my followers!" Tokumatsu vows. "All right Yuzu, let's get the audience of this Synchro Dimension to cheer for our Entertainment Dueling!" Sawatari says. "More importantly, we have to get to Yuya…!" Yuzu said. "Oh? So Yuya Sakaki was one of your comrades, then?" Roger intervenes, asks. "You…! Don't tell me you have Yuya!" Yuzu shocked at what Roger implies. "We haven't captured him. Because he is a valuable Duelist who will be participating in the Friendship Cup" Roger tells Yuzu. "Yuya will be in the Friendship Cup?!" Yuzu was shocked the most out of all the Lancers. Roger smirks "If you're that worried about him, you should show him as soon as possible that you're safe as well" He dares Yuzu. "Huh?" Yuzu confuses. Roger turns to the Executive Council "Very well. I agree that we should allow them to participate in the Friendship Cup" He approves. "But allow me to make one proposal" Roger states. "Proposal?" Gaul asks. "What is it?" Grey asks. "Every year, we have an Exhibition Match with the current King during the opening festivities" Roger mentions. "How does this sound, having her fill the role as the King's opponent?" He proposes, pointing to Yuzu. "Me!?" Yuzu taken by surprise. "Why her?" Azul asks. "From what I have seen, she is the most versed in the intriguing Summoning method, Pendulum" Roger mentions. "So we should have those skills be ascertained by the King himself!" He states. "I see…" Bordeaux understands. "Is this fine with you, Chairman?" He asks. "Yes, that will be just fine" White Taki agrees. "And for you" He asks Reiji. "Of course, I have no complaints" Reiji says. He locked his eyes with Roger and White Taki one last time.
