The Dashing Performers
"Shinji! Shinji! Shinji!" The crowd cheers Shinji's name after his victory against Tsukikage. "Sheesh, and we just had the crowd united from the first match too…" Melissa left bewildered by what happened during the duel. Jack just sits on his throne and looks down. Melissa gets up "Now then everyone, I'm going to be announcing the next match!" She announces. "First off, we have this man! Chojiro Tokumatsu!" Melissa announces, as he stadium track on a D-Wheel for the first time "Dueling while riding something like this…Dueling just keeps on changing, doesn't it…" Tokumatsu acknowledged. As Yuzu watches from a waiting room "I wonder if the people in our audience remembers? It's been a whole 10 years since his return! This man is Enjoy Choujirou!" Melissa comments. "Tokumatsu…" Yuzu said. Tokumatsu stops at the starting line "Sorry for the wait! Enjoy Choujirou has just returned!" He acknowledges the crowd. The crowd gave a loud cheer. "Thanks, Yuzu…For helping me remember how to enjoy Dueling, and thanks to my comrades who put their lives in the line to get me out of jail. I'll make sure to win this!" Tokumatsu think to himself.
"And facing is him is the distinctive male duelist… Yuya Sakaki!" Melissa announces. "Yuya!" Yuzu expresses her shock. "Woah! He got to play before me?!" Rin shocked. "Yuya!" Dennis whistles. "It's not me again!?" Sawatari unpleased. "Good luck, Yuya! Everyone's got their eyes on you!" Melissa said as Yuya lines up on the starting line. "Yuzu…" Yuya thinks. "No way…Yuya and Tokumatsu are…" Yuzu unable to comprehend.
Yuzu bangs on her door "Please! Let me out of here!" Yuzu demands , but nobody responds; the tournament is still being broadcast on the screen "As a young women, I'm cheering for the Yuya to do his best!" Melissa voices her own opinion. Yuzu walks back to the screen "No matter who loses, ine of my precious comrades will be…sent underground to the forced labor facility!" Yuzu unhappy. "No matter how many times I run it through my mind, I can't see any way for me to lose. A boy as charming as him to the underground…" Tokumatsu thinks. "I'm sorry, young lad" He makes a gesture with his right hand towards Yuya. "O-Okay…?" Yuya puzzles. "What is apologizing for?" He wonders.
"Now the, Action Field: On! Field Spell: Crossover Acceleration!" Melissa declares. A yellow pulse spreads across the sky, and the Action Cards scatter. "Duel Mode, Autopilot: Standby" Both D-Wheels declares. The holographic starting board appears in front of the duelists and counts down. "Riding Duel…Acceleration!" as the count went down to zero, and both duelists went off with Yuya appears to struggle with the initial acceleration, and swerves. "DUEL!" Both duelists yell out. "Is he going to be okay?!" Rin, with a face-palm expression, wonders. After gaining control of his balance "S…scary…Rin said it's rare to crash a D-Wheel,but…" Yuya thinks. "And the first to make it through the first corner and play first is Enjoy Choujirou, Tokumatsu!" Melissa comments as Tokumastu clears the first corner. "I'm sorry…" Tokumatsu said. "My turn! I Summon Flower Cardian Pine from my hand!" He declares (ATK: 100). "I activate the effect the effect of Flower Cardian Pine with Crane from my hand!" Tokumatsu states. "I can Release Pine and Special Summon it!" He explains (ATK: 2000). "When this card is Special Summoned, I can draw one card!" Tokumatsu explains. He drew Fraud Freeze "If the drawn card is not a "Flower Cardian" monster, it is sent to the Graveyard!" Tokumatsu explains. "I end my turn here!" He declares. "Now then, let's keep our eyes on Yuya's turn!" Melissa expresses her anticipation.
"I want to tell Yuzu…That I'm doing fine!" Yuya hopes that Yuzu was watching him from somewhere. "My turn!" Yuya declares and draws. "When only my opponent controls a monster, I can Special Summon Performapal Odd-Eyes Solitary Minstrel!" He states (ATK: 1600). "Next, I Summon Performapal Trill Artist from my hand!" Yuzu declares. "This card cannot attack the turn it is Summoned!" He explains (ATK: 2300). "Oh! What is going on here? His Special Summoned Solitary Minstrel's ATK is below that of Tokumatsu's Pine with Crane, and his higher ATK Trill Artist cannot attack this turn!" Melissa notes. "I activate the Continuous Spell: Theatrically!" Yuya responds. "Once per turn, I can increase the ATK of a "Odd-Eyes" monster by 600 until my next turn!" He explains. "I increase Performapal Odd-Eyes Solitary Minstrel's ATK!" Yuya declares (SolitaryMinstrel's ATK: 2200). "Battle! I attack Pine with Crane with Performapal Odd-Eyes Solitary Minstrel!" He declares and Pine with Crane was destroyed (Tokumastu's LP: 3800). "Yuya has taken first blood against Tokumastu!" Melissa commentates. "Yuya…" Yuzu whisper as she watches in her room. "Don't get them all excited before I do!" Sawatari complains as he watches in his room. "I end my turn her!" Yuya announces.
Before Tokumatu start his turn "You're pretty good, but…I'm sorry!" He makes the same gesture with his right hand again and asks for forgiveness. "H-He's apologizing again?! It's starting to scare me…" Yuya express his surprise out loud. "My turn!" Tokumatsu declares and draws. "I active the Spell Card: Recardination!" He declares. "This cards effect allows me to Special Summon a "Flower Cardian" monster from my Graveyard!" Tokumatsu explains. "Come, Flower Cardian Pine with Crane!" He calls out (ATK: 2000). "Next I activate the Spell Card: Sneaky Sleeve from my hand!" Tokumatsu declares. "With this effect, I can make a "Flower Cardian" monster Level 2, (Pine with Crane's LV: 2) and I can draw one card from my Deck!" He explains. "If I draw the right card, it's a sign of the complete revival of Enjoy Choujirou!" Tokumatsu thinks before he draws. "Enjoy!" He shouts as he draws: it is that card. "I'm sorry!" Tokumatsu pleads for forgiveness again. "What's with this guy!?" Yuya recovers from his confused response to Tokumatsu's pleas. "I active the Spell Card: Super Koi Koi!" Tokumatsu declares. "This is…!" Sawatari reacts. "Tokumatsu's sure-win pattern!" Dennis reacts. "Yuya…" Yuzu worried. "I draw three cards from my Deck, and if there are any "Flower Cardian" monsters, I can Special Summon all of them!" Tokumatsu explains. "Huh?!" Yuya gasps. "But if there are any non-"Flower Cardian" cards among them, they're sent to the Graveyard and I take 1000 damage per card!" Tokumatsu explains. "First one!" He snaps his fingers. "Come on, come on!" Tokumatsu chants to himself as he draws. "Flower Cardian Zebra Grass with Moon!" He reveals, the audience gasps. "The second!" Tokumatsu declares. "Come on, come on!" He chants to himself as he draws. "Flower Cardian Paulownia with Phoenix!" Tokumastu reveals, and the audience gasps again. "And the third!" Tokumatsu declares. "Come on, come on!" He chants to himself as he draws. "Flower Cardian Willow with Calligrapher!" Tokumastu reveals. "All three of them were Flower Cardian!?" Melissa gasps. The audience now cheer at Tokumatsu's incredible stroke of luck. "Celebrate! Enjoy Choujirou has now made his complete revival!" Tokumatsu responds. "All monsters Special Summoned using this effect's ATK and DEF become 0 and their Level 2!" He declares (Zebra Grass with Moon's ATK: 0, LV: 2) (Paulownia with Phoenix's ATK: 0, LV: 2) (Willow with Calligrapher's ATK: 0, LV: 2).
"I Tune my Level 2 Flower Cardian Pine with Crane, Zebra Grass with Moon, Paulownia with Phoenix with the Level 2 Tuner Willow with Calligrapher!" Tokumatsu declares. "Rain down! Become light and pour down! Synchro Summon! Flower Cardian Lightshower!" He chants (ATK: 3000). This draws another cheer from the crowd. "Battle! I attack Performapal Odd-Eyes Solitary Minstrel with Lightshower!" Tokumatsu declares. "I won't lose! I won't…" Yuya determined. As Yuya braces for the residual damage from the attack "An Action Card!" He notices an Action Card ahead of him, and grabs it while keeping balance. "Action Spell: Flight!" Yuya declares. "It increases an attacked monster's ATK by 600 until the end of the Battle Phase!" He explains as Solitary Minstrel leaps up to avoid the attack (Solitary Minstrel's ATK: 2800). Tokumatsu was impressed. "Even with Flight, Yuya is one step short!" Melissa notes. "I'm not done yet!" Yuya declares, and he makes a manoeuvre to bank on the side of the track before launching into the air to grab another Action Card. "What?!" Tokumatsu shocked, and Yuya grabs the Action Card. "Those were some amazing acrobatics!" Melissa commentates her shock at the act. "You can do it!" Rin cheers. "Action Spell: Flight!" Yuya declares as he lands his D-Wheel upright, back on the ground. "I increase its ATK by another 600!" He states (Solitary Minstrel's ATK: 3400). "Yuya's monster's ATK has surpassed Lightshower!" Melissa notes. Tokumatsu reacts by taking the first Action Card he sees. Solitary Minstrel then counter attacks "Action Spell: Miracle!" Tokumatsu declares. "My monster is not destroyed in battle and I take half damage!" He explains as Lightshower blocks the attack with its umbrella (Tokumatsu's LP: 3600).
Tokumatsu rides up alongside a valiant Yuya "You're doing good, Young lad! This is a thrilling Duel!" Tokumatsu said. "I won't lose, I definitely won't lose!" Yuya states with determination in his eyes. "It's seems you're not only worrying about winning or losing…" Tokumatsu notes. "Huh?" Yuya confuse. "But young lad… Lightshower deals 1500 damage to my opponent when they draw!" Tokumatsu reminds Yuya of Flower Cardian Lightshower's other effect as he accelerates away. "Sorry! I end my turn here!" He proceeds. "Yuya is going to take an unavoidable 1500 damage on his next turn!" Melissa commentates on the situation. "I won't waver in this Duel! I won't show any weakness!" Yuya states as he gets ready to draw. "My turn!" He declares and draws. "He drew without any hesitation!" Melissa compliments Yuya's non-hesitation. "I activate Lightshower's effect!" Tokumatsu declares and Lightshower throws its umbrella up in the air and Yuya was hit with a light shower (Yuya's LP: 2500). "It seems like you have a reason for having such a tough will" Tokumatsu impressed and curious at Yuya's determination. "There's something I want to tell someone…My feelings…" Yuya said. Tokumatsu looks at Yuya. As his bracelet wavers in the wind "That person might be depressed and blaming themselves right now…That's why I want to remind them…" Yuya says. The subject in question is appearing to be watching the duel at her room with her eyes shaded "That they're not alone, by doing my best!" Yuya says. "We're just getting started! The fun has just begun!" He says, addresses the subject on broadcast, without stating her name. Yuzu gets up with a gasp. "The fun has just begun…?" Tokumatsu remembers the saying.

"Young lad…The person you want to tell that to, could it be…" Tokumatsu shocked to realize who Yuya was talking about...
"I Release Performapal Trill Artist and Performapal Solitary Minstrel and Advance Summon…!" Yuya declares. He then lifts his hands up "Everyone your attention pleases! Following those two, our next brilliant performer is…! Odd-Eyes Dragon!" Yuya announces (ATK: 2500). Putting his hands back on his D-Wheel "I activate the Spell Card: Odd-Eyes Summoning!" Yuya declares. "Since I control an Odd-Eyes, I can Special Summon an Level 4 or lower "Odd-Eyes" monster from my hand!" He explains. "You're on! I Special Summon Performapal Odd-Eyes Rhyme!" Yuya declares (ATK: 1600). "Oh, this is just like…" Dennis notices what Yuya's doing. "Don't go doing Entertainment Dueling before me!" Sawatari gets jealous. "We're not done yet!" Yuya states. "With the Continuous Spell: Theatrically, I increase the ATK of Odd-Eyes by 600!" He declares (Odd-Eye's ATK: 3100). Odd-Eye's scales glows spectacularly "And now Odd-Eyes, who just came on the stage is adorned in enchanting scales!" Yuya states. "Next I activate the Spell Card: Odd-Eyes Draw!" Yuya declares. "Now for each "Odd-Eyes" monster I control, I get to draw two cards!" He explains. "Equip Spell: Odd-Eyes Force and equipped it to my Odd-Eyes Dragon!" Yuya declares. "Now, for each monster I control beside Odd-Eyes Dragon, Odd-Eyes gains 100 ATK, but it's effects are negated!" He explains (Odd-Eyes' ATK: 3200) "Instead of a Duel this seems more like a magic show or a festival" A supporter states. "Looking good!" Another supporter cheers. "The audience is cheering even more now!" Melissa impressed. "Go for it! Yuya!" She roots for him.
With a smile on his face "Battle! I attack Lightshower with Odd-Eyes!" Yuya declares. "Go! Burning! Hot-Blooded!" He throws in Shuzo's lines for added measures. "Burning…Hot-Blooded…" Yuzu, watching this, mulls over those words and tries to remember. "I don't think so! We having Enjoyed enough!" Tokumatsu reacts by dangerously standing on the seat of his D-Wheel and jumping to grab an Action Card. The audience is left shocked. "Spiral Flame!" Yuya declares and Odd-Eyes attacks. Tokumatsu grabs the Action Card and lands back on his D-Wheel "Action Spell: Evasion!" He declares. "I negate a monster's attack!" Tokumatsu explains and both he and Lightshower dodge the attack. "Tokumatsu dodged it!" Melissa commentates. "Pretty good, Young lad! You're Entertainment Dueling, that is!" Tokumatsu impressed. "Huh?" Yuya surprised. "This person knows about Entertainment Dueling?" He wonders where he heard that from. "But sorry, your Odd-Eyes' attack didn't amount to anything! So, what will you do next?!" Tokumatsu wonders. "I activate Performapal Odd-Eyes Rhyme's effect!" Yuya responds. "Once per turn, it I haven't dealt damage to my opponent in battle, I can deal 800 points of damage!" He explains. "Vibrate Thrill!" Yuya declares (Tokumatsu's LP: 2800). "How was that? Gave you the shivers, right?" Yuya reels off Futoshi lines and imitates his hand gestures; this draws some laughs from the crowd.
"Yuzu, you're watching, right?" Yuya hopes. Yuzu, who was still watching, gasps. "You're not alone!" Yuya hope Yuzu can understand that she's not alone and Yuzu appears to recall some more of her memories. "The fun isn't over yet! I active the Equip Spell: Thrilling Horn from my hand! And equip it to Odd-Eyes!" Yuya declares. "With the, any effect damage is negated, and instead increases the equipped monster's ATK by that amount!" He explains. "Wh-what?!" Tokumatsu shock. "Well done! He's sealed the damage dealt by Lightshower's effect!" Dennis impressed. "I end my turn here!" Yuya winds his turn down. Tokumatsu looks at Yuya and then smiles "My turn!" He declares and draws Super All In and smiles. "Spell Card: Super All In!" Tokumatsu declares. "With this card's effect, I return Lightshower to my Extra Deck!" He explains and Lightshower disintegrated. "My Enjoying isn't over yet either!" Tokumastu states. "All of the Synchro Materials used for Lightshower that were sent to my Graveyard are Special Summoed as Level 2!" He explains. "Huh!?" Yuya gasps. "Come! Pine with Crane, Zebra Grass with Moon, Paulownia with Phoenix and Willow with Calligrapher!" Tokumatsu calls out (ATK: 2000x4) (LV: 2x4). "And I can draw one card, and if it's a "Flower Cardian" monster, it can be Special Summoned as a Level 2! But, if the card I draw is not a "Flower Cardian" monster, all monsters on my field are destroyed and my LP will be halved!" He explains. "Tokumatsu, on top of returning Lightshower, is betting all the monsters on his field and half on one draw!" Melissa notes the risky gambit arising from Super All-In's effect. "Here we go, young lad!" Tokumatsu tells Yuya and gets ready to draw. "Watch Yuzu! I'll make this exciting too! This Entertainment Dueling!" He thinks. "Enjoy!" Tokumastu shouts as he draws, and when he reveals the card he draws "I'm sorry, young lad!" Tokumatsu apologizes to Yuya again. "Huh!?" Yuya gasps. "The card I drew was Flower Cardian Cherry Blossom with Curtain!" Tokumatsu reveals. Cherry Blossom with Curtain makes it a straight flush of Flower Cardian monsters on Tokumatsu's field (ATK: 2000) (LV: 2).
"Five Level 2 Flower Cardian Monsters…!" Yuzu on alert; knowing that a possible Level 10 Synchro Monster is on the way. "Here we go, here we go! Let's make this exciting! I Tune my Level 2 Flower Cardian Cherry Blossom with Curtain, Pine with Crane, Zebra Grass with Moon, Paulownia with Phoenix with the Level 2 Tuner Willow with Calligrapher!" Tokumatsu declares. "Your godliness brings forth holy light! Shine alone with the light of Heaven, Earth, Water, Land and Metal! Synchro Summon! Flower Cardian Lightflare!" He chants (ATK: 5000). "5000 ATK!?" Yuya horrified that a 5000 ATK monster is facing him down. "If I attack Rhyme now your LP will go to 0, young lad!" Tokumatsu states. "Due to the effect of Equip Spell: Thrilling Horn my opponent can only attack Odd-Eyes!" Yuya points out. "What? But you still won't be able to avoid this huge hit!" Tokumatsu says. "I'm sorry! Battle! I attack Odd-Eyes with Lightflare!" He declares. But before Lightflare can attack "An Action Card!" Yuya notices. Yuya accelerates past Tokumatsu and swerves to pick an Action Card off the ground. The crowd cheers "Action Spell: Overpass!" Yuya declares. "When two monsters battles, their ATKs are swapped for the rest of the Battle Phase!" He explains. "A huge turn-around for Yuya!?" Melissa wonders. "I activate Lightflare's effect!" Tokumatsu "I negated the activation of an opponent's Spell Card and destroy it!" He explains and Lightflare slashes Overpass. "No way!" Yuya shocked. "Attack Odd-Eyes!" Tokumatsu declares and Lightflare fires beams and destroys Odd-Eyes (Yuya's LP: 700). "I can't negated the effects of the already activated Thrilling Horn, but all Spell Cards you activate from now on will be negated, young lad!" Tokumatsu states.
"Then even Action Spell is…" The watching Yuzu sees that Tokumatsu has floodgated Yuya's ability to use Action Cards. "Yuya!" She begins to worry. "Yuya has been cornered!" Melissa also notes Yuya's tight situation. "I won't give up! Yuzu…watch!" Yuya thinks. "With all of my feelings on this draw, it's my….Turn!" Yuya declares and draws. "It's here!" He's pleased the card he draws is the one he was looking for. "I Summon Performapal Minstrel Caroler!" Yuya declares (ATK: 1400). "When this card is used as a Fusion Material, I can perform a Fusion Summon without a Fusion Spell Card!" He explains. "I see…You bet your destiny on a draw…looks like you pulled it off splendidly!" Tokumatsu notes. "I fuse Performapal Odd-Eyes Rhyme and Performapal Minstrel Caroler!" Yuya declares. "Reverberating voice and seraph's melody! Guided by the baton, gather your power! Fusion Summon! Now, come to the stage! Roar your song of victory! Odd-Eyes Bloom Dragon!" He chants (ATK: 1000). "Fusion…"Roger, watching this Duel from somewhere, notes. "Battle! I attack Lightflare with Bloom Dragon!" Yuya declares. "A careless mistake! He's battling a 5000 ATK monster with a 1000 ATK one!?" Melissa horrified. "This card cannot be destroyed in battle, and all battle damage dealt to its controller is dealt to their opponent, destroying their monster as well!" Yuya explains his Bloom Dragon's two battle reversal abilities and Bloom Dragon attacks. "Nice one!" Melissa impressed. "But, sorry! Lightflare can negate the effects of monsters it battles with!" Tokumatsu drops the bombshell and Lightflare spins his katana. "Tokumatsu is one step ahead! Yuya's one turnaround attempt turned out to nothing!" Melissa commentates.
"Not yet!" Yuya undeterred, banks on the side of the track again and reaches for an Action Card in the air. "An Action Card?!" Tokumatsu shocked. Yuya lands upright. He looks at the Action Card he just got "All right, here it is!" Yuya thinks. "Action Spell: Overpass!" He declares. "Young lad, no matter how many times you do it, the result will be the same!" Tokumatsu tells Yuya. "I activate Lightflare's effect!" He declares and Lightflare destroys Overpass. "Yuya aimed for another one-shot comeback with an Action Card…! But Tokumatsu was once again one step forward!" Melissa commentates. "It seems like this is the end!" Tokumatsu tells Yuya. "No, it's just getting started!" Yuya believes otherwise. "What?!" Tokumatsu exclaims. "I send Performapal Refrain from my hand to my Graveyard and activate it's effect!" Yuya declares. "With this effect, I banish two duplicate Spell Cards in my Graveyard and activate their effect!" He explains as he banishes the two Overpasses in his graveyard. Tokumatsu realise what Yuya was up to. "The effect I will activate is Action Spell: Overpass!" Yuya declares and Refrain appeared making an overpass. "Lightflare can negate the effects of Spell Cards and monsters on the field, but…It can't negate monster effect from my hand!" Yuya explains as he rides the overpass. Tokumatsu gasps "Overpass' effect swaps the ATK of two battling monsters until the end of the Battle Phase!" Yuya explains (Bloom Dragon's ATK: 5000) (Lightflare's ATK: 1000). Yuya returns to the ground "Bloom Dragon! Rebound Howl!" He declares and Bloom Dragon shatters Lightflare and causes Tokumatsu's D-Wheel to blow out (Tokumatsu's LP: 0).
"That clinches it! A heart-pounding Duel that made your hands sweats! Has just now been decided! Your winner is Yuya!" Melissa announces, just as he stops near the sheds and takes his helmet off in exhaustion. "I won…" Yuya whispers. "All right!" Rin cheers. Yuzu places her hand on the screen of her room "You did it, Yuya. You were amazing!" Yuzu, with tears, congratulate Yuya. Tokumatsu approaches Yuya from behind, having dismounted from his D-Wheel and taken off his helmet. "It was fun, young lad!" Tokumatsu tells Yuya. "Umm…Do you perhaps know Yuzu…?" A still visibly shaken Yuya asks. Tokumatsu crouches down "Young lad are you Yuzu's special someone?" He ask, whispers. Yuya blushes, then suddenly gets his paper fan out to whack Tokumatsu before hiding it behind his back "S-Sorry! I just…" Yuya apologizes. Choujrou!" The cheer for Tokumatsu again despite his loss, and Tokumatsu responds by raising his hand "Dueling is life itself! You only live once. There are days when you win, and days when you lose! Lose without shame, win with humility! Simply put…Let's Enjoy!" Tokumatsu recites his old proverb.
Tokumatsu turns to face the camera, making a V-gesture with his fingers. Yuzu reacts in surprised as Tokumatsu takes off his Riding gear, reveals his robe "Now then, shall we go?" He sand and makes his leave. "You did good, Choujirou!" An audience member cheers. "Tokumatsu…" Yuya looks on. "Yuya, you did amazing!" Another audience member cheers. "It was burning! It gave me the shivers!" A third audience member cheers. Yuya turns to the camera, holds up his left hand and smiles "Yuzu, I did it! I gave it my all!" Yuya addressing Yuzu silently. Yuzu was watching, still crying "Yuya…Thank you! Your feelings reached me!" She thanks him, without knowing what he said.

Performapal Refain (Monster/Effect, Level: 2, Attruibute: Light, Type: Spellcaster, ATK: 200, DEF:200)
You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard, then target 2 Spell Cards with the same name in your Graveyard; banish both targets, and if you do, activate the effect of those cards.
