As fireworks shoot up in the sky "The City is one! We're all friends!" Melissa announces and the crowd cheers. "That's great everyone!" Melissa pleased. "Now then the first match of the Friendship Cup's second day is…Yuzu Hiragi vs Duel Chaser 227!" She announces. "What kind of match will they show us today?" Melissa wonders. "Yuzu!" Yuya gasps as he watches. Yuri and Crow also watch in silent. In the Administrative Board's room "Yuzu…" Reira whispers. "Hey! The best opponent to have an exciting match with Yuzu is me!" Sawatari exclaims. "These guys just don't get it!" He complains. In Yuzu's room, Yuzu sat on her bed with her eyes closed, then there was a knock on the door. Yuzu opens her eyes, and went to opened it, to reveal Sam waiting outside. "I'll guide you to the stadium" Sam tells Yuzu. Yuzu and Sam walks down the corridor "This card you gave me…" Yuzu inquire, and Sam turns around to look at her. Yuzu holds out Tuning Magician "You wanted me to win and give this to Jack, right?" She asks, but Sam doesn't reply. "But if I'm going to win my there…people are going to be sent underground…" Yuzu points out. "Before winning, no…Before the Duel there's something I have to do!" She declares.
A D-Wheel was racing through the tunnel, it then revealed to be Duel Chaser 227. "First off, we have Duel Chaser 227's entrance!" Melissa declares. "Just some time ago, he suffered a defeat during a road chase Duel and was removed from the force…" She explains. "Is it safe to say he's just lacking then?" Melissa wonders. "Now, he's taking on this challenge as a Common!" She points out. "Oh? There are some unlucky people out there" Rin mused as she watches. "But he is a former Duel Chaser!" Melissa states as Duel Chaser 227 drives around. In Security "Whether you will regain your title as a Duel Chaser or not is all riding on this Duel" Roger comments as he watches.
"Next up we have Yuzu Hiragi's entrance!" Melissa announces as Yuzu enters the field. The audience booed Yuzu as she enters. "Hey! Hold on! You're booing her?!" Melissa shocked. Jack watches in silent. "See, look at this! That's what happens when you don't send me out!" Sawatari complains. "Yuzu…My feelings reached you…right?" Yuya wonders. Yuzu stopped next to Duel Chaser 227. Duel Chaser 227 glances at Yuzu, then turn his head back. "Now then everyone let's get excited for this next match!" Melissa tells everyone. "Action Field-!" She starts. "Wait!" Yuzu interrupts. "Everyone know what happens to the losers in the Friendship Cup?" She asks. "They're sent to the Forced Labor Institute Underground" Yuzu states. "The Underground?" Dennis repeated out of slight surprised. "They never return from the Underground. From the moment they enter, they're forced to do labor forever!" Yuzu revealed to the audience and the others who watching. "No way…That means Tokumastu and Gongenzaka have also-?!" Yuya gasped. "Tsukikage...too?" Reira wonders. "And I wondered what she wanted to say..." Grey scoffed. "One of your lots doesn't seem to understand the concept of a completive society" Gael comments "Can she fight with us like this?" Grey wonders.
The crowd cheers and Yuzu gasped at that. "How foolish" Jack said. "Is there a problem with that? That's how it is, the defeated will fall, right?" Melissa said. "That's just how it is?!" Yuzu said. "Yuzu, you just have to win this" Melissa winked. Action Field: On! Field Spell: Crossover Acceleration!" She declare and the stadium was enveloped in an Action Field. A jumble of Action Cards appeared above Yuzu and Duel Chaser 227. "Wait! I'm not done talking-" Yuzu said. "Duel Mode, Autopilot: Standby" The D-Wheel announces. The timer appeared, and Yuzu, who was frustrated, put on her visors. The countdown began. "Riding Duel…Acceleration!" Melissa declares as the countdown went down to zero, And Yuzu and Duel Chaser 227 went off. "DUEL!" Both Duelists shout.
Duel Chaser 227 takes the lead with Yuzu behind him. "Taking the first corner and the first turn is Duel Chaser 227!" Melissa announces. Yuzu grits her teeth "Sending defeated Duelists to the misery of the Underground is wrong!" She states. "Already worried you'll lose?!" A Commons man taunts. "Jack sure messed her up!" Another Commons man said. "You shouldn't use dueling to make people suffer!" Yuzu states. "People will listen if it's a winner speaking their mind" Jack states. "But making a racket before you even fight…" He comments. "That's why I say you're conceited" Jack points out. Back on the track "Dueling should make everyone smile…" Yuzu states. "Snap out of it!" Duel Chaser 227 tells her. "Did you come here to give a speech?" He questions her. "Then this isn't an invitation" Duel Chaser 227 states. "Surrender immediately and get outta of here!" He exclaims. Yuzu grits her teeth. "My turn!" Duel Chaser 227 declares. "I Summon Jutte Lord from my hand!" He states (ATK: 1600). "When Jutte Lord is successfully summoned, I can Special Summon one Jutte monster from my hand with its effect!" Duel Chaser 227 explains. "Come! Jutte Fighter!" He calls out (ATK: 700). "I tune the Level 4 Jutte Lord with the Level 2 Jutte Fighter!" Duel Chaser 227 declares. "Come forth! The hunter who wield the right to strike! Synchro Summon! Level 6! Goyo Predator!" He chants (ATK: 2400). "Next I activate the Equip Spell: Goyo Arrow from my hand!" Duel Chaser 227 states, and a Gatling gun appeared. "This card can only be equipped to Goyo monsters" He explains. "I equip it to Goyo Predator!" Duel Chaser 227 declares as Predator takes Goyo Arrow into its arm. "I activate Goyo Arrow's effect" He states. "Once per turn, the equipped monster can deal damage to my opponent equal to its Level multiplied by 100!" Duel Chaser 227 explains. "Goyo Predator is Level 6" He points out. "You take 600 points of damage!" Duel Chaser 227 states and Goyu Preadator fires at Yuzu (Yuzu's LP: 3400). "I end my turn" He states. "Impressive!" Melissa exclaims. "He couldn't attack in the first turn, but Duel Chaser 227 already inflicted damage on Yuzu!" She explains. Duel Chaser 227 turns to Yuzu "It's your turn. What will you do?" He questions her. "Will you duel in this unjust tournament?" Duel Chaser 227 mocks Yuzu. "If they won't listen to my words…" Yuzu thinks.
"My turn, draw!" She declares and draws Cantata the Melodious Diva. "From my hand, I set the Scale 3 Cantata the Melodious Diva and the Scale 9 Arianthe the Melodious Diva set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuzu declares. "With this I'm able summon multiple monsters from Level 2 to 8!" She explains. Duel Chaser 227 clicks his to tongue. "Swing, Pendulum of the Soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters!" Yuzu chants as the large pendulum swings. Two monsters emerge from the Pendulum portal. "First up is Shir the Melodious Vocalist! (ATK: 1600) Next, we haveOcacuina the Melodious Diva!" Yuzu declares (ATK: 1200). "Ladies and gentlemen!" She calls out. "For now, I'll put a smile on everyone's face with this stunning illusion!" She states. "Battle! I attack Goyo Predator with Shir!" Yuzu declares. "She's making a monster with 1600 ATK battle with Goyo Predator's 2400?!" Melissa shocked. "How reckless!" She comments. "I activate Arianthe the Melodious Diva's Pendulum Effect!" Yuzu declares. "Once per turn, I can add the ATK of one Melodious on my Field to the ATK of an Melodious Monster in battle!" She explains and Arianthe sends out both a light and sound waves. "What are you saying!? Another Melodious isn't battling!" A Commons man points out. Yuzu snaps her fingers as she points her finger to the sky and then lowers her hand "Please keep your eyes on Shir!" She tells everyone. "When the name of an Melodious monster is declared, Shir is treated as that monster!" Yuzu explains, and the sound waves then covers Shir. "The name I declare is…
Mozarta the Melodious Maestra!" She declares as Shir turns into Mozarta the Melodious Maestra. "I add Ocacuina the Melodious Diva's 1200 ATK to its own!" Yuzu states (Shir's ATK 2800). Shir attacks and destroys Goyo Predator. "The equipped Goyo Arrow is destroyed along with Goyo Predator!" Melissa states (DC 227's LP: 3600). "Next, I direct attack with Ocacuina!" Yuzu declares and Ocacuina attacks Duel Chaser 227 (DC 227's LP: 2400). "Yuzu took first damage, but she turned the game around in an instant!" Melissa comments. "When the Battle Phase ends, Arianthe's Pendulum Effect ends as well" Yuzu states (Shir's ATK: 1600). "I end my turn!" She declares. "She's doing better than I thought" A Tops man comments. "Well. It's because her opponent isn't Jack" A Tops Woman points out.
"I'll win, and go back to the Tops…Back to being a Duel Chaser!" Duel Chaser 227 vows. "My turn!" He declares. "I activate the Spell Card: Jutte's Draw!" Duel Chaser 227 declares. For each "Jutte" monster I have in my Graveyard I get to draw one card!" He explains. "I activate the Spell Card: Monster Reborn!" Duel Chaser 227 states. "Revive, Goyo Predator!" He calls out (ATK: 2400). "Predator was destroyed mere moments ago and it's already back!" Melissa exclaims. "I attack Shir with Goyo Predator!" Duel Chaser 227 declares. Goyo Predator then twirls its kyoketsu-shoge, Yuzu then races past Duel Chaser 227 "Yuzu's moving in to grab an Action Card!" Melissa states. As she got closer to the Action Card, Yuzu reached out for it. "I won't let you!" Duel Chaser 227 proclaims and speeds up and bumps Yuzu, causing either of them to get the Action Card. "Yuzu!" Yuya yells out. The audience was getting excited. "Duel Chaser 227 stopped Yuzu from getting the Action Card!" Melissa states. "A little rough, but he did it!" She point out as she snaps her fingers. Goyo Predator attacks and destroys Shir. Yuzu grunts (Yuzu's LP: 2600). "I activate Goyo Predator's effect!" Duel Chaser 227 declares. "When it destroys a monster in battle, I can Special Summon that monster to my side of the field!" He explains. Yuzu gasps in shock. "Come. Shir!" Duel Chaser 227 calls out and Shir appeared on his field (ATK: 1600). "Duel Chaser 227 took Yuzu's monster for himself!" Melissa exclaims. "I attack Ocacuina with Shir!" Duel Chaser 227 declares, And Shir attacks Ocacuina and destroys it (Yuzu's LP: 2200). "I end my turn!" He states. "Yuzu takes damage from Duel Chaser 227's successive attack!" Melissa exclaims.
"We're not done here!" Yuzu proclaims. "The fun has just begun!" She states. "My turn!" Yuzu declares. "I active the Spell Card: Melodic Draw!" She states. "Now for each monster that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, I get to draw two cards" Yuzu explains and one of the cards she drew was Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra. "I Pendulum Summon from the set Pendulum Scale!" She declares. "Return from my Extra Deck! Ocacuina the Melodious Diva! (ATK: 1200) And from my hand, the valiant and angelic voice of brilliance! Come forth, Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra (ATK: 2600). The crowd gave a roaring cheer. "If she attacks the Level 6 Goyo Predator, with Arianthe's effect… Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra's ATK will increase by the amount of Ocacuina's ATK" Dennis observes. "She'll be able to deal double the damage with its own effect" He states. "Yuzu's got this win in the bag" Dennis smiles. Yuya watches with a serious look. "Will Yuzu clinch it in the next battle?!" Melissa wonders. "Good going!" A Commons man cheers. "Get him!" Another Commons man yells out. Duel Chaser 227 looks back at Yuzu how was catching up to him. "Do it! Do it! Do it!" The crowd claps and chants. "Send 'im flying!" A Commons man exclaims. "Smash him to bits!" Another Commons man shouts. "Do it! Do it! Do it!" The crowd chants. Yuzu was annoyed with all the chanting. "Do it! Do it! Do it!" The crowd chants. "If I attack, I'll win" Yuzu thinks. "But he'll be sent to the underground…" She remembers. Duel Chaser 227 grits his teeth and then notices an Action Card "There!" He gasps. Duel Chaser 227 went up the barrier, jumps of it, grabs the Action Card and land back on the track. "Duel Chaser 227 grabbed an Action Card!" Melissa exclaims. "That's some impressive D-Wheel maneuvering!" She states. "I activate the Action Spell: Battle Lock!" Duel Chaser 227 declares. "During this turn, my opponent cannot declare an attack!" He states, and then chains appeared and wrapped themselves around Mozarta and Ocacuina. "Your fun ends here" Duel Chaser 227 states. Yuzu was annoyed. "She missed her chance at victory" Gael states. Reiji made not comments. "What the heck are you doing?!" A Commons man yells. "Do you even wanna win?!" Another Commons man questions. "How boring!" A Commons girl comments. "I set one cards, turn end" Yuzu simply said and the chains dissipates. "A Duelist who hesitates cannot capture the audience's hearts" Jack comments. "Yuzu…" Yuya whispers.
"Looks like the goddess of victory is on my side" Duel Chaser 227 states. "My turn!" He declares and draws Polymerization. "I Summon Stygian Security from my hand!" Duel Chaser 227 states (ATK: 100). "I tune the Level 4 Shir with the Level 1 Stygian Security!" He declares. "A chase to the ends of hell! Behold! The soul of intergrity! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 5! Goyo Chaser!" He chants (ATK: 1900). "Chief!" Duel Chaser 227 calls out. "I'll present my victory to you with the card you gave me!" He states. "I activate the Spell Card: Polymerization!" Duel Chaser 227 declares. "Polymerization?!" Melissa surprised. "The insatiable soul of the chaser and the proud soul of the predator. Now, become one and sublimate! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Successor of the majestic predator's lineage! Goyo Emperor!" Duel Chaser 227 chants (ATK: 3300). "What a surprise!" Melissa shocked. "Duel Chaser 227 Fusion Summoned!" She exclaims. In the Exclusive Council room "Fusion…" Reiji whispers. "Has a rat found its way into this dimension?" He wonders. "I active the Equip Spell: Goyo Blade and equipped it to Goyo Emperor!" Duel Chaser 227 declares. "Now Goyo Emperor gains 100 ATK for each Goyo monster on the field!" He explains (Goyo Emperor's ATK: 3400). "Go! I attack Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra with Goyo Emperor!" Duel Chaser 227 declares and Goyo Emperor attacks Mozarta and destroys it. "Yuzu' s monster is destroyed!" Melissa exclaims (Yuzu's LP: 1400). "I activate Goyo Emperor's effect!" Duel Chaser 227 declares. "It negates the destruction of the opponent's monster this card battled!" He explains as Mozarta returns to the field. "Huh? It's not destroyed?" Melissa confused. "However, I gain controls of the monster whose destruction was negated" Duel Chaser 227 adds and then smiles. Yuzu gasped in shocked. Mozarta then went to Duel Chaser 227's field. "As long as Goyo Emperor is on the field, I control your ace monster!" Duel Chaser 227 states. Yuzu grits her teeth. "Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra! Attack Ocacuina!" Duel Chaser 227 declares and Mozarta went for the attack. "I activate the Trap Card: Melodious Balled!" Yuzu declares. "Now for each Melodious monster I have in my Graveyard, Ocacuina gains 100 ATK!" She explains (Ocacuina's ATK: 1300). Mozarta then attacks and destroys Ocacuina (Yuzu's LP: 100). "Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra can use the same effect as the Goyo Emperor that took it!" Duel Chaser 227 explains. "With that effect, I negate destruction of a monster and gain control of it!" He states and Ocacuina returns and goes to Duel Chaser 227's side. "Two of Yuzu's monsters were snatched up in an instant!" Melissa exclaims. "If he attacks directly…" A Commons states. "The match is set!" Another Commons man states. "Get her!" A Third Commons man cheers. The Tops simply smiles. "Checkmate!" Duel Chaser 227 shouts as he rises his arm. "What are you doing, Yuzu!?" Sawatari exclaims as he watches. "He's gotten all pumped!" He yells. "Yuzu?" Yuya confuses. "Shall we see how this woman will crumble at my feet?!" Duel Chaser 227 asks the audiences. The crowd then claps slowly as it got dim, Yuzu had her head lowers and her visor lenses covered her eyes. "Go! I attack directly with Ocacuina!" He declares and Ocacuina went for the attack. For a while Yuzu kept her head lower, and then she raises her head and her eyes were glowing and she had a serious look on her face. "Cantata's Pendulum Effect!" Yuzu declares. "When I'm targeted for a direct attack, all cards in the Pendulum Zone except this one are destroyed, and I Special Summoned it!" She explains as Cantata came out of the Pendulum Zone and Arianthe was destroys (ATK: 2000). "A monster with 2000 ATK is summoned on Yuzu's Field!" Melissa exclaims. "Unable to direct attack, Cantata can't be destroyed!" She states as Duel Chaser 227 grits his teeth. "What futile resistance…turn end!" Duel Chaser 227 annoyed. "Yuzu's had a close shave!" Melissa states. "But she's taken some huge damage. Can she get back on her feet?" She wonders.
Yuzu had a serious look on her face, and Jack was shocked. "My…turn!" Yuzu declares and draws Mozarta the Melodious Epee. "I active the Spell Card: Double Reborn Level 4!" Yuzu declares. "Each player Special Summons one Level 4 monster from their Graveyard in Defense Position!" She explains. "What? From mine too?!" Duel Chaser 227 shocked. "Call it!" Yuzu tells Duel Chaser 227. Duel Chaser 227 Special Summoned Jutte Lord (DEF: 1200) (Goyo Emperor's ATK: 3500). "Revive! Shir the Melodious Vocalist!" Yuzu calls out (DEF: 1200). "With Shir's effect, this card can be treated as Mozarta the Melodious Maestra" She states and Shir changed onto Mozarta the Melodious Maestra. "Next, I Release the Light-attribute Cantata on my field, and allow Mozarta the Melodious Maestra to evolve!" Yuzu declares as she sends Cantata to the Graveyard. "Evolve?!" Duel Chaser 227 exclaims. Then Cantata became a yellow light "Emerge, the radiant light of salvation that impales the darkness of despair! Mozarta the Melodious Epee!" Yuzu chants (ATK: 2800). "Battle! I attack Jutte Lord with Mozarta the Melodious Epee!" She declares and Mozarta the Melodious Epee fires a beam from it Epee and destroys Jutte Lord (Goyo Emperor's ATK: 3400). "However, I don't take damage" Duel Chaser 227 points out. "I'm just getting started" Yuzu states. "I active Mozarta the Melodious Epee's effect!" She declares. "When this card destroys a monster in battle and sends it to the Graveyard, I can destroy one of my opponent's monsters" Yuzu explains. "What?! Duel Chaser 227 shocked as Mozarta the Melodious Epee fire again from its Epee. "I destroy Goyo Emperor!" Yuzu proclaims and Goyo Emperor was destroyed. "Since Goyo Emperor was destroyed, its effect ends" She points out. "I regain control of my monsters" Yuzu states and Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra and Ocacuina the Melodious Diva returns to Yuzu's field. "Yuzu retrieved both monsters that were snatched from her!" Melissa exclaims. "Nice! Give it all ya got!" A Commons man cheers. "This just got interesting!" Another Commons man exclaims.
"I attack directly with Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra!" Yuzu declares and Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra went for the attack. "Dammit!" Duel Chaser 227 cursed. Both Duelist were heading towards two Action Cards. Both of them tried to stop either one from getting either of the Action Cards. "The winner is…" Duel Chaser 227 starts. "Me!" Both of them declares and they both grabbed an Action Card. "It's here. Action Card: Evasion!" Duel Chaser 227 declares. "Action Card: No Action!" Yuzu counters. "The activation and effect of Action Spells are negated, and they're destroyed!" She explains. Duel Chaser 227 grits his teeth in frustration. Yuzu speeds ahead of Duel Chaser 227 and Duel Chaser 227 almost lost control of his D-Wheel. Yuya and Dennis gasp, while Sawatari grits his teeth. Duel Chaser 227 looks behind him in shock as Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra shrieks and attacks Duel Chaser 227, causing his D-Wheel to flips over and crash (DC227's LP: 0).
The audience cheers as Crossover Acceleration dissipates. Yuzu drove in silent. "Yuzu" Yuya concerned. "Is this…what you want to tell us?" He wonders. Reiji and Reira watches in silent. "Oh. So this is her true nature" Roget comments as Yuzu takes of her visor. "Looks likes 227's defeat was not wasted" He states. Yuzu eyes were covered by her hair. "Yuzu, splendid work!" Melissa praise Yuzu, causing her to lift her head up. Yuzu looks at the hologram of Melissa confuses. "Her missed chance at victory put her in a pinch, but she bounced back splendidly!" Melissa states. "Highlights aplenty!" She exclaims. "Nice job! That was interesting!" A Commons man cheers. "The best!" A Commons woman cheers. "Yuzu! Yuzu! Yuzu!" The crowd chants as Yuzu was in shocked. "No. This isn't it" Yuzu laments. "The Duel I believe in isn't-!" She refuses as she holds her head. Yuzu then turns around to see some staff members taking the unconscious Duel Chaser 227 away on a stretcher. "Stop it. Stop!" Yuzu yells. Yuzu then get off her D-Wheel "Stop! Don't send him to the underground!" She pleaded as she runs toward them, but was blocked by two other staff members. Jack watches. "Quit it!" One of the staff members tells Yuzu as she struggles to get through. "Let go! Let me go!" Yuzu cries out.
