Even tho she can handle herself, Scott's job as a boyfriend is to make sure she's respected. When I usually write works age (as most most of canon) means very little to me. He states continuing his one arm push ups. Left arm tightly behind his backside. Sweat dripping to the ground, yet his determined ebony eyes never weathering away.

"HEY LEE!" That voice he'd know anywhere. Glancing up as he raises to standing position, his smile wider if possible.
"Ah Sakura! Always lovely to see you. What brings you out here, up for a sparring match?"
The Taijutsu Specialist questions in a quickness. As the pinkette attempts to open her mouth again to answer, it's taken out her hands. With hands forming around her waist, squeezing her against his chest.
"Lord Kazekage."
Lee smiles sparkle in his white teeth. Bowing at the waist to the young Kage and friend. Sakura herself leans happily against Gaara's chest.
"Lee, Happy Birthday." The redhead leader of ye Sand gives a gentle nod and smile.
"Right, Lee it's why I came down here to get you. Enough training at least for today. Come on Gaara and I want to treat you to any/everything. No food is to high."
At Sakura's sweet words and Gaara's all the same gentle smile. Lee feels tears build at the corners of his eye sockets. He jumps up in the air, right fist pumped he speeds past them. Dust at his heels, but sheepishly smiles returning to their laughing side.
"Oh thank you so much."
"You're most welcome, just no sake." At Gaara's smug remark as he leads them out the Training Grounds, Lee does grown with Sakura giggling more.
