This story answers some questions left unanswered by CIC, and plays around with the characters from 24. You might also notice I use elements from my previous 24 stories. It also goes into certain recent events, like the evacuation from Afghanistan and the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Kevin Carroll continues his pursuit of Jack Bauer through the abandoned building. He has no idea that it's already too late. CTU already has the chip, and there are no more moles there. Even if he gets the tracker, CTU already has the evidence of Kevin Carroll's involvement. But he is still capable of killing Jack Bauer, if he can find him.

Jamey Farrell and Chloe OBrien work feverishly to repair the chip in time. The attacks will happen in less than two hours, unless they can find the bombers in time.

Reverand Adam prepares himself. Soon he will be in Paradise. This sinful and decadent country will suffer a blow. Maybe the survivors will take this as a wakeup call and embrace the true God. But that would be someone else's problem, someone else's fight. Adam wasn't going to be here much longer.

President Keaton wonders why the chief of police wishes to speak with him. If Dave were desperate enough, he might actually murder someone, would he falsely implicate an old friend. Keaton figured all he could do was tell the truth, and hope that Dave backed him up.

Jack Bauer and Kevin Carroll continue their little cat and mouse game. Eventually Jack is able to gain the upper hand and kill Kevin Carroll. Jack then leaves and plans to return to CTU. Hopefully there are no more assasins waiting. Hopefully this is almost over.
