Jumping through the tress was Natsume and Yami in pursuit of their next mission in their new root uniform with their mask hanging on the sides of the hip" I'm glad we doing this mission together what with me almost dying the last time and you having to take out that drug lord on the coast" said Yami next to her " right, I mean fighting one of legendary seven swordsman of the mist is totally awesome!...well except dying that is " she replied in an excited tone but lower it at the end , Yami shuddered having to travel with exposed cuts on his body ,good thing his partner knew medical jutsu.
"well, fan-girling aside -"

" -Did you get anything for us while on your mission "
Taking out a blue scroll with white at the edges, she showed him with an mischievous smile, "what do you think "

Arriving about a few metres away from the base and putting on their mask, Natsume with red cat features and Yami with blue badger features. Planning on what to do, where Yami wanted to wait for the night and sneak in, and take them out quietly Natsume wanted to do a full frontal assault.
"Why do you always wanna attack in the dark"
"We're assassins aren't we, I just wanna keep up the image" he shrugged
"You so cliche ya know that " she replied with squinted eyes

" Jumping away from her hiding place and throwing six kunais 3 in each hand, each hitting strategical places, landing in a crouch on a tree using chakra to stick to it"boom.." she smirked *BIGAAGH* the entrance to the base exploded and in its place was a big hole. Facepalming at her antics and unsheathing his tanto he rushed into the smoke and slicing 2 of the guards that was closest to the door that wasn't killed by the explosion, waiting for her to land next to him, they rushed into enemy base turning a hallway they saw three sound nin running towards them with kunais in their hands" Natsume, if you please " Way ahead of you, WATER STYLE: WATER-WAVE TECHNIQUE" she called sending a wave of rushing water towards them standing next to her Yami added a "Electro Bullet" into the water shocking and killing them weaving again he put his hand on the floor connection to the Earth's magnetic field " they below us, waiting"
"Well then let's give them what they want" she raised her fist above her head
Wait!... there's about, fifty of them...maybe more it's hard to count so many hearts together, you think these are the experiments of the improvements of developing curse seal" he said while still having his hand on the ground
"Could be, so ,all out then?" she crouched besides him
"Yeah... hand me that other sword you got sealed"

"WHAT WAS THAT!" shouted a bi-spetical scientist standing in room full of medical equipment
"We being attack sir!!" One of the sound grunts said running into the room
"Godamnit lord Orochimaru is gonna kill us for letting this happen, release the experiments let those freaks handle them!"
"Right!"running out the room the grunt went and opened all the cells door with a lever on the floor below them, quickly running away before they could get him.

With the grunt rushing out the room the scientist went to his safe underneath his table, punching in the code it opened up to a black case, putting on the table and opening it up showcasing one green vile.
" All the experiments will be worth it after I deliver this vile to Lord Orochimaru " closing it again he rushed out of the room and to the secret exit point.

"Ok."taking out the blue scroll and unsheathing a royal blue scabbard, with black like waves on it with the handle being black with mini blue swirls in a straight line, a black guard and the pommel had a red whirlpool on. Admiring the design he unsheathed the blade and saw it was a beautiful silver with a Kenji at the end at the guard reading it it said 'May the Eddie's always dance with the whirlpools',' the hell does that mean, looks beautiful though' he thought not giving it a second glance, looking over to his partner he nodded, stepping forward and raising her fist and destroying the floor beneath them sending them down to last floor seeing a bunch of gruesome experiments gone wrong. Consisting of ones with 3 arms, 4 arms, blade for hands and all of them having a dark brown skin tone with pitch blacks eyes the pupils being an ugly yellow, the saliva dripping from their mouths.
"What the hell are they " Natsume looking a little green in the face asked her partner
"A bunch of ugly walking corpses" a deep frown showed on his face.
"Ooooo that was a good one" she said impressed
"Thanks! I've been working on them" he broadly smiled with joy over to her, proud of his one liners.
Raaaaah!" One rushed them looking the most normal out of them but only having three fingers,green chakra exploded out of one of her hands, appearing as if she teleported before him and touched his chest, stopping all his movement and after a moment he coughed up blood and fell to the floor dead. Stepping next to her he observe the corpse" Chakra Scapel, seriously overpowered, just one touch on a person's body could either destroy the heart or any vital organs"," thank you" she said proud of her work as buffed her fingers on tshirt.
Seeing one of their own being killed by the shinobis they all charge at them with a war cry, the air got noticeably hotter around Yami as he started charging his Lightning armour up just as one was about to touch him he disappeared, reappearing behind the experiment a clear line was cut through the waist of it, looking up everything was in slow motion for Yami, gripping the Katana he sliced the next ones head of with twirl and vertically dissected the next from the head down, stabbing the sword through the next ones chest and ripping it out through side , throwing a lightning coated kunai through five heads in a straight row , he cut down 3 more when the kunai struck the wall. Time gone back to normal as he finally activated his Lightning armour, the sword gaining a blue tint as the lightning travelled down to the sword, swinging horizontally a curve of Lightning chakra energy cutting through the last of the experiments.

Chakra swirled around her sword as they rushed her, dodging a swipe she sliced ones neck open , jumping over 2 above them she threw 2 shuriken to the back of their necks while still in mid-air, cutting the nerves to the brain off, split kicking 2 others in their necks breaking them before landing in a roll and sheathing her blade she appeared before 2 and palm thrust their chests with chakra covered imploding their hearts, dodging a overhead swipe she twirled and kick the attackers feet out from under him, while the abomination was still busy falling she appeared above him and brought her heel down on his throat crushing it and killed him, they all rushed her trying slice her open with their sharp extended nails but was constantly being dodge showing her flexibility and agility, jumping out of the horde flipped faceing them and shot out a giant fireball on top of their heads *BOOM* killing 8 in the progress, once again on the ground she inspected her work satisfied she once again withdraw her sword but was interrupted Yami's lightning chakra curve cutting down the last of the experiments
"HEY! That was my kill!!" She shouted at him furious that he just took her glory
Deactivating his armour and rubbing his head sheepishly " sorry!, but good job, let's plant the paper bombs and light this place up"
With narrowed eyes she replied"hmmmmm"
"Come ooooon" he said jumping out of the room of planting his side of the room

Jumping up to the hole they made, they began to plant the bombs to collapse the whole base, reaching the lab they searched it for any information to bring back to the foundation, looking at the open safe, they concluded theres a runner that they missed.
...outside the base...
"Boom" she smirked watching as her art exploded before their eyes.
"Well he'll definitely know we coming" smirking still looking at their destruction" whoever find the tracks first gets to kill him " he looked over to her but saw her missing from her place
"Way ahead of you " she said on the ground already looking for any tracks
"Shadow clone jutsu " he said creating 2 clones
"Hey that's cheating !" she pointed at him
"All is fair in ninja tactics Natsume " he teased her
She threw a rock at one, dodging it just in time " hey!" He shouted down at her " all is fair in ninja tactics Yami " she smirked back at him, narrowing his eyes , him and his clones began searching the surrounding area for tracks

"Hahaaaa I got tracks" he shouted out popping the clones, landing next to him they looked the footprints leading into the forest "looks like 2 shinobis are with a civilian, probably a scientist with how heavy the one pair of footprints are from the others " she concluded her deductions
"You ready to kill some monsters " he asked looking into the forest, standing up she crossed her arms and scowled "it's what we were trained for " they both disappeared into the forest following the trail.

!" the scientist said panting hunched over gripping his knees
" If we stop now they are going to catch-
-Too late" she said crouching on the tree limb with forearms resting on her knees with her partner standing next her leaning against the tree looking at her, ' training her with my lightning armour on got her keeping up with me in my base form' he thought proudly of her.
"Damnit! ,Who the hell are you people" one sound shinobi shouted at them" It doesn't matter who we are, death comes in many ways" she replied to him emotionless showcasing her training from the foundation
"Death!? Ha you got another thing coming little girl cause let me tell you we weren't just run of the mill ol guards, lord Orochimaru personally picked us to guard the scientist with his experiments"
"And what is this experiments you talking about" she continued
"eh you about to find out " both of the sound nin smirked as seals began to travel across their bodies, both gaining a dark brown tinge to their bodies, their hair growing at a alarming rate looking like porcupine spikes one with red pupils and the other with gold pupils, looking at the 2 root nin they were met with emotionless, unimpressed masks. The sound nin snarled and all 4 shinobi disappeared from their positions, seeing the cost is clear the scientist open the case and took out a metal saringe and clipped the vale to it, closing the case he pocketed the saringe and continued to the border of the sound village.

Clashing her blade against the cursed marked nin kunai they stalemated on the ground, smirking at her but all in response he got was an emotionless mask, pushing the blades to the side he twirled and back kicked her which she blocked but was pushed back a couple feet digging trenches with her feet, sheathing her blade she slowly raising her hands, pushing her hands forward with her right hand touching the inside of her left elbow, stepping forward with her left foot she took the Wing Chun fighting stance and waited for him, rushing to her he tried to stab her but was deflected by her left hand, punching with her right hand he tilted his head and swiped at her with his kunai, bending back she dodge the swipe and kicked out with a thrust kick against his torso sending him tumbling backwards,going again into the stance but this time she regulated her chakra control perfectly for more heavy hits and waited for him , standing up he observed her stance more carefully this time, going in more cautiously this time he reversed his grip on the kunai and rushed at her with swipes, back stepping and dodging his swipes she waited for her opening, and just then she took it when he did an overhead kick, crouching she pulled back her fists and double punched his torso sending him through a tree, unsheathing her sword she followed him jumping over the falling tree and swiped down on his head which he blocked just in time digging into the kunai his knee hit the ground pushing her of him, he threw the kunai at her flipping form which she caught by the ringer with her forefinger, landing in a crouch She rushed to the cursed nin and slashed outward horizontally with her sword,the sound shinobi duckef just in time as she flipped over him, with the reverse kunai in her right hand she tried to back stab into the side his head which he blocked at her wrist, taking hold off her wrist he judo threw her on the ground before him cratering the ground, knocking the wind out of her it, pulling back his fist to perform a downward punch she rolled away just in time before her head could be indented into the ground, jumping away she observed him with his fist stuck in the ground, pulling it out he stood up and responded the same 'I'm faster than her but her reflexes is on another level and judging by the blow she gave me a while back our strength is the same,so that means we at an impasse, so let's see who has the most experience" he thought. Taking out another kunai he waited for her move, sheathing her sword and throwing the kunai simultaneously she quickly went through some handseals when the cursed nin hit the thrown kunai away he tried to stop her with a slash but she jumped away and performed a "WATER STYLE: WATER WAVE TECHNIQUE" shooting down a wave of rushing water down on the cursed nin, which he jumped away just in time, still not finished she jumped down on the water and made more handseals "WATER STYLE: WATER SHURIKEN" a dozen shuriken raised around of her and shot at him with incredible speed, dispersing a few but still getting hit and nicked in the shoulders, arms and legs and the left cheek, growling he crashed down on the water and rushed to her, following his lead she rushed to and met with their fist clashing parting the water below them, they began going into a sequence of fighting styles, one with speed and the other with skill and agility getting frustrated that he keeps on missing her vital spots, he did an overhead kick which she duck but the side of her head was met his other foot performing a spinning kick sending her tumbling a few feet away from him standing up and spiting out a glob of blood, she fixed her askew, smirking he stepped to her but fell to his knee coughing up blood, looking at her in shocked, she finally spoke " Shocked, while you are durable your insides are not and everytime I touched you I sent small bouts of my chakra scaple into your vital spots, I didn't need to match my strength with you" stepping up to his kneeling form green chakra swirled around her fist " And any type of movement you do now will only increase your internal bleeding" raising her fist he sputtered out "W-who the hell are you people", "...I'm your one way ticket to hell" hitting him right in the middle of his face, his brains and eyes imploded in his head, giving him a gruesome death. Releasing her breath she shook her hand clean of the blood on it, taking out a chakra pill to refill about half her reserves she used, she jumped to where her partner is fighting.

Dodging a swipe to the left and right, he jumped to another tree Yami questioned him " what type of experiments were you doing to those people", " as if I'll tell an enemy nin, you'll have to drag it out of me " the curesed nin smirked" that can be arranged " touching his forearm guard he released a needle like blade from it and some chakra conducting wire " Do you know of the seven swordsman, Nuibari is the blades name" looking him dead in the eyes "...belonging to the long dead Kushimaru Kuriarare" the cursed nin golden eyes widen in shock '...h-he took out an A ranked shinobi ' after a moment he clenched his fist and ' it doesn't matter who he took out with this power flowing through me I'm invincible '" your little story won't intimidate me bastard why don't you come down and say that to my face-" gladly" a voice behind him said turning his head quickly to look behind him, he blocked the kicked that hit the side of his head sending him tumbling to side, digging his feet in the ground and stopping his decent, snarling at his opponent he took out two steel bo staffs from behind and rushed to the root nin, putting the wire away he wanted to test the cursed nin, ducking a right hit he clashed nuibari with the left hit, back stepping a right swing, they began to clash their respective weapons, slamming both staffs down on the blocked sword the cursed nin smirked and used the ringing to project his technique "HIDDEN ARTS: SONIC WAVE" caught of guard by the technique Yami wasn't prepared for the sudden wave of vertigo, being in a state of disorientation he didn't see the round house kick coming his way and was sent tumbling a few feet, still shaking and trying to hold whatever ate in, he slowly got up to his feet," ohhh you still got some fight in you huh, let's work on that shall we" walking to the kneeling root nin and hitting the 2 staffs against one another it emitted a sound wave constantly bouncing off Yami's head worsening his condition with each step of the cursed nin, seeing the blurring figure above him, he felt himself being kicked in the side with a powerful blow reminding him of one of Natsume's hits no doubt fracturing a rib, with the needle like sword flying of somewhere," look at that, here I was worried you might actually be a strong shinobi, having taken out one of the seven swordsman, guess that was all talk huh" the cursed nin smugly said, knowing he couldn't fight in this state, while Yami was kneeling he closed his eyes and protected his ears with chakra, breathing in and out he layed his hand flat on the ground and waited, " look at that, accepting defeat so easily, ehehe here let me put you out of your misery" joining the 2 separated staffs in the middle and twisting it counta-clockwise a blade emerge from one end, rushing to the kneeling shinobi with the blade extended, kneeling with his head down he waited until the approaching nin was 2 feet in front of him and tilted his body to the right. Pulling the spear back exactly 4 feet away he thrusted the blade at 2 and shouted "DIE!" thrusting the blade he was shock to see the kneeling shinobi dodge his attack, pulling the spear back he went for a downward thrust but was shocked again when Yami rolled away and stood up swaying left and right still disorientated, getting frustrated the sound nin rushed in twirling the staff, releasing a sickle at the other end, narrowing his closed eyes he timed the swipe and drunkenly dodge the blow, drunkenly dodging horizontally and vertically swipes, being crouched the cursed nin saw his chance went for a downward blow with sickle extended to Yami's head and just when it was an inch away from impaling Yami through his head, he rolled to left, while in momentum he picked up the discarded Nuibari and slowly stood up gathering his bearings with his back turned "I gotta admit without my technique, I might not have survived as long as I did, but that's not important, this battle has gone on long enough" while Yami was talking he took out the chakra tread and weaved it in the blade, pulling it tight he channeled lightning chakra through it taking control of the blade, he twirled and released the blade from his right hand, not even bothering to dodge the wide throwing blade the cursed nin smirked and rushed to stab the stationary root nin with the sickle of his staff and he would've succeeded had Yami not back flipped over him with the tread still in his left hand he formed a seal while still overhead and said " ... shadow clone technique" just as Yami landed the cursed nin completed his swing and looked back at Yami snarling in anger, turning to perform a sound attack a spark was heard through the air, looking up he saw a dozen needle like swords flying at him with tremendous speed having been amped by lightning chakra, no time to jump away lead him being impaled like a pin cushion, a forefinger twitched and the real needle blade came through the trees stabbing the cursed nin through the back and out the chest, tilting his head to the right, he caught the blade in his right hand, with the battle finished he collapsed on his knees, removing his mask and threw up whatever he ate, standing up, stumbling back and falling on his back, the vertigo having retired full blast as his ear drums and nose started bleeding trying to stay awake but ultimately fell unconscious.
