Chapter 5: Fishnapped:

Kazimir's POV:

I saw someone capturing merfolk. I decided to follow them.

. . .

I saw them, they were forcing the merfolk to be slaves! The leader then appeared.

"Well done," he says, "these monsters are proving themselves to be very useful!"

He had the gall to call them monsters?

"Sir, they're getting tired!"

"Well, remember, we can always eat their fish parts!"

I then made a sound, and I was caught.

. . .

"Well, what do we have here?"

"Who are you," I asked.

"My name is Mordvinov Ilarion Pavlovich, but why do you look familiar?"

"I just have one of those faces," I said.

"Well, if you're here to save these monsters, then I'm afraid you're too late."

"You're the only monster here," I said.

"My friend, it's in the eye of the beholder!"

Mordvinov: Do you see what I see?
Truth is an offense
You silence for your confidence
Do you hear what I hear?
Doors are slamming shut
Limit your imagination
Keep you where they must

Do you feel what I feel?
Bittering distress
Who decides what you express?
Do you take what I take?
Endurance is the word
Moving back instead of forward
Seems to me absurd

Doesn't matter what you see
Or intuit what you read
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say

Independence limited
Freedom of choice is made for you, my friend
Freedom of speech is words that they will bend
Freedom with their exception

Do you fear what I fear?
Living properly
Truths to you are lies to me
Do you choose what I choose?
More alternatives
Energy derives from both
The plus and negative

Do you need what I need?
Boundaries overthrown
Look inside, to each his own
Do you trust what I trust?
Me, myself and I
Penetrate the smoke screen
I see through the selfish lie

Doesn't matter what you see
Or intuit what you read
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say

Independence limited
Freedom of choice is made for you, my friend
Freedom of speech is words that they will bend
Freedom with their exception

Do you know what I know?
Your money and your wealth
You silence just to hear yourself
Do you want what I want?
Desire not a thing
I hunger after independence
Lengthen freedom's ring

Doesn't matter what you see
Or intuit what you read
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say

Independence limited
Freedom of choice is made for you, my friend
Freedom of speech is words that they will bend
Freedom no longer frees you

Doesn't matter what you see
Or intuit what you read
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say!

I then managed to escape, and I fought them all and then I took Mordvinov down.

"Wait, now I recognize you... you're the-"

"New Tsar," I said.

. . .

I then talked to one of the Knights of Justice.

"He goes by other names," says Sir Reginald, "including an odd one... Animo!"

"That is odd," I said, "now, I have someone I must talk to."

. . .

I then met with King Pacific, his wife, and his parents.

"Thank you," says King Pacific.

"For," says Queen Melusine.

"For... saving them," says King Pacific.

"And," says Queen Melusine.

"And perhaps I was wrong about humans," says King Pacific.

"Maybe you can join the council," I said.

"Don't push it," says King Pacific.

"Farewell," says Grand King Jacques.

"It was nice meeting you," says Grand Queen Nereida.

They all then leave. No one was going to believe this.

To Be Continued

Sadly, you know what happens to Pacific. Mordvinov Ilarion Pavlovich is the Ancestor of Dr. Animo thus also making him the Adoptive Ancestor of Unique Animo. In the next chapter, the Pet Show takes place.
