Preastoric loud chapter 2
The next day we see all the louds are sleeping while mom n dad are about to wake them up at 7am to get ready for there job at the park
Lisa planned was shown in the book guide about extinct animals how to bring,
specimens of extinct animals to the present day with the ultimate goal of starting breeding programs to start repopulation, the park acquires its long-extinct residents via the time portal, which allows people, objects, and animals to travel back and forth through time.
"Kids! Breakfast is ready!" Lynn sr told them. He cooked a pretty good breakfast too
"I don't want to get up!" Went back to sleep
"It's 7 in the morning!" Luna yelled
"Can we do this later,I need sleep" Lori. cover herself back up
Rita blows a whistle all the loud kids quietly got up head to the big kitchen,it wasn't a dream after really were going to to go on a mission this got Lana and Lincoln excited.
"Remind us what we are doing again?" Leni said
They all set down eating breakfast while Lana reading the special zookeeper guide of extinct dinosaurs to preastoric animals
Lana show Lincoln a picture of a dodo bird drawing. "I can't believe we are going to bring back a dodo!"
"Lana aren't dodo birds supposed to to be supit or something." Lori eat some eggs
"Maybe they can do an Alice in wonderland play." Luan joked
They all groaned at her
"yeah there probably very stupid...even dumber then Leni,if I say so myself " Lola look at Leni
Lisa have a singe Leni to watch lily for her own safety she might mess up,like how Leni was the one who burn down the house last week
Lana continues reading. "Dodo is a lesson in extinction. Found by Dutch soldiers around 1600 on an island in the Indian Ocean, the Dodo became extinct less than 80 years later because of deforestation, hunting, and destruction of their nests by animals brought to the island by the Dutch."
"What else did it say about them...?" Lynn told Lana. "Why did they go extinct that easily "
Lucy look at the dodo and sigh. "Have to admit,they don't deserve to go extinct,Lynn"
"Yeah,whatever " Lynn said to Lucy
"Sigh" Lucy said
"Keep reading Lana,what else do the dumb birds do" Lynn said .rolling her eyes
Lana continued reading. "It said ,they were so comfortable around humans that they were easily hunted on their native island of Mauritius. Their trusting nature and the introduction of invasive species wiped them out a century after they were discovered...poor little guys" Lana frown
The louds did feel bad about them for being to trusting with humans and die out,after they finished breaking they got dressed,ready to go
Each loud got a big work to do for getting ready to bring them back.
They are outside with the mom n dad at the petting zoo habitat that kinda like a small jungle with tall forests plants to a few chickens size empty nest.
Lisa walked to them with a field guide
"Good,you're here. Have you read the book last night" Lisa questioned them
"Not really " Lola said. "Why can't we pick a pretty bird of a pony as a start! I hate these zookeepers clouths!"
They all got a logo of a dodo bird with the green shirt
"I think there pretty good,what's the plan." Lana told Lisa
"Since Lana is the only-" Lisa was interrupted
"I read a little bit of it" Lincoln told Lisa
Lisa set the time portal in the dodo bird habitat set it up,they were amazed to see ,The Time Portal is transparent and expelled a bright light when open. It is concave-circular in shape and the core of the Portal ripples like water whenever anything passed through it. Occasionally, a blurry image of the other side was also visible.
"Since Lana and Lincoln have read it,only Humans, animals and objects could travel through the time portal simply by passing through one side to the other; however, gases and debris could not enter." Lisa said
Lucy read the book. "Said here sighting on its home island of Mauritius was made in 1662 were it was last seen alive"
"indeed your right sibling. I am going to to send you back in 1599 to Mauritius to rescue over 45 dodo birds and two eggs" Lisa told them
"How do we even gather them up?" Luna said. "Aren't they fast or heavy?"
"Lincoln,you n Lana will go to your first mission but not to worry,after you gather the dodo birds be sure to study what food sources they eat in order to to provide a healthy environment and diet" Lisa said
"Got it,anything else " Lincoln told Lisa
"Yay! We're going to save the dodo birds,Lincoln!" Lana jumped with joy
"The rest of you will be doing a very special activities around the zoo." Lisa give them the list. "Lori will be in charge of the staff"
"Don't worry I got this" Lori smiles with her fist up
"Luan and Luna will make sure Lincoln and Lana comes back as the animal entered there habitat" Lisa told them
Lucy and Lynn will be in charge of making sure the dodo birds are healthy in their new habitat.
Lincoln and Lana got in front of the portal seeing mom n dad look at them with proud and still grounded;he thinks this is the best of being grounded ever as they both walked through the portal.
"Hope our kids be safe" Lynn put his arm around his wife
"You sure there going to be safe out there,honey?" Rita question
"Don't worry parental members,those necklaces have a force field that will protect them from everything. I assume there getting them ready" Lisa said
Lisa made a note to bring each dodo bird to her medical animal hospital to do something very special to help the dodo's ,we have to see
"What about the rest of us?" Lola said
"you ever heard of a recent extinct animal back in 2012" got her list of recent extinct animals cause by human hunting.
Lincoln,Lana walked out of the portal to see there on an island of Mauritius, 500 miles from the Eastern coast of Madagascar. Seemed like the dodo was primarily a forest bird, Lana can see a few dodo bird occasionally venturing closer to the shoreline eating a few crabs
Lincoln got his notebook writing down what the dodo bird eating some crabs,some fruit or bugs.
"Wow! This...is so awesome!" Lana see a few dodo birds walk towards them,like a very curious cat. "Aww hey there little fellow "
Lana pet its head.
Lincoln and Lana have a mission to gather 45 dodo's back to Lisa's wildlife sanctuary zoo.
He looks around. "This is super amazing how do I bring you guys back?" He wonders
They explore the island to find so many dodo birds everywhere roaming around like a fat turkey does,Lana got her phone taking pictures this give linc an idea. He grabs a candy bars out of his pocket then open it
soon all the dodo birds ither sleeping or roaming around could smell what delicious food they never had before.
About 23 dodo birds close by start to follow Lincoln to the portal with Lana help the birds go throw too
"This is much easier then I thought " Lana told her brother
Back at the park Lisa,Lucy and Lynn are waiting at the small dodo bird habitat bord out of there minds
Lynn kick her legs on a bench. "When will stinken get here? I'm so bored!" Lynn complained
"Maybe they weren't able to gather them up" Lucy smiled. "Could be harder Lynn"
Just then they see Lincoln with Lana come back from the portal with 23 dodo birds following them wanting to eat the candy bars,after they successfully went through Lisa closed the portal.
There first mission was a complete success seeing the dodo birds exploring there new home or resting on there new nest,may not be 45 dodo birds but 23 will do.
Lisa will have to bring one at a time to a zookeeper medical room to inject a special drug to help them make more
"Congregations guys! I thought you two couldn't pool it through "
"Yeah Lincoln,good job" Lynn said
"what animal do we need next" Lucy told them
"First we need to gather all the female dodo's to the medical place we're I can inject them with a serum to insure they lay five to six chickens size eggs instead of one big egg,just to help them populate more numbers so we can release them back to there home land for a fresh second chance in life" Lisa told them
"so they can lay regular chicken size eggs then regular one giant egg;awesome! Lincoln said
"What is the next mission " Lana said with joy watching the dodo birds roam around
"Soon but for now let's bring the female ones and what food they eat" Lisa said
Lisa bring about 12 female dodo birds to the medical center then later at there habitat they start to lay five small eggs in there nest that are chicken size eggs.
Mission to get them to start breeding successfully
Lincoln watched the dodo birds thinking about what other extinct animals they've have next in the zoo park
